What if... Hear me out. Killers were able to use more than one of the same hex perk. If they so wanted they could run 4 Devour Hopes. Obviously the effects wouldn't stack. But it would absolutely motivate the bone hunt that's for sure.2 comments 21 views last activity

I've been playing solo survivor this week and it's been a strange experience overall, sometimes we have really good games with great plays, othertimes I die on first hook because nobody wants to save me. Some feeling of betrayal as I unhook everyone and then they leave me for dead. It's an emotional roller coaster honestly. I know it's not a unique idea by any measure with how popular Walking Dead is and especially considering that we have Resident Evil now to fill the Zombie quota but I'd like to hear thoughts about it all the same. Throughout the course of the game he kept unhooking survivors right next to me without BT and slip away instead of taking the hit. Additionally he sandbagged vaults (I don't think on purpose) on a few occasions too. My boy was trying to get his entire squad killed like a proper Chris Redfield straight out of the game. I've been running a Knockout/Third Seal/STBFL/Nurse's Calling build on Pig with Blindness/Exhaustion addons on pig. At first I was kind of memeing but holy crap this is insanely powerful. I love playing as pig, but I depipped from Rank 2 to 9 when I was only playing her several months ago. Sometimes it sucks to be on the losing end, it can be downright tilting. But sometimes you can just respect the skill or audacity of the opposing side so much that you're just happy for them that it worked out. One example for me is every time my Noed or Devour totem gets removed right before I lunge/mori feels amazing. Like, "one second later you would be dead. The entity must love you." I wanted to present an idea that I rarely (maybe never) see suggested. For example, you're in a SWF that's absolutely dominating a killer, or if the game just isn't going super well for them and the gens are just flying on by before they can even get so much as few hooks states. I've been running into a problem lately. I've been playing with some friends, and while I'm not god at DBD, I find a lot of times I am significantly better at looping and being chased than they are. Barring me being a complete dumbass I find I can keep a chase going 20-30 seconds longer than them, sometimes more if on a good map. I just got ghost face to pick up 'I'm all Ears' and played a few rounds with him for fun. Somehow getting into the mindset of ghost face is a total delight compared to other killers. If I play Spirit then I'm probably sweating a bit, and then I'll get toxicity at the end. Now that key and stridor spirit are being nerfed what do you think people are going to identify as the next big problem ruining this game (that was totally fine until just now.) Every game there's at least one person who thinks some aspects of the way the killer plays is scummy, bullshit, unfun or toxic. Every game we either win, we dominate and feel kind of bad, or we lose someone/wipe and the killer is a piece of ######### somehow. Gone from a rank 2 to a rank 5. Been a pretty demoralizing game session goodness gracious. I don't even know what I'm doing so wrong, but it seems like even if the killer only gets a 1k or a 3k, I'm always included in the death. Even had one where I got assblasted with a pig wielding noed right at the exit gate. I'm in a weird situation as a survivor. I don't know what rank I am really supposed to be. My friend assures me swears up and down I play like a Red Rank, and the game agrees that I am actually a Red Rank now. However lots of times when I'm playing against Red Rank killers they will absolutely dominate me. Trying a new way to play where I just hook everyone twice then everyone goes home. Wish there was an added effect that involved the person with Iron Will being able to slap the other survivor and tell them "Shut the hell up." I keep running into situations where people try to heal me and it's absolutely impossible to get free. It's absolutely destroyed games for me where say I'm on death hook, the killer is coming and someone manages to start healing me. Thought it would be fun to play a game. Simple concept. Respond to the person before you how you would give 1 nerf and 1 buff to the thing they stated. After responding you name a killer, survivor, addon, item or perk and wait for someone to respond to yours. I know this thread is beating a dead horse but this has gotten especially frustrating the past week for me. When you first start the game you are a grey rank. Then you get matched with a ton of Yellow Rank survivors. Well that makes sense, it won't take much effort to get good enough to hit Yellow rank.
