I’ve searched for this answer online before and the only responses I’ve found are that it was to stop hackers giving themselves a ridiculous amount of BP and / or it was to make people feel like they have to grind to unlock things down the line. Can we please stop this whole Console VS PC war? It’s becoming tiring, fast. I’ve been playing on PS4 and I haven’t noticed any difference. I’ve played as survivor and killer since the cross play was implemented and I know for a fact I’ve faced PC killers and I didn’t find them any more difficult or easier than a console killer. So as we all know, when there’s no Obsession in a match that means there’s no DS. This got me wondering, do you as a killer play differently when you notice there’s not an Obsession? Would you be more likely to tunnel somebody down and pick them back up as you don’t have to worry about DS or does your play style not change? So I was watching some Monto videos last night whilst I was in bed and I came across his Adept Legion one. I completely forgot that Legion used to be able to down with FF if you hit the survivor a third time before they mended. Why was this removed? Was it deemed OP?. There should be an offering called “Petrified Survivors” which stops the killer from spawning into the match. This way the survivors have time to get every generator repaired, every totem cleansed and every chest searched without fear of being camped and / or tunnelled. One thing I’ve never fully understood is why so many people complain about being matched with or against players with ranks either higher or lower than theirs. Isn’t that how every online game works? Another multiplayer game I play a lot is TLOU and the maximum rank you can be is 999. You’ll never find a lobby of just 999’s. It’s always mixed. So last night I was playing a lot of survivor and in one game I was against a Spirit, she chased a Jane at the very start of the match and either gave up chasing or lost her. The Jane didn’t have Iron Will and the Spirit was using Stridor so I’m assuming she just gave up. She then proceeded to chase me and again, presumably gave up. So my idea for this chapter would be for Sam and Dean to be released as survivors without a killer. Similar to what happened with Ash. I tried to make their perks represent their personalities and also have synergy with each other’s. After all, they are brothers so it’s only fair they have perks that would work well together. This may just be a really strange coincidence but every match I’ve had today as survivor has resulted in me playing maps twice in a row. No matter what the map / variant is, I’ll play it twice. The reason I ask this is because she already has a perk (Balanced Landing) that refers to her as having cat-like reflexes and I noticed that she has a cosmetic that has the exact same cat from the Spine Chill perk. Since when did this perk start activating even when an exit gate was closed? I purposely didn’t open my gate as I knew the killer had it, I opened it after they had hooked somebody and came towards me yet the exit was still sealed off? I started playing this game back in 2017 and for the first year I was strictly a survivor main. I just found it to be scarier and more intense being a survivor, but when I started to become a good player the game started to lose a lot of the horror aspect for me and I found myself becoming bored in some games. If Calm Spirit can counter Doctors power, why doesn’t No Mither work against The Oni? It says you leave no pools of blood, so why do you still leave blood orbs? It just seems like an oversight to me. I mean, sure if you had an entire team of people running No Mither he wouldn’t be able to use his ability, but why does it matter? He’s going against an entire team of one hit downs. What is the point of having both of these perks in the game? And why is Spine Chill so much stronger? That lets you know when the killer is looking at you, which is viable information, it basically increases the speed in which you do every action and it doesn’t have a cool down. I just had a match as Ghostface where I could tell that this Blendette was using Spine Chill because whenever I was approaching a gen she was on she’d be long gone before I got there. It gets down to two survivors left. The Blendette and a David. I down and slug the David and go looking for the Blendette. I’m a very altruistic player and I personally would rather get myself killed so that the rest of the team can escape than leave a man behind. However, not everybody plays like this, which is fine. The problem I have is when people will leave you to go into struggle and sometimes die on your first hook. I’ve just had a match where there were 3 gens left standing and two survivors left. Both were playing as the stereotypical Claudette (brown clothes, Urban Evasion and Spine Chill) and I was probably circulating the map for a solid 10 minutes before I eventually found one of them. This was probably the most satisfying win I’ve had as a killer thus far. Finally got the chance to play as him and after around 4 hours of playing, I think I have a new favourite killer. I play a lot of FPS, so he’s perfect for me. I’m winning 90% of my matches and even the ones I don’t win, I’m having the most fun I’ve had as killer in a long time. I’m hoping nothing gets nerfed on him as he’s honestly such a strong killer. I could understand its place in the game if the basement always spawned there, or if the killer always spawned there, but as we all know, this isn’t the case. Plus it’s super fun running around as a bright pink fluffy elephant.
