Just played three matches consecutively where the killer camped then tunneled after unhook. To all killer mains, why use this strategy? As a survivor main, camping and tunneling feels unfun & therefore monotonous, to say the least. If anybody pledges to this gameplay style please explain why, as I may be missing the point.

There is no point other than they are bad at game, lack skill, and are completely focused on their fun only. Most are very young and aren’t able to take into account the game being fun or balanced for everyone. Good post, but they’ll mob you for daring to call this play style out …..or give awful excuses.

So after like a year of begging my friend FINALLY installed dbd. The game is right up his alley but he refuses to watch any videos on the game or even play the dang tutorial so hes running around like a chicken with no head. I know that he would love the game if he just gave it more effort but he won't, does anyone have any ideas of how to get him to put more effort into the game or maybe just something to say to him so he knows what he's doing? I'm not good at explaining things so I can't even try to explain it to him myself.

Tell him to avoid it if he values happiness. Especially now with the state the game is in.

  • @Kate_Main_01 said:

This is not a thread debating the tactical viability of tunneling. The devs themselves have said that tunneling is acceptable. It is what it is.

What I'm wondering is if anybody else is noticing a huge spike in it lately? I've seen it constantly the past two weeks. I played 8 rounds tonight and was tunneled in literally 4 of them. In this last round it was so bad that the three other Survivors (no hooks, no damage) were even running in front of him to try and draw his attention and body block and he just chased me down and ran around them, hitting them only if he needed to get to me.

I don't understand why this is suddenly what a majority of my matches have become. Red rank Killers, most are Xbox or PC (I just know because it shows they aren't on PS4/5).

Oh yes. It’s like they all do it now. All with the same perks too.

Like how you wasted your time - telling a bunch of strangers that you aren't playing a game any more?

Yet you responded. Pot meet kettle.

I was just standing there, minding my own business, defending my totem, not hurting anyone. Yes, I was trying to lull you all into a false sense of security before end game blood warden play but you didn't know that.

You walked down the hallway, heard my snarls, no visibility, no bells, then BANG. Stun/blind/lightburn. This painted a big target on your back, you were safe, you may have survived if you left me alone and had a possible escaped.

This infuriated the wraith so I chased you down, hooked you, camped you, tunnelled you, killed you. All you had to do was play nice. Sorry I had to take one of your team mates with you, they did not deserve their fate, they did nothing but blood warden was in play and I was not letting it go to waste. The other two had sense and left fairly quickly, if you had not imposed upon my serenity you could have joined them.

I hope this teaches you to let killers be if they are not harming anyone at that point and you were unaware of my plan, I could have just been afk for irl reasons.

To all other survivors, beware timid killers you never know what they are planning but if you cross them they will take you out no matter what :p

This place gets weirder and weirder.

Survivor mains are starting to leave the game. This is because of the all strong killers and strong meta perks out there like Corrupt Intervention, Ruin + Undying, Tinkerer, Discordance, Bamboozle, Pop Goes The Weasel and more.

As for the killers people leave the game because of Blight, Nurse, Spirit, Huntress, Deathslinger and Hag ( basically all strong and unfair killers).

You can counter survivor meta EXTREMELY EASY. For example:

Borrowed Time; Go for the unhooker

    Decisive Strike; Dont tunnel

    Unbreakable; Dont Slug

    Dead Hard; Bait it.

Killer meta perks on the other hand are harder to counter.

You cant counter Tinkerer, you cant counter Pop Goes The Weasel, you can counter Ruin + Undying but it takes so much time. You can counter NOED but it takes so much time, you cant counter bamboozle.

As you can see there are a lot of survivor perks that can be countered so easily. but you cant counter most of the killer perks. Survivors are running out of resources and some survivor perks are nerfed already (Decisive Strike, Borrowed time etc.) These are the reasons why survivors are starting to leave the game. And honestly, I hope they focus on the survivors instead of the killers. Because killer perks are starting to get strong and killers are becoming so unfun and boring to play against (Especially Deathslinger). So yeah i hope they do something about this.

It’s true. Nobody wants to play a sheep for the enjoyment of one player to insta kill. The killer players have become so entitled and just toxic that they can’t or won’t even acknowledge the truth.

Very few new survivor players last past the first week. It’s just not a fun experience. Even at rank 4 I’m told I just need to get better or it’s my fault if I lose (never fails). The biggest issue bhvr has is their forums and feedback all comes from killer mains who bully survivors out of stating opinions. Look at this forum alone and tell me I’m wrong.

  • @WexlerWendigo said:

So, a lot of survivors right now are feeling frustrated when they wait forever in the queue, only to spend the whole game on the hook, or with the killer on them 24/7 trying to secure their kill. On the other hand, killers are struggling to apply pressure with four survivors, as currently the game heavily punishes killers for not getting sacrifices.

The game needs to encourage and actively reward players for not tunnelling, by way of not only BP, but in the ranking system. Hooking all 4 survivors should contribute towards pipping, and you could take this even further by rewarding killers for hooking all survivors before 3 generators are completed for example.

This would make playing survivor more pleasant, but also give killers the choice to not have to play in such a scummy way that the meta currently demands.

I’m sure some people will complain about the fact that this will likely lower the kill rate. The thing is though, I think reducing kill rates is worth making the game much more healthy, and less sweaty for BOTH sides. Whenever you killer someone with the system, let alone the whole team, would feel like a much bigger achievement than right now, and puts more focus on the 1v1, rather than 4v1 which can be very overwhelming as killer. This is just an idea though, as I think there needs to be effort put in to make the game less toxic.

Agreed. I think a survivors hook time meter should freeze if a killer is within so many meters. So many killer players only care about a 4K and their gaming experience, and then play victim when called out. Hate to see it. Good post.

Do the devs ever even bother doing anything about these kinds of players? I've been playing since patch 2.8.0 and people like this have always been around and been frustrating. I don't think a single thing has been done by the devs since I started playing to punish or discourage people from playing like this. I understand DBD can be a pretty toxic game and its just kinda accepted by the community, but their comes a point when it just starts being frustrating as all hell and I wish the devs would a put a little more effort into punishing people who do stuff like this. The same goes for leavers and with the DC penalty gone at the moment people are DCing more than ever. Am I the only who feels this way or does anyone else feel the same way?

Side note, this was a solo game and I wasn't tea bagging or being toxic. I almost have a 1000 hours in the game at this point so I can assure you this isn't my first time encountering people working together just at a point where I've had enough of people leaving and teamming and ruining the game for the rest of us, as killers or survivors.

It’s awful I know. Only in dbd can one cranky player take the entire game hostage, and feel entitled to do so. All survivors feel this way but sadly, this is a killer main forum so you’ll likely be attacked for even saying anything about killer play styles. I get it though,

  • @ITSCJ46 said:

Can we pls just move on without NOED, there is no legitimate defence you can say to keep this perk, it literally rewards bad killers with free kills, it rewards them for not doing their objective in the first place, I've just had 2 games in a row (and probably hundreds in the past) where we get all the gens done and we're all good and the killer gets 1-3 kills cause of NOED.

we all know this is true, despite the feedback you’ll likely get saying it’s up to YOU to cleanse all totems blah blah. Noed is a crutch, game breaking perk gig unskilled killers. Periodt.

We're hoping this update will also help performance on the Raccoon City Police Station map, but we want to ensure it is stable enough to be reinstated for live games. We will be monitoring how the map is doing in custom games with these new changes and provide you all with an update soon.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to work on further improvements to the game’s performance!

We have reduced the overall visual quality on Switch to help improve performance. The game may still crash when played on the Raccoon City Police Station map, but less frequently. Rest assured, we are still working on ensuring that the new map does not crash on this platform.

Lmao it's been literal weeks since the patch came out and we STILL can't play on the new map. I'm also loving the "the map will still crash, but chill out it's not that bad" mentality. Why even push the patch out?

There are a bunch of minor bug fixes that probably affected some people but as far as I can see, this hotfix only did one thing.

Fixed an issue where completing a tutorial match with bots would cause customization and perks to be unequipped for all characters.

Fixing the tutorial that punished people for wanting to learn how to play the game and earn bloodpoints. What a joke of a patch -_-

Bhvr is acutely aware they don’t have to fix anything. They have the monopoly on this game style, and until another company comes out with something that can compete, bhvr has no reason to sweat anything…..and it shows.

  • @DanielPaint said:

Okay sorry but now it's just annoying. After all these bugs since the updates, all these posts here the devs are still quiet.....

They don't learn from the past and it shows that this game is doomed. Big problems are still getting ignored, feedback is getting ignored, no informations for us. The only thing we get are more and more bugs, errors, performance issues and bad chapters to press money out of us.

Why would they answer? They know that this only game of its kind and you all aren’t going anywhere. Plus people complain all the time about every little thing. I’m sure they’re working on it but are over catering to the player base.

  • @mdg2018 said:

So DBD is adding bots into the game I was excited about this until I saw it was only for tutorial purposes. Like why couldn’t it have been an offline mode??. And hopefully its you don't only play as trapper and one of the first 4 survivors like it would be cool if the bots mode was offline and you could pick whatever killer or survivor you own and do fun matches alone and not have to worry about toxic players and crybaby players that take this game wayyyyyy to seriously. Hopefully what the PTB has isn’t the final version of bots

I think they’re testing it out to eventually put bots in when a player dcs in actual games.

Is there anything survivors do that doesn’t warrant toxic killer play styles? I mean let’s be real. Doing a gen at start of match is “gen rushing” lol. Running away is now somehow toxic. A map offering is bming. See where I’m going with this? 🤦‍♂️

(As a heads up, all names and people talked about will remain anonymous out of respect)

So, I was scrolling through Twitter this morning, minding my own business, when I came across some mutuals talking about the current state of the game. To this standard, I usually just scroll past and move on with my day. However, it seems that a majority of people are debating about the current state of wraith. Ever since the Wraith buff (whatever update that was), people seem to feel that he's either too strong or much playable.

However, I saw that some people feel the speed boost while cloaked seemed to be removed/lowered back to where it was before. (Some even feel like he shouldn't have the ability to swing after uncloaking, with the speed boost as well needing to be lowered).

What do you all think of the current state of Wraith? Do you feel as he's in a good state or that he should have a few changes? To me, I see one Wraith every few weeks if I'm lucky, so I don't have as much of an opinion on him, considering I mainly play ranged killers.

(This isn't meant to start anything or send hate. I'm just completely curious on what the community thinks of him as of now)

Annoying lol. I can’t stand wraith honestly. This all started when a certain narcissist streamer with a complex started complaining circa 2016 I think, and he’s still doing it to this day. He plays wraith and blames all game mistakes on swf or killers being underpowered. Fact is though, he’s just not able to lose or acknowledge his own errors.

  • I’m sure you all will get your way and they’ll nerf them into the ground, and then you’ll find something else to blame for being bad at the game or having to actually try in a match.

Lightborn was one of those perks that hardly anybody ran because devoting an entire perk to a flashlight stun - which may or may not happen - seemed pointless. But thanks to Resident Evil there are now flashbangs and blast mines, both of which have become popular survivor perks to use. Thanks to Lightborn not only are you immune to the blindness from these perks, but seeing the aura of the person that set a blast mine or tossed a flashbang at you is ridiculously effective!

Yep, lots of killer perks getting unintentional buffs. Pretty soon all killers will get instant 4K games no matter the hours or ranks. I dunno bout you, but I’m super excited.

  • @sulaiman said:

I had just a game at hawkings lab, where i finished the top gen (the last one to go) and then was trapped in that room by another survivor. The others opend the gate and left, the survivor just held me trapped and got me killed. The killer came, watched, and did nothing.

Is it reporable for either of them? If yes, where do i need to send the video evidense?

Lol that is awful. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

  • The ones you mentioned are the issues. Every map that gets reworked comes back better for killers and much worse for survivors. Less pallets, windows gone or boarded up, and these weird dead zones with nothing. Like farm maps. There’s 3-4 sections with just hay and teepees. With a faster killer and range attacks, those areas are a death sentence.

Why do people call it camping when I hook one of the last two survivors and wait at this hook. What do they expect me to do? Search the whole map for a single survivor and most likely let go of the third kill?

Does anyone have any tips or tricks to be better with her? I’m in red ranks btw

The only killer I have no issue getting completely decimated by is the nurse. I respect a good nurse. This is a killer that actually takes skill and hours put in to get good. That’s why you see so few of them, but when I do, I’m always impressed. I say give it a go and stick with it.

  • @Shaped said:

I mean I got used to it but I still don't understand this. I don't bm or do anything that is legit toxic and people are still mad.

It’s not your fault completely. It’s bhvr for creating killers that are too strong, too fast, while removing more and more parts of the game for survivors.

building a killer for red ranks means 16 other ranks are getting shafted. That’s why.

  • @traviszenryo said:

after being hit with this perk one day 7 times in a match i had to wonder is it too strong, its understandable to be blinded or stunned but why both ? even that's not bad what's terrible is you stay stunned basically the same as being hit with ds or head on , but the gen doesn't even break so you have to waste more time kicking it again. my suggestion is making it activate after the kick so you break the gen get blinded and stunned, but then can be on your way. i think its a perfectly fair and balanced trade that way

No. It’s a short stun and blind. I think it’s more a meme perk than anything.

  • Feel better? Maybe write a letter or start journaling.

  • @ShinobuSK said:

And what killers do you consider fun to play against?

none. The killers themselves aren’t the issue, but the human playing that tends to be the issue. Too many entitled teenagers who want a 4K at all costs and then cry when it doesn’t work out.

  • @Jago said:

    Just by curiosity.

Since the penalty has been removed, I feel like the DC button is being bullied.

I think it’s a reflection on just how unhappy survivor players are. Instead of focusing on the penalty, the devs should figure out why one portion of their player base opts out of so many games. I know 8/10 games I play are miserable and i am not a newbie.

  • @Gnarly said:

The FPS and Lag on consoles are clearly being screwed over. People on PC use Dead Hard and I lose ground on them as a killer, if I use it, I lose ground as a survivor. Both instances are against PC players, because 99% people are playing rn are on PC...cuz consoles is unplayable...FIX IT

They really messed up some core functions with this new chapter. I hope they get it corrected soon.

  • I think they’re going to cut all maps down to just 4 corners, some rocks, and a few trees. That way you can see everyone and catch them with zero effort. Survivors are so entitled. Nothing makes me angrier than them trying to do their objective, or when they run away. Like, hello, why should I have to chase people? Devs don’t care about killers. Smh

  • @WexlerWendigo said:

Just had a game where two teammates dced near the start after going down, although I wasn’t too mad since it was a dead dawg offering, which yawnnnn. After that, the blight was slugging for the 4k like two minutes in and playing like it was a competitive tournament, when it was literally a 2v1 at 5 gens.

I managed to crawl out through the hatch, but I still depipped, which is such a joke. Why are we still depipping because our teammates are dcing at the start of the game?

That’s why people dc. Killers who refuse to let others enjoy the game, horrible maps, and it also depends on killer. As a survivor you can get a sense at start of a match the energy the killer is putting out. Most seem angry, hostile, and nobody wants to deal with that.

  • @BlazePyron2 said:

I'm doing the killer thing where I have a bad match and come on the forums to complain.

The advice I see is if someone is good in a chase you just leave them and find a different survivor. But what do you do against 4 survivors who are all expert runners? The early game was a sign this game was no good, I was having a decent chase and then 3 gens got done at once.

I've seen pros saying that against a good survivor team you have to completely change your gameplay and just play tag, but unless you're running sloppy they just heal through it.

I just feel really powerless as killer against a good team of survivors. I feel like I have no resources and no recourse except to just accept that the game is unwinnable for me. And that's not why I play killer. That's not the fantasy of playing killer. And it is terrible for the health of the game because it just makes me want to take out my frustration against the next group of survivors, which just furthers the cycle of toxicity.

What strategies are there against a team that plays perfectly?

You have to let first two gens go most the time, at start. Use that time to herd them to a 3 gen type scenario. Never commit to one chase for too long. Stay patrolling, and practice makes perfect the grind in this game is unfortunate

the biggest thing killers do is focus on one player. Maybe that player looped them or hurt their pride, but they stay focused on one player and then complain they lost.

The new Halloween movie is being released in October, so it would be the perfect time to have an update heavily focused around it. We desperately need a rework to Laurie’s face, Haddonfield rework, and some buffs for Myers, while removing his bullshit add ons.

In addition to this, we could have some new cosmetics for them, maybe even an older Laurie as a legendary cosmetic. Give us an event to celebrate one of the most iconic horror franchises!

Probs not. Bhvr said they want to focus on the real issues that are impacting the game. A few they stated they wanted done by 2022 were:

    -New charms for Bill

    -Cosmetics for Christmas

    -Removing pallets from loop locations

-New sound effects in start up menu.

so as you see, they’ll be way too busy.

I'm playing as fair as I can here but Nemesis greatest Weakness is the "Hold W" meta which kills pressure. I haven't won/4K any of my games as being a good Nemesis killer. I just get 4Ks as Nemesis because Survivors were bad or I played by Camping and Slugging.

I honestly don't know how people can call Nemesis as B tier which is the same tier as Hillbilly(for me). Nemesis is not good at anything. Nemesis is not mobile. Currently He is not good at Chases. Oh what's that you say? You disagree that he is good at chases?

Maybe I'm Blind but Survivors intentionally getting close while I whip out the tentacle and missing because the Hitbox of the tentacle is crap should not be a thing. To Effectively use him you need to hit people 3 times with the tentacle which gives speed boost for the first 2 times, In a Hold W meta this is just unfun. Nemesis has the worst add ons I have ever seen on a Killer ever as nothing is worth bringing there. You may say that Killing Zombies for Mutation Add Ons are good but tier 3 is just an extra meter length for the tentacle and you still need to hit 3 times. Did I also mention that Zombies are useless in outdoor maps, even if the Survivors are near the zombie during chase sometimes the zombie just flat-out ignores the Survivor.

I can even say that Trickster is better right now as he is actually oppressive 1v1 and Survivors can't do ######### against Trickster on short height loops. Nemesis on the other hand can only watch Survivors Holding W to the other side of the map.

I don't see Nemesis being in the same tier as Oni, Demo or Hillbilly. So I don't get how my friends or people keep saying that nemesis is a strong Killer and is B tier. Actual B tier Killer can beat a good SWF but Nemesis can never win against a good SWF.

I have. I win almost every killer game I play. With nemesis I just win quicker as I can hit over walls and pallets making them useless. Survivors are sitting ducks.

  • Sure. He’s got a 8 foot reach and can teleport to gens. Throw in some blood pallets and you got a pretty swift 4K.

Whenever BHVR releases a Player Feedback Survey, I see that anime is always a choice for a type of chapter that could be a possible choice. I've seen a few posts in the distance past of people suggesting ideas, but there have been very few varities. (I've seen mostly Death Note if I'm being honest).

What would be an interesting anime/mange chapter concept for you all to see? I'd love a variety of killers with different killer powers. Getting to see and try new things in this game is one of the many reasons why I keep coming back.

I’d prefer they keep anime and that sort of thing out of the game.

  • @BenZ0 said:

I also feel that, survivors start to realize slowly by time that just running forward without looping is against most Killers just the smartest strategy. The problem with it is, it is a very boring strategy which removes all kind of skill play in the game but yet it is the most effective one.

But the big question is, how do you want to adress it? Scott Jund made the suggestion to just reduce the map size and reduce the basic M1 hit cooldown and ofc nerf Save the best for last to compensate that which is a good idea imo.

Dont know if that is really the best solution but I agree that this problem needs to be adressed before it is getting abused too often.

Well you complained about loops, then vaults, then pallets, then map size, then perks, and then gen speed. Why not just say you want survivors who cannot escape or even move if you’re honest?

  • @shalo said:

Simple question, is standing in the exit gate where you cannot be hit reportable? Right on the edge where you're still in the game but can't be hit.

Lol are you serious? Is this how killer mains really think? Can I report you for trying to chase survivors out of match? See how silly that sounds?

  • @xenotimebong said:

Anyone else experiencing this? Even at traditionally peak times my survivor queues are still pretty fast.

Too many killers playing as it’s so much easier to be killer in dbd. That’s why it takes longer to get a kill lobby as they’re all full, not enough survivors.

  • @Survanza said:

    Hi!

I just want to ask you, do you also think that game is more on killer side?

I am not new at this game, so I see how game is changing by years:

    • maps are smaller than in past
    • pallets are less
    • now after last gen we have a time to escape.

What about killers? Does they had some nerfs last time?

I don't realize any nerf on killers or their abilities.

I remember times when DS was working all time, not only for few seconds after being unhooked.

My friend is a new player in that game, and he makes 8 rank in a week. He just play without perks and he saying that he don't really need them (he play as Nemesis). All the time he have 4 kills or 3 if he decided last survivor escape - "if he decided".

    Last killers:

    • Twins - who can control both gates at the same time - I know that cause I was playing with them a lot.
    • Trickster - who is actually like a boosted Huntress, but not that strong like Twins
    • Nemesis - he is like a motorbike, very quick and even windows or pallets are not a problem for his tentacle

I don't want you to get me wrong, I am not a guy who after bad game is came to forums to cry, this is all what i noticed by years playing this game.

Cause killers was always quickly than survivors, that why survivors had pallets and windows, but now... we have a lot of killers for who pallets are not a problem - Nurse, Huntress, Legion, Deathslinger, Executioner, Nemesis, Trickster, even Doctor can turn off your ability to drop the pallet. I think that is kinda unfair, cause we - as a survivors - even when we take a Sprint we can run only some seconds and then we have perk on cooldown and we will have to stop running from killer to reset it.

We have a lot of perks what are actually not used in game, cause they are not worth.

Distortion - ok, very nice perk to counter Legion power or BBQ but it have only 3 tokens, why? Does killer's BBQ have only 3 tokens? No. So why perk what counter it have to be less powerfull?

Killer have 4 perks and a power - me 4 perks only.

If he take BBQ for see me and I counter it with Disortion what would be working without tokens - still we both have 3 perks + he have the power.

Ofc. I can hide in a locker but then - killer still is walking on map and he is doing his role, my role then is stopped, cause I can't do my role in a locker.

    So:

    • maps are smaller
    • pallets are less
    • we have to escape in some seconds after last gen
    • killer is quickly than we
    • we can slow killer with pallet or window but actually more killers counter that
    • killer have the same number of perks like survivor + he have a power
    • killer perks works all the time, survivors not all + survivor can't trully counter killer

I noticed that killers have problem to win only when play vs full 4 SWF - but not every survivior player is playing in a group, maybe maing a 2 queues would be fix that problem with killer-survivor game side?

100%, but all you’ll get here is excuses, weird insults, and told it’s you who is not good at the game. That or they’ll say you’re trolling if they cannot answer. This is killer main central and not good ones at that.

you are right though, the game is killer sided and only getting worse.

The thing is, fam, I used to get it. People used to actually loop, try and mindgame each other. That is how the game was intended to be played, that made it fun.

There is absolutely nothing fun in following a survivor on a straight line until you get them or Bloodlust kicks in, while gens fly across the map. That is boring.

Well they took out the loops and half the pallets because killers whined all day about looping. So there’s that.

I've really seen it all now! Killers who are complaining about when survivors "hold W"? Seriously???

And the fact that it's being called a "meta"? BAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHA ROTFLMAO

Last time I checked movement was a pretty universal game mechanic. So. . . I guess that makes it meta?

Killer mains these days are something else. And all this time I thought survivors were the ones with all the petty complaints.

P.S. I play both sides and I just have fun. Maybe try not taking the game so seriously people?

Yep lol. It’s insane isn’t it. These killer mains literally want an open field with immobile survivors they can hit, hook, and leave. These people have lost the plot officially.

Why are you guys so toxic? Stop this teebag and leave the gate if you leave no one behind. Its just annoying to play against toxic survivors in every game.

They are more celebrating they won. As survivors, we die a lot. We’ve been camped, tunneled, hit through windows or with Hatchets 10 feet away. A win feels good. Hang in there.

I never got to know anyone even though i played with nice people.

I don't know about sending them a friend request, because most of the time I'm afraid it's not a mutual feeling for them, to be my friend.

I'm not a social butterfly and i know the mood when you don't want to meet people but play the game. so yeah, i always think that everyone is chilling and not looking for friends.

Share how you got to know people and became their friend 🙂

My gaming buddies and I met on F13 where there is in game chat. At one time the group was large, but there were 4 of us that got along best. Been playing together for 3 years now and moved to dbd.

you could send a friend request and see if they accept. If they don’t, I doubt it’s personal as you seem nice.

  • I’m guessing it was more matchmaking. I can tell instantly if I’m with ranks close to my own or not, survivor and killer.

  • Lol. Maybe they should make hot survivors auras visible from any distance so it’s easier for you.

So as you know the new Resident Evil chapter has arrived in DBD, and with has come a bunch of new players (it has increased by about 30,000 people). Now this is good and all but its not exactly fun to be playing with new players all the time.

With the new MMR system being added, rank reset, and a bunch of new players, the game is really difficult to play.

Most new killers are struggling to play because all the survivors are far better than them (due to rank reset and the MMR), so most of them have resorted to camping or tunneling. This makes for really depressing games.

On the other hand, as survivor, most of the other players are also new making games that end basically as you get hooked because they are too scared to rescue you (or don't know how).

This also effects killers because you can get put with really bad/new survivors as well, which makes for really boring games because you either win super fast or they are all just hiding.

Let me know if you guys agree/diagree with this, or if your experiencing the same issues! :)

Mmr places you with teammates with similar skill levels. So it’s a benefit to the game. Rank doesn’t mean you’re good as we all know. I’m 100% in favor of the mmr system, but I get why killers with no skill looking to get that way 4K may feel threatened by it. Hate to see it.

Go and tell me hit validation is working as intended BHVR, I dare you.

I never believed in this system and this just confirmed me it's absolutely fake and they never worked on such system

Wow this happens to me and my buddies all the time. The killers know it too which is why they swing at every window. There a 50/50 shot of getting a bogus hit like the one in your video. Good post.

I know there have been countless threads about keys already. I don’t care. I’m tired of the devs talking about “changes” to keys forever and still doing nothing about them. I’m ready to quit this game altogether until something is done about the free zero-skill escapes. Nothing is more demotivating than playing a match against good survivors, feeling pretty proud of yourself as you feel like the tide is turning for a 3-4K win, and then watching two or three disappear down the hatch. Someone please explain how this is balanced or how there is any counter-play to this. Honestly I don’t care if one gets out through the hatch, but these two- and three-survivor hatch escapes are BS.

Why don’t you play duck hunt if you just want a mindless easy 4K game? They’ve taken out pallets, boarded up windows, redone maps, survivors are slow, and only survivor perks are anti tunneling. What honestly more do you need? Plus ds is crap now too. Maybe it’s not the game, maybe it’s your expectations?

  • Might be how you’re playing honestly. Nobody wants to play in a kill simulator where killer is only one having fun.

I don't get why killers/survivors see the gateau's or even streamers and Gen Rush/ Tunnel camp one survivor. I literally just watched a trapper do trappers basement with 2 gateau's WHY ON EARTH would you ruin the opportunity to gain a boat load of Bloodpoints? How often do you see multiple gateau's? I don't understand the logic behind it. I get you can play how you want and there's no rule against it but that's pretty messed up dude. Poor Feng walked out with a base score of 2k while the rest of us enjoyed a whopping 20k

To killers it doesn’t matter. They need that 4K and nobody else’s fun, points, or game play experience matter.
