So I’ll be honest, I’ve only ever played as Spirit around 5 times as I just wasn’t a fan of her gameplay. It just didn’t feel engaging or fun to me and if I’m not having fun, what’s the point?
I see a lot of people say that she doesn’t take skill and you just need headphones, but when I was playing as her I was using headphones and I really struggled against people using Iron Will. If they just stopped running when I phased and walked, it purely became a guessing game for me as to which direction they went. I know you can sometimes hear grass moving but depending on the map, survivors with Iron Will can be silent during a chase.
Is this why so many Spirit players use Stridor or was I just inexperienced and needed more practise? Like I said, I’ve not played her a lot so maybe I just wasn’t good yet lol. From where I was sat, it didn’t feel that easy to successfully land post-phase hits when the survivors knew to stop running to hide scratch marks.
So is she actually a killer that takes skill to master when you’re NOT using Stridor or do I just need to play her more to get the hang of her? Also to clarify, I didn’t struggle against survivors who weren’t running Iron Will. I found them easy to locate / down whilst phasing.
Interested to see the responses. 😏
Ya I always felt this way too. I actually really like the character but am not very good with her at all. Could also be because I don't use stridor and scratch marks are like 5 meters delayed when I use her. Never noticed it when i was any other killer but her.

Dead by daylight and well, any other asymetrical horror game is/should be balanced around the speed of objectives. Objectives in dead by daylight is healing and generators, healing is an alternative which helps survivors last longer in chases of course. Generators are a main objective for survivor. Since the game is/should be balanced around these speeds, perks that reduce the speed of progress on generators or make it harder for survivors to complete these objectives (PGTW, Ruin, etc.) throw this balancing out of proportion. Perks/items that increase the speed of completing generators do the same.
So in turn the development team of behaviour needs to balance the game so these perks are not too strong when put on a killer/survivor, but also not too weak without these perks.
The problem with the balancing in this game is that it is practically necessary to have these gen protection perks at a higher level of gameplay to not get stomped by even the just decent survivor players. The reason why this is necessary is because the devs balanced the game around these perks, making them way stronger than without them which in turn influences the meta. I believe if these perks were nerfed heavily, or basekit gen kicking regression was buffed quite a bit this game could be balanced in a more fair manner making it easier for the game to be balanced. This includes nerfing gen speed perks for survivor such as prove thyself (if used in a good swf the game is basically impossible to win with a weakish killer, especially with BnPs or toolboxes in general).
What do you all think of this? Do you believe there any flaws in my statement? What do you believe is the best next step to balancing this game out?
So I am currently trying to get the last of my killers to p3. They are all level 42 and I want to p3 them before anniversary cakes come out. The remaining killers trapper, billy, Hag, Ghosty, Oni, Plague, and DS were leveled up using rift and daily rituals as I only use killers who obtain BBQ. Plague and DS got it now. DS and Mike who I finished over the weekend had no regression or slowdown and it was rough. Mike at least has one shot and can snowball DS already has a uphill battle with map mobility so having no perks with regression/slowdown is rough. So first game I ran BBQ, Monitor, Tinkerer (trying to get grabs), and Spies and gens flew off the board but played endgame well killed 2, had elodie on ground, injured nea t-bagging at gate. Gave elodie hatch. 2nd game figured might as well plan for it since everyone at my rank splits to work gens and swapped spies for bloodwarden. Same thing happened played endgame well was trading hooks then left one on ground and they opened gate. I picked up one of the Jane's and one of them bolted out (smart) I hooked and watched as they were running into a invisible wall. The 2nd Jane ran out of the gate area while THE MEG hid in the exit gate area (REALLY) she died first obviously and the Jane didn't go for other exit and was injured so she died too. Bloodwarden is fun but would rather win sooner. My mains for instance I don't really mind it. Pig I only use dying light but she has traps I guess. Fred has pop that's really all he needs. Huntress I only use corrupt everything else is aura based. When I use the lower killer (lower IMO only) I feel the need for slowdown/regression to even play the damn game. To me that says I need to spend more time on those characters not gen speeds are bad.

I personally think it would be cool to have a shorter timer but returns when healed. For instance when hit, activates for 5-10 seconds (plenty of time to break los) and has synergy (Q&Q, deception, Head On, IW, etc) but not quite as long at least. Idk just a thought.
@indieeden7 I customized your idea from yesterday. You like or no?

Sweaty ropes could go because there were too many trash cans who ran them with other slow down perks. I personally ran green rope with yellow rope but then ran Chase perks with Disco or Gear Head. However these new add-ons can go as well like what the f*** is this.

Personally, I play killer a tad bit more than survivor but when I do play survivor it’s solo queue. I always liked object in solo queue because I can see what the killer was doing and if they were chasing on heading my way. In SWF this information was broken, and having constant information on most killers was broken. I played more than enough matches against a coordinated SWF with object to realize just how busted it was.
I played some solo queue matches with new object today and I absolutely LOVED it. The info every once in awhile and when the killer’s aura reading perks are active gives me just enough information without putting a giant target on my back. It doesn’t seem like it would be broken on SWF’s anymore as well but I will let you know if I go against a coordinated SWF with it.
What are your thoughts? Killer mains especially
I had one in my first game yesterday. Didn't really know how it wanted to handle it at first. It was a cocky David King every time it would show the aura's he would t bag. I was using plague who I'm not the best With. Choose to ignore and go after just other 3. He dc'd and i won at 3 gens.
-
Cold win as always Been survivor sided but this is just horrible. The new Harvester is weird best way to describe it. I'll have to watch a video on that seems like it's back to the old way where they can vault back and forth and there's nothing you can do. Hopefully I'm wrong on that ill investigate that one for sure.

I might stand alone on this one, but I don't like new Coldwind at all. I would much rather play Swamp all day long.
It's not just you bud. I finally got the map in my final game tonight I was using plague and had a god-awful Time. I felt that the map was huge and I couldn't see s***. Could not see my barbecue or as at all so that Perk was literally just for the blood points which let's be honest is why I use it anyway but still the point. The corn as tall as s*** so easy to lose survivors through it. Left the game happy I only got at one time tonight. As of right now I would rather play on Haddonfield.

Ikr lol I thought for sure they would tweak them to something a bit more fun. I get he don't need any but just looking for something that for one works and two is interesting. As for LB 90 Secs was def too much but I was hoping they kept the perk alive at least. Exactly what @indieeden7 said would have good or at least different and worth trying. Hell might have ended up being more powerful who know but now what if you lucky and bring best medkit you can get 2-3 uses best case. Assuming you lose the killer instant 3 times.

Also I play on xbox so there's no end-game chat. So there has to be whiny ass xbox players (theres a lot) in the trial. Still numbers are down of late.

I may be wrong, but I don't think tunneling and camping are actually the apex of killer gameplay. At best I see those killers get 2K unless the team is 100% solo-q.
Even the trashest player can still sit there ass on a gen. Remove them, 3 survivors left. Hook one, chase one, one rescue, none on gens.

That's tunneling off the start. Tunneling when the game goes south (targeting weakest link) shifts momentum drastically. It is def a strat.

I'm surprised you don't get messages as much as I do lol. I get a lot of hate in end game chat if I dare do any strategy. So much so yesterday I had a 4 man hide 2 people in pale water after 2 were dead for 30 minutes, because I somehow tunneled and camped even though I 2 hooked everyone before I even killed anybody. Yet these lines where people don't understand is that a lot of survivors still think you are tunneling and camping when you aren't. I get hate for like anything though as far as going as I play Trickster or I was too nice or something weird.
Ya maybe once or twice a week at most which is honestly amazing compared to how it used to be. I remember getting messages for what seemed like just existing back in the day. I am still a BP player so I play for 12 hooks every game and let the survivors decide how I will play. I know that might sound a bit insane but let me explain first lol. So I'll start by going for 12 hooks and will even be more than happing to rotate each survivor but off course that depends on the gens. If I do a gen rotation and decide to do a quick chase and 3 gens pop my hand is forced. That is what I mean by they decide how I play. Once the gens hit 2 I throw the 12 hook game out and it's time to kill someone. The problem is survivors don't know I play this way. They deal with hook phasing spirits, slugging nurses, camping bubbas, so how they know they finally got a killer that plays normal?
-
Twins for sure. Charlotte hard to look at on screen not to could not imagine the sight (and smell) irl oh and her fuking Gremlin as brother ######### no thx.

@GodLikeTerror said:
I seriously don't understand this. If you are going to sit there and split up on 3 different gens at the start of the round, and rush gens to try and get out 5 minutes later. Why do survivors complain if the killer decides to tunnel and camp then? Tunneling allows more pressure to get someone out of the game, and camping typically gets people off generators a lot of the times at least 2 of the 3 people trying to sit on gens if not all. I don't understand the mentality behind getting mad at the killer for it when you are the one trying to rush the round. That's why I don't get upset when I play survivor and the killer tunnels and camps, but then again most survivors only play one side, and that's the easiest side where you can mess up nonstop and get away with it, because the game allows you to. Sorry if that was a bit of rant, but like a lot of survivor players literally do not understand this fundamental fact.
2 Gens left - 1 survivor gets removed (tunneled)
1 gen - 1 survivor gets removed (tunneled)
Last 2 need to get that last gen done. If I could not remove in both those scenarios I will camp and try to pull a miracle. Everything is subject to change as opportunitys arise throughout the match like slugs, two hooks near each other will prolly proxy that. For the most part survivors understand these strats and I don't get messages. Camping, tunneling, slugging right off the start of the match is what the problem is and deserves hate but used as a defense mechanism survivors (most understand) in my experience. I have had a few odd bulbs send hate for camping during EGC but as we all know they are just fruit loops and who cares.

So... here's the thing.
Is Lucky Break + Iron Will going to be strong? Yes. Yes it is. Especially with the current Killer Meta of getting downs or hooks ASAP and snowballing off of that and perks like Thrilling, BBQ, Infectious, and Pop.
Here's the thing though... Killers have the tools to support other play styles. I know because I'm already doing that. You want to know how much I'll care if I lose you after shooting you as Deathslinger when I've got M&A, Surveillance, Nurse's, and Oppression with the Mangled and longer Mend Time Add On? I won't care at all... and you'll be trying to fix yourself to stop Lucky Break's timer for a very long time.
So... I am fairly certain that Lucky Break is powerful enough to be meta, and powerful enough to force Killers to change their builds to deal with it... but they absolutely have the tools to be able to switch up their builds to deal with it.
Yes great game plan bud and good point. I will point out tho that not every killer in there arsenal has these types of add-ons tho. See the current meta at least at least at top rank is too split and do gens then maybe later you might see 2 on one gen. So at beginning there is a very small window to get that first down already. Nonetheless I still don't mind using every killer on the roster at my rank now I feel if/when new LB comes out, along with forever safe unhooks (New BT), and new object (have not seen yet so unclear) that I might/probably will have to unleash my top 3 all the time and that just idk don't sound fun.

Freddy is fun and people that complain about him are just mad.
I main Freddy because I adore the character and have been a fan since I was a child and I love getting into character and having fun playing as Freddy.
also his snares aren’t that good. Pallets are better I find and slow downs do nothing if you’re against red rank survivors.
I agree well for most part. Your not using your snares right bud if you think pallets are better. You can shut down any loop and get a hit/make them leave resulting in a hit. Twins are very fun for the people put don't just proxy camp with them @Babawizwiz I played one game with them last night for a daily ritual I had like (felt like) 72 hits/downs an felt like the game was over. Come to find out I had three hooks unfortunately slugging/camping is the only optimal way to win a game with them against viable survivors. My game resulted in a 4 man Escape even with that many hits and downs due to the fact I did not leave them on the ground or Camp which I had the opportunity to do.
-
I'm going to try to ruin this game on him. I figure out what I'm doing wrong at some point in time just feels like survivors are spawning in on four separate gens. I know they're not it's feels that way. Which means I suck ass right now I miss my pig.

I really think that hook grabs are more unfun and face camper promoting than they’re worth.
If a Survivor is being camped, there should always at least be the option to hook trade. You could still hit someone while unhooking or cancel an unhook if you’re quick and they’re injured.
It wouldn’t be a game breaking change against good Killer players and it would help a lot to make the most unfun Killer “playstyles” more bearable.
So you're going to have the new borrowed time which activates no matter what, now you want to never be grabbed which barely works anyhow? I swear if I could just have a quick-hit of whatever most of y'all be smoking on on these forums my life would be so much better and comfortable.
-
I'm just not sure if I'm tinkering with portals a little too long at the beginning or what. I'll have nights where I feel like I've finally hit that Mark and then I'll have another night where I feel like I'm back at beginner level. But I try to only place a portal near a gen that I'm passing along as I'm traveling through the map I don't go out of my way.

Ya and sometimes I will kill to and let 2 reset so I can have opportunity for more BP but for whatever reason I choose to end that game maybe a baby was crying or dinner was done can't remember but either way when I'm using Mike or Plague it aint for BP.

After downing a survivor with Tier 3 Myers and putting him in the basement, I had two other survivors rush the basement before I even left the area. Seeing as I was still in Tier 3, it didn't end well. As I left the basement and was walking away I overheard the last survivor loudly drop down into the basement at which time I, still being in Tier 3, downed and hooked the last one. In end game chat, I was referred to as a "speed run dbag". When I pointed out that altruism is a killer, the salt really flowed.
Apparently, from now on, any killer who plays efficiently and capitalizes on poor survivor decisions is making a speed run.
I had one of these with Mike like 2 month ago on backwater and got non stop messages from a D.king and his wife because the team died in 3 minutes. I hooked the wife in tier 2 with stalk just about maxed and a Laurie was following whole time trying to flashlight. Soon as I hooked I turned around and popped tier 3 and downed Laurie, seen scratch marks of a blendette heading to unhook the wife and she didn't make it, I hooked the claud and seen the Husband (d.King) hiding behind a tree with BBQ so I went over and downed him just in time. He was still crouched behind the same tree when I got there. game over. The harassment was insane could not understand any of their own mistakes whatsoever.

That's strange, i never get survivor challenges -.- it's like the game knows and trys to force you to play the other role lol but yeah every Blight has the exact same playstyle Tinkerer, Ruin and then Snowballing hooks...with that weird J flick exploit they've been doing.
Ya I can't remember the last time I got survivor challenges not to mention 2 of them. Picked a weird time to give them now imo. Had to wait what felt like 20 minutes for a game and I was playing solo. It was one of those games you just knew was a disaster from the start team was going down every second and my 2 yellow perk Felix running around doing damage control healing/unhooking knowing it's over.

All i seem to get in my games are Blights & Huntress. Yesterday I had 8 Blights...That's really abnormal don't think i've played the same killer that much before. So last night my ritual was be chased for 2 minutes as Felix my Felix is level 5 but I accepted the challenge. I replaced one of my killer challenges hoping to get a different killer one and got heal 3 survivors which seemed odd to me as you would think they would want me to stay playing killer right now but whatever I switched over. Blight was first game and really sweaty one too slugging at 4 gens and rushing to hook like a spirit with her phase. Speaking of 2nd game was a spirit we all escaped so she did not know what she doing. First spirit I have seen that didn't phase to hook though.

Blame the devs for [BAD WORD] console optimization not players using a perk. You're right about that.
As a console player, I know the frame rate drops are just part of the game, so I do play to them, and still maintain red ranks. Its just annoying that theres this obvious and consistent problem that I know will not get fixed, and I have chase after chase get ruined by it. Obviously people can use any perk that they want, but if there was a problem with Head On, for example, that allowed a survivor to stun a killer 3X the distance away, the devs would fix it. Or any other example where a perk was doing things outside their intended usage, it would probably get fixed. I guess optimizing console would be the way to fix it, and that's prob not an easy task for devs, so Dead Hard/frame rate dropping on console is just a baked in nuisance that you have to play with and plan for.
Yes to all your points. Don't get me wrong it sucks that we have to adapt to that kind of playstyle while others don't but it can be done. If you love the game you can adjust to anything and hell maybe one day they will fix it.🙄
-
@umad said:
As a killer this perk causes my game to freeze every single time its used. It's the most frustrating perk to go against in the game, because even if you plan for it, your game freezes and the survivor is completely gone. Does anyone else have this problem?
Sorry bud just got to get used to it. Yes this happens to me as well every single time someone dead hards I actually just swing now so I don't get spun by it anymore (seems to help) which means I can't just bait dead hards. However that being said I still win and maintain rank 1 so theres that. Also sloppy butcher on survivor side does this, and other status effects so it's not just you as killer getting effected so "hacking" bad word for it "Exploit" not any better. People playing this game can use anything they want and people need to suck that fact up like for real. Blame the devs for ######### console optimization not players using a perk.

Perks that arent really meta that you like.
My personal 4 are
Iron Maiden - Been playing a lot of trickster lately and I honestly cant stand watching reloads at normal speed it feels like watching them in slow motion
Surveilance- I know its kinda meta with ruin but honestly its louder gen noise is extremely underated and saves me a lot of time since I can hear if a gen is being worked on from muuuuch further. Only bad thing is when 2 like 70% gens are close it is way too loud to hear anything.
Bloodhound- Just because of maps like midwich, hawkins and swamp. Their is either so much blood that is just part of the map or the color is so simalar I have a hard time spotting it.
Agitation- Again it saves a surprising amount of time and honestly is the best counter in the game to flashlights since they just feed soooo many free hits.
These two I like but I haven't ran in a long time just cause I am hooked on trickster:
MYC- only on high mobility killers/hag
Starstruck- Its meta on like nurse but even on like doc its pretty fun
Mine our Lullaby, agitation, Brutal, PWYF. Sloppy and Infectious are perks I really love but I consider them meta. Also if I could choose a fifth would be fire up. Reason it was not in top 4 was because it's suited for certain killers IMO. I really love this perk on Mike as I tend to lose some gens stalking and his vault in tier 3 with fire up is OMG.
Survivor - For the people, Fixated, Botany, and Lightweight which i find to be so underrated.

Well points earned by that character are spent on that character. I'm just funny like that so usually spend right away. However when a new killer is coming I will use my P3 maxed characters to build up some bp and spend some on that killer to get them to 15 (4 perks) than play them to 40.

If you are incapacitated and it’s the endgame collapse the pig can just keep chasing you no? You literally can’t escape at that point
True. However like I said it would be a red add-on, you would have to be caught, trapped, and chased again so theres chances to either not get caught in the first place or lose her during endgame. Timer does not run down when searching or being chased. Also the pig would have to gamble and hold on to a trap or two for late in game for this to even matter.
-
@Phasmamain said:
Amanda’s secret could lead to some unfun endgame scenarios
Id also change tampered timer and crate of gears since they can lead to death since you can’t search all the boxes in time
I agree about tampered timer that will have to be changed to something different. As for Amanda's secret it would be a red add-on and they can still get trap off just eliminates hatch really won't be every game.
@Hoodied said:
As we know The Pig, or how I will be referring her to as being Amanda Young, has the worst stealth in the game along side her existence being knowable every round before even seeing her
Now I thought of a few ways to improve her traps, while making her a high threat in both stealth and making her traps stall the game for much longer
Change: Jigsaw boxes
Something that has upset me ever since she released was that her boxes let everyone know "Hey, its Amanda" and I hate that, so I thought of this
Her boxes are invisible until the first trap is put onto a survivor, in which all boxes will appear for everyone. Another change I wanted to do to improve her jigsaw boxes is when taking off a trap, I remembered how Pyramid Head's cages don't spawn in the same spots, but change when caging a survivor, I thought about making the Boxes do something similar to this to make the searches take longer. I want to make Amanda's boxes change locations after its usage resulting in the survivor removing their trap to a random location. Her add-ons affecting boxes will change (Her URs will be mentioned as I gave them a lovely touch that ya'll will enjoy)
(This I want people to look a the most as it could cause the most issues)
Change: Rule set no.2 and amanda's letter
I cannot stress this enough, both of her UR add-ons are terrible and people praise RSN2 for some reason, which is why I didn't make it basekit as that would just nerf amanda
(HEADS UP: These changes correspond with my changes to her boxes, meaning these won't work without those)
Rule Set No.2: Boxes will move after every search, instead of just after a successful trap removal
Amanda's letter: successful dash attacks will make you undetectable for 20 seconds, when crouched The Pig can see survivor auras from up to 18 meters. (Removed the reduction of Boxes and Removed the reduction of traps)
Change: amanda's secret and slow release toxin
Amanda's secret is a weird add-on (I have no idea if its good or not I never used it, found bag and crate more useful anyways) and her most well known add-on, Neurotox- I mean Slow release toxin
Amanda's secret: When a survivor has a trap on their head, they are affected by the incapacitated effect. Survivors cannot escape through Hatch while this is on their head. (JIGSAW BOX SEARCHES ARE STILL USABLE)
Slow Release toxin: Survivors will be exhausted if they have a trap on their head for 5 seconds, every 10 seconds the exhaustion effect will be reapplied but it will be longer (initial trap is 5 seconds, 10 seconds 10, 20 seconds 15, etc) OR it will remain unchanged. (Once the trap is removed the survivor will no longer be exhausted)
Change: crouch and dash
Her crouch's issue is mainly the speed she moves and how loud she stands up, I wanna change these
Crouch speed is now 100%, up from 90% (She now moves at the same speed as survivors, allowing her to be able to catch up to sprinting survivors without losing distance)
Standing up will still produce a sound, but its only within 2 meters of the uncrouch, 2-4 meters its quieter, 4+ it is unhearable completely
Her dash attack is now 1 second longer, it is still considered a special attack
I would love some critic on the changes I want her to have and if any I provided need to be changed up, tinkered, or revamped
EDIT: Fixed the title as I noticed I had it as the old title, and not my full changes
Yes I dislike them seeing the boxes right of the start as well. Might as well just tell them while loading in like for rank 20's. I like it but there something in my gut that I can't quite figure out that telling me to say this would be OP. That being said though I don't find her weak so maybe that's why. Would like the boxes to be hidden and crouch quicker though.

Yet killers hate gen-rushing, but practically get NOED for free because survivors can't differentiate between a killer who does or doesn't have it. However, killers can differentiate when DS is being used due to the obsession mechanic giving it away.
Why allow tunneling, but don't allow gen rushing without taking a risk. It wouldn't be the end of the world with the balanced DS. Maybe if we added this, tunneling would go down.
Yes, I know, it's a strategy, but it shouldn't be actively encouraged, nor should gen rushing be too.
this is a good point. I never want to tunnel or go into a match to tunnel and I for the most part usually have a obsession perk so the obsession ain't a clear giveaway to me as I love STBL, and PWYF. Now I like tinkerer because of the effect it has in chase if I'm not in chase I will use it to pressure a gen but most of time it's a far gen so I use it to get a down faster but this perk tells me if the team has intentions of ending the game in 3 minutes. If I go do my rotation, find 1 survivor on a gen I will chase for short time to see if quick down can happen (20 seconds) best case down, worst case clear a pallet or 2. Now in that time frame tinkerer procs at 3 other locations thats when my whole game switches and tunneling and slugging instantly become part of my strategy. Weakest survivor gone quick to make up time, slug when I can if I see a second survivor. It's not meant to be part of my game but I also want points myself.

Yeah, I'm actually pretty shocked I've yet to run into a group abusing it.
Maybe it's because it takes an actual coordinated group for the bug to REALLY be effective (where other glitches I saw people taking advantage of like hiding in the bus when the killer couldn't enter it was seen all the time because any one individual survivor could easily abuse it) but as of yet at least, no group has done four Breakdowns against me.
I don't know man I feel like if I run into one Survivor with it on Haddonfield I would be screwed. I always seem to have struggles with that map and hook spawns. Always seem to have to travel pretty far to a hook only one maybe two on the street have to travel behind a house to a hook etc. That is just one god-awful map for a lot of reasons.

As a survivor main it terrible to abuse bugs and exploits to make the game unfun for others.
I want the game enjoyable for both sides.
I agree. Like with the pallet Stun glitch which for some reason is still in the game happens and I feel I should have been stunned I will just kick the pallet even if normally I would have looped around/mindgamed for the hit. I won't go as far as to not use specific perks like ruin undying for instance I didn't use it because it was oppressive I didn't use it just because I didn't like it mine always got cleansed instantly. Papa has always been my favorite regression Perk I control pop not the survivors.

My reward for this good gesture.

First game of the day I go against a pretty solid team using plague. I killed a second Survivor pick up the other two on BBQ jumping into the hatch no key was brought into the trial. Poor plague

When I first ever started playing it was wraith that was before really any knowledge of game and only for short time. Took a long break and came back and Freddy fukin Krueger is in this Biotch. Get the fuk out. After a while of steam rolling my way up the ranks I learned from a friend about BBQ and how it gives bonus BP. So i did a quick 40 levels on Bubba to unlock all his perks. Well eventually I found my way to the forums and this was a while ago now and no I don't remember the exact person who said this but here is the exact quote "I guarantee there are people who think they can win a ea tourney with their fred" at that time I had like 5 posts so I ain't say nothing but I was that guy. Well come to find out Fred is well you know already. So I'm like ok lets see who's going to get BBQ and I'll try some new killers. PIGGY PIGGY PIGGY got my ass kicked boyyyyy for a little bit but I shouldn't have been where I was fred had carried me at that point. So after unlocking more perks and some fine tuning I made it to rank 1 with her and love everything about her. Even had a ######### moment when a active trap survivor jumped in hatch (not stated in bio). I like to play other killers here and there for a game or two but #1 Pig, #2 fred #3 Huntress all I really need.

Locating by sound is just as, if not more important than being able to locate by sight in this game.
Just watch Otz and his psycho bloodhound hearing, dude hears a hiding Cheryl breathing 20 meters away and knows exactly where she is.
Well lets net forget he is a Russian robot.......

The maps have some weird sounds too sometimes that can throw you off for the first time just like weird moans and crackling idk hard to describe unless my headset is haunted. I also have followed the maps blood on midwich thinking it was survivors more than once uhhh why would that even be a thing.

Headsets vary obviously but as killer it's nice and I mean niiicce. I be in a chase with steve (example) hit him at pallet while cleaning my blade I hear Feng annoying rat voice behind a wall quickly spin and smack and continue chasing steve for extra pressure. Footsteps, breathing, generators, helps for survivor too I hear the faint heartbeat sooner, mike, ghosty's whips faster, demo's portals and can track them easier, hatch location quicker, etc.

I just earned my first Merciless Killer with Pig, and it was against pretty decent Survivors too. That match was both fun and challenging. I think I might continue to play Pig as one of my regular Killers. 🐷🐷🐷
