I've signed up as a Killer. Will definitely play Clown if possible.
-
Are you really surprised? They want you to be a good little player and get milked.
-
The worst thing about Madness 3 is that you cannot Mend.
-
So its that idea they once tried in the PTB but as an always active perk?
You know that change never made it through because survivors exploited it to hell and back, right?
-
I honestly don't care who I face, as long as they're not into hard-camping or tunneling into the extremes.
-
I am hoping that the developers don't bend over and make DbD into some My Little Pony fan-fiction game. Dead by Daylight needs the blood, the gore and the darkness.

I bought him just because I buy all characters that come out. Never used MoM, except when getting Adept Ash. Hell, I don't even like Evil Dead, it's so dumb and unfunny. I just want to support BHVR, without spending on stupid cosmetics.
@George_Soros Ironically, its cheaper to buy whole DLCs from the game's steam store page than a single cosmetic from the store..
On topic. I haven't bought anything coming from Behavior in a while and I plan not to support them until they start actually fixing #########. Saying that they are planning on fixing things are empty and meaningless without action.
-
I have but like.. I ain't gonna play nicer because of that. No one else have done that to me.
-
In the current ranking system, you get punished if you do too well.
-
Interesting idea but it'll never happen. Behavior wants their money so shard prices gonna remain high.
-
Because No Mither is supposed to be a handicap perk. You're handicapping yourself. Its not supposed to be good BUT I do agree with others in this thread that you should be rewarded for using it, in the form of more Bloodpoints overall.
-
LF's Multidown mechanic is way to toxic & face camp friendly..I'd rather see the Cannibal get a buff in other areas to take that out of his kit.
Mutli-down is literally the only unique thing about him. If anything, he'd need a buff or two.

Oh, it'll come soon.
Right after we get fixes for Entity Blockers being broken, Sounds still being bugged, survivors escaping from my grip as I pick them up because of Adrenaline therefore being in a broken state, Clown bottles exploding immediately, auras being difficult to read on Ormond's, being unable to interact with gens on specific sides, totem spawns being out in the bottom, tiles not spawning leaving completely void dead zones, Plague's vomit ghost hitting survivors, Freddy ghost hitting survivors that just fell asleep, animations being broken in the lobby, animations breaking when swinging down a pallet in game, Huntress randomly not being able to M1 unless she lifts and sheathes a hatchet, Trapper being forced to look down after setting a trap, survivors being able to vault over traps, traps going under objects like stairs making them invisible.
*deep inhale*
@Sairek ↑This
There are so much stuff's broken in DbD.

@Walker_of_the_fog_96 He's a nomad, travelling with his wagon and horse. I'd love to see his carnival pop up in other realms, as he sets up shop ready for more visitors.

"Will to Live"
This perk activates when you've been saved from the hook twice. The next time you get hooked, instantly break the hook and escape instead. The killer gets stunned for 3/4/5 seconds. "Will to Live" also resets exhaustion.
-
I've seen MnA do wonders on your average 32 meter TR killers, as the reduced TR means survivors cannot get as far as away as they normally would. Not to mention I've seen survivors "stealth away" right into the killer's arms because they couldn't quite tell where he was.

@se05239 this is a quote directly from not_Queen
”Hello, for everyone that says we should lay off some artists. Please don't. This is not a matter of replacing people, it's a matter of hiring more.
We have job openings but it is difficult to fill them in this job market (programmers are a rare resource in Montreal) If you think you can help us, please apply.”
@TreemanXD Good to know. Won't stop making noise about it unless it actually feels like stuff's getting done, though.
-
As long as they aren't hard-camping and tunneling, I honestly don't care which killer I face. I always have a blast against Spirit and Nurse players, due to them being hard to go against.
-
An audio bug relating to the sacrifice process of survivors. The audio in this game gets worse for each and every update and the developers do nothing to restore it.
-
Survivors sure act entitled but holy #########.. you just set a new standard.

I know where this idea comes from but don't you think the killer would just doge the swf group? Because some people don't want more difficult /toxic games.
@LapisInfernalis That's why there should be a REWARD for going in against SWFs.

@se05239 yea it's really not even about Legion being strong or not. You just blaze through the map, jumping through vaults as you please, slash relentlessly, feeling formidable and powerful... that experience is gone now. Such a wasted opportunity too: I honestly believe that it would have been possible to leave Legion's core design as it was, while making the moonwalk thing go away, changing Deep Wound mechanic to make it less annoying, and possibly tackling Killer Instinct (give it a counter).
It is what it is now, no way there's gonna be Legion adjustments anytime soon. My biggest worry is that the Freddy rework will take a similar path: I'll be very disappointed if he'll be made stronger but less special.
@George_Soros I ain't even excited for Freddy's rework. Its doomed from the get-go as long as the developers seek to make "fun" killers. They'd need to get back to their roots and make killers like Nurse, Huntress and Billy again. Where you feel STRONG and POWERFUL with but still have weaknesses that can be exploited.
You don't feel like you're a strong killer when playing the new Legion due to how much handicaps are attached to his power.
-
Hope still does an amazing job though? Its an end-game perk by design.
You're really underestimating how much 7% increased movement speed is.
-
@George_Soros said:
Pretty much in agreement, the vault speed nerf is the worst. Legion's uniqueness came from them giving you a sense of being fast and agile, and it felt good when you were fed up with the slow normal vault of other killers. And the FF movement speed is nearly as bad.
The only thing that HAD to be fixed was the moonwalk exploit. Other than that, the whole outrage about Legion was that a lot of players hated the concept of a killer that can almost inevitably get you, if committed. Plus, though there has always been counterplay, survivors would have had to give up the meta, and they didn't want that.
Legion is still a relatively effective killer. But man, is he boring...
@George_Soros I am not even sure why making him as fast as before would make him too strong. He still have to suffer a long-ass stun and cannot bodyblock while fatigued. And multiple stabbings don't do ######### anyway.
"Gotta Go Fast" was one of the fun things Legion had going for him before.
-
I'd like to see less skins and more actual DEVELOPMENT getting done.
I am sure they can afford to retire half of the cosmetics team to afford some developers to fix long-standing issues, like the audio problems.
-
Right away at the hook, as long as the killer doesn't come back right away.
-
I am not fond how many suggestions you provided increase repair speed. The generators getting done too fast are already a huge problem in the game.
-
To be honest, it'd require that the developers actually care about their community.
The developers of Warframe has an amazing trackrecord of community interaction. They actually LISTEN to their community, their woes and their problems and actually fix things. Not to mention that they have a really great way of handling microtransactions.
Yes, there's premium currency but you can just farm a bit and sell what you find for premium currency that other players already have, thus resulting in things only costing time instead of your hard-earned cash. It's brilliant.
Behavior Interactive ain't these developers. There's a lot of empty PR talk coming from most of them, we never get to know anything. They don't share ######### either, apart from rigged statistics to make things look better than what they actually are.
-
I didn't know this was an e-peen measuring contest, @Orion . I thought you better than this.
-
Why though?

@SlinkyJinky said:
There there it's ok, Enduring's not getting nerfed,
@SlinkyJinky ..yet..
-
Technically there is, in the form of mud and rainfall.
-
I avoid it if I can but I won't deny that getting a survivor out early is one of the best strategies in the game.
-
@dfrenchiee said:
I completely agree. The old engine and the darkness of the maps made it look a lot scarier than it does right now.
Everything felt a lot more eerie back then. I miss it :-(
@dfrenchiee I don't. The game back then was pure cancer for everyone playing killer.
-
Considering Blizzard as we remember them are gone, fully infected with the Activision filth, Overwatch's probably unplayable right now. Wouldn't wanna get into it myself. It can rot away for all I care.

@Tefatika That is true, I am worried that this could cause a lot of issues within the game for Players who might spend too much on it and hurt themselves, but we'll have to see.
@Chaotic_Riddle That's the greedy developer's dream. Why do you think so many microtransactions in the modern gaming industry takes the form of a literal one-armed bandit?
-
@Milo ONCE AGAIN.. Unless they say a definite "No", its a "Yes". Especially when they're being silent and distant about it.
-
@MegsAreEvil said:
Nothing new. EGC needs rework for 1vs1 situations.
@MegsAreEvil You want the hatch stand-off back, I guess? You want the timer to stop while there's only one survivor left, I reckon?
The EGC effectively KILLED the hatch standoff and the ######### hostage situations.
-
I saw someone suggesting at some point that for every devotion level you get, you could get a unique set of cosmetics for a character of your choosing. Something that'd exclusive to Devotion levels.
I'd personally just see the shards reward to be increased and also adding Auric Cells as part of a level up (a small amount though) as to coax players to spend more. I mean, it's common logic that people who shops more regularly aren't afraid to spend more when they find something they like.
-
Getting a survivor out of the game as fast as possible is one of the best strategies in the game currently.
-
Your average Pallet Eater build works wonders since he's a M1 killer, like Enduring + Spirit Fury. Since he's mobility is eh, using perks like Ruin or Corrupt Intervention can help him early game.

As I said in other posts, we should start with 10.000BP. No more DC
@prayer_survivor People would just afk in-game instead.. since they've already secured 10k points and if a killer kills them right away.. that's some easy 10k.
What we need in regards to the DC epidemics IS ACTUAL PUNISHMENT FOR DISCONNECTING FROM A GAME.
-
BBQ is kinda good as it is but WGLF needs a buff in the form of you also getting a token if you heal a health state on another survivor.
