  • Buckle Up is usually at the bottom of people's tier lists because 1) SWF doesn't need it and 2) it isn't even good for solos. Why would you ever run the perk as it is now when there's so many better information perks? The only change I would make is to make the aura intensity reading have full-map range. By allowing the dying survivor's aura intensity to be read from anywhere instead of within 4

  • Enduring used to be a pretty decent perk. Spirit Fury/Enduring was a strong 2-perk combo until people found out you could counter it by simply dropping pallets early. It also was used to counter DS, turning a 5-second stun to a 3-second stun. But then they made it only work with pallet stuns and now nobody uses the perk. Why they did this, I will never know. That just set up DS to be the best sur

  • I am sick and tired of scratch marks not doing their job, therefore stopping me from doing mine. So many instances where I could see the survivor running in the distance, but when I get there, ZERO scratch marks. And then when they do show up, they're going in directions the survivor didn't even go, giving them huge distance on me for no reason. It literally costs you kills sometimes. It's crazy

  • After 5 minutes of waiting in the post-lobby loading screen, I just restarted the game. I don't know if this is a console thing or what. There should be a failsafe or something: if a game isn't loaded in 2 minutes, it gets cancelled. Imagine how annoyed the survivors were, because they have even longer wait times. And I'd better not get DC punished for this either!

  • Legion has been buffed and nerfed more than any other killer probably, which makes it hard to keep up with all the changes. But since when has using a basic attack decrease his ability's meter? I don't play him often, but I don't think that's been around too long. Was this a shadow nerf, was it in a ptb, or did I miss the announcement? Please fill me in and give me your opinions on this change. I

  • Before the Deathslinger PTB, Hangman's was useless. During it, the perk was extremely useful and used quite a bit. After, when we were given the finalized version, nobody plays it. Is a decent information perk too much to ask for? Yeah, we have Discordance and Surveillance and stuff, but that isn't the issue. The issue is WHY the PTB version of Hangman's never made it through? Was it "too powerfu

  • 'Hatch tech' is wrong, can we agree? It's not even a tech, it's a game breaking exploit. Robbed kills for the killer, free escapes for survivors. Just make it to when a survivor DCs and there was only 2 of them left, hatch doesn't spawn. Hatch is a feature that shouldn't be in the game anyway, it's so dumb. Is it too much to ask for my hard work to be rewarded? Why does getting down to 1 surviv

  • Decisive Strike as you know is the strongest survivor perk in the game for years now. True tunneling no longer exists because even if the killer downs the unhooked survivor, he can't pick them up. It can also be abused by jumping in lockers and other grab baiting moves. If the killer slugs the survivor, they have to stay around until the timer has expired and if so, they get gen rushed. The most

  • I swear their lunges out of using their powers used to be way, way better. Spirit and Nurse are so sluggish feeling without their power, and even the powerhouse Wraith feels the same. With Wraith, you just find a moderately strong window like the killer shack window, and you'll make his power useless. With Nurse and Spirit, it seems like you need just a little more distance and you would have hit

  • There's just too much power variability on the survivor side for killers not to have this ability. If I see 3 toolboxes in the lobby, I'm bringing a mori. But then at the end results screen, I see it was just brown toolboxes with no add-ons, instead of what I thought which was green toolboxes with BNP and stuff. Same with yellow flashlights compared to purple instablind ones with Odd Bulb and eve

  • They're so fast to open, it's crazy! Like why even have them at all? A big problem is the hatch, because if someone opened it using a key or there's just one survivor left, closing it automatically powers the gates. That's just stupid. Even when there's one survivor left, if they have their hand on the handle as soon as the gates are powered, it's basically a 50/50 to get to them in time. If the

  • For context in this discussion, I am a rank 1 killer on PS4. Right now, and hopefully also in the future if things go right, I am a Deathslinger main. From the day he was announced, I started training with Huntress to get good at a 110% (movement speed), ranged killer. My games with, like with Deathslinger, were hit or miss all around. One match I'd get a 4k, and the next I'd get a 1k. That prob

  • As a killer main I recently started getting back into survivor, and because of recent experiences have promised never to let myself de-rank again. The killers at ranks 10-20 are mostly bad at the game or bring a mori and tunnel every game. I've de-ranked 3 games in a row now because of these killers. If I had competent teammates, I would have been that killer's only kill, but you're never really

  • This game is in need of a total balance shift. As a red rank killer, I can get a 4k in one match and 0k in the next. One decent chase from a survivor is game ending for the killer. 3 gens can be done in the first 4 minutes, even with 'adequate pressure'. Some of your perks can actually be destroyed permanently by survivors (hex perks), and others can be negated altogether (ex: can't use Pop becau

  • Yes, this is a keys vs moris discussion. And we are talking about red rank level play. Now then, what makes moris so overpowered? They shave off almost 2 whole phases of survivor... survival. As a killer you chase a survivor, get looped, down them, hook them and then wait for them to get unhooked. Assuming that the survivor is not outpositioned and gets to a loop before the first hit, this chase

  • We complained a lot about the killer emblem system, specifically the gatekeeper emblem. The devs actually fixed it so that you didn't get bronze quality or less every single match. There are still dumb things that make you lose points though, and after playing survivor I've realized that both sides' emblem systems are screwed up. The thing that makes me mad is that you lose points for things that

  • DS has been nerfed, what, twice now? It's still the strongest survivor perk in the game. It's literally game breaking since survivors have a whole minute of invincibility, potentially allowing them to gens while injured and otherwise unsafe stuff like that. There are 2 different ways this affects how killers play. 1) A killer will get 0k-2k because half the time he downed someone, they still ha

  • I've been robbed of kills so many times because I can't close the hatch. I've heard that you have to be facing the hatch from a certain side to close it, but that's just stupid considering survivors can jump in from any angle. The game should also prioritize the killer if he and the survivor are standing on top of it as it opens. That's how it used to be, but killers having an advantage? Can't ha

  • Not a day goes by where I'm not perk shamed post game for using NOED. And it's always this presumption that "Killer has NOED, must have zero skill." A perk doesn't magically make you a baby killer who relies on it to get kills. That doesn't happen, because you still need to chase and down people, which is tough with all these survivor sided maps and gen rush. Getting kills in any way is skillful

  • It's seriously so stupid! If they luck off the hook or use Deliverance DS should not activate. DS is overpowered in general, but let's save that for another day. Especially in situations where you hook someone right next to an open exit gate, it's just a skilless crawl out the exit and if you pick them up and they get off anyway. That's not anti-tunnel. That's a free escape. Fix your game!

  • I can never ever see myself using Blood Echo. Nuff said, but I'll go into why I think this. It assumes that you always have multiple people injured, when let's be honest, you'll be lucky if 2 survivors are injured at any one time. It gives the affected survivors Hemorrhage of all ailments. Mangled would be so much better, it might even be a contender for Sloppy Butcher if that were the case. The

  • I honestly thought the Plague was a 110% movement speed killer. That's how slow her gameplay feels. I wanna say she doesn't need the slowdown when she's charging her puke, because you slow down just enough to where a survivor can loop you around a single crate and you will never puke on them. Which reminds me, her base puke sucks. You need crazy add-ons or a crazy amount of time puking on someone

  • There is zero reason that the Wraith cannot close the hatch while cloaked. He can kick gens and break pallets while cloaked, but not close the hatch? Why? And don't feed me "hatch stand offs" because it doesn't happen. If a killer sees the hatch, they close it immediately. This is one of many dumb limitations that killers in this game have.

  • I'd like to play with Deathslinger when he comes out and probably even main him because I love his asthetic, but as of right now I just can't see it. There is no reason he should be 110% movement speed like Huntress and Hag. He is literally Huntress with extra steps, plus you're not even guaranteed to hit a survivor once you've harpooned them. Getting chain break stunned is also gonna be game los

  • Instead of addressing Blendettes and camo clothes just give us a brightness option. I literally can't see people on the new Lery's or in the basement. Right now, we're deaf AND blind. Freddy's dream world gives mixed results, sometimes making maps clearer and sometimes making maps harder to see. Make dark maps for all I care, but don't sacrifice our sight for cool looks.

  • In the past week or 2 of getting back into DBD, I've had a mixed experience. I refuse to play survivor because the wait time is 3-5 minutes as opposed to killer's almost insta-join. I've become more numb to losing since usually there was little I could have done differently and still won. But also, I've been losing less. What's my new strategy? Slugging. I never do it from the get go, but when I'

  • If you get a 4k, consider yourself lucky, because that's what you are. Now, this is not a discussion about the difficulty of chasing, downing, and hooking survivors on a strict timer, as much as I'd love to rant about that. It is about the hatch, that lovely little feature that has robbed killers of almost as many kills as SWF has. Sometimes those things are used in the same match (scary, right?)

  • I hear a lot that, "NOED users have no skill", which is exaggerated and wrong. Then I hear, "What, do you need an insurance perk?" and that statement better defines how strong NOED is. But why is it so "overpowered" when compared to other killer perks, and I should add, survivor perks? Being a hex totem, NOED is naturally a throw away perk of survivors decide to cleanse totem, and with this gen s

  • When I first saw the rank reset changes, I was happy because it would help to end smurfing and get back to your true rank quicker. But now, I'm not sure I want that. The high ranks are so stressful in this game, especially for killer, and the rank reset was a perfect break from that. Now that's gonna be gone. I'll have to play sweaty every single match to do decent, because this game is one big c

  • I HATE having to button mash for more than a few seconds. It just isn't necessary, and it's not fun, it's just ######### annoying. It can even lead to you missing an input for half a second, and you die just like that. Just keep the struggle animation and it's the exact same except no tedious mashing.

  • I'm tired of the same old "u suck" or whatever more colorful insults survivors send my way post-game. I see it whether I beat them or they beat me, the only difference being that one instance is them thinking they're gods, and the other instance is that they need an excuse to justify them losing (which really they do, because survivors should never lose in this game's current state). It doesn't m

  • Listen, I don't think that Myers and Ghost Face are top tier by any means, but they're extremely polarizing to play against as survivor. Stalk killers are fundamentally flawed. If you ask me, stalking was a mistake, because all the killer has to do is stare at you for a second and BOOM insta-down. I have easy solutions for Myers and Ghost Face that should make them a little easier for survivors.

  • A while back, a change was made to where SWF would base it's matchmaking on the highest rank survivor. That way, the killer would be comforted knowing they were always going to go against people of their level. But apparently that's no longer the case. Now I'm facing full SWF red rank teams in mid-bottom purple ranks. I was even getting matched with red ranks when I was still in green ranks. Thos

  • I am a rank 6 killer and around the same rank of survivor, and I have to say that the 2 ways of playing or like night and day. As survivor, it's about a 50/50 whether or not you escape. It's pretty chill, especially surviving with friends. Playing killer on the other hand? I don't see any reason to play it at high ranks. It's just stress and rage as you go into every match knowing that you're gon

  • Keys are just another nail in the coffin as to why it's unfun to play killer a lot of the time. I've accepted that the hatch is always gonna be a thing even though I initially thought it was a stupid idea, but keys are the real stupid idea. They were supposed to be in the game for a limited time (which was a lie) and toxic SWF teams are all the more grateful that they weren't. They know that they
