Dude survivors fps was far More better than for killers cuz killers fps was so low that it was almost unplayable... I Lost everyone i chased because i couldn't see.
The fps is terrible on both sides. I agree 100%. Play any of the farm maps and survivors have a 50/50 shot of losing the killer because of how bad it is. I had to burn a perk for predator because of it. I understand. This isn't survivor vs killer though. This is console vs BHVR. We desperately need console optimization. I refuse to spend any money on cosmetics or a new chapter until the fps improves. I am currently playing way less then i use to because of the frame drop. I can't see the point of investing more money in the game.

The idea being that survivors being equal will allow them to balance the killer more in buffs or nerfs of survivor perks. Several of the maps are severe disadvantages for the killers. I really hope we get back to the frame rate before 2.0 at this point. It has always been not great but after 2.0 it is has gotten worse. Spawning in as killer on shelter woods makes me just want the match over as quick as possible.

It took me to lvl 50 to get my Dwight Leader III..My 1st characters level perfectly. Meg and Nea got their perks to lvl 3 quickly and I was pleased.
M. Myers got his perks to lvl 3 quickly and I was pleased.So whats the deal with the BROKEN progression in this game?? Why wouldnt the web prioritize each characters "Flavor" perks 1st?

There are 3 kinds of DCs.
1st: technical Issues, Real Life things. Game Crash to Desktop, Internetconnection is broken for a short time, Telephne rings or a fresh hot pizza is delivered at the door. - There is NO Problem with all of that and similar things.
2nd: The "I see, There is, I dont like" - Disconnecters.
Most time you will find them on surv side. the match starts, the first mate screams because of the doctors Madness, and BAM one is gone. He dont want to play against the doctor. Or the next one finds a jigsawbox on the map and DCs becaus he dont want to play against the Pig. And so on.3rd: The "I Teabag you and when you catch me i DC" - players. The worst of all.
They ran into your sight, flashlightklick you hard, makes moves with their arms and start to juke you. After every pallet they teabag and IF, but only IF you hit them down, they DC immediatly. Because you are not allowed to knock them down, of course. If you are a lucky killer and get the teabagger at a hook befor he DCs you you get points at least.So in a ranked gamemode, why is that allowed by the game? The DCer is gone and starts over the next round. The difficulty for the other 3 survs increases, their chances of higrank pip decreases just because of such (sorry for that ->) idiots.
I suggest a Lobby joining delay for every DCer. (If a killer dodge a lobby (close it befor all got ready) there is already a timer of 5 seconds. So the mechanism is already in the game.
Let me tell you what i think should happen.
1 (first) DC - 2 or 5 mins Delay. Thats also ok for Phonecalls or the hot Pizza that is delivered
2nd DC 5 or 10 minutes
3rd DC 15 or 20 minutesHere comes a cut and we call it Stage one Delay
Now we start Stage two Delay
4 DC 30 mins
5 DC 45 Mins
6 DC 90 Mins
More DC 2h DelayWhen a DCer has a delay he just can play kyf and tutorial. No swf, no solo surv, no killer. The delay counter also counts if the player closes the game and does something else of course.
Sounds hard? It HAVE TO BE hard.
But what about to reset the DC counter? In my opinion i would say every 13th of a Month should reset the DC counter for every player for free. you know what i mean.But hey the Devs can use the InGame Shop for reset the counter too. It helps the game, the devs and all fair players
Add an item to the store that resets the stage one delay. It cost an amount of "The blue things you get at levelup". (because technical and reallife issues and reasons for DCs also have a fair chance to reset) maybe limit that item to 1-3 per month to prevent abusing.
Add another item to the store for resetting stage 2 delays. That HAVE to cost auric cells. (for all that Kind 2 and 3 DCers
)
If you want a fair play you limit that item to 1 per month. if you want to earn money you sell it multiple times - its your choice :chuffed:I read somewhere here that devs are able to see, how a DC was about. if it has been over pause menu or network error. dont know if this is correct, but if it is, this could be also used to identify the kind 2 and 3 DCers maybe.
All of this is just an idea that would help ALL of the fair players and the devs also. It can be balanced of course. its just the basic model i would prefer.
When someone want to avoid a lobby. he should leave before thje match starts or he should at least get hooked and let himself die to leave the match. (noone needs to stay in spectator mode of course. i dont think thats a classical DC and shouldnt be punished)
Hope you like it - It would help alot. really alot. DC ing is one of the biggest problem in DBD

Adding Jason and Ghostface to dead by daylight would be huge. Michael, Freddy, Jason, Leatherface and Ghostface that line up alone if you are a horror fan would bring you to the game.

Have fun with this unique game.I agree with most of what you said with a few exceptions. The lower you go the more toxic and better are the players but the experience is worth as much as the perks. If you learn what loops you can't break, or when to break off chase, manage your time, and learn to anticipate where the survivor is going so you can cutoff and intercept that experience is highly valuable and will make you more efficient. In the low ranks you don't see as much of that.
Situations you can't "win". Depends on how you define that. If you face 4swf, 4ds and two with Alex's toolbox clearing a whole area as a safe hook zone, if you kill 2 that to me is a win.

Kind of cool if that is the case. We will have to see what the power and perks will be for killer and perks for survivor. They last several releases have been mixed and underwhelming, Survivor perks Tapp, Quentin, and Kate. Freddy(ok), Pig,(weak), Clown (mixed but nothing game changing).

If i'm going to buy the chapter i prefer it to be licensed. It is more mid to low tier perks on both characters. I may skip it.

Ummmm Thanks?!?! I think she is useless and ducks and covers when things go wrong. BTW i unlike others have never watched her stream or harassed her on it. For me it isn't a personnel vendetta it is my honest opinion of her as the community manager. We have so much passion and commitment from people in this community do you not think we could get someone more engaging?

As you get out of the garbage ranks you have better teammates. As you get lower as killer you face better players and not garbage survivors. Glad you are having fun. You may want to block communication on ps4 the lower you go as killer. Consider it a quality of life adjustment.

I don't even bother anymore same garbage no real information. They will add whatever nerfs and buffs anyway that may or may not make it out of the ptb, and troll everyone with chapter teasers and stupid lore questions about the entities favorite condiment. Any major happenings are almost completely dismissed and disregarded.

I think it is tied to the primary account. If i buy anything for fortnite only my account gets it and not my son. He gets all the dlc chapters i bought for DBD but none of my auric cell unlocked clothes. I don't think it will work.

I agree they could go in a whole direction with it. After the event. The killers could be given an utlra rare offering for a bad generator(but not at the cost or rarity maybe 2 per blood web) and the idea of giving the hex perks a counter balance if it is a activated Hex and you break it you face a consequence(injured 1 state, exhausted, exposed, blind, etc). You can extend the game and potential give an edge to killers.

Depending on the reaction maybe add the totem element in the game after to help with running hex totems, the killer's removal of a chest instead becomes an ultra rare and traps all chests putting a survivor in a dying state. It would also help add to the hidden offerings, Mori, Chest Booby trap, start apart. Again making people think and have to process more information.

Dull totems could injury when cleansed, give the exposed effect, third seal blind, give the killer reduced terror radius, etc and it would be only one totem per match with the effect chosen at random per match. People would have to really think about actions and not run on auto pilot

Emtpy Chests / trapped chests with say one having something good. They could make chest offerings no good during the event just grey them out so they can't be burnt. When the generator is fixed or the bad hook used an low evil laugh can be heard. I really like this idea.

I like that idea. An April fools type gimmick. Special Event 7 generators 1 after completion doesn't work maybe explodes and injuries a survivor. We can't leave the Killer's out so if there are say for example 18 hooks two would break when you try to hook the person. Some people would not like it, but others might.
