I want at the very least a James Sunderland legendary skin for whoever. SH2 literally has no connection with Cheryl, PH is the manifestation of James.

Yes, I would like to see every killer having their own unique chase music that fits their character and lore.

Yes. I can confirme that It is still there from the survivors' point of view
Ok, thank you!
-
Please tell me the draping fabric on his sleeves is still there, at least from a 3rd person (survivor)perspective. They are such an integral part of that classic costume.
-
Which is exactly why they shouldn't have touched Myers when they "buffed" stealth killers. Myers should NOT be detectable in tier 1, he was fine like he was. Myers main here, by the way.
-
Fellow Halloween fan here. It'd be nice to have Jamie Lee's face in game, but I personally don't mind her current face.
-
I created movie inspired builds for Ghostface and Michael Myers, so here they are...
Ghostface: Monitor And Abuse, Enduring, Unrelenting, NOED
Myers: Monitor And Abuse, Brutal Strength, Enduring, Save The Best For Last

What's the bug?
When playing as Ghostface with the classic skin, when he raises his knife, the fabric strips on his sleeve that should be draping is "stuck" to the knife blade, thus blocking your field of view on the right side.

Same, after I heard about the bug I held back from buying it. Hopefully soon.
Yeah, I went ahead and bought it, just holding off from using it until the hotfix comes.

I would say Hag or Demogorgon, and Spirit is pretty eerie too. I would also say that the running killers can be intense to be chased by, just something about someone running after you gives you the feeling you just can't go fast enough. And of course, Michael Myers standing there stalking you at a distance is just plain creepy :)

no, calling out the fellow forum members for their obnoxious whining is not quite the same as whining about petty little changes and decisions by the devs.
people on here take every little complaint to a whole new level, some making thread after thread after thread to repeat their tired aimless complaints ad neaseum...
OP is merely pointing that out. and those who are trying point out the "irony" of such are simply advocating for more of the obnoxious whining and trying to be condescending at the same time.
Thank you!

It's validity is dependent on one's own opinion.
To me, the complaint is just as valid as EVERY other complaint that currently exists on the forums.
Which also means that it's hypocritical.
Fair enough.

Thank you for saying this, OP.

This post does EXACTLY what it complains about. Isn't that the definition of hypocrisy?
...Except, this complaint is valid. That's the difference.

Welcome to the club, my friend, I couldn't agree more. Not a single day can go by without at least a dozen negative threads being posted, most of which in my honest opinion, are overly nitpicky about every tiny little detail of the game, even things that don't even matter. I have been on some forums in my time, and before coming here, I was on the F13 game forum. I thought that was a negative place, but it doesn't even begin to compare to the negativity of this forum. It's why I don't post very often, unless it's something that I'm legitimately interested in.
Unlike the negative nancys that flood the forums on a daily basis with these unnecessary, and frankly, whiny, threads...I have better things to be doing with my time. Sad that's how they seem to spend their day, day after day. Of all the legitimate things to be worried about in life, why must a video game be number 1 on the list? 😕
-
Just one thing, hmm...trolls, disconnectors...I'll go with disconnectors. Trolls, I can handle.

Ok ty i was just wondering, since it really is cool skin. Also didn't saw that statement so i needed to ask.
No problem man. Yeah, I love it. So glad to finally see the REAL Ghostface in DBD ?

Yes, Peanits confirmed they will address it as soon as possible.

Truth be told, it IS the classic mask after all, and they knew it's quite similar to the base mask, hence the lowered auric cell price on it. I only buy cosmetics I find interest in, so it's not like I'm spending on every single thing for every character. Plus, I like the classic mask more personally. Your David Cosmetic comparison is irrelevant, because what IF someone wanted a bald King? Plus, even without the hair, he's bruised up here and there. What people buy is on them, so don't tell me what I should or should not buy because of what you think.
This.
-
@Peanits I would sincerely hope that the look of the classic robe isn't in any way altered to address this fix. I'm a huge fan of the character and films, and this classic robe is what I've been waiting for. Please, please, do not remove the draping fabric on the arms, whatever you do. That is such an iconic part of the costume. Realistically, they shouldn't be flying up on the screen anyway because unlike the default Ghostface outfit, they do not float, just simply hang down and flap in the wind as he moves. I'm sure this is a simple glitch that will be fixed without sacrificing the iconic look of the robe in any way, shape, or form.

I swear I remember reading a post on this forum not long ago where @Peanits said they were working on a Robert Englund Freddy cosmetic. I remember being very excited when I saw it. Maybe I was just in the dream world. . .
I hope so!

Love the name. But if you had to choose 3 of his film outfits, which would you pick?
If you mean which 3 Michael versions I would choose, it would probably be Halloween 4 (the one I want most), Halloween 2 (1981), and maybe Halloween 5.
-
I'd like to see maybe an original Robert England Freddy skin, but I definitely want to see the various film versions of Michael Myers added. It's all just a matter of getting the rights.
-
This is my film accurate build for him...
Monitor And Abuse
Brutal Strength
Enduring
Save The Best For Last
Don't know if it's the "best" build for him, but I can tell you from experience it works quite well for me.
-
?
-
Um...no? 😄
-
I agree it is a bit lazy of them to not give him the proper sounds/animation for the pipe, but I suppose they felt that with all the other issues the game has, it wasn't really that big of a deal. This is coming from a Myers main, by the way.
-
I'd like to see them get the rights to add the various film versions of Michael Myers, especially Halloween 4. Maybe add Laurie's hospital gown from Halloween 2 (1981). Also, maybe add some of the neon Ghostface masks. Finally, if they could ever make it happen, a classic Robert England Freddy skin would be nice.

ghostface is a killer that I purchased with my own money I don't give a damn that he is the most unfun killer to go against I will play him OMEGALUL
Preach!
-
Those people are called "trolls", but I would take it a step further. Anyone who sets out to ruin someone else's day, or experience is nothing but a bully. In this case, a "digital bully". It takes a truly low person to do such a thing. I believe their toxicity is a reflection/result of their own lives being...let's just say, subpar. In other words, I'd say it's a release for them. It is best to ignore them, as they are trying to get that oh so satisfying angry reaction out of you. It is their reward, so you must not give it to them. Reacting to them is like pouring gas on a fire expecting to put it out, it just doesn't work.
-
You should've been like, "it's sad that you lost".

@Rydog said:
I say don't do it. It's incredibly wasteful, in terms of your BP and time commitment, to hit the reset button on a character. You don't even get anything besides a piece of clothing, and I would personally much rather engage with all of the other cool cosmetics available, than just the bloody clothing.
Save your BP for other stuff, it will result in a better place experience.
This.

@KnifeaToMeetYaXD said:
This is completely illogical. For starters, the killer should have the advantage over you at basically all times. They are the power role. Secondly, both Ghostface and Myers have to stare at you for a decently long time. Not to mention looping Ghostface for 45 seconds or breaking him out before he gets the chance is not difficult. Same for Myers. He needs a good amount of stalk to reach Tier 3. Even then, he just gets a longer lunge. I have wasted others Tier 3 and Marked, and I have had my Tier 3 and marked wasted. It is not hard and it's not uncounterable. That is their power. Yes it should be strong and you should have to suffer if they manage to pull it off. If they manage to stalk you as stealth killers, they should be rewarded, you shouldn't get a second chance because you didn't see them. Also if you're going to say nerf this and that because I can't be bothered to learn counterplay, actually list some buffs rather than just saying "buff them in other ways."
Well said.
-
I always wait to hit ready AFTER the 4th survivor has hit ready. I do this for a couple reasons...one, because when you're the last to hit ready, there's a loud sound that plays, which also doubles as a sort of jump scare, followed by a heart beat. Secondly, I do it because if you look at the scratch marks on the screen that represent the players who are ready, being the last to hit ready creates the slash that goes through the other 4, which are the 4 survivors. You the killer are that slash going through them, it's very symbolic of what's to come. Doing it this way sends a message that you mean business, and are not playing around, which is how a killer should be, in my opinion.
-
Here's how I look at tunneling...though it's true some killers will purposely choose to tunnel just one survivor, in general I believe most don't. I think the thing is survivors don't look at it from the killer's perspective, which is this...if you're the killer, and you're wandering the map trying to find a survivor and you finally see one, you're obviously going to chase after them. Then, after the survivor in question gets put down and hooked, they stoop to terms like "tunneler!", when in reality, the killer was simply doing their job. It would be like taking your car to a mechanic for repairs, and then insulting them afterwards for doing their job, "how DARE you fix my car!" In other words, they're just simply insulting the killer for chasing them. Again, I understand some killers will do this on purpose, in which case I could understand the survivor's frustration, but by and large, I don't believe most killers do this purposely. It all comes down to players who simply do not want to lose, no matter what, and can't seem to handle it when they do.
-
Fair enough.
-
It would be disappointing for sure, especially as a horror fan curious to see what horror icon they add next, but as long as servers were still up so you could still play, I could manage that. They've already added my two all time favorite movie killers Michael Myers and Ghostface (complete with his classic robe soon, the cherry op top) anyway.
-
Right on, OP. I'm so tired of the developers doing this.
-
SO TRUE!
-
Well, here's the thing about these games...just think of the situation here...you have a group of 4 normal everyday people trying to survive and escape a brutal killer, like a horror movie. As we all know from watching those films, the killer is all powerful, picking each person off one by one with little effort, until you finally get to the final character who usually puts up a fight and survives. The point is, the killer should be powerful, but how do you translate that into a game that's at least somewhat fair for both sides, while staying true to that formula? It's a difficult question to answer, and therefore a difficult game to balance.

I can assure you consoles do not have dedicated servers yet. Developers have confirmed they are currently being tested on PC only.
-
I respect this post. Thank you for your service veterans, and happy Veterans Day :)

I rarely use the shrine, but when I do, it's either to get bloodpoints, or get a new perk I want.
-
Well said, I agree. But to answer your question, it's their ego, simple as that.
-
I have to agree. This game has always been extremely grindy. In fact, it's easily the most grindy game I have EVER played, by far.
-
I wish I knew...one of life's mysteries.
-
Yes, I've owned the game since it released on PS4 in 2017...man, how time flies.
-
Funworld owns the rights to that mask, so I'd assume it's possible...but I personally don't think it would be a good fit for the game.
-
No. I think he's in a pretty good place right now, and it took time to get him here. Definitely don't want to go back to the way he was in the PTB or upon release (cringes).
