Poor Thalita is somehow not a normal person, but her brother is.
Thalita was a supermodel and has multiple paragraphs talking about how she gained a lot of fame, and how she used it to attract more customers to her kite shop
"The videos even caught the eye of a modeling agent. Before she knew it, Thalita was booking photoshoots for print ads and appearing in commercials."
"Fame, it seemed, was not as glamourous as she thought it would be"
"Thalita’s fame helped attract even more people to the hobby."

We know that many of the Survivors are just peacefully living their lives when the Entity decides to pluck them from their realities.
Which Survivor’s stories tug at your heartstrings? I’m going through all the Survivor adepts and I’m on Adam Francis right now. It’s just so sad. This poor guy worked so hard to achieve a satisfying life. When he finally finds some stability and equilibrium the Entity decides it’s time to steal Mr. Francis away. In the words of @Hexonthebeach : “######### u entity!” 🤣
Anyways, what Survivor lore makes you feel bad for them?
Gabriel tbh, He is on a mission that Huxly Corp does not even know the survivability rate of so they send Clones of people that have fake memories, he witnesses everyone on his team die one by one, and being stranded in an entire planet by himself with killer android he sends a message to his parents to hopefully reach them but he doesn't know that they aren't even real and just a fake memory implanted in his head

Survivors from the looks of it are all up to date. Every realm from Hawkins onwards was significantly higher quality than the rest and the other realms needed a catch up. Now all thats left is the Swamp
As for Survivors, when Resident Evil came out they reworked a bunch of the models up to Yui with the exception of Steve, Nancy, and Ash.
And then killers they 100% need to catch up on. All of them so far have been fantastic by still keeping true to their character but making them much more detailed.
there is still tons of stuff for Maps and Survivors
The first would to finish the survivors, Nancy Steve, Ash, Jeff, Jane, and Zarina's face needs some work whether it be some texture changes or a whole remodel is up to BHVR but these are the last survivors that needs a face rework
Survivors do not have any outfits updated, so Dwight still has outfits with the old watercolor effect they had when the game first came out, Also many of the hairs can be updated to the same quality they seem to have now. other than just looks, animations could also be updated with new healing and cleansing/blessing totem animations
Looking at the first updated maps Yamaoka and NOES they are just as outdated compared to Haddonfield and other newer maps, I'm not saying that they should start the cycle again but as time goes on the problem that made them do the realm beyond will come back. also they could do smaller visual tweaks to maps to fix them like changing Borgo's realm lighting so it's not rough on the eyes (That map uses complementary colors everywhere so the whole maps clashes and is hard on the eyes)
This is more of a wishlist but add more depth to the game, out of all the Slasher games out there this is the game that Visually feels the most Dull which sucks as this IS the best one out there, I mean just look at the screenshots at other games and it has a wider range of colors, the sky box is not a 480p screenshot, ect.

You've got some massive line breaks in your post, makes it very hard to read.
I'd rework items entirely, but I think more items would be the wrong way to go. I'd combine keys and maps and have an item specifically dedicated to aura reading.
Keys are already pretty strong, but I usually don't bring one just because they have a reputation that if someone has it they are playing for hatch.
Oh I'm sorry I originally wrote it in Google Docs and when I transferred it, it had like weird spacing I tried to fix as much but probably missed a lot
I did a rework of it again which should hopefully make it easier

this shouldn't encourage hate on twitch, the same way that Claudette Morel doesn't encourage racism. Also if people harass David for that reason (Which believe me I already experienced it) It's not the fault of the character but the fault of The player doing the actions
Also for the bubba masks, they are a different case of Certain players Using something that made Poc uncomfy and harassing/Targeting them with it to cause a reaction

BT as a perk won't ever be base kit, But they might have a small window of enduring after a hook (like probably 5 secs), so if a killer perk would be base kit then it should be a less extent of the original,
one idea I had was Tinkerer, But it only activates once per gen on base kit

I think that a Halloween one would be really cool!
for the shape, it could be notes from dr Loomis about the crime Michael Myers committed in 1963, possible motives, and interrogations with his parents, and Judith's boyfriend of what they witnessed. throughout the notes it would show his decline in hope in Michael as he realizes that he's just pure evil
and for Laurie, they could do a day in a life story of what she was like before giving more character to her and her friends, showing how much they mean to her, why she babysits, her father's struggle to sell the Myers house, and maybe she could have the fear of being watched which would explain why she was so freaked out with Michael while her friends laughed it off as just someone in a Halloween costume.
-
for me, I love licensed chapters but after they get released they are usually forgotten about for months or years at a time before they get anything and with the risk of the license getting removed like the stranger things, it's hard to not like the original content more than the licensed chapters (Content that the devs make and has way more creative liberties, more outfits, and often is the most balanced)

If you think that the other healing perks weren't underpowered in comparison to CoH you're not being objective. The fact that CoH was seen more frequently than all of the other healing perks combined show that.
if you are underestimating what healing perks CAN do then idk maybe actually try some of them out, just because something isn't meta doesn't make it bad
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlDphAmfUOw^This clip is nothing special but shows 2 healing perks working at 200%, COH (50% + Limited range) would take 4 times longer to heal the Feng

Please elaborate. :)
Teammates make or break the game experience, which is why playing solo is soo annoying. personally, I don't care for the perk I never used it but instead used the things listed above. but if I bring it or a teammate does and all the rest of the team does is get hit and run to the corner to heal at the speed of self-care then that's not fun to play with

You will probably die a lot more. People will just be healing everywhere and wasting too much time. I play mostly solo and I'm getting rid of the perk after the changes go live.
this! people, are still going to be caring more about healing than anything but it's just going to be longer, wasting more time. I don't care if the perk is good or not mainly just worried about how people are going to use it after it is nerfed 😬

They should nerf it for swf. For random players the old system is ok resp. fair. There is a huge difference between swf and random. Nerfing CoH for all combinations is just unfair and a lack of creativeness.
Bhvr stated that they don't want to nerf SWF but instead want to buff solo players by giving them information that SWF has then rework the game from there

Team benefit trumps individual healing. Even if it was half the speed of selfcare I'd still use it.
If you care for team plays that much then idk heal them yourself 🤷♂️
Empathy always exists to help locate them, also if they are injured and in a chase (Which happens in all chases) you see where they are so you don't need to worry about the killer running up to you unless they get close to you

I feel like 10% is too low to warrant using CoH over other healing perks (or just using medkits), especially with the snuffing condition. Maybe if snuffing only remove 1 token or whatever, and tokens were shared between CoH users.
Wouldn't mind a nerf on the range of boons in general (lingering effects could be extended to compensate for some).
E: holy redundancy/repetition
It is quite slow but i was thinking more on the lines of Save the best for last where you start off with basically nothing and grow from there but make a mistake and you can lose your progress

Um not you acting like your opinion is still the only correct one, Let me guess you hate COH soooo damn much that you complain about it until they nerf it and the meta becomes something else then you whine about that over and over because you are always right

@Kaitsja said:
Well then, I see no point in bringing CoH over We'll Make It and simply getting every rescue and healing under hook. For self-healing, I think what was previously known as Second Wind will work just fine.
EXACTLY!, people acting like COH was the best thing in the game but honestly, I kept using the older perks that are way more efficient IMO, and way more satisfying being the support of the team than just putting a boon and hoping your teammates wont just care more about healing themselves then doing things like gens or saving people off hooks
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Should be a token perk.
Every time a person heals a health state within Circle of Healing, gain a 25% stackable bonus to healing speed, up to 100% (or 125% if you wanna get spicy). Makes it dangerous if the killer allows it to stay up all game, but makes it less of a nightmare to deal with in the early game.
pretty interesting, they would have to make the boon radius really small tho, and also lower the healing speed to like +10% ( +10% every health state healed in the radius to like a max of 80 or something) and have all tokens removed if the totem is snuffed or transferred

Nope devs FKD up on that one. MMR horrible. xD They managed to do 1 thing right with CoH though..lol.
So the dev's say is final and what they say is set in stone but the things you don't like, Funny isn't it?
the Dev's make a ######### ton of mistakes, they are human after all so even what they say has an opinion behind it, so just because they approved the nerf for the PTB doesn't mean anything

why do all people think all survivors are SWF? it sucks so much that solo survivors are left in the shadows, not everybody has communication, and for some reason most killers think we are all always together, they blame SWF when they dont get 4ks, even if none of us were together, even if u watch streamers most of them are solo players but for some reason most people think that most survivors have someone they are talking to in the team.
I said especially meaning it's easier as a team, you could just run to generator to see if survivors are there or like I said before Bring aftercare

You mentioned 2 of 16 slots for Pharmacy and Build to last to get 3 heals for yourself. That require finding a chest and time to unlock, 36sec to stay in locker.
Vs
Coh 1 of 16 slots, requires 16sec of blessing for 24sec heal...for unlimited healing to 4 survivors
you say that but in reality, teammates exist if I want a heal so damn badly without taking any of the perk slots especially if you are with a friend and can communicate a spot to meet,

You are dead wrong... CoH has been broken beyond belief..
I never said it wasn't, just that (IMO) this is too strong of a nerf
-
@TheSubstitute said:
It brings the equivalent of one perk to the entire survivor team and reduces altruistic healing time for some set-up cost. That's still pretty strong.
More importantly in my opinion, after the nerf it won't instantly invalidate every other perk in the same category (healing) by simply existing. The only practical reason to not bring CoH before over every other healing perk is if you didn't have it. That alone shows how overpowered it was.
I call bs on the healer perks being underpowered compared to it, I only really ever used COH on a boon build other than that I used Inner healing or just a medkit works fine. I would rather be the medic that helps the team and make sure they get saved and healed than just let them waste more time by healing themselves at a totem
-
@Marc_123 said:
We will see if this really makes a difference.
Sure, if you set it up to heal yourself then yes.
But the main problem is more that it is an unlimited heal for the whole team. And that is unchanged.
Then just make it so only you can use it. making it a fairly strong perk for medic classes without being too overwhelming with whole teams healing themselves. also the meta should not be just put a boon down and let them heal themselves. also half the time the teammate will have to run across the map to even get in the radius so its just more time being lost
-

Yes the L4d shirts are still exclusives to PC
also, exclusive ≠ timed limited (Or timed exclusive) exclusive is more like a Fortnite battle pass you miss out on it too bad because they are not coming back. timed exclusive on the other hand gives people time to use their skin that they earned or received but also is put out at a later date for everyone to get,
The only true new exclusives bhvr still makes are the charms but it's just a charm and crowns too but they seem to make a newer version of them every year so its not the end of the world if you miss out on them
Just a guess but for Mikaela's Halloween skin it will most likely come out next Halloween like David's skin in the 2021 Halloween event
And Yes BHVR did comment about exclusives back in 2019 in the patch notes for the update that gave us the exclusive cosmetics
-
It should remove self care to make synergy with the perk self care making The full form of COH require 2 perks instead of just one
-
@WesCravenFan said:
I fail to see how this is any different than the Legacy skins. Exclusive skins are not a new concept to DBD.
One is a recolor of the main outfit given to people who had to deal with the old (And way harder) way to level people up which stopped with Nea. The other was base store outfits (For the artist) taken away from the store and given to people who pay for prime gaming. BHVR stated multiple times that they don't like exclusives and the only things that are exclusives are The l4d t-shirts, Dev Shirts, Legacy, And Twitch/ Any other content creator-made cosmetic. (Which all but the twitch shirts are from the old days of dbd). why do you think Battle pass cosmetics get put in the shop, or why everyone has kate's Freespirit shirt even though it was marketed as Exclusive and made people Repair over 70 gens to even get.
Edit Oh and all Stranger Things stuff could be seen as exclusives but that's because of the Chapter leaving not bhvr trying to make money by selling exclusives.
-
The top 3 for me are
- Stranger things
- Descend Beyond
- ALL-KILL
-
if it was a chapter based on fire. it would be interesting if one part of it (Killer or survivor) was involving NO SPIN

@PlayTwink said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2692396#Comment_2692396
It honestly depends on BHVR's mood whenver they want to sell outfits for shards or auric cells
For the base green outfits, one is always free the other is a mix of free/ paid for only
-
@PlayTwink said:
Honey. It's not for free. For the next few months the prime will offer more content for DBD. The first 30 days are free trial, but for next ones you need to pay. It's only about money in this big disgusting world.
If you are talking to me I never said twitch prime is free I was saying that most green outfits have the option to buy with shards so you could get them for free by just playing the game.
and it feels like a slap in the face to people that do that because they save up shards for basically nothing, the only thing you could buy with shards for the Artist is the recolors for the default
-
@Tiufal said:
Who said that those skins were supposed to be in the shop?
Ever since the store was added with The Curtain Call chapter every (original) killer and survivor has two green outfits.
-
@UnknownKiller said:
Skins arent that good anyway.
They are not the only ones though next month will be something different
-
@anarchy753 said:
First, have they actually said anywhere that they're exclusive? Like rift content they probably will come to the store soon enough. Prime gaming rewards is just a way of advertising the game to people who are already involved in gaming.
Though I will absolutely admit that I pointed out to my friends when Artist came out that it was pretty strange how she didn't get the usual amount of skins a killer gets on launch. She has less recolours, her weapon is skipped in most of the recolours, and she only got 1 unique outfit. I'm all for putting skins on Prime gaming (not in the least because it's cheaper to buy Prime for a month than it is to buy a skin, without even considering free trials being used to claim the rewards) but I think it's a bit questionable to take skins that would have been available to everyone with any other killer and cutting them out for the reward.
That said you would have had to pay for them anyway so who cares really?
It never directly stated that they are exclusives, but BHVR also never said they will be put out at a later date like for the rifts. Also looking at the context with prime rewards (Apex, GTA, and Fortnite are examples) they are either Currency to buy things in-game or exclusives, never something that comes out at a later time.
And if they aren't exclusives and coming out on a later date, keeping that information from people is scummy because they know people would spend $10 to get a skin with that extra incentive of the fear of missing out.
And for green outfits, a lot of people buy them with shards and if Bhvr strips green outfits to be rewards, people would no longer have that option.
Bhvr should just stick to currency tbh getting 500 ac is less than the price of one green outfit Which they already are giving away, so it's not like it's going to break the bank to do that instead of skins.
-
@IronKnight55 said:
Doesn't really matter to me, just get the paid subscription if you want it.
Not everyone can though and the rare cosmetics are usually the ones people get with shards. it feels like a slap in the face that they say over and over that hate exclusive, but then make deals like this to make exclusives that are even limited time.
The artist isn't the only one as the tweet states that it's going to be monthly. so for every update we are going to have less items because they are used as exculives
-
@Marc_123 said:
Could be that they come in the store in one year or so similar to some rift outfits.
I don´t know if they are completely exclusive.
even still the artist has barely any skins, to begin with. nothing to mix or match other than the recolors, and the frost outfit which isn't that good. Bhvr stated that this is monthly how many skins a mouth, who would get what, what if (example) jake's new skin is a twitch reward. after over a year of Jake mains waiting for a store outfit it now has a chance for his upcoming outfit to be a paid subscription.

It was stated that none of the survivors were supposed to be truly good people. Survivors were all meant to be flawed in some way or the other, they are not that innocent.
For example we are told survivors did kill another survivor in the realm because he kept screaming and they wanted him to shut up so the killers won't find them. Jonah is not the first survivor to cause death, Talbot/Blight was picked by the Entity to be a survivor and he caused death without realizing it till he discovers it later, Nea caused the death of a guy who followed her because she marked his car, David harmed people and we were told he is an ######### long ago before they started using the tomes and Dwight almost caused his boss to kill someone because of the stuff he put in his coffee. What they made it clear for us is, these people are picked to be survivors because they showed guilt and remorse and didn't lose their humanity like the killers.
Understandable but the main point I was trying to bring is it's not even what the story is about and only briefly mentioned if your actions killed 100s-1000s of people that you were trying to protect you won't just instantly forget about it and take a trip to chile. they seem to have multiple unfinished storylines within one survivor story. The beginning is the Childhood + CIA working for black vale, the Middle is the bombing, and the last part is the code in the cemetery. if they wanted to have the survivor in the same area as the killer why not just have the art museum where the paintings are on display In his hometown.
altogether it's nothing too bad, but the lore itself is very underwhelming and the bombing side plot makes it all the more confusing. Jonah doesn't really sound like a real person compared to the other survivors from this year Yun-Jin and Makalia.

@LeFennecFox said:
Why hasn't this been fixed yet? It's awful to struggle and then pull a comeback out of nowhere for a SWF to all disconnect to give hatch to their buddy. I remember the devs saying this was an exploit yet it still exists.
The issue could be resolved by delaying hatch opening based on the highest hook time left of the dcing players when there is only 1 person not downed/hooked. Might need adjust for the time needed to suicide on hook since that's a valid strategy I believe.
It couldn't be used to grief random teammates if it only activated when the last alive is part of a SWF and the dcing player(s) are in that SWF.
Example:
A (SWF) - Sitting on hatch
B (SWF) - Crawling somewhere downed (60 seconds left)
C - Dead
D (SWF) - 2nd stage on hook (45 seconds left)
1. B & D disconnect instantly
2. The hatch is delayed 60 seconds
1. B disconnects at 60 seconds and then D does with 35 seconds left
2. It has been 10 seconds since B (The highest timer in the SWF) disconnected so the hatch delay is 50 seconds
I might be missing a few scenarios where it could go wrong
Even though it is an exploit the resolution is the dc penalty and also remember that the other survivors that did dc lost all bp in that game as well as 2 pips.
