  • SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: A survivor stuck in locker on Temple of Purgation after being hit by Ghoul's power. PLATFORM: PS5. STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: I was playing Ghoul on Temple of Purgation, used my first enraged bound to get to the tile, the second to navigate through it, and the third to hit the survivor (Claudette) with my power, at which point she had already be

  • Alright, I think I've seen enough of this killer. I played him with a variety of perks, including pure chase, gen defence, info, Brutal Strength/Fire Up, STBFL/Rapid, hexes, etc. Used a variety of add-ons as well, including purples, greens, yellows, browns. Didn't bother with pinks, because whether they're OP or whatever, you're not going to see them on average. I tried using perks that I'd seen

  • Let us see which survivors we've hooked, and how many times. Our brains could do with working slightly less overtime. I won't be gaslit into thinking this is an unreasonable suggestion, because survivor base info is so extreme by comparison. And because killer has to mentally juggle more things, being that he's facing 4 players with unique builds, hook states, skill, and game knowledge, all of wh

  • I can't see when I aim using that skin. The very bright orange glow on a dark grey background is also distracting, which isn't a problem on other blighted weapons like Doctor's or Ghost Face's. It's already hard enough keeping your bearings while aiming in. Please fix this so I can use this cool skin without handicapping myself. Thanks in advance.

  • Eventually it's gonna be discovered that multiple Knight add-ons are weak or useless. When that happens, and one needs a rework, its new description could be: When a survivor is chased by a guard, they're Oblivious. Or maybe even: When a survivor is chased by a guard, the Knight becomes Undetectable.

  • When the blighted Blight outfit "True Blight" came out, I only bought the torso, but I see now that his head and weapon for that outfit are now available for me to buy with iridescent shards (7200 each). If I do the same with other killer's blighted outfits, or just auric-cell-only outfits in general, will it give me the same deal? Can I buy 1 piece with auric cells and the rest will become avail

  • It's not a skill issue. I can't do it anymore. I don't think Hag in her current form has been thought through at all. If you go against survivors who know how to play against her, you automatically lose. Her web of traps is what makes her dangerous. When survivors, even just 1 or 2, keep tripping your traps you lose all your power. "Then hit them." You CAN'T. It isn't that simple with Hag. Becaus

  • That endgame mori mechanic should have been implemented the patch after it was announced. I guess since it was a killer issue though, it was skipped over. Now you see match after match (when the killer actually wins, anyway) survivors just lame it out by hiding and are almost always rewarded for that kind of play. I just want to know why the endgame of this game is so egregiously survivor sided.

  • Doing a mori with the Tombstone Piece ends Tier 3's duration, but Fragrant Tuft Of Hair makes Tier 3 infinite. So which trumps which?

  • Once you hit iri 1 with either role, you should start getting 1.5x bp or 2x bp. Right now it just feels like there's no point in reaching that goal, other than bragging rights or getting the 1m drop-in-the-bucket bp reward. We could always reduce the cost of things in the bloodweb: 1k for browns, 2k for yellows and so on (which is an obvious and reasonable cost scaling system to me). But because

  • PS4 Cannot hear most sounds. No survivor footsteps, breathing, injured sounds, gen repairs or progress. Could hear basic attack hits, pallet drops, pallet breaking, killer-specific sounds. Was playing Myers on Crotus Prenn Asylum and Freddy on Mother's Dwelling. Corrupt Intervention, Spirit Fury, and Enduring were used in both matches. First match (Myers) faintly played survivor sounds at times

  • It gets a little old, having killers, their perks, or their powers get nerfed or have a mass of suggestions calling for their nerfing. A lot of what people say is "X is too strong. It needs a drawback." First of all, a lot of stuff already has drawbacks. Pop has a measly 45 seconds to be used, and Adrenaline Vial massively reduces your turn rate. But those aren't enough in people's eyes; no, the

  • I don't know how people can say this perk isn't that impactful or that it's not OP. Literally wins survivors the game most of the time. Even SWF has to waste a little bit of time to find each other and heal, but with this perk, that's a nope. Not only can they heal themselves within a huge radius without a medkit, but they give each other a speed boost in the range too. It makes it to where hits

  • I hear constantly about camping on these forums, and while I think it's a bit overblown, I certainly haven't enjoyed the few times I've faced the kinds of camping killers people are describing, especially when I had no DS and my teammates had no BT. Leatherface is the most common one to play like this, especially when he's got Insidious, but I've seen others doing this like Huntress and Trapper.

  • Freddy used to be a well-rounded killer at the height of his strength, and it was mostly my inability to play him well that stopped me from liking him and, well, playing him. If it weren't for my solo teammates DC'ing against him or dropping like flies, I could have enjoyed playing against him, too. I do think he needed a few qol changes instead of the nerf he got. And now, reminiscing turns to

  • I don't think people fully realize the struggle that's going on in the killer playerbase. We've basically been trying to push all killers to viability, or as close as we can get, in any way we can. And when we say viable, we don't mean beating disorganized solos, we mean beating efficient SWFs. Some killers literally don't have the tools to beat those teams no matter how good you play, simple fac

  • What do you think of fps games? CoD? CS:GO? In those games, when you aim, it's instant. When that happens, and the other player dies, it's considered skillful. And you can disagree with that, but many more people are gonna be disagreeing with you, seeing as you're accusing them of having zero skill when they're getting loads of kills, and you're claiming you could easily do what they're doing, no

  • Is it just me or is it super hard to instantly hit survivors out of your instant tp? I teleport as soon as possible, with but maybe 1/3 of a second of delay at most, and the survivors are already running and further away than they should be. It's not even like they're trying to trip the traps. They're running right into them, or getting their camera spun, and still keep their full momentum and le

  • That's the reality of the low-mid tier killers against good teams. Nothing that happens before the gens are all done matters. It's just if you can maybe get a kill or 2 solely from NOED/No Way Out. There's no reason for you to get a kill at that point either, because they can cleanse NOED and wait out No Way Out, but their incompetence gives you kills anyway. If you don't have either of those per

  • I haven't been able to pip as killer, let alone black pip for a while now. The survivors aren't dying. I'm getting 1 or 2 kills only, and I shouldn't even be getting that if the survivors didn't play so stupid towards the end. Tell me: if 2k average is perfect, why do I depip for it? I know it doesn't mean as much nowadays since you can't lose grade from depips, but if the scoring system means an

  • I will say that my thinking on this game's balance is usually killer-centric, because it's the more fun role (ideally) to me, and I play it a lot. I think the role has a heck of a lot of issues that have needed addressing for years, and it hasn't happened yet. If you were to ask me if the game was survivor sided, my answer would always be yes. But that doesn't mean survivors don't have their own

  • Seriously. I don't know what it is, but like half the time I'm the first person to get killed, which rarely happens unless I'm camped/tunneled, my whole team suddenly acts like a switch has been turned on. Before, they couldn't be bothered to do gens, or stay healed, or do hexes, or refrain from repeatedly getting downed in the same area that we least need them to go down in, or respond appropria

  • Hit and leave a survivor, with CoH they heal up in like 8 seconds with a teammate or a little bit more alone. Hit them and aren't paying 100% attention, Shadow Step makes them disappear. Down and slug the survivor, Exponential gets them up. Hit a holding W survivor, they hold it some more because of Dark Theory. And these effects can all be combined, and you have to guess which ones are being com

  • For those who don't know what I'm talking about, I mean Head-On, Smash Hit, Parental Guidance, things like that. They're all based around timing a stun, which should be a risky action, and is for a lot of people, but for others they have zero risk, all reward. Their connection gives them that much of an advantage to where they can actually get value out of these otherwise meme tier perks consiste

  • I've had to stop using them. They're like hexes but worse. You can't use them if they're in bad spots, but at least with hexes the survivors actually have to cleanse them for you to not get to use your perk. Scourge Hooks perks are a complete waste a lot of the time. You'll get 0-1 uses of them the entire match. So why not just put them on all hooks? Why only 4 and always with bad RNG? Give me a

  • It's J Myers Memorial/Hair Bow/Bamboozle. Longer tier 3, achieved in a reasonable amount of time, actually has control in chase without being game breaking. Vanity Mirror turns him into an M1 killer which is too easy. If he wasn't, you'd see Legion and Pig 4King all the time because they're on the same level of M1-killerness. Tombstone Piece and Fragrant Tuft of Hair are just cheap or, for lack

  • The issue of bad hook spawns + hooks breaking forever (for whatever reason) shows its face all too often. When you can't hook somebody, not because you goofed around while carrying them, but because the nearest hook was a mile away, it feels like you've been cheated. Hook spawns don't take different floors, walls, or obstacles into account. And hooks also destroy themselves upon a sacrifice, so e

  • Imo Blight and his add-ons are completely fine. I think most people don't realize the hand eye coordination, skill, and juggling this killer takes. What's the point in complaining about Alchemist's Ring and Blighted Crow and stuff like that, if it's the same level of counterability as usual? "Blight's too fast with that add-on!" Admittedly, his chases sometimes don't give you room to breath. Kind

  • It's basically a proven fact at this point that if you have enough meta perks as survivor, you can overcome anything. Specifically Dead Hard gets you out of jams, or puts you in that much more of an advantage, more than the killer can possibly handle. You can't beat 3 health states on 3-4 survivors. It's impossible. Any time you get close to downing them, they can extend the chase by 30 seconds a

  • I felt absolutely powerless. Granted, I was on The Game, because that map has such a reputation for being balanced. All it was was holding forward and breaking pallets. My first chase, the survivor instantly dropped the first pallet they saw and I couldn't catch up to them as they looped around it even with Bloodlust (but sure, let's remove that mechanic). And I'm sure I'd have a similar experien

  • It's not that I believe that she's OP, let's get that straight. It's that your average solo queue teammates can't handle her. I don't know why. They just can't. So what I'm gonna do, because I see her often enough right now to justify it, is change up my build. Two things, I will not take off until the number of people playing her die down, if that ever does happen. One is a medkit. CoH will do

  • The nerf was 100% uncalled for. I like how I give the survivors a super big terror radius, that the killer wasn't intended to have, so they can hold forward before I even get there. The chases are something else entirely. Survivors can just hug walls and obstalces, even the ones you can shoot over, because his ADS is garbage. Quickscoping is the only thing that made him a threat in chase, and sto

  • She's not strong enough. All killers need to be Nurse/Blight level apparently to compete with the stronger teams. So let's do it. She needs to be able to place crows in walls, which only makes sense since her crows go through walls while in flight anyway. Her crows need not be waved off so fast. Even with the add-on to make it take longer, survivors are able to wave them off before you can even

  • Many people think that it's a necessity that hooks be destroyed permanently after a survivor gets sacrificed on it. I am not one of them. I think it's dumb that it happens, and that there's no good reason for it to be a thing. First of all, the devs have actually created mechanics contrary to this other mechanic of theirs. Old Hangman's Trick brought the hooks back. But more importantly basement

  • Solo queue, am I right? Only in DBD does on side have so much power and yet lets it all go to waste so consistently. It's like solos in Friday the 13th, but on steroids. They just don't wanna play, they don't wanna, they don't wanna do anything. And at some point you'd think that your overwhelming contribution to the team would count for something, and it just doesn't, because these teams are unc

  • Gen defence and info perks aren't really that good on their own. STBFL or NOED would be way better. Trust me. I play a lot of killer. But I still see those kinds of perks being played for some reason, and I think I've figured out why. It's pretty simple. Suboptimal survivors. BBQ, Discordance, Pop, Pain Resonance. These perks do almost nothing for you if you're facing a comp team, or even a half

  • I understand that people want Blight nerfed, although I disagree, because he's the strongest killer besides Nurse. But I've seen people citing the recent Adrenaline Vial buff as part of their argument. For example: "He's so strong, and then they gave him a buff!" He's strong, but not uncounterable, as I and others have shown countless times through gameplay. His Adrenaline Vial buff has nothing t

  • Killers are owed nothing. You're gonna be the survivor's plaything and you're gonna like it. Update after update it just gets worse. Pinhead nerf, Wraith nerf, Deathslinger nerf, Clown nerf, Twins nerf. All unreasonable. Survivors get weaker perks buffed to shift the meta, which doesn't work, and killers get stronger perks nerfed which destroys any 'meta' they had. Deathslinger quickscoping and

  • Complete detachment from reality. That's what the nerfing of this perk and add-on signify. A strong add-on made weak, and a weak perk made weaker. Pinkie Finger to me is the one add-on that (kind of) makes Clown viable, and is completely fair. Suddenly a killer who has to hit you with his basic attack twice, and with his power 4 times, to down you is hitting you once or twice with his power and

  • If you down 2 people, one after the other in quick succession, by the time you're done mori-ing one, the other is already up. The animations take so long that, other than playing around DS and flashlight saves, there is zero benefit to doing it instead of hooking the survivor. They're not just a pretty cosmetic thing; moris now actively hinder you when you use them. My suggestion? Shorten the an

  • I can handle BMing SWF at this point. They think they've done something special. Let them think that. I can handle survivor sided maps. I do poorly on them because they are poorly designed. I can handle not getting the 4k because of hatch, because it's designed to let a survivor escape for free. It's the little things that work against me throughout every game, that most people miss or can't rec

  • I'll try to keep this short. What I've found playing as killer is that some of the things I used to put value into, I don't anymore. The first thing is info perks. Everybody loves to run BBQ. I don't, never really did. Whether it's that perk, Discordance, Surveillance, I'm All Ears, the information doesn't matter if the survivors are pressuring you enough, or if you can't get them. • There's just so many bad killers in the game, and some who used to be better but I will no longer play because they've been nerfed. Right now I play Hag, Pig, Clown, Plague, Demogorgon, and Blight. Hag, Plague, Demogorgon, and Blight feel powerful and I can win with them. Pig and Clown are very weak, but I like how they play. That leaves 20 killers that I basically never play outside of dailies

  • Leatherface's ability to camp is OP. "Uncounterable" if I may, at least for the survivor on hook and their rescuers. Because his chainsaw goes through multiple survivors, instead of stopping after downing 1 like Hillbilly, he can guarantee a kill on someone as soon as they get hooked. You can punish the killer by having the remaining 3 survivors finish the gens and get out, but it just doesn't s

  • There's a million different examples of stuff across all maps that have ridiculous hitboxes. These usually allow the survivors to get around them with ease, but not the killer. The killer either gets stuck or their attack gets auto-aimed to the ridiculous hitbox. Want some examples? The harvesters on the farm maps. What has become of them? It used to be easy for killer to jump onto the hay bale

  • I've been on the Corrupt/Deadlock "milk bottle" I guess you could say for too long. Because what happens when I don't have those perks? The gens fly. Survivors spawn on gens, they do them, and by that time I've got 1 down max. So I'm basically starting the game at 2 gens. "But don't nerf gen speed! Survivors can't handle that! This is definitely a real statement!" Try playing above ash grade. You

It was undoubtedly a survivor-pandering killer nerf, but here's a few arguments I've seen to justify its existence. "You have to try to overheat." They're saying that the only way you're gonna overheat is by doing it on purpose. But as you know, that's not true, because i
