  • I'm so tired of seeing this OP perk. If all 4 survivors have Dead Hards they're almost unbeatable. It's used as basically a third health state, which is insane. And while survivors with bad connections are locked out of using it in this way, we're not gonna take that into account because that's a different issue. "But you can bait it out." Not all the time. PC survivors will literally have a macr

  • Why can't I hit survivors even though I'm aiming straight at them and they don't strafe? It's like the harpoon is going through their body. I thought these new animations were supposed to help with bad hits! Maybe it's Deathslinger's max range but I don't think these shots have been from THAT far away. It's infuriating when chases get hyper extended and kills are lost due to bad hit detection. Yo

But that's just my best guess because I really don't know what's going on in people's heads. These new injured animations... there's simply nothing wrong with them. I don't know what else to say. • I've never seen such a mobilization of the community because of something so small. Yes, nobody asked for a UI change. Yes, it's all over the place. But I've already adjusted to it, and that means pretty much anyone can. If you need to see the information quickly, make it bigger. The new UI allows you to change the size of things. It's easy to tell when someone's injured, deep wounded, broken, et

  • The killer can see the entity blocker, but survivors can't, so they have only educated guesses as to when they get pushed out into the end results screen. On most maps that have been out forever that have the traditional exit gate look, we know generally what that point is. But on maps with different looking exit areas like Dead Dawg Saloon and Midwich, it isn't that clear. People constantly get

  • The glorified participation trophy, hatch, is still in the game. It has the same problem as DS. The survivor gets a 2nd chance from just existing. Do no gens, tbag all game, your chases last single digits of time: none of it matters. You happened to be last, so you get out. And in the race to the hatch, the killer is not favored. The survivor can press a button in its general vicinity and get vac

  • I just started getting the feel of Pyramid Head, because previously I sucked with him, and I noticed a glaring issue of his. His cages literally act as a survivor sided mechanic sometimes. They teleport right next to someone on a gen, or right next to a 99'd exit gate. I think they should spawn a set distance from another survivor, so it's not an instant unhook, and they actually have to do work

  • There's 4 survivors and 1 killer, right? But there's also spectators. I just want to know the upper limit of how many people can be in a single lobby, including spectators. It would be cool to have a bunch of people spectating. It's unfortunate too, I think the Doom 3 -esq camera shake got taken away, from when you spectate the killer, in an update a while back.

  • After playing what feels like 100+ games with Trapper over the past few weeks, I am totally burned out of him. I am happy to say that he is the first killer I have gotten to Prestige III. I could have done it a long time ago, but I like to use up all of my add-ons first. That included using the padded jaws, which surprisingly didn't affect my kill rate that much, still getting 3ks and 4ks mostly.

Who cares either way, because the report system on PS4 is garbage and I couldn't submit a ticket even if I wanted to! Full-map instablinds, fair and balanced! • I think when even pink add-ons don't make a killer feel strong, the killer has serious problems. Think about how little they do in the grand scheme of things. The iridescent stone is the 'stronger' of the 2, since every 30 seconds a trap gets automatically set. You can't do mindgames with your traps like you'd think. You know, the dream scenario of a trap getting reset mid chase and the survivor

  • This is something I've been wondering all day. I guess the best way to address this is with a comparison between DBD and Friday the 13th. In Friday the 13th, you can practically stun lock the counselors after each hit. That's not what I want in this game, but it puts into perspective how much time killers spend catching up to survivors. Chases in this game last a long time, especially for M1 kil

  • Not only is hatch a shortcut around the survivor objective with a key, but it's also a participation trophy. It opens if all gens get done, it opens if no gens get done. But according to popular opinion, it is the best endgame mechanic and is flawless in every way. Riddle me this though: Why does it open after a gate has been opened? Hatch is supposed to be there because "Oh no! What will the poo

  • His roaring when he gets into his blood fury is way too loud! Why does he even need to do that on the menu? It's cool and all but if you're gonna make him so dang loud, I'm less inclined to play him. It's like that bad patch for Hillbilly where his chainsaw was deafening. Even Oni's breathing in the pre-game lobby is loud. And if I turn sounds down, I can't hear survivors so don't give me that.

  • It's supposed to decrease the distance between hooks, but they seem even further apart! You lose 1 hook via sacrifice and that whole corner of the map becomes a dead zone. I know the word 'slightly' has become a bit of meme in offering descriptions, because it usually means there's almost no change. But still, it's almost like the offering has the reverse effect of what it says. I'm tired of havi

  • This can't even be called a rework. More like a survivor buff. Purple gas stays the same, but now we have yellow bottles! Guess what they do? Speed up a "player". So survivors get a speed boost off of the Clown's new ability! 🤡 Amazing. I was cracking up, honestly, on the part of the dev tapes where they were saying, "The gas is an incentive to push survivors to areas you want them to go to!" As

  • Both killer and survivor, you're waiting like 5 minutes to get into a lobby. How is it still like this after all this time? Imagine how it feels to wait all that time only for someone to DC as the match is loading, or worse, they DC in-game. It's bound to turn a lot of people off from playing. I would hope that the game has more people playing in the world right now than the que times would have

  • If I had to sum up the player report process with one word it would be "unacceptable". There is no section in the forums to report people like there should be. If you don't want to name and shame someone, simply make it an anonymous post that only the mods can see. So simple, yet it hasn't been done. Instead here's what you do: Report the person in-game, then go to settings and customer support

  • It's our good old Meyers perk: Play With Your Food. Before you get stunned with DS, either from a locker or picking someone up, you have a sliver of time to turn your camera. Use that time to face a direction you'll think they'll run in front of so you'll start a chase on the obsession while stunned. Then you leave them and you're 5% faster. I also use Nemesis to make it more consistent and STBFL

  • Remember the good old days when Surge actually gave you notifications as to which gens you had hit? I do. Now it's just guesswork. Did I hit 1 gen or 3 gens? No idea, because all I see is the cooldown begin. Way too long of a cooldown btw. It just seems like killer perks that are actually decent at gen regression or giving you information, or both, have been nerfed too much in recent times.

  • The next time someone has the guts in post-game chat to call me a garbage killer who needs to get good, I'm gonna do exactly what I did tonight: pick up the Twins and slug everyone in the next match. I like to call it a revenge match. You may say "but those survivors didn't do anything to you!" You can't fault me for this because there is no rematch button, so it must be a new set of survivors I

  • This is just awful. Any time I pick up Legion for a daily or some other reason I always do badly. If I want a stressful game I'll just pick him. He has like zero map pressure, his ability is simply to injure, and he gets aim dressed all the time. Even Trapper is better than him because survivors can get cocky and you snowball on them. Legion has nothing like that. The only good slowdown perk on L

  • You'll rarely have an easy killer match on that map. The biggest issue to me is that all the houses you can go in are strong loops that can be used over and over. The gates are also some of the hardest in the game to patrol, and that's after the gens get done but it's worth mentioning. There's tons of safe pallets, and there's even more when you're a 110% killer. The gens are also quite far apart

  • This game has a serious problem in that solos are too easy for killer and SWF are too hard. That's why, when I play killer, I'm gonna dodge if I see all survivors are my platform or all of them are from another platform. I have to assume they're a 4-man SWF, which is a very miserable experience playing against. If there's 3 and 1, I'll humor it because it might be hard but is almost close to a fa

Do you even realize how long a 5-second stun is in this game? It feels like 2 years! • Hatch should never open when there is 1 survivor left and the exits are already powered. The survivor has, not 1, not 2, but 3 outs! The killer is torn between patrolling the exit gates AND looking for hatch, in which case 90% of the time the survivor is escaping. It's a psuedo-unwinnable situation for the killer, and I don't know why it is in the game.

  • My SWF have been doing this lately and I'd like to share it because it's kind of genius. You equip Plunderer's and Appraisal (Ace in the whole is optional), put up a coin and/or blueprint offering to create more chests and determine the hatch spawn point, do the gens, find the hatch, and you're out. It's tough to give up the 2 perk slots, but your other 2 can just be the classic DS/Dead Hard. It'

  • This is unacceptable. One match feels unwinnable, the next feels like a walk in the park. For killer and solo survivor this is true. SWF is the only semi-exception because you have control over how good your teammates are. Add more ranks if you must. Expand it to rank 40 or something. There's too many weak players getting matched with strong players. Balancing becomes impossible when you factor

  • It's that one Nurse add-on all over again. The display of where you're gonna pounce is so blinding and distracting that it hurts you to use. And then half the time, the spot is misleading, just like Nurse's. It's one of those add-ons I'd like to have replaced with an add-on that actually helps you.

  • Remember when instaheals were nerfed and survivors got like a week or more, before they were actually nerfed, to capitalize on using all their un-nerfed instaheals? I sure do. You couldn't find a match without 1-3 instaheals. But guess what happened when moris got nerfed? No heads up, just insta-nerfed. So game breaking survivor sided things get to stay in the game until the devs "get around to

  • Decisive Strike is a polarizing perk, so what I'm about to suggest may ruffle some feathers. My first change would be to give the killer a notification that someone has DS. When standing over a downed survivor or standing in front of a locker, the DS symbol will be in the middle of the screen similar to how the little mori symbol appears. If you've been playing long enough, the old controversy w

  • I know the player themselves aren't standing still with her, because they're controlling Victor, but shouldn't Insidious still activate because she's not moving? I think it should. That way Insidious would actually be viable on her since it is a semi good replacement for the pink add-on that makes you undetectable when you switch back to her.

  • Where's my Myers-style instamori after a certain amount of hooks? Or how about no hooks? Just give it to killers at baseline. Does that seem too overpowered to you? Not to me. It's no more overpowered than hatch is. Unashamedly I will say, "Yes. I do want the 4k all the time." Doesn't everybody? Don't all survivors want to escape every time? Of course we want those things. • This map is heavily survivor favored. I can't imagine this map having been playtested nearly as much as it should have. The gens are too far apart, the lighting makes survivors hard to see, and there are tons of safe loops. There's no pressuring these gens; you will get gen rushed against any decent team. They're simply too far apart, and most are right next to those unmindgameable pallets. You

But now it's even worse because he barely suffers any cooldown, so he can spam it until he hits. Deathslinger and Huntress can also option select, but they need to reload and their projectiles don't go *thro
