How is that rage bait? If you're getting pallets slammed in your face often thats a skill issue sorry to say. Just keep practicing and get better at chase. Don't get mad at the one telling the truth.
Rage bait or survivor only player? Call it

@Alicia_Tried6041 said:
The games always had a lot of pallets. A few more don't hurt. Just do better at mind gaming and winning chases.
Rage bait used to be good

@Matukas said:
I tried to throw a pallet earlier on mage hand and couldn't. You should probably just post your video recording of this happening so they can work with similar conditions to recreate it
Its a bug thats been in the game since his release and they said he was fixed however he wasn't, the bug is inconsistent though it feels almost 50/50

so you agree with tunneling 1 person 3 times sounds like you are part of the problem you guys have plenty of perks to stop gens popping super fast we can only do so much when a killer refuses to chase anyone but 1 person ye we can take hits but they stipp go for 1 person
And survivors have plenty of perks to stop tunneling from occuring

If it's not too strong, then what's the deal? How is it boring? You see something so often, I guess you'd better start learning to counter it, don't you think? And everything Legion can do, you can counter it. Killers see DS all the time, play around it, and waste their own momentum for free because of that random match where there wasn't any DS to begin witu. You've got info on all the killer's abilities and his counter for free. If y'all claim to care for fun only, why even care about winning? Why disapprove of the other side's means of having fun?
Dude I don't think there is any point in arguing, nobody has left a single reply except you about my points on the counterplay to legion. Anyone saying the chase is too short doesn't understand that they need to stun legion out of his power which is easy to do, just mindgame him into lunging to you while on a pallet. The legion cannot have enduring cause no perks.
Its just the usual crap of ignoring everything that the OP has said and saying "Nuh uh"

Aim dressing is the result of how the base game is made. It is not a feature they can just turn on and off. Similar to a lot of dbd, if you learn how it works you will no longer really have this happen any more. Long story short, there are about 2000 things that make more sense to try before adding a menu option to turn off aim dressing. This is problem is also a fraction of how big an issue window vaults are. That issue affects far more games than aim dressing issues…
I understand how it works yet it still happens once in a while, sometime multiple times (even when I am holding M1 it will auto swing my weapon into a tree). Just saying to learn how it works does not change the fact that it is stupid and should be changed or entirely removed, this includes a lot of other bugs too that have been in the game since I have started playing nearly 8 years ago
-
@ReverseVelocity said:
I don't think they can even turn it off unless they entirely rework how lunges detect hits.
Then they should rework how lunges detect hits, it sucks for both sides survivor and killer. They should also adjust survivor hit boxes so it is not "behind" their character model when they are running

Lol… unfortunately not. Thankfully Legion is not strong and after they get cheap free hits they have nothing.
It is just that this is a BIG problem in 2v8, particularly if you play medic (which is my fav role) as it renders your entire build all but useless.
Can you explain why it renders it useless?
-
Mending sucks yeah, just go to a pallet, stun em when they hit you and they don't have power (Or outplay them a different way)! It is actually that simple
-
@MaTtRoSiTy said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3884987#Comment_3884987
If you don't understand that Legion getting free injures and rendering the entire medic role useless in this mode is a problem, there is literally no point attempting to reason logic with you.
Legion alone is annoying (nobody likes mending constantly) but that is all Legion has in regular matches and they are just an M1 killer with no power after the free frenzy hit - a noob stomper basically.
But if you add this to 2v8 where another killer is in play, this become a massive problem. Period.
Don't heal, loop legion cause he is an m1 killer, easy win. Only time you have a threat is when the teammate comes by with actual chase ability.
Also when you get injured and are over a pallet (Which you should be because you SHOULD have pre-ran to one) you drop it to stop them from injuring more for another 20 seconds. A useless killer for 20 seconds. -
@MaTtRoSiTy said:
Well guess at 6k hours and playing since the first Legion was cursing the queues abusing moonwalking, I am just bad then but I will say I like to play the medic role in this mode and that role is completely countered by Legion who gets free injures back to back.
It is the same as when you bring in a medkit and discover the killer is Legion or Plague, except this is my entire build countered and rendered useless.
Legion by themselves isn't an OP killer, sure they get cheap free hits but after that they are just an M1 killer with nothing else going on. But they completely break this mode as injures are far more consequential in this mode and when Legion gets essentially free cheap hits with a second killer in play, it is just plain unfair and breaks this mode completely.
PLEASE REMOVE LEGION FROM THIS MODE BHVR!
I am not playing for this reason, it is ruining the fun
Huh thats crazy cause I have 10k 8 years on this game, it seems that your hours don't matter at all about your opinion including my own. As I said in my post it seems like you have a problem with legion not legion being in 2v8. I was there when legion sucked and he still kinda sucks but not as bad of course cause YOU CAN DO STUFF TO COUNTER HIS POWER! The reason why his power is coming into play so much is because survivors suck usually, nothing wrong with sucking something wrong with complaining when you suck
Edit: Also moonwalking wasn't even the start of why old legion was bad, there were other problems

Well done to the moderator of this forum to let this genius tell people they are bad for saying legion makes 2v8 rubbish and boring. Or is it 2v6, now 2v7 with rubbish BOTs who do nothing. Feels like BHVR are replicating the 3rd season of Mythic Quest - barely holding on with a limited creative department and just dumb ideas!
It seems to me by what you typed out that your problem with the gamemode is bots not legion lmao
Also you can't blame the moderator, they are doing great. They get enough grief from people like us bickering and whining in this stupid forum where people just say stupid crap. -

The main reason it was so fun in the past was that it felt like you had a fair chance of escaping with the 45% escape rate. Wouldn't surprise me if the escape rate this iteration is 30%.

@Rokku_Rorru said:
I'm finding them very oppressive, there isn't much you can do while they keep frenzying, gens can't get done, the match gets prolonged, especially as they get faster towards the 8th hit, they are making me really dislike playing 2v8 currently ESPECIALLY with how trash the servers hit validation/desync is.
I've played as them a few times also and I just think the information and pressure they bring is just too much for this mode in the sense of a support esque killer class and needs toned down.Legion can be countered by stunning him (You bait the pallet over and over again), if you do get hit and you dont stun him chase him down and try to body block for your teammates that are healthy :)
Legion is a baby that can be bullied, the only time things should go wrong is when his teammate swoops in and thats when you comp corner to waste both their time :) -

I see where you're coming from. If you're right that the pickup-pallet timing minigame deserves a permanent place in DBD, then it deserves to be made part of the tutorial, or have some other indication that it exists. (As it exists it feels like a bug to those unaware)
One way to do this would be a survivor perk that makes it interruptible so survivors would have to commit a perk slot to remove the minigame— just as killers can use lightborn to remove the flashlight minigame
Survive with friends and protect the president builds would abuse that so hard, only way it could work is with a token system that gives you a token when others are hooked and with this token you can spend one to do what you say. You lose all tokens when losing a health state.
Even with those conditions its still too busted, if they want to make it seem like not a bug (because it isn't) they could have an animation play over the killer that looks like the entity protecting them from a stun if the survivor messed up the timing -
No learn the timing, I am tired of skillful things being taken out of the game

I really don't mind BNPs that much, even as a M1 Killer.
That being said, you aren't really running gen regression, so I can see how it'd be an issue for you.
Let's say I ran a gen regression perk other than Dead Lock those 3 gens still would have popped in under 4 minutes, perhaps if I were running a killer like Blight or Nurse I could get downs quickly enough to apply pressure to each survivor allowing another form of "Generator Regression" however I am playing a killer that is not S tier.
Yes I know it is trapper and he is possibly one of the weakest killers in the game however I believe that it would not have mattered what killer I was playing below the A and S tier ones which the game should not be balanced around in my opinion.
-
@CorvusCorax86 said:
I would like to hear more: What is your general opinion on Trapper? I rarely see this Killer. How do you find most matches (those without BNPs)?
I love him, I play a mix of survivor and killer and I also watch a lot of DBD Youtube content so I have a pretty good understanding of survivor pathing which allows me to place what most survivors think are "Randomly placed traps" but they are strategically placed where survivors tend to run to connect loops in chase.
Survivors tend to expect placing traps in the grass at loops but never while holding W to another loop, I can record a video and post that something I get many amazing games with him. He's probably my best killer aside from Blight.
Now here are the cons
- Traps spread
- ...
Yeah honestly I know he is weak as f**k but I don't really care about that too much, the only thing I really despise is needing to travel across the map over and over again to pick up a disarmed trap. My solution would be to have it so he starts with all of his traps or he can pick up more at lockers at the same speed as the normal pick up trap speed, other than this I love everything else about him.
If they wanted to rework him in some way I think it would be cool if he could trap Generators with bombs, it would fit into his lore quite well, these trapped gens explode upon being touched and can be disarmed by a survivor by clicking the "Disarm" button.
While not very powerful as survivors can just check gens before touching them, it can slow the game down just a little bit. (Definitely not a Monto reference)

I was playing lerys when suddenly I hit a survivor near the center gen on the stairs and was flung outside of the map, when I blinked to get out of it, it slowed me down and suddenly after a few minutes I was unable to move, then seemingly got speed hacks. Not sure what from.
Nice to see devs are nerfing the nurses early game and buffing the late game!!!
Making this incase I get reported lol. Never seen this before
Ah yes, the classic camp and tunnel at 4 gens strat as nurse with blink and recharge add-ons. Also neat

No offense but if you are struggling with overcharge it's 99% a "get better" issue, lol

Have you considered going to a different gen? 🤨 COB + OC only works if you let it. Killer can't be at all gens at once. Your team could pressure multiple gens and there's really nothing stopping that except not doing gens.
3 of us were on 3 separate gens
-
@Marik1987 said:
If u go into a 3-Gen-Situation, maybe you deserve the loss?
It was not even a 3 gen, two of the gens were opposite of the map of each other. One being in the middle
-
@Deathstroke said:
It's too powerful in 3 gen situations so to solve this I think last gen needs to be back 80s and I would be fine overcharge getting nerf. I don't think anyone wants to play games which last almost an hour.
I personally think overcharge and call of brine should not stack, they are fine on their own. Just put "Does not stack with other perks and add ons"

How? Were they good or bad?
I saw a couple of Nurses, total. One beginner and one a bit more decent.
I wish the speed boost feature of the range addons was removed.
Majority were moderately skilled, 1 or 2 absolute noobs. And a few were cracked
-
Damn, I never went against that before and never play Pinhead. Thats kinda busted

@YOURFRIEND said:
Yes. Why is this? 80% is an obvious exaggeration and only detracts from the observation, but there are so many more nurses than previously. The only killer I disconnect against. It's just pointless to keep playing after you hear that screech.
80% was not an exaggeration. After getting a but load of nurses yesterday I decided to see how many out of around 20 games I would get. 18 out of 23 were nurses, which is 78. 26%. I rounded it up to 80

If you think these "tips" you're giving out are gonna be received and used by survivors, you're wrong. I'm already getting a lot of survivors just giving up and killing themselves on hook even though i'm playing M1 killers and not camping one bit. Hence my comment.
I am putting them out there for the survivors that wanna listen! :) If they wanna keep bashing their skull against a wall then that is there own problem
-
@Dead_Harder said:
Is it good against Trickster? Isnt he just gonna spam you down?
With the bar that fills up (Laceration Meter) if you use it at the last knife you will take an endurance hit and deplete the bar fully. A lot of times the trickster put down their knives thinking I would be downed or I make it around a corner lasting at least a bit longer in chase
-
@Devilishly_Rowdy said:
Survivors wanna be "cocky" and dominate the killer in dbd, that's why we're seeing so many survivors crying over the update. They wanna keep being the power role so bad.
So what is the point to your comment? It adds nothing to what I said other than more toxicity into the community which is totally unnessicary

If nothing else, Blight's power can be used as a mobility tool, and Blights has a default movement speed of 115% so he can played very easily if someone wants too.
Try that with Nurse lol, 1000+ hour to reach what takes for Blight 100 hours at most.
Simple answer is map/tile knowledge, plus the techs you can pull off such as the "hug tech" where you hug up to a wall after a bounce and can slide off of it

How about... no. You should of played this game in 2017. Every match was a billy over and over and over. He used to have op turning addons and I would rather not have that happen again. Billy is fine where he is. I do not believe tho he needed a heating mechanic
I disagree, turning add ons were not the problem. It was his reduce charge time add ons that were insane
