This feels like such a conflict of interest, on more than one occasion I've debated whether or not to cleanse a lit totem.
Sometimes I see a killer slug a person and think I might get the same luck and that the totem should stay up.

It's really not worth keeping a hex up just for the sake of getting soul guard's unbreakable effect.
When pinhead came out and the surge of plaything started I ran spinechill, and soul guard and just left my totem up.
Unless it's thrill of the hunt lol
There's a few hexes you can ignore, but no one runs them.
Blood Favor, Crowd Control, Retribution.
