- Prove Thyself - Helping with gens
- We'll make it - Helping with heals, can come in clutch in some cases.
- Dead Hard - Helps with your survivability, essentially chases. Feel free to use another exhaustion perk of your choice.
- Iron Will - Stealth
This is the build I use.
You can drop We'll make it for BT if you want.
I think I will try this out but I'm concerned about the fact there are 2 Meta perks Dead hard and Iron Will

@Pilot said:
What's your current build looking right now?
If it were me, I'd choose Iron Will.
Dead hard even though it's nice and the 2nd chance is great. Let's be honest it's dead hard, it can bug and you might not get any value out of it.
Iron Will however, you just equip it and get value out of it. Not mentioning if you're playing a loud survivor ( I'm looking at you Jeff ) this will completely muffle those sounds. The best part, you're taking killer's hearing away from them, since he can't track you anymore with your grunts. Add ontop of this, all of the stealth plays you can make.
I'm trying to make a versatile build. Something that helps with or find gen, one that helps with stealth, one to help with chases, and one to help my team or healing.
Figuring out if I should use dead hard or Iron Will will help me make my build.

I almost never take off Bond, Leader, and Visionary these days for a number of reasons.
Bond - it just gives so much information, and super helpful when I need healing.
Leader - because Sloppy is meta. Plus it helps with a lot of clutch moments.
Visionary - because I HATE trying to find gens on indoor maps, and I HATE how often other solo survivors will accidentally 3 gen all of us if I don’t identify the gens I need to work onto avoid that.
4th perk I’ll mix up. Often it’s Open Handed for obvious reasons. Sometimes I’ll change that to either Botany Knowledge or Desperate Measures so I can heal others faster. Sometimes Vigil because although killers running Blindness add ons is very rare, it’s still very crippling to me when it happens because I’m quite reliant on Bond and Visionary now. Sometimes I’ll use WoW for extra info, and sometimes Sole Survivor, because I hate, HATE, HATE wall hack Wraith, Pig, and Myers.
I thought I was the only one who used visionary.

I have a solo build
1. Spine chill, Bond, Dead Hard and Wake Up.
I'm trying to make a second one but idk what yet.
-
I get what your saying but if you were to change gen speeds to be slower wouldn't you have to change perks that slow generators?
-
I have gotten frame rate drops for survivors as well.
-
I don't think I can ever run No mither. It can mean a permanent debuff to your team if the killer has thanataphobia.
-
Detectives Hunch is really underrated. I have it in one of my builds

I am surprised this is new to you because you are not new to this game.
Both sides can be horrible and sometimes I just feel like sideing with a killer if my teammates were all toxic. Give up so they can at least get some points from my death.
It is rare to actually see some nice people and I am ready to sacrifice for them because it feels right to me. Teammate or killer.
It's just seems new to me because ever since crossplay I have never gotten messages from other survivors. And I try my best to be kind in the game so I never really receive hate.

Object, Iron Will, Dead Hard (Smash Hit when it comes out) and a fun perk like deception or something.
Why not off the record?
-
Ok so hypothetically say you were going to use object, what would be your build?
-
I have 2 solo builds
Spine chill, Bond, Dead Hard, and Wake up
And
Iron Will, Prove Thyself, Better Together, Spine chill or premonition.
-
I like your build. I think I will try it out botney knowledge more.
I have 2 solo builds at the moment.
Bond, spine chill, dead hard and wake up
And my second is
Iron will, prove thyself, spine chill, and better together or Detectives Hunch.
-
Why don't survivors get points for running the killer each gen? Isn't that like a distraction points
-
When my survivor team don't take responsibility for their screw up.

No, Nurse is not fine.
Her power is so broken that it needs to be removed from the game entirely.
Sir I used to be like you. I thought it was impossible but it's very well possible to do good enough to help your team.
If you want help against nurse some of the people on this very post have given me tips to play against her.

@Crowman said:
Gearhead just needs to remove the skill check requirement and just show you gens being worked on while the perk is active.
Your right that's a better effect.
-
@Chilli_man2400 said:
there okay but there still not good enough to be used.
For Buckle up I would make it so if you heal a survivor from dying to injured or from injured to healthy, you and the survivor you healed see the killers aura for 6/7/8 seconds. This would make the perk better cause your constantly going to be healing and seeing where the killer is every time you heal someone would be excellent.
For Gearhead I don’t like this change it’s basically Hex:Ruin 2 but unlimited no ######### way that would come into the game. I would just remove the basic attack requirement and make it so when the perk is active you see what gens are being worked on currently with a yellow aura for 20/25/30 seconds.
Your right about gearhead. I will think of something else for that.
I would probably not put that effect for Buckle Up since it could have too good of an effect with other healing perks.

I like that their are some perks in the game that are actually selfish in nature even if they’re usual self sabotaging in a team play aspect. It would be boring if all perks encouraged and revolve around teamwork. Idk if it’s just me but having one viable strategy of escape is massively boring. Even if surviving solo is harder and less likely to happen it is still possible and perks like self preservation only lessens that difficulty. Even if their effects “suck”.

Yeah i know i'm just saying that style of play will actually kill you since your team won't last as long hence disregarding the name and meaning behind the perk it completely sucks even it's effect sucks.
I think the only thing they can do to not make it suck is just giving it a new effect it's just not worth running, ever.
I Think this buff gives the survivors a choice. If they want to use it to save someone else they can but if they want to use it to get away then you can as well.

I see what you mean but that defeats the purpose of her perk as it is called “Self Preservation”, an ultimately selfish perk. Having it benefit others would not make sense for her perceived character and the perk’s intended purpose.
Yeah your right. I would just keep both scratch marks and haste status.
-
Let's just hope those frame drops don't transfer over to console.

The feral frenzy fov is so hunched and closed in that it's hard for them to see a lot of what's happening, if you move irregularly it helps.
Additionally unless the legion is smart and steps back 99% of the time juicing into a spin is an easy dodge. It's easier with a flashlight click it in their face right before the spin (not in a toxic way it just rotates your survivor 180°). This baits most killers into a swing you can easily spin
Thank you
-
To be honest I would like some tricks on how to dodge frenzy hits.
-
@Chchchcheryl said:
It IS a good perk but if you run deliverance the game deliberately spawns you directly next to the killer.
Yes. Every time I run deliverance the killer is right next to me. I feel like the game does it deliberately to spite me.
-
I would say so yes. It have great synergy with DS and Breakdown and saves your team time. But you got to make sure your not hooked first.
-
I feel im getting better at not using dead hard and i have escaped a few times. So no

My dream for DBD is for there to be a community workshop where every member, no matter the device can download custom icons and change however they please
I want that dream too

Ideally console would get a workshop for custom icons so everyone can enjoy
Wait huh? What do you mean?
-
I agree. As a survivor main I feel terrible that killers are bullied. It's not right no one should bully anyone.
I'm sorry that happened to you.
-
I would say just give it a different effect since it's overshadowed by No Way Out.
-
Yeah he most definitely need the ricochet basekit. I would probably also make it so that the survivor goes into deep wound if they lose a health state due to the knives.
-
I so happy. Even though I'm on console I'm happy people can enjoy them
-
I see power struggle and Smash hit being a good synergy.
And Starstruck and agitation could be a good combo as well. Maybe with iron grasp.
-
I think one problem with the killer is that you could have done so much more. If you think about it the recent killers and their teasers all had wasted potential.
-
Honesty it's countered by stealth and wake up. If you can be stealthy for 40 seconds then I think your good. It's also countered by keys.
Looks like I'm going to have to dust off my blendette
-
They posted something on Twitter
-
I'm not sure what your talking about?
-
I feel that if you were to change hatch you would have to also change the doors in some way since the doors aren't the most reliable option a lot of the time.
-
I think some are forbidden and taboo.
In order to minimize that risk i usually tend to take only a medkit and maybe a toolbox if I'm feeling it. But I tend to only use items found in the chest.
-
I would say to nerf it by limiting the number of times you can use dead hard but possibly shorten the distance. Put it on a token system. 3 tokens and afterwards it's permanently deactivated.
-
My solo build is this
Spine chill
Dead Hard
Bond/ better together
Wake up.
It's fun to use. Also I admire that you use premonition.
-
Oh killers just wanna have fun
That's all they really want.
( can you guess the song)
But in all seriousness as a survivor main I would say play however you want as long as it's not toxic I guess.

I didn't say it doesn't happen at all. I, in fact, said I believe people that say it has happened to them anecdotally. Please read my previous posts before you make a false claim about my statements.
I said it happens so rarely that there isn't even enough comparable evidence to put it side by side with the Survivor equivalent.
Ok I will admit and say sorry for not reading clearly.
I'm sorry if I'm coming off a bit strong I just don't want toxicity from any side, either it be killer or survivor.

Do you need your hand held when crossing the street as well?
What do you mean?
If your saying that people don't need to be told those kinds of things then I would sorta disagree. People can interpret things in many different ways and in some ways that are completely incorrect. You could have a person use that interpretation to be toxic to all survivors. It's possible.
So in order to relive that ambiguity and destroy the possibility of that happening we should be more specific and clear.
(Do I sound like the thought police? Because I don't want to sound like them)

Okay. I'll mention everything. Here is a screenshot I made in my Paint program of all the nasty comments I have gotten from Killers totally unprovoked:

You can't just use your own experiences to say that it doesn't happen at all. A lot of people experience things you didn't but that doesn't mean it dosen't happen.
