So survivor get another crutch.
Indirect nerf to BBQ and Wraith all seeing.
Does it work versus Freddy?
No timelimit on this?
If that would anything for a killer, that would be a perk instead f a free mechanic.
More training wheels for survivor. -

BBQ was so widely used cause it didn't give a drawback like Distressing does (Unless you're playing Doc, Nurse, or Huntress to some degree).
Why should a perk give a drawback at all?
Is there any survivor perk giving a drawback (beside No Mither)?
Let's talk about the most used survivor perks:
What's the drawback of SC, SB, DS, BT?? -

Nah. The entity fuels the killers to supernatural strength. They're fine. Can you imagine the bullshit trolling that would go on if there were penalties? Lampkin lane houses, the Game, Freddy's level just to start.
That's what the thread opener wants.

Let's discuss this from from reddit here:I was so hyped to be able to switch characters/masks/personas in the game and become a different guy of the legion with a slightly different power and advantages (one legion/persona for faster chase, one with lower terror radius, etc)
But then I found out you can only control one person, they all just have this sprint attack and the Legion are actually just different skins for the sake of the cash shop that look like death garden's runners.
The community was so hyped for a "persona changing" killer and it would have been sooo cool but behaviour missed a big opportunity and potential there.
What do you think?
I said it before and I say it again:
My guess, they already worked on Ghostface as a DBD killer, but they did not get the Licence.
But to safe all the work they done for it, they just rebranded the thing and called it "Legion".scream
-
The whole BBQ rework that created the version we have now, was made to solve SURVIVOR ISSUES.
But survivor kept complaining about it and got it nerfed already and get it nerfed again.
Let's wait for the next "camper only" complain threads.
Survivor will not stop complaining until the Devs force the killer to give free unhooks without reducing the reward for unhooking of course. -
This crappy OP pallets had been so long in the game, that now that it is FIXED, people complain about it, because they think it is perfectly ok for a pallet to create an instant magic forcefield.
-
Since won't solve the BT issue that's coming up.
Not every killer can apply another hit of deep wounds, so the unhooked can loop the killer without any timepressure, because the timer does not go down during a chase. -

Each survivor bansn a killer, so its 4 banns.
It would only be fair to give the killer 4 survivor banns tooIt would be enough to just ban survivor PERKS.
I would ban SC all day and laugh about all the 4ks. -
@twistedmonkey Sorry, but you sound pretty survivor biased here.
There are way more broken mechanics in the game holding the survivors hand than the other way round.
That the reason why this game is so survivorsided.
To many training wheels for bad survivor player instead of a good top down balance.
(Like all the new unhook buffs; exhaustion relief, invu frames, BT buff coming up)
Asymetrical games are not meant to be "fun" for everyone. If you are the one eliminated first, bad luck. Maybe not much fun in that match, but that's how asymetrical games work.
You can't be a part of the side with the superior numbers and still want to play the whole game.
The killer needs to reduce the team to have a chance.
You are talking like this is a regular versus game and ignore the asymetrical aspect. -
@twistedmonkey said:
frustration can comes in both competative and casual games and it normally comes from not doing so well in a match which can be caused by the fact a player is simply playing against other players that are just better than them,
Which is actually wrong. I often lose against survivor that "think" they are very skillful and "deserve" that win and behave toxic in the after match chat, but in fact, they suck and got protected by tons of broken game mechanics.
Right now, if both sides are on the same skilllevel, the survivor will win.
The killer has to be waaaaay better than the survivor to "win" (more than 2 kills).
They -the Devs- should adjust the game by rank. The higher ranked the match the fewer pallets should spawn and in low ranks the skillchecks made bigger, while in high ranks the great skillcheck zone needs to be reduced, etc, etc.
But since everything is the same from rank 20 to 1, it is still the same.At high ranks all the training wheels that survivor have should get disabled.

Because survivor get notification about everything that could scare them or catch them by surprise.
In a horror game jump scares are forbidden.
Survivor player always have to know if they are at any risk of getting downed, so they know when they can bully the killer and when not.Not what i was asking for.
Why does MYC make the survivor produce a hurt sound and blood flows from your handThat's exactly the answer… to inform the survivor that something happend to him in case the small skull at the side of his screen is not enough for him.

So tell me why is it so easy to nerf BBQ?
That's a perk the majority of KILLER is using, but it gets nerfed… again.
And they do that without the blink of an eye. There is a bigger Survivor player base than Killer.
So it is ok, to cater the majority and ignore the needs of the minority, despite the game needs both to be played?
I personally do not believe so, and never stated that I did. As a Killer main, I feel the pain of this decision. Unfortunately my opinion means less than yours and BHVR thinks it is perfectly fine.
Which is still wrong and should be expressed as such.
Maybe some day it will sink into their stubborn brains.Agreed it is wrong, it fuels the toxic behaviour between Killers and Survivors but despite that it is smart business, as much as I hate that term. It is a lot better for your business to listen to the majority than go against them.
It would also be a smart business to build a game that has a good reputation for being balanced and fun.

Rank 1 and all pro, but you think that multiple survivor working on one gen is "gen rush"?
Gen rush is the real.In 100 seconds there can be 3 gen pop so yes it is actually called gen rush
Actually less than 80 seconds. 80 seconds 1 survivor alone on one gen, without toolbox or great checks.
4 survivor spread out on different gens. Killer can find and chase only one. With each hit taking 30-40 seconds against a decent survivor with all pallets still available, plus the time to pick up and carry someone to the hook, this = 3 gens done with the first victim on the hook and the killer is basically already caught pants down.
Doing gens together with diminished returns in repair progress would actually slow this down. -

I'm trying not to laugh, but i just can't.Did you bother reading the whole post or did you just cherry pick 2 lines?
If no perk or item is needed, the mechanic has to be BALANCED around that.
So it needs to have different shortcomings, but it does not have that.
No perk needed.
No item needed.
No mate needed.
No healing moans made.
No anti healing effects triggered (Mangled, NC, etc.)
Bleed out timer stop while chased.
Bleed out timer stops while mending.
Bleed out timer is overall pretty long.
And on top of that it is performed rather fast! There are many screws that could get turned to balance this, but of course you picked the one that fits your agenda to try and mock me.

You are good at running around a car, or wait, you are good at strategicaly defending the hook ? spare me some timethis game was meant as a casual / have fun with friends game, not for wanna be's go pro dudes
So two sides play against each other to win and you call that "not competitive"??
If you play survivor YOU can have some "fun with friends", but for sure the killer player is not there to have "fun with his friends".
You want the game to be balanced for survivor. You want a onesided balance instead of a balance that is "fun" for BOTH sides.

We already have a killer that is weak if people split up but strong if they are grouped.
Guess what? That one is a low tier (garbage) killer. :P -
@PhantomKombat1 said:
Okay, I think that The Legion needs a lot more buffs and changes to be a decent killer, and not some very weak version of The Pig.First off, I think that the bleed out timer and self mending mechanic is super off-balance. Essentially the bleed out timer takes too long if you’re able to just go off and mend yourself, and it not being able to continue to deplete during a chase. Also, I think that in order to add more pressure to the survivors, the bleed out timer should continue to go down even while you’re mending yourself, but at a decreased rate. Just having it stop completely seems to throw of the killer’s map pressure a tad.
Second, I think that if you deactivate The Frenzy yourself, that there should be a decreased to nonexistent stun. When you’re in a chase and you don’t catch up to a survivor or any other number of situations where you don’t land a hit within the power’s duration, the stun makes sense. However, when you’re chasing on your own, deactivating The Legions’s power yourself should have that reduced penalty because you often loose the survivor in the same manor, making the power seem kind of useless IMO.
I think, however, that all of The Legion’s perks are really well suited for the new killer and loads of situations and I don’t have any complaints. I feel like the locker perk can kind of be a perk that only applies to VERY specific situations and therefore won’t get a lot of use, but I don’t have very many ideas on how to make it better. Let me know what you think!
The Legion has a gratuitous amount of potential but I feel like the different aspects and debuffs of his power in game take away from the overall feel of the killer and the actual gameplay. It seems as though much of the different aspects don’t work in favour of one another and make The Legion feel somewhat unusable/weak.
Comment your opinions so I can a grasp of what others think about this new killer! (Also I hope the DEVS see this and consider some changes to The Legion)
- Yes, bleed out is to long, especially since it stops during chases and when you "mend". Mending should be considered "healing" with all resulting effects (NC, Sloppy, Caulthro, Bot Kno, etc.).
1.1 BT should stay the way it was before and not be changed to "deep wounds". - Deactivating Frenzy should not reset the Frenzy bar completely and it should lessen the stun.
- Give Legion a NORMAL size TR, not that 24m crap. A reduced TR is hindering his core kit power, which is completely contradicting.
- Make insta down abilities work while in Frenzy. Either down the person or at least make it take double or even triple the amount of the bleed out bar.
And I grab that from another thread as my #5.
@Nickenzie said:
Frenzy should be able to down injured survivors but not down survivors who are in the deep wound status effect. This would encourage survivors to heal to the healthy state instead of running around injured.
- Hiding scratchmarks while in Frenzy is already a bad move, but at least they should reappear if Frenzy ends.
- Yes, bleed out is to long, especially since it stops during chases and when you "mend". Mending should be considered "healing" with all resulting effects (NC, Sloppy, Caulthro, Bot Kno, etc.).

No SC needed.
No medkit needed. So you want people who don't use SC and are playing solo ,and do the killer a favour if you think about it, to go down in 1 single hit because they got hit by a surprise sneak attack and had no chance to do anything?
Did you even play as the new killer? When did I say any of that?
Stop trying to put words into my mouth.
The mechanic is a bad design.
IF you can mend so easy -without a perk or medkit- it has to be BALANCED around that.
It needs to trigger all healing related effects and needs to take longer.
Right now it is a joke. -
@Freudentrauma said:
@Wolf74 BT doesn't apply on the unhooker anymore. If somebody makes an unsafe unhook and you go for the unhooker, then you don't have to deal with BT. So it doesn't encourage hookrushing that much, because to be safe as an unhooker you must somehow achieve to unhook unharmed at least.
On the other hand BT still gurantees to get full 1500 Bp for careless farming. And with the BT changes it buffs the situation for farmed survivors. So if a survivor careless farms people they can do it without spoiling the game for all the other survivors, especially the unhooked who gets at least a chance to run away or stall the killer in a chase. But I doubt this makes the situation that much more comfortable for the unhooked survivor. You actually read that I do know the vid is old?
Anyway… the problem stays the same. With the new BT it will literally FORCE the killer to go for the unhooked instead of the unhooked, which is very bad for the killer, because spreading out the damage among the team is always bad for the killer.
Killer need to remove survivor from the game asap.
Because there is no drawback from getting hooked once or getting hit once.
The killer did not achieve anything if he manages to everyone twice.
Yea, I know, he can pip so he won… blabla.

I'm not saying Freddy is the best killer I'm just saying he's better than what everyone thinks.
... Huh. Nonetheless he still needs a buff. Maybe a Rework of his powers. Just because he's better than 2 killers does not mean freddy suddenly doesn't need a buff.
He really doesn't need any changes. It's piss easy to 4k with him if you play him right. Even with no perks.

If the Devs want to make some money, they should start making killer for killer-player instead of making killer to cater the needs of the survivor.

Its mentioned a lot everywhere. People just trying to get survivors to spend more time healing and less time on gens.
Tell me then, how would YOU fix this killer? What changes would you make?
Spending more time healing is actually "giving them time to heal".
And you have not explained that "anti-heal-meta" should actually be.Changes? From the top of my head without any real hard thinking:
1. Mending IS healing (affected by NC, Sloppy, Caulthro, etc)
2. BT is NOT "deep wounds"
3. Bleedout times should not stop completely while chased, just get slowed down
4. Bleedout timer should not stop while mending
5. Legions speed increased to 112.5 % (maybe even to 115%)
6. Insta down abilities (MYC, Noed, etc) should work while in Frenzy, or at least draw double the amount from the bleedout bar. -
The change is terrible. BT timer reduced by 5 seconds is worth nothing. Good looper can now waste your time like crazy, because the timer does not run out while chased.
And you can get chased forever and right out the open gate, because the timer won't run out!
And to "mend" you do no longer need help or SC or a medkit… just rub your belly for 15 seconds while you are unaffected by Sloppy, NC, Caulthro, etc. -
