I'm not impressed by pretty much anything she has. Her strongest add-ons don't hold a candle to Wraith's strongest add-ons for example. The trap setting speed add-ons like Rope Necklet are nice, for obvious reasons. The trigger range add-ons like Bog Water actively work against you, because if the traps a triggered from further away, you tp and the survivor's already running away. Better than Nurse! (not) I think Artist is a decent killer at best, and with a few buffs she could be at a place where she can compete in top level play, but right now she just isn't. She already has so many counters. If she gets any nerfs at all, she's a dead killer 100%. Her projectile is unique in that it just goes straight forward, not up or down (although the other ranged killers have a ca0 comments 61 views last activity

... you know medkits are too strong. I don't harp nearly as hard on medkit healing speed as most others do. But maybe that's just ignorant of me. These instances of survivors being able to heal themselves in less than 10 seconds, no matter how rare, should not even be possible. But even though the heal isn't usually quite that quick, medkits and their healing speed are still an issue. Ironicall50 comments 881 views last activity

You have to get unhooked, find the person later on that unhooked you, beat your greedy teammates to the unhook, make sure it's a safe unhook, and then do that 4 times. This feels like it was designed by someone who doesn't play the game. Do you even realize how situational getting 1 unhook under those circumstances is? You're just asking for survivors to throw the whole game in order to get this4 comments 91 views last activity

For those of you who didn't know about this Pig add-on, Amanda's Letter before the nerf gave you 12 meters of aura reading while crouched, kinda like All-Seeing Blood, but it took away 3 head traps from you as a downside. Why does this feel-good yet ultimately mediocre effect have such a huuuge downside? But that's not the best part! Getting a new map is exciting. Aesthetically, it's quite pleasing. But this map is just horrible balance-wise. It's huge, it has breakable wall-excused god windows, and you can't hear survivors' footsteps. Why is the map so huge? Mother's Dwelling is one of the most hated maps in the game, and is coincidentally one of the most survivor-sided. Why then are maps of similar size being made? Now that only 2 chains spawn, you have to run the purple add-on, that spawns an additional chain when one breaks, just for Engineer's Fang to be as good as it was before. So from a pink that does well on its own... to a pink and a purple needed to compensate. OR you could think of it as pre-nerf Engineer's Fang but with the joke add-on, Bent Nail I believe, which spawns 1 less chain for more bloo58 comments 1,251 views last activity

This killer is dead right now, and he's still getting nerfed. He has so little going for him, it's crazy. His power practically counters itself. His possessed chain spawn is just really weird all around. You have to choose the gateway spawn, and then spawn the chain? Why not just instantly shoot some chains out? Makes no sense. Deathslinger can do it, or could. It also spawns delayed, and its tu3 comments 111 views last activity

Disappointingly enough, there's this common mentality for survivor players, and some killer players, that if you played one of the weaker killers, you have no right to complain when you lose. "It's your fault for choosing them. Pick a stronger killer next time." It's not hard to understand how that's a really bad mentality to have about the state of the game. There's some games where Object of Obsession literally doesn't work. The killer isn't undetectable or anything, so I don't know why it's not affecting them. A Deathslinger on Haddonfield I faced for example. Object literally won't do anything. I don't get my every 30-seconds killer aura reveal. Sometimes it will work at the beginning of the match, but will randomly stop working. I really don't un18 comments 241 views last activity

I've just gone through Trickster's bloodweb, who I barely play, and I see this gem of an add-on: Killing Part Chords: Increases movement speed while throwing Blades by 1%. Is this a joke? Why are the numbers so safe? Brown add-ons can do more than barely anything, you know. I've seen a lot of bad browns but this one really gets to me. Is it really supposed to make that much of a difference? To22 comments 551 views last activity

I see why a lot of people fail to push Pinhead to high MMR. First of all, he needs Engineer's Fang to get to that level, but second and most important to this discussion, his hit detection on his possessed chain is garbage. The projectile is too small. I'm summoning the chains directly on people and turn it to hit them, and it's still not enough. The problem here is not the turn rate of the chai8 comments 181 views last activity

This is gonna ruffle some feathers, even though it shouldn't. DS is still one of the most powerful survivor perks in the game. It's anti-tunnel and then some. But even in its heyday, I always felt it shouldn't have a skill check. Pretty often someone will say, "Oh, missed my skill check." basically allowing the killer to tunnel them as opposed to not, because that skill check decides everything.104 comments 2,601 views last activity

I'm gonna pick out 3 killers who have many add-ons which I think could be basekit, because the aspect of the killer's power that those add-ons affect to me should not be alterable to improve; they should be good at base. There are more killers that I could name, but I'm focusing on these 3 to make it short and get my point across. And it's not to say that these add-ons are OP and should be nerfed0 comments 71 views last activity

It's funny that the "strongest" add-ons Wraith has that people complain about all the time, silent bell and All-Seeing Blood, are actually pretty bad on him. They don't do much for you, not compared to the add-ons I'm about to mention. Wraith's base speed while cloaked is noticably better than it used to be, but it still doesn't feel quick enough to be truly threatening. He can't play catch-up l24 comments 401 views last activity

I am shocked that Twins are always complained about and ranked so highly. I don't understand how they could ever deal real damage to decent survivors, or beat them even. Maybe it's a PC advantage thing. To me, they feel awful to play. The thing I'm most concerned about is Victor's pounce. Why is it so inconsistent? There's been a bit of debate in recent years about extremely quick first gens, like 1 gen done less than 30 seconds into the match. I can't stress enough that my problem with this is not that it's happening every game, but that it's even possible. Gens should not be finished that quick from 0%, full stop. But people always made excuses for these situations like, "Usually the killer just 4k's anyw0 comments 61 views last activity

Whether it's on Haddonfield, Badham, or Autohaven, these loops are just garbage design because they're either too high to throw/shoot over or it's one of those trucks. The trucks are well designed except for the fact that they have all kinds of junk piled in the back, which makes the loop too high, which makes it garbage for ranged killers. If that stuff was gone, and wasn't guaranteed to spawn e7 comments 171 views last activity

I thought for the longest time that the perk gained a token when someone missed a skill check. Now I'm reading that it gains tokens when the killer hooks someone. Is that a new change or has it always been like that? Also, I thought the perk revealed itself after the first gen got done and then someone hit a skill check. Is that different too now?2 comments 41 views last activity

There's only one way to shake up the meta of this game, and that's to finally look at the survivor perks that have been meta for literal years, some of which are from the first 4 survivors. I'm not gonna be able to cover all of the ones I want, because then this would be insanely long, but I'll try to focus on the main offenders. Survivor is same old, same old. 1-2 people DC at the beginning and ensure our loss, or we completely decimate the killer through gen rush. I am, more often than not, on the other side of that coin. I like playing killer, so I get those early DC and gen rush games too. But a large amount of my games have felt unwinnable. I don't use Nurse or Spirit, and console Blight is console Blight. That's what happened with moris, right? Immediate nerf, with no notice. It was done on purpose to stop killers from spamming moris, since they weren't gonna be usable after the nerf. Why then were keys handled differently? I question so much of the double standards in this game. All I want is a little balance and consistency. Keys were ridiculously broken, and now we're getting half-measures on t59 comments 1,281 views last activity

Seriously, is it that hard make sounds play right? This is mostly a killer issue but also a survivor one to a lesser extent. Where do I even begin? The silent slug bug: classic. I've noticed recently that when the last gen gets done, that gen's aura doesn't get shown. Is this intentional or not? Either way, it's a huge nerf to killer late game. You'd pretty much have to run Bitter Murmur just to find where that last survivor(s) who did the gen is, when that information should be given to you for free from the gen aura. Has anybody else experienced this? Is there anyone w0 comments 21 views last activity

This perk is flawed in so many ways, even its "powerful" effect of regressing a gen 25% doesn't make up for it. Any perk that requires you to kick a gen is inherently weak, because if you have to chase someone off it, you have to give them a huge lead on you. If you chase them after that, you'll lose the game because you're gonna take forever to catch them, but if you don't go after them, they c20 comments 431 views last activity

This new patch is great and all (not entirely) but it's not changing much. Gen speed is the #1 thing holding killers back from competing with the survivors. They just take too little time to complete. Killers have to run 4 gen defence perks. "I do just fine and I don't run gen defence." Then you're not at high level. We need to move away from needing gen defence to compete. Perhaps making the ge32 comments 401 views last activity

So for some reason Pinhead can only have 3 of his chains on a survivor at any one time. Technically, that is true. But there's this interaction that can happen with his chains that makes it seem as of you have to get 5 or so chains off. If you have chains from the chain hunt on you, and then Pinhead hits you with a possessed chain that spawns more on you, it's still gonna be a maximum of 3. But i0 comments 71 views last activity

I've been wondering why even when I instantly teleport to survivors when they trip my traps, they've already got good distance on me. It's because of the add-on I was using, the Bog Water. Why is this an add-on, and why is there one for multiple rarities? You also have Bloodied Water and Bloodied Mud which do the same thing but they're even worse, because their effect is "better". So we all know the unreliability that hexes have. They could stay up all game, but more often than not they go down in the first minute, if not the first 30 seconds. So here's my logic on why have Undying on top of Ruin is weaker. If Ruin gets cleansed immediately, it's a small problem because you're now a 3-perk killer. If Ruin/Undying get cleansed immediately, you're a 2-perk killer, which is a6 comments 81 views last activity

Not that it didn't anyway, seeing as survivors can vacuum into their animation from way farther than killers can with theirs. But now it's on a whole other level, because this has to do with when it first opens. If nobody else is gonna talk about it, I will. We all remember when moris got nerfed, when they got a +1 hook requirement. And you know, it was mostly about people's feelings getting hurt, because killers could spam moris or whatever, and that was "toxic". So the nerf was in whole or in part based off of a feeling*. No matter what time of day it is since this patch came out, it's been instant lobbies for survivors and 5+ minutes waiting for a killer lobby. You would think it would be the opposite. A killer-only chapter just came out, and everybody's testing out the new killer, so why aren't the killer queues short and the survivor ones long? One of the only things Pinhead has going for him, though sadly this is needs to go, is that when you've got chains on you as survivor, and you drop a pallet then try to take the chains off, if forces you to slow vault every single time. I thought we learned our lesson with Self-care taking priority over hook saves and gen repairs, but no, here's the 2.0 of that. Pinhead is pretty fun to play agai14 comments 381 views last activity

If you don't know what I'm talking about, I'm referring to the killer skins from the Hallowed Blight Collection, and other skins that have the syringe in the killer's back which has caused them to become blighted versions of themselves. Almost the entirety of the changes either don't make much of a difference or they make him even worse than he was before. The 1 good change that sticks out is that the chains in the chain hunts won't spawn behind a wall and immediately break. Everything else though is just... what were they thinking? Playing killer without gen defence spam is garbage. It really is. You have to be psychic in knowing who's a good looper and when to drop a chase BEFORE you'd even realistically get that information. If you see a survivor run to shack or a jungle gym, might as well not even bother. Base regression doesn't do anything, so don't bother kicking gens. Hit and run doesn't work, because they'll just hea8 comments 151 views last activity

I know with the licensed chapters, we don't normally get outfits for them. Freddy still doesn't have anything, and Myers has 1. And those killers certainly don't have (what should I call them?) premium skins, which change the character entirely, like Trapper's Krampus or Oni's Minotaur. Title. Survivors' "deep wounds" mean next to nothing, because they're perfectly capable of doing everything they normally do with that effect. They're basically unaffected. They can heal each other, do totems, sabotage, all of that. They can also do gens while under the effect. With gen rush being such a rampant problem in this game, I think this interaction needs to be looked at. Survivors have1 comments 81 views last activity

A god pallet/window is one in which the killer can never mindgame. Only Nurse would be able to ignore them since she has blinks. What is going on? How were the zombies behaving better in the ptb? Now, not only are they stupid and we have to put detection and speed add-ons just to make them useful, but they get caught on everything! They could spend the whole game walking into the same wall! I just want to know if this is still a thing, because I have people telling me I'm wrong, when I've experienced it myself from both sides. I'll try to keep this as comprehensive yet simple as I can. Trapper: Able to carry more than 1 trap at base. The mascot of the game needs to be stronger than he is now. It's kind of embarrassing.
