I can't speak for not console but at least on console for me, Blight likes to play Blight Hawk's Pro Skater. He doesn't bounce off of ish for me, he just runs into it and then slides along it like a Slip N Slide
But I don't ever play as either so I can't say if this is a "me" problem or a "console" problem

People in the country side are goddamn vicious in my country. My aunt had a very beautiful cat (seemed Siamese, probably due to some weird combo between the female cat and someone's male Siamese cat) and he got MAULED and had his throat... You know.

Holly is my first kitty so I imagine I'll be a blubbering mess when (hopefully in a good decade plus) she inevitably goes down

Oh wait, now thinking about this, here's a little story:
My godfather lives in a small village and he has quite a few cats. One of them used to always hunt the neighbor's chicken, so my godfather gave the cat to the neighbor to do what they want with him. They put the cat in a bag and threw him in a river.
Two weeks later, the cat is back home. Houdini.
... hopefully for revenge for being thrown into the river.

My understanding is the core mechanic is remaining the same (with the only difference being if you're marked, you can't reveal GF no more).
I do hope they find a way to make the reveal more consistent. But he's been out for years and it's still junk so I just have a hard time believing it. Love for them to prove me wrong though...

Unfortunately that seems to happen way less and le...NO TIPPY! POSITIVITY!!!

Unfortunately I don't expect BHVR to ever actually do anything meaningful with it
For whatever reason known only to BHVR, they have always balanced and catered this game to the low skill level player. So they're going to cater DH to the Baby Dwight that Dead Hard's themselves into a brick wall trying to dodge the killers swing that then come to the forum to talk about how DH isn't really that big of a deal.
I'd love for BHVR to prove me wrong but catering to the noobs has been their main priority when it comes to balance. Since DH is fine in the hands of noobs, DH is fine in the eyes of BHVR, no matter how much hell it puts killers through once they run into a 4 man DH squad that has actually played the game for more than a few dozen hours

I initially got this feeder stuff for Holly and the Cat TV concept (I would think they would HATE sitting inside watching wildlife outside cause when Holly is sitting in her tree watching them, she twitches and growls like a tweaker coming down from their high but doesn't have the money to get more crack but I guess cats LOVE this). However, I've found that I've really enjoyed watching the show too.
I got a squirrel feeder (which is what you see in the pic) because the squirrels kept going after the bird feeder on my window and they would tear it down because it's not designed for their weight. The bird store lady told me that once the birds discovered the food source here, it'll usually be a week or so before they grow the courage to go for the bird feeder itself (especially since they would see Holly sitting there). The bird feeder has Finch Feed in it, which to my knowledge is what that bird in the pic is so hopefully they'll grow brave soon enough and go to the window feeder instead.
I haven't put it up yet but I got some Hummingbird Feeders for the front yard as well (my backyard window doesn't really get sun where the front yard window gets lots of sun so like everything else in my life since getting her, "How can I make Holly a little happier" is the name of the game :D). It's still too cold for those to go outside (since I imagine this Hummingbird Kool-Aid stuff would freeze) but I'm hoping to put them up next month at some point.

I can't stand to play against Ghostface for that reason. You both can just stare at each other lovingly in the middle of the field and it won't do anything. But then there are times when you're specifically trying not to look at him cause you're hiding but the screen caught the flow of his robes in the very top left hand corner while you stare at the ground and it'll start to reveal him.
Same with his ability to 99 people and then come back and tag you later. It doesn't feel very stalkery when he is right on top of you chasing you, goes into "stalk" mode to sneakily stalk you like a cunning ninja and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. It sure doesn't feel very sneaky and stalkerish when I can very clearly see him standing there like Ghostface from Scary Movie instead of Ghostface from Scream...

I was born with shortened Achilles tendons. Nothing too major but what this meant was that when I walk, I would walk upright on my tip toes. I had a few surgeries to help fix the issue (which helped) but when I ran, I still went up on my tip toes.
In middle school, I played soccer. Kids would call me Tippy to mock my run.
When I left and moved to a new city for high school, my step-brother would continue to call me Tippy but as a term of endearment instead (or at least I think it was :D). But the nickname carried on except it was reclaimed as my nickname among friends rather than something people called me to mock me with.

BHVR can just to just blow it off and/or ignore it but anybody who boots up the game can tell that there are way more survivors than there are killers. It's glaringly obvious that killers are either quitting completely or (possibly even worse for these imbalances), becoming just survivors instead.
I know personally I play way less than I used to just because the game has turned into a boring slog of misery and sadness. I curb stomp a bunch of noob survivors who couldn't hit a skill check if you made the entire circle a Good Zone or I get curb stomped by Seal Team SWF. I know this might shock some of you but EITHER of those happening 9 times out of 10 is not a fun game.

Same. I try my very best to die as soon as possible. In part because I can give the killer points and in part because I have no desire to be in that match
I also do not bother to report people. I'm not going to waste my time policing the game that BHVR should be policing. Takes longer to report someone than it does to play an entire match.

If that's A-Hole worthy, then my actions are equally A-Hole worthy. I HATE people who try to quit like that. If you want to quit that badly, take your DC on the chin like a champ, don't ruin four people's game.
Anyone who tried to suicide out of the game with 5 gens left but is either rescued or accidentally KOBEs off the hook gets to play "lie on the floor" simulator if I'm the killer. You're doing your time brah, whether it's a DC penalty or you stare at the ground until you bleed out. Don't try to ruin four people's game because you're throwing a hissy fit for whatever reason. If that makes me the A-Hole, so be it.

Happens with my boys LF and Oni too. It might not be the level of competition but just me failing basic things I should be doing in my sleep as a main. Bumping into random crap as LF or winding up and wiffing with my big bad Oni bat :'(

The blessing and the curse of SBMMR. Start doing really well (which presumably you are going to do if they're your main peeps) and eventually, you hit a wall where you run into the equal skilled survivors (which usually means you're going to lose).

Sure, it's getting harder and harder to actually believe BHVR gives any crap about any of our opinions but as long as people WANT to enjoy the game but can't because of whatever their reason, people are going to say stuff.
It's when everybody clams up and just walks away that you know that nobody cares anymore and your game is a Dead Man Walking...

I imagine NOED is coming back in style because of boons. Hit and run tactics don't work anymore so you need to drop survivors in one crack and survivors no longer wish to break totems because then their boobs won't work so NOED is shielded.
I never liked using NOED but now on M1 killers, I don't scoff at the idea of me using NOED because of boons. Even if the survivors break it after I drop one person, it's common all I need to do is drop one person for it to start to snowball in my favor in the EGC.

Because they might have been waiting for 5+ minutes for that game, using a high offering and item add-ons only for them to get thrown away and have a bunch of their time wasted as they now have to requeue.
You might have had a very good reason for it but that's not a ton of comfort to someone who might have a hour to play total and have 1/4 of their little free time burned by a killer quitting right away.
I'm not saying this to make you feel bad or anything, just giving you a reason why they might be super salty about you leaving right away

Both sides are miserable to play. Killers get curb stomped by that crappy SBMM. So killers quit. The killers that stick around use tactics that aren't fun (camping and slugging and tunneling) because it's the only way to really compete if you want to win. So survivors quit and the survivors who stick around play sweaty as hell and many are jerks to the killers not playing sweaty and hard because they're irked about the last five camping games. This makes killers frustrated and quit and the ones that stick around play with unfun tactics because they're sick of being bullied, which makes the survivors...

Well those ranks mean nothing. I don't know how long you've been gone but the rank system you see isn't the "real" rank. That's the rank you get each month (and you get a nice reward pending how high you can get it).

Thing is, DbD matches are too short for that to be helpful. As survivor, you give the team such a massive disadvantage that the killer likely already has turned the match in their favour, and coming back to it would be futile.
As killer, that requires leaving a match on hold for 4 other players who have to either pause the game, which nobody wants, or just do gens and leave.
I suppose that's fair but I'm just thinking of my own game and the few times I've had the power flicker off and then on again. It would take me at the very longest, 30 seconds to turn my Xbox back on and get to the main screen (where I presume at that point it would give you the option to get back into your game).
30 seconds can be a long long time in this game (especially if you're killer) so I was basing this more on survivors being able to come back. Like you said, with how short the games are, maybe BHVR just thinks it's not worth the effort to implement something like that when most cases it would kill your team (either because you're the killer and 30 seconds is long enough to get a LOT of gen progression done unchallenged or because you are a survivor getting hooked and you may just die before you even get back).

It does really suck that BHVR doesn't have any kind of a "rejoin game" function for when you get popped out for only a few seconds
But until that does exist, a DC is a DC no matter the cause behind it unfortunately

Mine is similar but Bloodwardening the Toxic Bully Squad for the 4K. ESPECIALLY if the reason I got the BW to go off was because they were still trying to be gloating jerks in the EGC and I caught one of them who flew just a little too close to the sun...

I at least was pretty merciful. I would pretty consistently let one person go if I was going to get to the 4K (Not every time mind you but if I feel like someone played particularly well on a bad team or if it was 2 people left and one hid while the other one still did gens, I'd let the one doing gens be and go find the hider).

BHVR took a look at their matchmaking and said "Skill in a game like this is nuanced and complicated and requires a lot of work to figure out how to balance. That sounds hard. Let's just make it based on escapes and kills!"
Then for some reason, they're super shocked that their half-assed half-baked system is a colossal flop that the vast majority of the fanbase hates but hey, they worked SUPER hard on it guys so we're not going to do anything to change it.
It's a mystery why this game started bleeding players when SBMM was introduced...
