You clearly got off an unhook, so what are you trying to show with this video?

In a situation where I didn't have my Flashlight with me.....what do you think would have happened?
She would have been Face Camped to death.

Face camp means that the killer bodyblocks you away from the unhook prompt.
If billy facecamped, I ask you how you managed to get an unhook without the unhook prompt?

When a killer gets a hit you can go through him.
He got a hit on the hooked Nea and I managed to get the unhook.
    There.

Face Camping in todays world is exactly what this video proves it to be. NO ONE who is playing now knew ######### Face Camping was back then, so no one cares.

THIS is 2019's version of Face Camping.

@ReneAensland put it perfectly. Sure, just because face camping used to mean that, doesn't mean it can't be given a new meaning. Like seriously, people like @Master and @Tsulan , you're using that as your argument, when you know exactly what i mean, and are failing to give any argument against what i'm saying other than i used the wrong terminology.

Sure, I can give tunneling a new meaning too. Tunneling is now defined as a killer walking through a tunnel.

    Voila

We already have terminology, its called hard-camping.

Who ######### cares? It's obvious what OP meant with face camping

Want a dev stream where the devs explain what face camping was and how they removed it?

    This defines people like yourself.

You forgot the people that agreed with me.

You can call a dog a "cat" as often as you want. But it will still be a dog.

Why on gods earth are you two even discussing the definition of a word? Like what kind of time waste is that? Who cares what exactly facecamping has meant back then, and what OP means with facecamping and if he is using the wrong term. I think it's pretty obvious that with facecamping OP means a killer that is camping a hooked survivor, standing right by him and not leaving the hook. Who cares if this isn't actually facecamping? Especially since the removal of facecamping didn't change a lot anyways. Doesn't really have anything to do what the OP was getting at.

    Are you joking?
Back in the days you were actually able to secure a kill via camping. Nowadays you cant bodyblock away from the hook while survivors can bodyblock you from the hooking prompt. ALSO, nowdays they got BT, unhook invulnerability, swivel hooks AND the faster unhook animation

You can still just grab the survivor when he tries to unhook right in front of you

  • Honestly, people always say that killers should just get more incentive to not camp instead of being punished for camping. But I feel like we need both. Create some way that killers who don't camp at all have a slightly easier time dealing with gen rush right now, while at the same time, punish killers that camp and tunnel a bit more, since right now camping can still reward you too much without having a lot of skill. Especially if you camp and then also have NOED.

I have never ever seen that in my life before. Obviously survivors shouldn't be pulled back if they are already on the other side of the vault still in the animation. But as long as they haven't crossed the window yet, if they get stunned, they sshould not be vaulting the window. What's much worse is when survivors haven't even started vaulting yet when I stun them, and they are still able to vault nevertheless. Also making his shock force survivors to slow vault would just ruin doc.

If shocks forced a slow vault he would be just the same as he is now. Clown forces a slow vault and by doing so he can break loops/gain distance. The devs have said they don't like mechanics that take away control from the player and stopped a vault is that. And to be clear, I'm fine with shocks stopping pallet drops, but vaults are way too buggy.

If you get shocked by docs shock therapy you either have to toally avoid vaults or you get stuck for like 2 seconds and then medium vault. How is that the same? Just having survivors slow vault would ruin him. If he wouldn't slow down while charging his shock therapy and the slow vault his shock causes would actually be a slow vault and not a medium vault, just with a sound notification, then maybe he'd still be good. Otherwise no.

I don't really see what's the problem when certain actions are taken away from survivors for 2.5 seconds. So you have to play against doc a bit different than against other killers. It's not like you have no control more over your survivor when being shocked, you just can't vault or throw down pallets anymore. You just have to avoid the vault if the doc shocks you in time.

Also, his shock therapy is pretty much useless against most pallet loops, especially when the pallets aren't dropped yet.

  • Increasing the blood point gain is not the solution, otherwise you'll just see people constantly just running around with very rare and ultra rare items and addons. The rate at which you get addons and items is totally fine. The problem is the rate at which you get perks. I feel like there needs to be much more perks per Bloodweb and you should have the ability to unlock multiple perks per Bloodweb.

Shocking/screaming shouldn't stop you from vaulting anyway. It's complete BS on the survivor's side to vault the window and teleport back to the other side. Ping has nothing to do with it either, so don't give me that crap. It should force a slow vault if anything.

I know Doc isn't a very strong killer but honestly his power is the LEAST fun thing to play against. Besides the vaulting nonsense, you constantly reveal your position, you are blocked from doing certain actions in madness 3, skill checks are more annoying (ANNOYING not hard, there is a difference, and whoever thought making the least fun part of survivor more annoying deserves a swift kick in the nuts). Nothing about Doc is fun as survivor. He needs a rework to make him both viable and fun to play against. Just like Freddy. Just like Legion.

And don't even get me started on Doc 3 gen lockdown. "Duuuurrrrr just don't leave the last gens close together"... yea Distressing with calm add-ons on the Game would like a word with you. He's the only character that can do this ######### to survivors and it's probably the lamest thing in the game.

Yeah i doubt they'll just make it so you slow vault when being shocked. Doc would be so bad if that was the case. I personally enjoy facing Doc, don't see the problem with him. I'd be extremely disappointed if they would rework him, but I highly doubt that will ever happen. He's just very different. If you get stuck at vaults constantly then just avoid vaults if you hear the doc charging his power. It's really not that bad.
I especially don't understand what's so bad about the skill checks. I mean they just show up at random spots on the screen. What's so annoying about that?

Except that I already made the vault to be teleported back to the other side. If I know I won't make the vault or the pallet I don't try it, but when I can I do then get screwed over by the game (not the lag THE GAME).

It should be a slow vault. Then you as the killer won't get instances where they make the fast vault ever if you shock them and me as survivor won't get instances when I do make the vault but teleport back. He would be more like Clown, and if you can't land a hit or end a chase faster because someone slow vaults when they should fast vault then maybe you're not that good of a killer.

Also I guess you missed the part where I said his rework should make him more viable. I'm okay with giving him buffs in other areas, but some of the things his power does is complete BS. If it's you and one other survivor left, and he slugs them then puts you in madness 3 you are basically screwed because you can't heal that person up off the ground. He gets a free infinite slug and never needs to worry about you saving them as long as he never loses you long enough to lose madness, which with the constant screaming and all his ways to find you is basically impossible. No other killer gets this sort of free unhealable slug. It's dumb.

Skill checks by themselves are annoying and unfun. When they shake or move to the very corners of the screen it makes it even less fun. Plus when you Snap Out you get constant skill checks which make you scream if you fail them. Nothing about this is fun, how you think it is tells me that you don't actually play survivor against good Docs.

I just don't think he'll be reworked seeing as Freddy is still waiting for his rework and Legion needs a rework much more, since he has no counterplay. I wouldn't say no to a rework for Doc if he still would be as unique as he is now and the madness mechanic would stay, but I doubt it will happen. And I love playing as him and also playing against him. He's just different, his strengths lie in finding you which I don't have a problem with. All killers have certain advantages or disadvantages. I don't think doctor's advantages are any more frustrating personally. So I would love him to just stay the way he is.
The slugging part I agree with. I wouldn't mind if they nerfed his slugging potential, I never alug with him unless I maybe want to get a 4k, survivors that are in madness tier 3 should still be able to heal survivors that are downed.
Also, I personally do not find skill checks annoying at all. I actually like the fact when they actually get a bit more challenging. That's why I also enjoy going against killers with ruin.

Thats because BHVR has nerfed the shock timing of doc. You need to hit earlier now than you used to. I dont know why they did this, I dont know why they removed nurses from snapping otu either but I guess they just wanna see doc cry in the corner next to freddy....

Yeah but sometimes I'm able to actually interrupt survivors that are vaulting when they are still in the beginning of the vault animation, so it does work sometimes. It's just very inconsistent. So I didn't think it was actually a nerf but just a bug maybe.
I mean it shouldn't suck you back if you're still in the vaulting animation but already on the other side of the vault of course.

It was an intended nerf. Once you used to be able to interupt during the vault animation, now you have to hit before

Yeah I believe you I just think it's weird that sometimes it still works and I'm able to stun a survivor that has just started vaulting and the vaulting animation gets canceled.

You forgot the super buggy and ######### range on his shock. Sometimes you can see the shock trail go right under and past the survivor but nothing happens and they keep going as usual. Sometimes on the survivor side, the shock doesn't reach you, you don't scream but you can't vault or throw pallets.

If they ever buffed the Doc, I think it should be his shock therapy range. I pretty much never play him without one of the addons that increases his range.

  • Haven't actually noticed this myself. But if this is the case, it should be fixed.
I'd recommend the spirit fury and enduring combo as long as this bug exists though.

  • I really like these ideas. Not too much that people would be upset about a survivor buff, but a nice way to make the survivors feel a little more individual.
Just one question, does feng Min's passive affect the good skill checks size or also the great skill checks size? Cause if it would also increase the great skill check size than people would just run Feng Min to counter Hex: Ruin, which would be too much in my opinion.

  • Let's hope with the next patch we'll finally notice some improvements. Especially the fact that survivors don't spawn on a Hex Totems anymore.

  • This right there. I don't even understand why survivors get notified before the perk shows any effetc.

  • What are the odds that every survivor escapes? If anything, the event needs improvements for survivors, so that killer queue times don't become 30 minutes long again.

  • That wouldn't work probably. But I do hope that next patch they finally improve totem placements. Especially so that survivors don't spawn on them.

  • Oh dear lord. Another game breaking bug, help us almighty.

  • @Vietfox said:

It does seem a little against survivors making points, But, I'll just make them as killer

Yeah that's the problem. Many people will think that, they will just play killer to grind the coins. So there should be more incentive to play survivor as well to earn those coins. Please BHVR.

  • Survivors spawning on Hex: totems is easily the biggest problem. I actually think survivors should always spawn quite close to each other. So if they want to rush gens optimally by all repairing a gen by themselves, they'll at least have to waste a bit of time finding gens.
Of course though they shouldn't spawn somewhere where they can be almost immediately found by the killer. Had that once, quite frustrating.

I stopped reading at "the problem is camping"......

But you feel the urge to post about your ignorance? Camping is currently fine as it can be right now, because survivor can counter it by doing the objective. If you lengthens matches, this strategy gets buffed as well. That's why it's not that easy to lengthen matches.
My suggestion was a nerf to the current pallet/vault situation into a state where survivors have to work for getting more defense. In theory this leads to potentially shorter chases at the beginning of the trial and slower gen progression, because survivors would be forced spending their time to unlock some pallets/vaults, if they don't want to get hooked fast. That would be at least the first thing I would try out. Making survivors work for some of their defenses.

Yes that's something I thought of as well. Could be a nice solution. If survivors want longer chases, they will have to spend time building pallets.

Solo survivor is just fine. We don't need to give them anything. If you have 4 top tier solo survivors it can be way harder than most SWF groups.

What they should do is limit perk usage of SWF groups such that there is only ever 1 instance of a perk allowed. This puts the focus of SWF on team builds, which is what they should be doing anyway. Letting them all run DS/Adren/DH/SC is what makes SWF so overwhelming. It'd break up the meta a bit.

And before someone says something stupid because they don't actually read the post, this only applies to SWF groups. If you come into a game solo, even if the other 3 players are in a group, you have no limits. You can do whatever you want.

I just don't think many people will be happy if they are forced to use less perks because they are playing with friends. Might really hurt the game.

Literally nothing you do will make everyone happy so you just have to pick something and bite the bullet. Your choices are buff solo or nerf SWF. And since solo is in the perfect spot right now, it makes the most sense to nerf SWF.

And if sharing bothers you that much then get in the habit of playing solo more often.

"Play solo more often" Basically youre saying "If you have a problem with it dont play with your friends on a game you enjoy" cause thats gonna help the lifespan of the game.

"Solos in the perfect spot" I dont know what game youve been playing for the past year but all solo is right now is people rushing to unhook people they dont know for a easy pip and easy bloodpoints.

Well it depens on the team. Even solo survivor teams have the potential to be very organized. But kindred as base kit would be a welcome addition to the game.

  • Self care is totally fine. What's overpowered about it? It definitely doesn't need a nerf at all.

  • Hard to believe that bug actually made it into the live version. I mean isn't that what the ptb is for? To see what bugs need to be fixed?

  • I would add a built in self care as well, that maybe allows you to heal yourself at 40% or 45% the normal speed. Since swf have an easier time finding each other to heal.

I assume that after these important survivor buffs, killers get heavily buffed.

Exactly. That would be a must. Either a gen rush nerf, plus some smaller nerfs to Spirit, Hillbilly and Nurse, since they are already really good, or just buffs to all the weaker killers to be more on the same level as Spirit or Hillbilly. Although a gen rush nerf would be nice.

  • @weirdkid5 said:

  • @AlwaysInAGoodShape said:

Unless im to innocent to see the faults of this?

If they had 2 totems then there wouldn't be enough if you ran 3 or more hex perks.

We do know that the Draw-A-Line to check if a hex totem spawns in the FOV doesn't really work as you'll still be able to walk right into in.

Truetalent made a statement about it:

Someone's complaint about token based hex perks softly suggested that a Hex Perk should only become a Hex the moment it has started to take effect.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/283400/p1

What could be a solution for the Hex Perk problem is to make them all work like NOED. They only become a Hex the moment they start taking effect. That's when they'll be bound to a dull totem if there is still one on the map.

-Hex Ruin would only turn on the moment someone gets their first skillcheck.
-Hex Lullaby would only turn on when someone gets a skillcheck after the first hook etc.
-Hex: Devour Hope would only turn on the moment you first get your movement speed bonues (or in lower tiers the moment you first insta-down someone. Tier issue is a separate issue with Hex: DH)

This would mean that every Hex perk would at least be able to minimal value before being destroyed and that at the start or the first few seconds, you'll rarely ever encounter a Hex totem.
Even in the case of Ruin in the worst possible scenario spawning right next to a Gen and getting your skillcheck the first 5 seconds, will you less frequently encounter a Hex totem then with the system the devs are working on.

That's just my 2 cents on the perk issue.

I would like that, then survivors couldn't directly spawn on Hex: Ruin, that would be a good change. the only problem I see is Devour Hope. Only having the chance of cleansing that totem until one more unhook seems a little to much given how insanely powerful that Perk can be. Maybe if they made it so the movement speed buff would already be applied after the perk receives one token.

  • Honestly, I just wish the gen regression speed after kicking a gen would be faster the more gens still need to be repaired. Like for every gen that still needs to be repaired, minus the last one, the gen regression speed is increased by 25%. That would mean if all 5 gens still need to be repaired, gens regress at double the speed. I think right now it's 4 seconds regression for one second progression. So at double the speed, the gen would regress the same amount in 2 seconds as one survivor would progress the gen in one second.

  • @Mochan said:
I generally don't mind making a killer perk baseline but Survivors need to get something out of the deal.

Killers are not "underpowered" and adding this tips the scales a little too much in one direction.

And I certainly don;t' think this will dissuade camping, it may apply to you but I bet most killers don't think like you.

Well most killers can still be gen rushed very easily, against really organized survivors teams there is little they can do, so you could argue that among the very best players, most killers are still a little underpowered, not Nurse, Hillbilly and Spirit though in my opinion.
But I agree that if gen rush was ever nerfed, the game would get a lot of new problems, especially since at lower ranks, survivors aren't nearly as fast with gens as they are at higher ranks. I don't think Pop Goes the Weasel as base kit would change much though so that survivors would need some compensation.

  • @Mochan said:
As a survivor I can definitely confirm, I can hear myself a lot louder. Killer hearing is probably bugged, or you are just not hearing it in the rush.

I mean it was bugged before as far as I know. And they said they would improve the sound for killer. But there's barely any difference. You still can barely hear any footsteps, which is ridiculous considering the fact that scratchmarks are bugged too.
Really don't get how they seem to have increased the volume of the survivors footsteps for survivors a lot and for killers barely. Maybe it's all just a bug, and they'll fix it soon.

  • @Gorgonia said:
As a survivor, footsteps are annoyingly loud, even when crouching. Let alone the grass/vegetation sounds when you step on them. It is loud, very.

Really? Maybe the devs understood as wrong and thought we want louder sound effects for survivors? I don't get it though. They were supposed to improve sound for killer so they can have a better chance at tracking a survivor and instead they increase the sound effect volume especially for survivors? I hope we don't have to wait another 1 and a half months untill they actually improve the sound for killer.

Starting to think that as well. I was defending them with their game on this forum but it's getting harder and harder.

That's weird, I am hearing my footsteps very loud after the patch. Maybe it's only on the killer's side.

As survivor I didn't even pay attention to that. I just know as killer people can stil just run right past me and Idon't hear it. Really frustrating. It's the least they could fix to make killer not as stressful.

  • I find the Doc issue particularly annoying. Have had that multiple times now where I shock the survivor before he vaults and he still is able to vault. Drives me crazy and feels really unfair. Has cost me quite a bit in some matches. It's awful since you never know if it'll work or not.

Lol why wouldn't they put that in the patch notes. To afraid of the reactions? On the other hand that buff is totally fine, barely noticeable.

It makes the First Aid Kit (Yellow) heal up to two times now, so that’s important.

And then it only gets more impactful with the better Med Kits.

Sure but I mean that doesn't seem to big if you consider that you are still able to heal yourself after the healing kit is gone.

  • Lol why wouldn't they put that in the patch notes. To afraid of the reactions? On the other hand that buff is totally fine, barely noticeable.

  • Seriously? I still got to try it out but boy I hope they didn't screw up again. How hard can it be to actually give us proper footstep sounds again so killers don't have to guess where survivors run? This is like extremely important since you can't just rely on scratchmarks to track a survivor, especially since those are bugged as well.

  • Let's pray those totem spawn points won't be happening any more after 2.5.0. Or at least 2.6.0.

As you can see in this official graph, DBD is losing players. There's no point in denying it! So why is that?

First of all there's NOED. This perk literally needs to be changed. Killers can just lose the entire match and then suddenly they 4k, just because they have NOED.

It's pretty clear now. The Devs are killer favoured. Wasn't a 3k enough? Do they literally need to 4k every single game?

    (Spoiler)

At this point, just buff adrenaline. Let it work for every generator that is finished. Survivors can honestly use this, and I can already see the salty killer mains complaining that it's too strong while they 4k every game.

I'm so done with this game. This is gonna be my very last post.

    You just lost a customer.

    Slams the door

This is definitely not like @AlwaysInAGoodShape so this is a fun post! To be honest, we need more posts like these since they can really give you a good laugh about our community!

I was also wondering, normally his posts aren't like this so surely this is sarcasm?

I mean honestly - if I was new to a game and I wanted to check out a game and it's community, and I came here I would leave immediately.

There's far too many people complaining about things on the forums about minor things, the community is awful, rude and negative as much as possible.

and I'll admit, I'm awful too - I argue with people, but it's usually about my opinions, or calling out people who have said one thing and toddle over to another thread and spout something else.

This community needs to change, it needs to get out of it's rut and work together on real issues.

The only TRUE things plaguing this game are the map layouts (jungle jims/pallets too close/crotus prenn asylum layout).

and I know you are all going to whine about SWF/Killer Dodging etc but they aren't really problems.

I watch some of the greatest killers in this game play it and nearly none of them complain about SWF, they usually absolutely wreak havoc on them.

I've had great matches as killer against SWF, and I've had terrible ones. The same goes for matches with solo squads, I've had great matches and I've had terrible matches,.

Too many players on both side complain about things when it's simple their lack of skill in all honesty, they just wont admit it. Reminds me of that killer in another thread who is "stuck in brown ranks" while talking about how they dodge SWF, but also blamed SWF for their reason they're in, or survivors that get lucky pallets and DS and think they're god tier.

The community is the reason people aren't sticking around ( while your graph is nonsense btw) I can see how silly moaning posts like this would put someone off continuing.

TL;DR - Quit your moaning about silly little things that you aren't good against and focus on actual problems with the game moris/insta heals/map, pallet layouts/ Iridescent heads ETC. Most of the issues are with your playstyle over anything else.

I really agree with your post here. I'm curious, in what way do you think maps are problematic? Do you think they are too survivor sided? I feel like the pallets have been already adressed with the last mid chapter patch, but I wish there were more mindgameable pallets and less safe ones. Also some maps are so huge it feels like it's almost impossible to apply any proper map pressure as killer. I understand that people have a problem with gen rush, but I also think maybe it's better to adress map design first.

Keep dreaming, dude. No competitive mode will ever happen because it'd inconvenience survivors relying on SWFs for easy wins.

In the current balance state, such a separation would probably kill the game. First, the game needs to be balanced around voice comms (+ingame voice comms), but unforunately BHVR doesnt have the balls to do that

I've suggested built in proximity chat on here before but everyone goes insane disagreeing with the idea. It's definitely not as strong as swf voice comms but at least survivors will have no one to blame but themselves for not working as a team. Though some killers like trapper will get hit pretty hard by this.

No proximity chat, we need global teamchat for survivors, otherwise TS/discord will still be superior and thats what the game has to be balanced around

I mean just implementing chat into the game won't fix the balance. There are enough people who don't want to chat while playing survivor solo and get yelled at by some salty kids.

If you dotn want the advantage of chatting, thats fine, but dont deny the possibility for everyone else.
Fact is that voice comms are part of the game now and the game needs to be balanced aroudn them

I don't want a game balanced around something the majority of players won't use.

The majority of players already plays SWF, just fyi

yeah but they play with friends, not with strangers. I wouldn't want to chat with strangers.

You just said "I don't want a game balanced around something the majority of players won't use."
But fact ist that most of the players are using voice comms already, having an advantage over killers.

Yet, as far as I understood you, you want to keep the game balanced around solo play because you are a bit "socially awkward" even though you are the minority

Oh and btw, ofc there will be a mute button. You wont be forced talkign to strangers

I'm saying that there are enough people who don't want to communicate with strangers, simple as that. If your solution is to add voice comm to the game, and then buff most killers to the level of swf survivors, then watch all the solo survivor players leave this game because they don't want to chat with some salty strangers, yet if they don't use voice comms, will have a serious pr disadvantage and also put the rest of their team into a disadvantage. That's not going to work.
I wouldn't mind if voice chat was added to the game, but the game's biggest balance gaps between solo and swf survivors need to be adressed with ingame built in abilities for survivors that help solo survivors but not swf survivors. Aura reading abilities like kindred Tier 3 come to mind.

But its ok for killers to verse SWF while the game is being balanced around no voice comms. Guess they will have to suck it up eh?

Uhmm, I said they need to close the gap between swf and solo with aura reading abilities and other ingame abilities for survivors, and then killers can be balanced around swf more appropriately. Or did you just skip that part? And it really isn't that bad honestly.

Voice comm provide a much greater advantage than you think, what are the devs supposed to do? Light up all survivor auras permanently? And even then, communication is still stronger

It still better than forcing all solo survivors to use voice comms. I'm sure of that.

Nobod will force you to use the voice comms, I already said this. Of course you will be able to mute if you dont like talking to other people

Yes, but my point is if the devs were to balance killers around swf survivors, those solo survivors that wouldn't want to use voice chat would be quite screwed.

So just to summarize, am I understanding this correclty.

Voice comms are already used in a large majority of games due to SWF.
Now you say that implementing voice comms would screw over solo survivor (being a minority) that dont want to use voice comms.

So the killer has to deal with the unbalance of voice comms just that a minority of the minority of survivors gets their way?

Nah your right, better screw over the killers

Dear lord. There are enough solo survivors that wouldn't want to play with voice comms. I don't think it's fair to add voice comms, then buff most of the killers and just screw over the solo survivors who don't want to use voice comm. Killer don't have it that bad against swf groups, just the very weak ones if anything.
Also, I have repeatedly said that we need to close the gap between solo and swf in a different way, by giving survivors ingame abilities to their base kit that swf survivors have via voice comm. Are you skipping that part everytime? Sure you couldn't close the balance gap totally that way, but at least make it much smaller.
And then, if they've done enough, they can add voice comms in as well.

So its ok if the killer has to struggle with the unbalance of SWF, but dear lord. God prevent that the survivors might feel such a disadvantage if they dont want to participate in communication. How about you take your own advice and git gud in this scenario?

The gap between swf and solo can only be closed via ingame voice comms, there is no way around that.
Even if you would light on all survivor auras such taht they can see each other at any time, it would still not compensate for voice comms which enable the team to do a lot more beyond that.

So your suggestion is that it's time for solo survivors to struggle with the game's inbalance, no I'm sorry but that's not how a game is supposed to be balanced. I'll agree that gen rush in particular can be a problem in the game and is something the devs will hopefully address soon, but if you think the devs will add voice comms and then buff all killers to the level of swf survivors, then I'm sorry but I highly doubt that BHVR will do that.

No thats not what I said.
Solo survivors that refuse to use ingame voice comms, those are the ones that can struggle.
It cant be real that killers have to deal with a disadvantage in every game and have no possibility to do sth about that just because guys like you dont like the idea of talkign to strangers.

Its the same as in overwatch csgo or similar games, if you refuse talking with your team, then you will never be able to get into the highest ranks. Thats ok, not everybody is playing competitively but dont ruin the experience of everyone else

I still think it would be a too large part of the community affected by this. It just doesn't fit into the game to be forced to use voice comms in order to play competitively. Especially since voice comms only affects one side, the survivor side, unlike in Overwatch or CSGO. I fear longer killer queue times if the game is balanced in that direction.

Also killers who slug for the 4k or go tryhard are not 'professional.' They're tryhards.

Uhmm, I mean you can't really be mad at people who slug to go for the 4k or? If they want to, that's totally fine.

I don't get mad. But I wouldn't call them professional.

Well sure but tryhard doesn't necessarily seem fitting either.

Agree to disagree? I'll never change my mind about it. I'm pretty stubborn.

    lul that's fine.
