Just Sadako main things.
😅 Honestly didn't occur to me
-
Yeah when this happens it makes me want to put my head through the TV
-
No I've never done this.
As a survivor I once tunneled a Switch killer out of the match, tho
-
No thanks, I'll just take a look in the mirror
-
I'm sorry you have to bear this burden

This is gonna be the main problem VHS faces, matches in that game are too ######### long. Like 45 minutes long. I prefer short matches though not in the sense that all gens get done in 3 minutes.
45 minutes? I think I'll be avoiding that game..
-
Right around 10 minutes is ideal. Probably 8-12 is the best range. Anything shorter than 7 minutes usually means there was a DC or a huge disparity in skill.
Anything longer than 13 minutes usually means a survivor or two spent a long time hiding or the killer refused to leave a 3 gen area (which is a fine strategy, but incredibly boring when both sides are safe and stubborn).
Of course there are exceptions.
-
He got like 2 right lmao (IMO of course)

They're all acceptable. The fact there are some that make want to uninstall doesn't make them unacceptable.
Obviously they are literally acceptable to use lol? I'm asking what ones make you want to uninstall.

Play both and regardless my opinion is the same for both sides.
No map offering should exist. maps can tilt the odds and even more so if played by a player making a build for said map (BL + haddonfield, Boil over + RPD/Ormond, Scratched mirror/All seeing + indoor map).
I would be happy if they completely got rid of map offerings tbh.

I'm 80% sure you are in minority, pal.
Well I'm 85% sure you're wrong. I win! 😎

Any of the reworked maps, which doesn't leave many options left for me to use, now that I think about it.
Excluding them, then DDS. I play both sides, btw.
EDIT: But Swamp or Red Forest... oh they sure bring a smile to my face.
What kind of a sicko like Swamp? Just kidding lol but why do you like them?

@fulltonon said:
Anything, only people who want to abuse that map bring map offering, so no offering is allowed.
I generally only use map offerings when.. I haven't been to it in a while, it's brand new and I want to learn it, I have a challenge (drop from a great height, hide in killers TR) that is more easily completed on certain maps. So not everyone's looking to abuse the game

Honestly, the whole ''solo queue is a nightmare'' is out of proportion. Ever since SBMM, you have decent teammates and with COH/DH and the other second chance perks you have, it's a breeze.
It's very rare that I legitimately find myself struggling in solo queue, and this image of ''poor us solo queue :( '' is nonsense.
Spoken like, and upvoted by, someone who does not play solo queue survivor
-
It's only available to people who bought the whole Nightmare on Elm Street chapter. It was never in the in game store
-
OP: Don't make snap judgments on the killer on day 1
Several people in this thread: Allow me to explain my day 1 snap judgment
-
Not invisible
No lullaby
Doesn't take 7 seconds
No dream world
Don't need to draw individual survivors in
Survivors can't "wake up" to avoid hits
-
They're already whining on Twitter
-
Amateur > professional. At least it's real
-
I mean, just keep playing dude. I'd say 80% of my survivor teammates and 90% of the killers I face do nothing toxic to me. But there are definitely toxic players on both sides.
-
Because they would need to do individual animations for each survivor and each cosmetic.

Where at all did I say exploit?
Putting words in my sentences my guy. Nice try.
I didn't say you did. But someone was talking about stretched res and you bring up people using perks and items as if the two are comparable.

Alot of swfs do. Lol.
They bring in do many handicap perks, and really strong addons and coordination
And then at the end call the killer trash like they were something amazing when in reality all they did was set themselves up for better odds. It isn't that they are better players per se, it's all the added help they use.
I've never understood cocky survivors. Like ever.
Using perks and items =/= using exploits.
-
Not every game needs a competitive scene. But if someone really wanted to they could simply make rules all players must abide by (no moris, items, etc)

hhm how long does it take to find a game as killer?
when i play a killer match is 20 sec and a survivor match is around 1 - 5 minutes (5 minutes is rare but so is 20seconds)
I don't play killer much lately but when I do it's 5 to 30 seconds usually. Unless there's been a new killer released, a killer rework or buff, etc. But I don't even bother trying anymore when that's the case lol
-
I could out drink Clown 🤡
-
Morning and afternoon it takes me 30 seconds to find a survivor match. Evening, maybe 1-2 minutes. Late night? Usually about 5 minutes or more so I only play 1 or 2 matches at that time, if at all
-
It went from ######### tier to OP to mid tier in two updates lol
-
People acting like all we see is Blight and Nurse and yet I am constantly getting Pinheads, Bubbas and Huntresses.
-
A lot of good ideas in there. I dig it

What a terrible challenge.
True lol. Sometimes I don't know what they're thinking when they design these. I understand the need to grind some of them, but so many are not really "challenging" so much as luck based.
And yet again, swf gets advantage over solo queue

Running around and pouncing as Victor is fun! Also ugly? Theyre killers on DBD, this ain’t Coachella. Also they have a few good cosmetics it’s just they don’t have a lot of cosmetics compared to Trapper or Legion
I don't really mean ugly as in unattractive, just that the design is kind of lame IMO. It doesn't appeal to me. Like Blight is ugly but really creepy looking so it works. Twins just look dumb.

Kindred/Empathy is about all you can do. But like you said, challenges like this are typically game throwers (which is why the Rift drives me nuts, anyway...). There's never really a reason to be double healing.
😭 Same
-
Overly altruistic players annoy me. It's frustrating to see a game go from a 1-2k to a 3-4k because everyone else couldn't just leave that one guy to die. Then again there are players who run straight out of the exit gate way earlier than they need to (but maybe they have to be somewhere). So it's a delicate balance.
If I know the killer doesn't have NOED, insane camping ability, or instadowns of any kind, I will stick around and make an effort to save someone who is hooked. At the very least I wait by the exit gate with it at 99% to pop it open and take a hit for an injured survivor. But sometimes it's best to just leave
-
You want to know a secret? If you play with a controller that has enough stick drift it will prevent the traps from spinning your camera 😅
For a long time I thought they had nerfed the Hag's traps and missed it in some patch notes and nobody talked about it because nobody plays Hag. But it turned out I was just using a busted controller

But if they are not bad (like I thought) what's the reason they are so rare?
Because they're not fun to play. They're also really ugly and not in a cool or creepy way, have no good cosmetics, favor slugging and not everyone likes to play like that, etc
-
A few days ago.
-
You become cursed and the longer you go without removing the curse (maybe you have to give it to another survivor) the more debuffs you get. If you wait too long then the killer will be able to instadown you and eventually Mori you.

I really think the BPs we were getting during the Luna even is what should be standard. It wasn’t a crazy amount that you could easily P3 every character but it was enough to help with the grind.
I don't see why they don't do a log in bonus every day. Or a first match bonus for bp (I know you get extra XP)

At least two of my solo queue teammates tend to lose any sort of brain function and decide that their brown toolbox is more important than the box while me and the one sorta competent teammate get stomped into the ground. I don't dc but they tend to hit the disconnect button alot.
There's a challenge to deplete 5 toolboxes so I'm sure that's what they want to do before dropping their toolbox for the box.
-
I completed the blind challenge yesterday so flashlights are definitely working.

She's not blocked due to an exploit. She's block because of a bug that affects only her.
Oh I misunderstood. I thought the survivor was stuck too. Then instead of blocking her, why don't they just give players a warning if they queue up with her? Surely people can just avoid grabbing survivors. Worst case scenario they accidentally grab, get stuck and then survivors escape. Or if the survivors troll, the killer can DC and take a 5 minute penalty.
-
People who circumvent a block should be banned.
-
You could also, like, see the skin before you bought it lmao
-
The devs can make whatever they want any kind of rarity they want. If you don't like it don't buy it but you're not going to change their minds
-
Yeah I don't really notice a difference. They could have made zero changes and lied and people would still create their own narrative out of nothing.

Pinhead for sure. When trying to solve the box, chains will rapidly attach to you, stopping you from solving it. It feels like this is completely RNG related, sometimes the chains take a while to target you, other times it's constant, and when time is tight, it's annoying for the chains to steal that precious few seconds you need to avoid your teammate from getting downed.
I have read that if you are able to dodge the cluster of 3 chains there is a couple seconds before the next cluster starts and that's when you're supposed to start solving the box. Idk if it's true but it's worked for me so far.
-
Best map they've released in a long time imo. Could use some changes but overall I love it
