A full BBQ stack and a fun game is considered a win for me, even if no one ends up dead.
-
The only game that has a good Battle Pass is Fortnite, because you can earn enough of the premium currency from the Pass itself to buy a new Pass thus letting you get new Passes for free, provided you play consistently (which is something game developers should strive for).
Behavior would go the route of EA's Battle Pass, where there's literally no reward to be had for a dedicated player. Heck, they'll provide "pay to level up" upgrades together with the Battle Pass for the players that don't play enough. The cattle needs milking, this is the perfect chance.
-
So you literally cannot wait two minutes until the entitiy kills you? You need to also have some sort of free win mechanic in the new "end-game" as well?
-
I think they mentioned at some point that they don't want to uncap it because people would be able to 0 P0 → 50 P3 a character in one sitting.
-
Nurse herself is fine but her add-ons definitely needs a look-over. They're very dated.
-
No. The developers' would want to risk Legion to actually become good.
-
WHY THE LITERAL ######### ARE PEOPLE OK WITH THE ENTIRE GAMING INDUSTRY DEGENERATING ITSELF INTO SOME ######### MICROTRANSACTION FILLED CESSPOOL?

@Orti said:
Assuming the picture isn't fake you get two purple cosmetic pieces, two greens and some other stuff I can't remember plus 500 shards and 500 bloodpoints the price makes the use for the costumer, let's say it cost 15$ for a month you would get that money back by the first 20 levels out of 60 assuming to the picture and if the worth of cosmetics is the same every ten levels.
I'm not a big fan of battle passes in general but I don't mind if they implement it if done fair. You're making an assumption about how they would do it without knowing anything about how they would actually do it.
I don't want to argue about the battle pass I just want to know if someone knows if the picture is fake or not.
If it's done how I saw it on the picture it would be a great way to earn cosmetics as a newer player and useless for most player who already bought cosmetics for a lot of characters.
Don't talk trash about something you don't know
Of course I am making an assumption. Like I said, ONE game out of all the ones out there does Battle Passes right and you just blindly believe that Behavior's gonna do it the "right" and "fair" way?
You need to be a realist. IF a Battle Pass is happening, then Behavior's gonna do it the EA way. Its all about milking the cattle and good cattle don't complain.

Punishable DCs are the best thing about dedicated servers IMO
@Groxiverde Looking forward to this so much.
-
It's always one way but not the other, ain't it?
A survivor DC'ing in a game not only ######### over the survivors remaining but also severely limits how much points the killer can get overall and even if they'll even get a pip in the end.
-
Kebab, Garlic sauce, onion, bell pepper, pepperoni.. mmmm...

@Orti said:
It's just about earning cosmetics that are already in the game from the picture what if seen and there is a free version too, in the paid version you only got 500 shards once an 5000 bp so far away from giving you any ingame advantage
DON'T DEFEND THIS ######### PRACTICE!
There's only a single game out there that do Battle Passes right and that's (regrettably) Fortnite, since you can earn enough premium currency in a single Pass to buy a new one "for free".
The rest of the market is following EA and making sure that there's no win for the customer. Behavior Interactive is one of those that'd follow the example of EA without a second thought.

Then you mean before got killed I should repair the gen for seconds first?
So why not waiting for that straightly. No one would enjoy the game with nurse, do you? If not, why you keep playing disgustly.
@zaozaoxx I play every game I get into, no matter what killer or map. I have a fairly high survival rate because I've LEARNED what works against all killers.
-
I hope to hell and back that it's fake. This game's already struggling in many areas and going full-on EA is to ask for its demise.
-
I am going to advocate that the first DC per day is free, though. Sometimes life just happens, you know?

Then I will hang up and do nothing until the Nurse killed me. I can switch out to watch a video on YouTube. Can BHVR force me to play with Nurse?
@zaozaoxx Well aren't you a shining beacon of everything that's wrong in our community?

All we got was false promises.
on their stream they once mentioned a compensation starting with extra BP.
they even said they want to “help” meanwhile they never gave a single thing.
not even a lousy indicator to show gown many SWF are in the lobby. Most game have a indicator like OW.
but “killers will doge” they doge already anyway, and they can adjust the cooldown easily so no problem.
shows u how much the devs care. As long as survivors are happy, don’t matter to them.
they don’t want to help killers combat an unfair advantage.
@HeHeBoii It's a classic Behavior Interactive trademark.

Diversion would get a simple change which should make things more interesting for it. If you were to throw a pebble 2/5/10 meters near a window ect generator it would trigger a noise bubble of the noise notification it was near with scratchmarks.
@ThirdSealOPplzNerf This makes perfect sense. Just make the pebble scan the area where it lands around and copy the noise indication of the closest interaction available.

@TheShape78 said:
I see your point, but keep in mind that nothing we have seen is by any means final, and is almost certainly subject to change, especially after the PTB.
@TheShape78 Why bother with the PTB. The developers got a massive track-record of ignoring feedback given to them. Might as well not have any PTBs anymore, since they don't listen.

@Mat_Sella said:
We dont need new game modes, we need more viable playstyles.
The majority of the killers are trash at higher levels and a lot of the perks simply just arent at all effective in the majority of matches.
@Mat_Sella This is the true answer here. If people faced a new killer every game, they'd not complain as much and they'd have more fun overall.

@popoles said:
I don't understand how anyone can say that MoM is harmless.
Not when you play as Wraith and all 4 of them have it. Plus DH and Adrenaline.
And because most of my matches are like this and I WANT to play Wraith, I am thinking about playing as survivors only.
@popoles People playing killers aren't supposed to have fun. We're but punching bags.
-
They'd need to rig the faces of most of the masked killers if that's the case as everyone who have a mask got a static emotionless face that's also horribly textured.

I played against a Billy using DD the other day. Things were very confusing at times, for the entire game we thought he was running Tinkerer. But I haven't played against DD much if at all, so it's hard to tell when a killer has it. Once I see it more then it would be easier to counter.
@thesuicidefox I can imagine it working well on Hillbilly, thanks to his amazing mobility. Whack the obsession and speed off to a generator.
-
Oh no. Two whole minutes of being caught in a corner..
-
He seems to have nothing to help him in a chase so your average pallet eater build would work wonders on him. Like Enduring + Spirit Fury.

@ClogWench said:
I think it's a bandaid fix to a bigger problem. They'd be better off directly addressing the DC problem
@ClogWench This. Punish disconnection from games and people will stop disconnecting.
-
Killers have been dealing with hostage situations lasting upwards to an hour for 2½ years and now when they can return the favor FOR A MERE 3 MINUTES, survivor players freak out.
The double standard here is DISGUSTING.

@prayer_survivor said:
If we start game with 10.000BP few people will DC. I think is easy for devs
@prayer_survivor That's a stupid as ######### idea. What's stopping survivors from AFK'ing entire games for them easy 10k? It won't stop the problem, it'd degrade the game even further.
Punishment for disconnecting games is needed at this point. Things have gone too far thanks to lack of action from Behavior's side.

It awes me how Behavior can break the sound of the game with every patch they release.
@Unnamed_Freak You really shouldn't be. They do this all the time.
-
75-25 Survivor-Killer ratio.
I'd love to play more killer but I am too easily stressed out and frustrated, so eh.
-
@Orti Neither of those remove my ability to play the game. Mori cancelling forces me to tab out and make some coffee, watch youtube videos, check memes on 9GAG and whine on the forums.
I rather just get mori'd and move on. I am sure many would prefer that.

Such proof. Wow. Much exploit. Very abuse. Wow.

"Slow the EGC timer, if someone wears a RBT."
This would be fine. @fluffybunny
But delete a complete ability in endgame is just dumb.
Its like :"Trapper bear traps dont work in endgame, because people could die".
@ShyN3ko Or Nurse being unable to blink. Or Hillbilly unable to use his chainsaw.
Its basically the same thing. The Pig didn't need to get gutted like a fish.

@Orti said:
But there is a tactical reason to stop a Mori, what if you see another survivor as you start to mori someone and you want to chase him instead. If they make it a one time use crouching more the once then every let's say every 5 seconds
@Orti What are the chances for THOSE to happen. In all my hours playing DbD (almost 800), I've never ever seen a killer cancelling their Mori if it wasn't for the solely for BM'ing.
Mori cancelling needs to go. Its ONLY used for toxicity.
-
I got a pair of 7.1 headset with noise cancellation. Works amazing. Arctis 3s, if I recall what they're called.
-
Kinda ironic how survivors have been known to take the game hostage for upwards to 30-60 minutes, sometimes even longer, and now when they're put in a "hostage situation" for only 4 minutes max.. they whine and complain.
The double standard is disgusting.
-
With the plague there could have been a desert realm. But nah, we got a ######### temple in a ######### forest.
-
Add "Stridor" to the list. "I can hear my character moaning despite having Iron Will".
-
What's the point? Deep Wound is even more nonthreatening than before. Although, the increase in base movement speed does give Legion more threat in a chase so healing up isn't thaaaat bad of a move.
-
@Claudette_Baguette said:

@Claudette_Baguette I've noticed this too. #########'s broken yo. Every update brings back old bugs.

@Plu said:
Funnily enough, the old pin addons would work better with current Legion since they restricted FF use.
About the current pins tho, the whole idea behind it is cool, it's just badly made and goes against how you are supposed to play Legion, and again, funnily enough, it would work better with old Legion as well since you could damage DW with FF.
This whole Legion change is very weird, like random ideas put together by different people who never discussed about it together.
@Plu It's almost like Behavior is too afraid to actual give Legion power, now when he has been borderline gutted following all the negativity.
-
Soon I will have more post than all y’all!!! -Evil laughter-
To be honest, it just shows that you're a more dedicated spammer than the rest of us.
-
Not gonna buy him because Behavior ain't worth supporting.
From what I've read and seen, he seems to be a hybrid of Pig and Myers. Looks like the critical factor of him is going to be how fast he is out of stealth and how much he needs to stalk a survivor for in order to get them marked, not to mention how long the exposure effect lasts.

Nearly every game with hag, I can consistently guarantee that I will max out the deviousness category before the game is over. That means the no one escapes score event is worthles to me. I'm sure this is the case for most people's main killer. I can also guarantee that I max out chaser on most of my killers, and this is unavoidable if I bring Beast of Prey or Thrill of the Hunt. Sarifice points are the oddball in this category, so let's not talk about them. Brutality points are either not even close to max when the trial ends or are maxed halfway through.
For survivor, I can max out chaser is the killer is bad pretty quickly, and I often max out objectives because I'm at heart a gen jockey, so that means activities like escaping chases at the end of the game or scouting with maps are pointless even if it's important to gameplay.
It's not hard to max out a category especially if you plan around it, and it doesn't require you to "do much, much better than normal". I can't vouch for you or the rest of the community, but I personally want the points for the actions I'm doing. My suggestion is one way to see that happen sometimes.
Alright!
-
Another way to reduce the grind is just to boost the BP amount overall. Made a thread about rework suggestions for the BP offerings.

Exhaustion nerf and the pallet vacuum.

Survivors are getting a taste of their own medicine, for a mere 4 minutes, and they don't like it! Who'd have thunk!
As someone who has been held prisoner in my own games for 30+ minutes MANY times during my 2½ years of playing Dead by Daylight.. I just laugh at this double standard coming from survivors now.
