I play both sides and I’ve said something similar before, as survivor it doesn’t mean anything to me as in theory if I’m “good,” I’ll go against people who are good with the killer they’re using. But as someone who plays killer and rotates a lot it may be fine eventually but for days, weeks, months I’m going to be going up against “weaker,” survivors and the games won’t be fun for either side.3 comments 121 views last activity

I get it, some rift challenges have been stupid and requires outright sabotaging your own team... I’m looking at you hiding Dwight!!! But the uproar over surviving while others escape, that confuses me. It will literally happen just by playing the game. I wonder if anyone else feels this way, or if there’s any chance they may eventually change it. As survivor I don’t mind, I’m usually red or purple anyways so if MMR for me is close to that I’ll be going against good killers regardless. As killer though I rotate. I don’t know if MMR goes up or down, but basically wondering when it hits PC for matchmaking will every start at some baseline? That would make the first few days or weeks of games absolutely random. So cosmetic outfits are a pretty big deal to a lot of people, whether the free ones or paid for ones. I usually find one good outfit for any killer or survivor I’ll play a lot. Charms however almost seem a waste, which is sad because a lot of them are REALLY REALLY AMAZING. However you really can’t see them on survuvors. I know it’s not a terribly useful list, I mean if you’re good at killer you can wreck bad players with Speed limiter Bubba or a perkless addonless Clown. Buy I’m bored so which killers do you think may be better against bad survuvors than even top tier killers, or close? I keep seeing this whenever bugs are mentioned, a few counterpoints. Yea they’re a small company, but they seemingly allocate their resources ineffectively. Cosmetics and bugs are different teams, we all know that by now. But maybe it’s time to move some of the budget from cosmetics to actually gameplay until that’s up to par again. So in preparation for MMR killers are now locked in the lobby, but Survivors have a new program/hack/cheat to see killers before the game starts so they can load their items and perks to counter the killer. The need to add the “basic attack only,” modifier to so many perks is getting really lame. I can understand it on STBFL but things like Surge, the new knockout, and sloppy butcher should be applied for all hits. To put bluntly, Why does a Demogorgon pouncing to claw you not cause harder healing like just standing and clawing? So for most killers I’ve been running a setup of BBQ, discordance, and then two slowdown perks. I prefer Surge and Sloppy because they’re passive but I’m wondering what other people use or suggest? I’ll be up front about my stance, I have no faith in their MMR system, and I’m not sure they do either. They have stated they won’t release what constitutes “skill,” in the system so there’s no real way to know if it’s working. But if you try to call then out on random matchmaking there’s no real proof once everything is hidden. Now obviously there is a lot to be said for great loopers than can extend chases for 3-4-5 gens using jungle gyms and mind games... not trying to make that sound unimpressive or unnecessary. But a great many players would be so much better just holding W and making distance as often as possible rather than waiting and trying to play every loop. I play all killers, but since his release over half of all my killer games are PH, I even shot him up to prestige 3 nothing I’ve ever done before becaucr I enjoy him. Can an expert in programming tell me how Survivor queues are long, killer queues are long, and even when you get a game the ranks are not even close... like one of these things shouldn’t be happening because they’re supposed to make up for the other aren’t they? I’m a big proponent of ensuring I get all the totems prior to end game to counter NOED, plus points and it’s nice to get ruin or devour early too. Ive tried each and obviously there are pros and cons which do you prefer IF you use one and don’t just memorize spawns. Detective and maps show how many are remaining better than small game. Now obviously killers get more BPs in general than survivors so this would seem like an easy statement to make, but it's not just that. As the killer you also have a lot of control over how the game goes at least in regards to BPs. For example if you bring a cake as survivor but the killer is a tunneling Mori user you may only get a chance to earn 2-3k before you die. As a killer though even2 comments 161 views last activity

So events always seem to bring out the really toxic players, but now survivors are even worse towards each other. Racing each other for crowns, half of them on licensed characters so they won't even get a cosmetic just like 500 BPs. Plus noone even attempts an endgame save because "my crown dude."
