Because optional stuff will not stop tryhards from doing the main objective.

Honestly? Abuse their altruism. They will always come for their buddies. I am not saying camp, unless you want to, but always know someone is nearby when a hook happens. Slug a survivor and watch people swarm to pick them up.
Dont chase one one for too long. If a brightly colored flashlight clicker is being annoying, ignore them. It will bait them into following you into a more favorable position for YOU, and not them. I have dragged a fair share of idiots into open fields only to turn the tables.
If you are also so inclined, use a mori and, once again, stab them until they die.
If this all doesn’t work, don’t let it get to you. Even the best killers get made a fool of from time to time. Just take the loss and move forward.
What this guy said swf's tend to BM more than anyone even to the point it puts them at risk, if you think someone is too good at looping you or they get in an infinite just leave find the next survivor and save the loop for last
Smart survivors will just run to different loops.

The hatch is there to prevent survivors from losing hope that the entity feeds off of.
It's there to keep the 4th from getting completely screwed by potato allies and being ledlft with 1 to 3 gens left to do solo.
It's so killers don't get a guarenteed 4k no matter how big their murder boner is.It's not perfect, but making it near impossible to access in dire straits is not the way to go.
You get points for killing 4 people, you get points for escaping.
You can bully the killer at the hatch, not just escape.I don't think killer mains are angry about not getting their 2500 points, which they actually earned, because they won the game and the survivors lost, but because it's a free and easy to get escape with no penalty at all.
You even get more points for winning like this and you can't loose at a hatch standoff if you enter after getting hit.
I don't want the hatch to go or something.
I just demand when the killer is at the hatch with the survivor, the killer wins.Implementing a more userfriendly hatch mechanic is easy:
A killer hits you, you can't use the hatch for like 5 seconds, the killer downs you, you can't get in the hatch for 5 seconds.
Should have taken the hatch, when the survivor had the chance to.
If the killer blocks it, do gens, distract the killer.
Use the sprint boost you get from getting hit to enter the hatch. If survivors abuse the mechanic still (going too far away to get hit and use their sprint burst to get immediatly to the hatch):
Insta down the survivor if you are near the hatch or in general when you are alone with the killer.Easier implementations:
Close the hatch for 30 seconds as killer like in the PTB, but with it opening after 30 seconds or a gen done. It's not that hard to balance the hatch, devs are just lazy and don't want the hate from entitled survivor mains.
-
Playing like this is not even playing anymore.
It's working.Good job, devs.
Btw. still doesn't make him good.
Just makes him sort of viable, but not really. -

Here's a quick idea:When a killer is standing in the Exit Gate Area, bloodwarden will appear, preventing survivors from leaving through this exit gate. (Only works when there are multiple survivors left in the trial.)
Very simple, yet impactful could help remove a lot of the awkwardnesses we see around the exit gate areas, with survivors waiting to be butt-slapped.
To add to the "Killer is Dangerous" effect, this mini version of bloodwarden makes it so that the killer feels less helpless once the exit gates are open and can punish players who stick around for no valid reason. It creates the incentive to leave when you should be leaving.
What do you guys think?
Making the game less adrenalised.
Patch fix.I know your problem, I am a survivor main and abuse the ######### out of this poor mechanic.
But this is just gonna make end game a pain in the ass.To be honest, I would make it, that theexit gate opening takes more time than it takes now and if they let go of the button, it resets like to 75% if its above that, so they can't abuse the mechanic of opening the exit gate right when the killer comes. Also regression for 5% per second, not touched.
If the exit gate is opened and the survivors don't escape within 30 seconds, the exit gates closes again and the survivors have to reopen it, survivors inside automatically escape. (Timer shown on the screen for which exit gate is meant + aura.) -

@eighttailedfox in no way am i insulting you. I just want to point out that at a rank 16 survivor and a rank 10 killer you probably don't have the experience and or knowledge of the map layout most of your competition does. Why does the matchmaking put you against several red ranks in a SWF then?
I get the problem of the OP, but it's not the match making which is the problem.
It's part of it, but not the main problem, the main problem is the bad balance in the game.
On both sides. If you know the map, you know the game mechanics, a 4 man team, no SWF or SWF will always be better as a team of level 1 dwights with no map knowledge and AS every killer which are not a teleporting beast.
The game is basically inbalance vs. inbalance.
While the killers differ from strength, mobility a lot which is the biggest killer problem, the survivors can just be devastating and qucik in terms of ending the game.
Also luck has a too big impact to the game, wrong gen placements and the killer can abuse the ######### out of it.
While a better placement hurts the killer too much. The map layout can be 100 pallets near by or nearly no pallets near by at all.
It's all a big game of RNG, toxicity and getting the killer or in rare cases, the survivor to rage disconnect.
It's hard for both sides to have fun if one has to loose, not because some people can't loose, but because the rounds are not fair and balanced for both teams equally and there are situations, players can't do anything (like camping, tunneling, gen rushing, t-bagging at the exit gates, pallet towns etc.)
These problems will always be there, dedicated servers will just make the killer gameplay worse, because the devs have shown, they don't know how to properly fix game breaking bugs and/or broken game mechanics.
So I guess killers will have delays when swinging or using their ability, because the game does only have PREDICTED environment for the survivors/also killer movement, nothing else.

@eighttailedfox said:
In actual skill I'm a rank 16 survivor and a rank 10 killer.Yet SWF allows a team of two red ranks and two green to get matched against me. It doesn't matter on my actual skill, because discord literally allows all survivors in SWF to have every single aura perk, simple by talking to each other. And thusly can you use now free perk slots for annoying ######### like DS and Adrenaline.
And then on top of this, the end game gates, survivors just won't leave even when they've bent you over and had their way with you. They stand there Tbagging, and will wait a long ass time, just so the killer can see and know "these survivors are so good, and you suck"
The Rank system is so easy to cheat that it's meaningless. The only real reason people can go up in ranks is because it so damn easy to safety pip and regular pip. Play enough games, and BAM max rank.
This ranked mode, which is the ONLY MODE IN THE GAME. Constantly ingrains the competitive mindset into the playerbase. So as time goes on, and progression is directly connected to how well you do in a match, the toxicity only increases.
Then there's Legion, who negates any skill for both sides, and yet is under powered and overpowered at the same time, and complete garbage. Deep Wound is not threatening at all, and multi hitting multiple survivors just means the first ones you hit already recovered from deep wound. But when you're tunneled against legion, all they have to do is look away, and keep close, and they can force you to fall over. There is no escape.
Why the hell can 3 gens be done within 2 minutes? Since the end of match is get to gate, open gate, when you get gen rushed, it's insanely difficult to stop anyone.
I enjoyed DBD. But there's this constant underlying tone of pain and suffering from all the stupid ######### other players do and say to each other.
DCing should force a player to have a longer wait time between matches, so they actually have a reason not to DC. Not this arbitrarily "you have to have a record of 33% DC rate before devs do anything".
I have uninstalled the game, because I know the devs don't care about fixing SWF or the toxicity. They'd rather churn out a 8 dollar dlc every 3 months, so their gravy train never stops rolling.
Dedicated servers will not fix these problems, because lag is not the problem with DBD. It's the people, and the competitive mindset that are the problem.
So I'm done with this game. I can't handle every match ending with someone teabagging, and then calling me a N-word in post game chat.
PS: Within the first 5 replies to this, someone will call me salty. Someone will insult me. And someone will think I'm a thin skinned baby. Because all this community knows is garbage and filth. There's no ounce of humanity to be seen, and the few glimpses that shine through, are quickly dragged through the mud.
I just hope, one day, that this can change. That there will be something meaningful to gain by being a part of this community. but for now, there is only darkness.
Just played a few rounds to farm BP for my tryhard invisible claudette.
I was beaten to death as a poor strategic hag killer which put down all her traps, just to see 3 gens pop with ruin and after a few seconds, a destroyed ruin.
I've made 2 hooks mid game, but adrenaline and DS gave me the rest.I got like 20k with 2 Party Streamers and Double BP.
All of my traps were also destroyed within 20 seconds, because they knew the locations, had flashlights and just popped them, because I was unavailabe to teleport (picking up a survivor at the time).
My NOED didn't matter either, they did the totem in a few seconds. They effectively used 2-3 pallets the whole game and I've made 3 hooks and 1 kill, but only because I began camping the last one.

You're right, the rank 20 players play as if they're in console rank 1 since all the survivors stay there to bully baby killers. Rank 1 in console is on the level of rank 1 on PC.
It's not.
I played console dbd on a friends console.
it was so easy as survivor.
I played like 10-20 rounds and every single one of them, easily do able.
@mcNuggets
I've played DbD on pc till last summer and i've been playing it on console since september.
You were either lucky or your survivor rank was 20-15, but i can confirm that there are really good players on console and rank 1 is the same for both console and PC.
Not only that, playing as a killer on console is more challenging than on pc.I know that for sure.
They had a hard time getting a hit on me, because of the lag and the controls.I played on rank 1 on my friends playstation.

Yes it is a overrated Perk. Now im not saying that Ruin is bad in anyway but what im saying is that it is not a top 5 Perk AT ALL! Hex No One Escapes Death is BETTER than Ruin. Ruin sucks compared to NOED. As i main Killer and Rank 1 after every reset I personally stopped using Ruin as much as i did in the previous resets and have been using other Hex perks instead. The first problem with Ruin is that there are not enough spawn locations for Hex Totems so I believe there are 3 or 4 spawn locations for them and high rank Survivors know where these spawn locations are. You can go and look at your Ruin's location but you obviously cant protect it and as soon as your in a chase goodbye Ruin.. This sometimes happens within the first two minutes of the game.
The absolute worst case scenario is when it spawns right next to the Survivors spawn location. I recently had Ruin destroyed within 20 seconds of the game. That's bad!! Of course in my head im like man, I could have just used Brutal Strength or something. Survivors spawning right next to the Ruin is not something that happens all the time but its also not too uncommon.
I feel should either one, add two more spawn locations for Hex Totems or replace some of the spawn locations. I remember seeing a Hex Totem right outside the Killer Shack right out in the open and im like "Im screwed with Ruin this game" They're gonna see that! I've seen some pretty bad locations where Hex Totems spawn and i know you all have as well. Even The Hag who is the best at defensive options cant protect it long enough because people crouch to the spawn locations. Since I main Hag and play three other Killers, as Hag i place multiple traps in the area to better so called secure my Ruin Totem. One game i even placed 4 traps and none of them triggered. That's hardcore
Like i mentioned before i stopped Running Ruin so much and i've been focusing on playing without it. I actually replaced Ruin with Hex: The Third Seal with my main Killer or Devour Hope. I also have been focusing on dual Perks that are better than Ruin, so i basically replace Ruin and one of my staple Perks to compensate for Ruin.
Ruin can get bodied within the first minute of the game and all you Killer mains like me, i know this has happened to you multiple times so in my honest opinion again, Hex Totems need more Spawn locations. I must admit that sometimes the locations are pretty well hidden and can utilize this but then in the back of my mind im like in the end they know all the spawn locations. If Survivors DONT happen to know spawn locations it can work as it takes time off of doing Gens with them looking for it. I've been in games where I intercepted or chased Survivors away from Ruin only for SWF Survivors to tell them "Hey Im being chased" Ruin is in X location. Lol Im pretty sure you all have encountered this scenerio maybe more than a few times
Ruin is not overrated, you must be drunk.
When not immediatly found it is a extremely powerful perk, when not the most powerful, because in the first 2 minutes the game decides, if you get any kills or none at all (rank1)lol smh Actually Ruin is like i've said many times already "slightly" overrated and once again i say this because of how fast it can get bodied. I mention that using dual perks is sometimes better than using Ruin. Im a very insightful person and im a thinker so please find another way to communicate your disagreement to something i say because saying "im drunk" is clearly an insult and will get us no where....
If your a kid then...I guess that['s differentThere is no way 2 perks combined are better than ruin, regarding gen progression stopping.
But keep trying to imply that. -

so your opinion is that "It used to be worse" is more important than "it's still not viable the majority of the time?" play more killer and you will be begging for killer buffs, its that simple. I'm a survivor main pretty much only because fun killers feel weak AF, and the survivors tend to be absurdly toxic overtop of it. I play survivor because its just easier and less stressful. That should not be the case. This +100

The hag is a good killer, but not fun to play against or to play as. You constantly have to break chases and is especially good in defending hooks. But her potential of downing is fairly low. @mcNuggets
Well, it's fun for me to play as her.
* The only reason why i break chases is because survivors are working on a gen that i don't want to be finished.
Well, i always run MYC with her so if they unhook someone i go for the rescuer. It's easy to catch them because usually either they trigger the traps or they crouch and can't go very far. Flashlights are a great counter, but you can always bring FD.
Her potential of downing survivors is certainly not low. Loops are inexistent when the area is trapped already and one of my favourite mind games is when you put a trap on one side of the pallet, they trigger it and quickly go to the other side of the pallet and drop it expecting you to teleport, but you won't teleport

Her potential of downing survivors is especially low, because of her speed.
I mained her a while back and I disliked the style she had to be played in order to get a 3k-4k on rank 1 against viable survivors.
You have to place traps and if a map has for example 20-25 loop spots, you can trap 10, but not another.
So there is a 50% chance when someone goes to a loop, they trigger a trap.
If you place down all of your traps, atleast 2 gens could pop in that time.
You need 3 traps for a good survivor to go down. (Because of second chance perks)
If you manage to catch them off guard, on a loop etc., they ain't decent survivors or they allowed you to hit them, because they made a mistake.
I played a lot of devastating rounds with her, but I dislike the playstyle of her very much, because a lot of "camping" is involved and you can't let yourself get into long chases, which is the most fun of the game for me.
viable survivors:
She has potential, but only if she downs a survivor within the first 2 minutes, otherwise 3 gens will pop and even if she manages to get a down, the other two pop immediatly after that.
You can say you dislike her playstyle, but not that her potential of downing survivors is low.
She's slow for a very good reason, and no, the Hag doesn't involve "camping". Whoever needs to camp with the Hag doesn't know how to use her.
I dont know if you played against a good team in your whole dbd playthrough, but a good team can dominate her well.
In order for her traps to even function, she needs to PLACE them down, which needs time, allowing 3 generators do be done, because no survivor is chased this time.
Efficient survivors will just end the round with 1 kill for her, if she camps.
The hag is a good killer, but shes not top tier.
I can get my swf right now and we can have a friendly competitive match and I promise you, you won't get a kill at all.

Well Deliverance is meant to be like a last resort sort of thing IMO, you are usually better off letting someone else save you since then you could heal. You should be using if you are NOT going to get saved. If people knew you had it they might just not save you, and while you could save yourself again if they can save and heal you that's the optimal play.60 seconds not being able to heal is a joke, just loop the time.
If the killer really comes back to tunnel you down in order to get his kills, a 14 seconds heal at the hook isn't gonna help you at all. -
The devs are smart.
Letting us do healing actions while everyone just runs self care, lol. -

Decisive Strike is balanced.
A free off with the counter play wasting your own time (which works 10% of the time) or to waste two perk slots to make it less powerful but still effective is definteley balanced.Just get on my decisive level.
But tbh. 3 gen strat or nurse is equal to decisive strike, if we talk about the fun factor.
Please.
even the devs admitted that it is broken in its current state.
Oh and btw the survivors maneuvering themselves into a 3 gen strat is equal to DS? K bro
You cant do anything against 3 gen strat if the killer really goes for it.
My post was sarcasm and obviously DS is overpowered and needs a nerf, but things as the nurse or 3 gen strats are as much fun to play against, as DS, because you can't counter it by any means, especially if a killer runs perks for 3 gen strats.

They used to have more meaning or more effects on the match, but the drastic ones that added fog or a darker moonlight have been removed. Offerings are indeed quite useless in terms of affecting anything inside of the match, as no particular offering has killed nor saved me but what would they become if they were more involved in gameplay? Another issue of balance, that is what. And unfortunately they get enough hassle about that as it is.They just removed the lighting offerings, because they were too stupid to figure lighting on maps.

Legends say, these are the new brand new parts which are about to be released to give killers the rest.

You are aware that the mechanics of BBQ, right?
If you don't see an aura, there is supposed to be a survivor near.
With distortion, and lockers blocking BBQ, killers will likely get false results.Kinda unfair to blame the killer for that.
Especially if someone other than Jeff is running Distortion.Oh yeah, my bad, I forgot camping is a legit strategy
Same goes for looping.
I get camped nearly every round, but I don't complain, I know the huge imbalance btw. killers and survivors.
I can understand killers camping. -

It's so easily counterable when it's on the obsession and it's very unlikely to activate when it's on a non-obsession player. How exactly is this perk too strong? You definitely get to 35% wiggle percentage in 3 possible tries.
About NOED:
NOED can be totally annulated, decisive strike cannot and their owners have always 3 chances of using it.
4x3 = 12If ANY survivor would only have 1 chance, it wouldnt be a problem and would be the same as NOED, but it is not.
Also NOED only works in the endgame, decisive strike works always.
You gotta hit it aswell :P some moments can be stressfull. It's 50/50.
Everyone doesn't always have decisive.
Think a bit moreA killer doesnt always have noed and the killer still has to hit a survivor. lol

You are perfectly safe and can't be punished for being a total moron at the gate.

He feels really weak but once you get used to him the results aren't that bad.I think buffs need to be considered carefully. He isn't as weak as people think.
If they go ahead with the buff where it only takes 3 frenzy hits to down people he could become the most annoying killer. There would be no escaping.
He only is good when you play them like a scum bag.
Like attacking someone, WAITING and downing them.
While a hillbilly can insta down, lol. -

I had fun as survivor today, while I played 2 killer rounds just for the dailies were horrible.
The new update ruined the killer experience altogether.
I have DELAYS when doing stuff, the pickup speed is slow again, survivors teleport to their advantage, I can't see #########, it's too dark and blurry.I had much fun as survivor, but not as killer, I just played for 2 dailies though. (One daily is bugged, I played a wraith round for no ######### reason)

So there isn't less pallets on the maps, closed off windows to long loops, less safe pallets, and you're getting smoked on the best killer map...well damn? The game needs more pallets than most maps. The entire map except for two rooms one on top and bottom is a dead zone. Loops will always be a thing, there is no other way to efficiently evade a killer for more than 2 seconds, it's even harder to get from one safe zone to the next now. Also, I'm curious what alternative to looping do killer mains propose?
The best killer map LUL. The Game has waaaaaaaaaaayyyyy too many pallets especially considering how many windows there are in close proximity as well and how small the square footage is. That map used to be good for killers but now? No way.
The thing with the game map is, survivors need a lot of time to getting used to it.
The totems are well hidden, so are the gens, the heart beat is irritating and even with a lot of pallets, which are 90% safe, it' still hard to win with weak survivors.
Strong survivors however will do what they are used to do with killers.I as a newly formed survivor main love the map.
Especially in SWF.How are you able to basement survivors?
You have two safe pallets to stop survivors getting brought into the basement. How can killers 3 gen start survivors?
All gens are far away and you perfectly hear and see the killer coming and have enough time to hide. But the end game is the most pathetic.
On each side of the gates, there is a pallet for 100% in like 2m distance from the gate.
How are you even supposed to get downed there, haha. The Game map is one of my favorite maps and only doctors or solo survivor gameplay can make me loose.
I love how you are able to counter nurse by playing above the ground and running in front of the nurse while she blinks. I had so much fun with it. -

Killers wouldnt tunnel and camp if they were viable.
This is very true.....
where did that LOL button go?
we've literally had killers on this forum say they camp just to ruin the round for other people, quite proudly in fact.
If camping wasn't a working strategy, they wouldn't because.
Most of the campers/tunneleres ain't camping & tunneling, because they like to ruin games, but to win the game. -
Nah, in DbD toxiciety practically doesn't exist.
In my 1000 hours, I never experienced such a thing, I swear by the mighty gods! -

" a bunch of stuff that was wrong"You are straight up using him wrong.
Oh I love this part. Please enlighten me on the correct way to use Legion.
It's easy. Go to where survivors are, freny, hit them, when you are on the last person, hit him twice, stun out of frenzy.
then, you let them leave. Count to 3, the chase ends, they bleed out FAST, you follow the blood, try not to start chase to soon, pop frenzy, get hook
Or they run to a pallet and start mending and laugh at you while you can't do anything. I mean sure, you can just sit there and wait for your power to come back, but that only further supports my "least fun killer in the game" debate. You get an unavoidable hit, sit there, and get another unavoidable hit. That is just awful design, I don't care how effective or ineffective it is.
Your power comes back fast, you only need 1-2 seconds to smack them and down them. If they are by a pallet it's a free down.
I'll record a video tonight and post it for you.
Everybody can record a video of himself doing good with ANY killer. Monto has a 3k video with burger king myers (tier 1 myers with 100% ms and no increased lunge) in a 3v1 match where survs didn't do any gens and a 4k video right after
Then watch my stream and watch me pip about every game with him?
That wasn't my point, my point was to record a video showing how to do what I'm saying to do. AKA, a guide.Pretty much the best killers of this community say he's trash but here you are showing us a guide on a straightforward character that you think nobody figured out. Breaking the [BAD WORD] chase so the timer ticks down is an obvious choice esp since mending doesn't stop the timer anymore unless they're at 99%, he still sucks even with that tactic which basically guarantees you down somebody.
They call killers bad while 4king with them.
Some even call hag bad.
Get your own opinion. Hey, letting the chase break might seem obvious, but considering the OP didn't mention it, maybe you should chill out.
In facto downing a survivor, hag is bad.
But downing is essential for the game to even work. -
Hitting someone with the attack of the legion shouldnt automatically get them to deep wound state, they should still get injured 1 time and then go into deep wound state.
The legion should be normal speed and have a 16-24 meter terror radius, the deep wound should still kill, when getting chased.
With this changes, the frenzy should stop after hitting 1 player, when no player is in reach.

Here is some of my input to increase the fun and rewarding experience in the game. I will only come with some idea input and opinions, but i will try and stay away from numbers, as that is up to the devs to decide.Survivors: Survivors bloodpoint gains needs to be improved overall. All scoring events should be slightly increased and there should be new ones added, especially in the stealthy gameplay category. Right now there is a major unbalance between getting bloodpoints as killer and survivor in the killers favor. Im not saying it should be as easy, but definatly increased.
This one i feel is the most needed for this game, playing survivors feel so unrewarding. And i think some of the toxicity would go away if survivors didn't feel they just wasted 5 minutes of their life if they get camped right of the bat.
Kindred should be a base part of survivors kit (bringing up solo survivors up to par with SWF).
More items, implement the firecrackers.General. I think the maximum bloodpoint gains that you can achieve should be increased, as of now (especially as killer) i can have an amazing match. but way before its over i have reached max bloodpoint gain in several categories, this discourages me to continue playing and often will just make me afk or try to end the game quickly so i can earn points again.
More offerings that alter the game.
Season rewards NEEDS to be a thing, i remember they talked about wanting to implement this in one of their streams like 2 years ago, It doesn't need to be something major, but SOMETHING please.
Daily rituals, weekly rituals, Seasonal rituals and challenges, implement something for us to work towards except for the massive grind, so we can have small accomplishment momments along the way.
Leaderboards would be nice. And personal stats.
There should be an icon for how many totems that's left for both survivors and killers, so that solo survivors get SWF info and killers should just have this info outright, Also give different HEXES different aura color for killers.
The Pig: MASSIVE increase in deviousness points score. Only 250 for ambush attack is just silly, and the difficulty of actually pulling it off is insane compared to some others, i can lay down 2,5 traps as the trapper and i've earned as much. This should be trippeled and maybe add more scoring events like hitting someone with a RBT or stalking with the crouch.
And also decrease the time it takes to get in and out of crouch.Myers: Same here but not as massive increase to deviousness point gain, especially while stalking, and maybe gain and scoring for hitting someone out of stalk or in tier 3.
And also either get rid of the double drain of stalking multiple survivors without getting more stalk or give him a slight bonus when stalking multiple survivors.Doctor: He should either have the same speed in treatment mode as punishment mode. Or have longer base shock range, right now he is not very viable at shocking people without any range addons.
Trapper: He should carry 2 traps as default and be able to reset traps that are on the ground.
Hillbilly: He should have his flick back, this was something good player could do and all skill based mechanics are something this game really need, the skill ceiling for some killers are so low its not even funny. (Hillbilly is not one of them, but the removal of this mechanic was completely unnecessary).
Wraith: His reaparence should be decreased slightly, and the going into stealth should take like 0.5 seconds one ring and he's invicible, the last one doesn't make him stronger but it would be so much more fun.
Clown: his reload speed should be decreased. And the point gain slightly increased, and a direct bottle toss should do something more than nothing.
Spirit: The time you can get a grudge scoring event should last as long as wraiths scoring event lasts.
Leatherface: He needs a rework, the only thing he is good at is what people hate "camping".
Sorry for any misspelling, english isn't my native language. Feel free to add if there's something you feel also should be improved upon, but try to stay away from straight up buffs. I know some of these would go under the "buff" category but they don't seem/feel gamebreaking.
Survivors shouldnt get a BP increase, the BP they gain is the same as for every killer, but they get BP very inbalanced and only when getting chased + doing gens, stealth is not really counted.
While killers get BP for their overall performance. -
Thats part of the game.
It should stay like that.Gives killers the opportunity to equip a specific loadout.

Not every SWF is skilled tho.
A reallly skilled SWF will beat any killer (besides) nurse without any counter play.Yet people manage to beat those teams with killers besides those 2.
Games of the length of 4 minutes with insta heal and decisive strike + communication are not winnable without a nurse.
Ok here goes the new timer excuse so to speak before it was games were under 3 minutes and you put in an artificial timer to bolster your argument. Throw out the fake determined timer nonsense along with the predetermined loadouts.
I've destroyed 4 insta heals/DS/DH/SC/AD SWF teams before because I didn't play how they wanted me too. I played according to how I wanted to and and took advantage of their teamwork and assumptions on how I'd play.
Oh sure i've gotten my butt kicked as well by those teams but those were more foten me playing poorly and not taking advantage of their mistakes.
>Survivors HAVE to mess up in the first place in order for a killer to get a down.
Yes and no since you as a killer can force mistakes and not depend on them doing something stupid. If you're constantly being reactionary waiting for them to screw up you're gong to lose every time.
Otherwise they can loop you for atleast 3-4 minutes if they use all the pallets + windows effectively and guess how long gens take?
If they're looping you for that long you deserve to lose plain and simple.
There are games where however you good you play you only get 0-1 kills out of it and in the end chat get flamed and insulted.
There's games where you 4k and get flamed and insulted and there's games where you have scores all over the place and get a gg.
Of course, the main problem isn't SWF, but gen rushing and the capability of survivors finishing rounds, within 3-4 minutes, if skilled enough. (with the usage of overpowered perks)
Oh good grief just stop already, as I said earlier the 3 minute excuse got overused so now it's the 4 minute excuse. If you're losing games in under 4 minutes so often it's not SWF that's the problem it's you.
Marth88 already made 2 "experiments" where it shows how unbalanced playing killer really is, the devs just answered with "We never said it's balanced".
Yes 4 pro caliber players I.E. the top 0.1% of the player base went up against random killers including ones doing dailies on killers they don't know how to play. Yeah that's a legitimate experiment alright and given all the talk about how rank in meaningless since it's super easy to rank up.
If you really wanted that to be considered valid where's the controls, where's the stuff to keep out confirmation bias, Why not choose 4 random players with around 500 hours each or so which would probably be the average player base.
Then put those 4 together and have them do that experiment, the results would be vastly different but much more realistic. They'd also be much more representative of the overall player base..
I don't know how people even imply the game is balanced.
Most of us acknowledge that the game needs more balancing but we don't use all the excuses in the book and blame swf for everything. I think that if a solo lobby was created and you lot were all stuck there forever without ever being able to leave.
That nothing at all would change you'd just come up with some new excuse or complaint or you'd simply blame swf sneaking into your solo lobbies.
All you say is, you destroyed some good swf players and therefore SWF and the game is balanced.
One of my arguments was, that solo players can also destroy killers with near to no counter play.If you dominate a survivor team (swf or not), they had to mess up greatly and everything could be avoided by them with the right strategy.
As killer (not nurse obv) you don't stand a chance against good survivors, no matter how good you are.
If you verse 4 really good survivors with the right perks, you are just not able to win. Also the experiment was on rank 1, if casual killer players are on rank 1, they would atleast have some knowledge about how to play killer, also playing killer really isn't that hard.
They also had time in the lobby to prepare themselves for the game too.The experiment just showed how inbalanced the game is, nothing more, nothing less.
Every killer player had the same chance to win and they versed people on the red ranks.I am not searching any excuses, I don't know why you accuse me of that, I am not even a fleshed out killer main, I am playing both roles equally, but I have eyes and can see the inbalance.
Whenever I play survivor, I just feel, I am the power role and I don't need to fear #########.Btw. playing in a SWF give you a huge advantage you don't have as solo player, that's a fact, if you like it or not.
Solo players can still ######### over killers like SWFs, I never questioned that though, but it's harder to do so, which makes it more balanced. If you really want proof about how bad killers really are, you could try to dominate me and my friends as a ordinary killer and we see how it ends for ya
