Well I know a lot of them resigned for a lack of a better word before my time here...and then a lot of them don't play anymore so have no reason to be on the forums. Boss was the last somewhat active one but he quit after Boons were released because he couldn't use Devour Hope anymore.

my guess is that they ended up leaving the forum (and maybe even the game / community) one by one due to personal reasons (e.g. they moved on in life and no longer have the time to spend on DbD / they got bored of it and quit), so since we never had another shot at the "Trusted Program" by BHVR, its gotten extraordinarily rare to see anyone with that tag nowadays.
its kind of sad to no longer see them around - they usually had some really interesting topics to talk about and good opinions on others topics, while also being nice and respectfull.
they used to bring some fresh wind in here every once in a while, which was always a welcome thing... :(
It's in the process of being reworked which is why there's not much happening there right now, there's a few changes that I'm intending to implement and with the new things that I have planned (which will take some months to implement sadly), the programme will be more viable to sustain.
Fibi was removed from the program, and members like Groot and NMCKE left out of protest. Dwight plays DBD much less, Boss left DBD entirely over the NFT scandel, and I believe there was one named Fire something that hangs around incredibly rarely.
Most likely banned because they spoke about BHVR and it isn't allowed to be done in excess.
Contrary to popular belief, nobody gets banned for speaking about BHVR - that's just what people say when they don't want to say the truth about why they got banned.
People get banned for breaking the forum rules and throwing insults around.

It's just coincidence that those insults are usually aimed at BHVR staff. :p

I know I hassle you guys/gals over stuff a fair bit and I am still here!
People just need to treat each other ok and learn to present their views in a digestible manner.
I don't think people realize that their post histories can have a huge impact on the sort of engagement/treatment they get from other users.

People have strong opinions and that's great, yes you are right - it's the way of expressing those opinions are where the issues lie. If someone is consistently rude and insulting then clearly, they're going to go through the escalation procedure here on the forums. Those that can discuss things in a constructive manner, without throwing around insults, even if they hate everything in the game, and with bhvr etc will not get any punishment because criticism is fine, it's healthy - it's when it turns rude and insulting, then it becomes a problem.

I can get why some people could become irrational due to how bhvr action that they took or haven't took to ensure the playerbase is happy but insulting people won't help.
The only way to make thing happen is by giving criticism or take a stance and either leave the game till they fix the problem or don't spend anything in the in-game store and dlc. Another would be a high figure spreading some light on a action that could be considered bad.
Even i whom hate bhvr for all it action they've done that made the game worse in anyway isn't insulting them because it would ruin my credibility and the people im insulting wouldn't hear to what i have to say or wouldn't consider my criticism valid. The one thing i did was criticised the bhvr albeit with anger didn't just insult them, i just left. I only here just to watch and maybe comment on the balance or optimization or whatever happen to catch my eye untill vhs come out.

Anyone that becomes irrational over playing video games/game balancing probably shouldn't be playing video games to begin with.
Anyone that becomes irrational over playing video games/game balancing probably shouldn't be playing video games to begin with.
that depends.
a person could get irrational very easily and another could have one moment where they did become irrational but isn't common for them to be so.
I would say im in the middle as i did made a few post where i had a match which pissed me off (one was me getting heated because of the hook survivor has priority over the survivor that trying to unhook them which i said to remove to collision/hitbox for the hook survivor which was mistaken for removing it so the killer could go through instead of being unable to hit the hook survivor)
Depends how long I play DBD for. If I stop playing the game, then I'll probably stop using the forums too.
And with how a lot of my survivor games are going, it's looking that way; the same pattern happened before leading to a 3 month break. Only reason I came back was to play with friends again and then I once more got addicted.

Well...I stopped playing DBD, but I am still here.
Isn't there a chance for you to do the same, in order to avoid this terrible outcome?
Whatever happened to Orion? Haven't seen him in ages.
They and I used to argue about whether or not BHVR were dealing with NFT's. They said there was no way and it was obviously a scam, we had a whole multi-page discussion over it.
News came out and I said something like, "I wish you were right Orion" and they said:

Well people for years have tried to discuss in a constructive matter, only to be ignored and constantly pushed to the side. I'm sure they've just broke and lost all care or respect for bhvr which is more than understandable.
Well I know a lot of them resigned for a lack of a better word before my time here...and then a lot of them either don't play anymore so have no reason to be on the forums. Boss was the last somewhat active one but he quit after Boons were released because he couldn't use Devour Hope anymore.
We definitely need more however. Karu would be one I'd like to see. General would also make a good one as far as I'm concerned. Cashel too. Definitely a lot of options for new people.

Interested how DBD's on Steam currently when steam put out that they were not allowing any games involved with NFT's on their platforms. I didn't read too much into it so maybe there's some exception there I don't know of. Do we know anything about that situation?

Cheers mate 👍 that's very nice of you. I think there are people on here that would be much more deserving than me (including the names you've mentioned).
Plus ngl I feel like I'll say something dumb and get it taken away lol maybe that's just the worrier in me talking
I didn't realise it till I saw the discussion but yea I rarely see any trusted users on here anymore. I hope most of them left by their own choice (either by playing new games or enjoying life).

If we got banned for saying less than glowing things about BHVR, I'd be brown bread XD. When is Naughty Bear becoming a killer?
You’re one of the few people who can stay civil in this hellhole of a forum while also being able to progress the discussion. You would make a great example to the rest of us.
Tldr: This is an archived version of the DBD forum, it has all posts, comments and media. The archived data will be published at the end of October. This site is not in any way affiliated with or endorsed by Behaviour Interactive.

They left the forums or they got banned.
That is sad.
I hope the ones that are able to come back, come back sometime :3

May I ask what it meant to be a “trusted” user? Never understood it
Yeah I miss @Boss tbh

Here is a comment regarding the trusted program recently made by Mandy:
Never saw this - Thanks.
Mandy is pretty decent with the engagement, but I'm not gonna tag her in my reply, haha
Pretty sure Boss quit DBD and the forums after the NFT incident which is completely reasonable. Maybe the others had the same fate?
👀..

Blatant insults should not be tolerated regardless of who the target is.
@GoodBoyKaru - Thanks for the info.

Can forum members nominate others to be Trusted?
what about me?
I swear I'm not running deception.
You're being nominated for the animals I've seen you post if so
Yeah, I see FireHazard every so often.
NMCKE and I SWF every once in a while too

Yeah, what most people said here is pretty accurate.
Many old faces seem to be missing.
Honestly I fear I may be joining them soon
Don't say that, my friend.
You are one of those who carry this whole damn thing!
The Forums need you.
//
Well, I for one, hope you do not join them.
I still can't believe we lost Orion :(
I really do not wish to see this sad ending.

Probably not. If I stop playing a game, I like to distance myself as much as possible.
Ah, I see.
Lets hope they release something that you enjoy, them. At the very least to stick around a bit longer.
I see very few faces from years ago, if any. Most left or got banned.
Whatever happened to Orion? Haven't seen him in ages.
A terrible situation which, unfortunately, we can only sit by and watch.
Or leave, obviously.

Me?
You flatter me, my dear friend.
I do not deserve such praise.
Odds on we make you trusted for a laugh
Dont leave me all alone ol' timer
Oh wow didn't know.

I'll say something dumb way before you do XD
I highly doubt it 😂 though I hope neither of us is proven right lol

😂 If I became Trusted for animal pics I'd do daily animal post.

Nah you would make a much better one. You can’t deny you do so much for this community, especially through your threads on the dev streams.
