Not gonna lie really disliked this map thought it was ugly and had poor game design by a billion unsafe pallets possibly unsafest in the game upstairs. And neutered half the killer roster I had this map so much with Hillbilly and it broke me every time. This gives them a chance to add a new map from the originals who didn’t have one Trickster comes to mind. Or add to a one map realm like Lerys. Which honestly they should make sure there’s no one map realm.
-
I’m celebrating. While tragic for the characters(minus Steve). The map sucked for balance and looked ugly. And eliminated some powers my Hillbilly side says good riddance.

no, it such an amazing map, and the best indoor map, the only killer that truly has a hard time on it is blight
Laughs in Hillbilly
-
Myers, Spirit, and Bubba(Don’t want to loop them too long). Also Plague since I like to run Second Wind We’ll Make It
-
Honestly after playing with a few Self-Care gamers against Sloppy. Kind of glad

Let’s hope they surprise us with a unique power.

Another thing people don’t realize the aura is only utilizable on a few killers. While for the majority it’s worthless I saw someone say it’s a great perk on Trapper. I laughed so hard.
-
While you’ll learn the map layouts it’s still hard to get around. They eliminate the usefulness of some killers powers. You have to navigate a billion rooms to reach the gen which you still might not be able to reach in time. Because once again copy and pasted entirely different game onto this one. And hard to balance because it’s not original. Hence the poor designs. Midwich is small enough to get over RPD is two Red Forests on top of each other. With the hard navigation of an indoor map.

I don’t understand the complaint threads about Hillbilly- do you guys play Survivor? There are some REALLY good Billy’s out there. I’ll admit he’s no longer a popular character, but when I saw him pre-SBMM, he was a force to be reckoned with. A lot of Billy mains can kick ass even without his best turning add-ons. They know their maps, and are able to anticipate movement. Very seldom to they bump into anything. They use info and gen slowdown perks. Rarely do they M1. Seen enough 4K with just the chainsaw in Red Ranks. No face camping and no tunneling needed.
I imagine however, like most of the killer cast- he struggles against gawd tier 4 man squads. They somehow can bait/misdirect last second and avoid insta downs, even in tight quarters. I’m sure you’ll get a few of those who can do that in Solo que as well, but then you need to realize it’s not best to continue the chase and save them for last. Go for someone weaker.
Because the update sucked lots of the old enjoyment out of them. You need to run a overheat add on to not be punished for using your power. Can’t rely on shorter dev add-one since one you become 4.4. And another you need to be pallet stunned and only for 30 seconds. You have awful animations where survivors can vanish off your screen because your fov is weakened. Hit boxes are a joke they don’t bump into things on purpose but for some reason still hit objects that don’t even touch the chainsaw. He’s not as strong as he use to but the fun in him was zapped.

Hillbilly absolutely needed a meter
Infectious Fright Billy was a braindead easy way to get wins
And it’s worst then a Nurse, Oni, Blight or any good snowball killer with Infectious?

What am I missing ? He has some solid add ons. If you use his yellow add on. You almost never have to worry about over heat.
He's still extremely strong. To the point that a young billy player like me who can't hit curves yet. Still 4ks WAY more then I don't. Just by his mobility and getting back rev saws(which is super easy)
No his add-ons are total trash. You have to run one overheat add-on so you’re not punished for using your power. Other examples. Shorter rev but you’re 4.4. Quicker cool down when you have a flashlight on you. After a hit you’re undetectable. They’re mostly trash

Lots of Haddonfield and Midwich

I still don’t understand how people can say it’s worse than Haddonfield.
Not necessarily in balance, at least on that map I can zoom with Hillbilly, launch hatchets with Huntress, but RPD majority of fun interesting powers not useable.

and I can safetly say you have not been patient enough with it, at all.
come back in 2 more months of playing, then you will have been patient enough.
No, I’m still gonna hate it nothing enjoyable like not being able to get a gen right next to you.

You fool now the devs will see this

Game is on the verge of dying again. Time to go play Outer Worlds and other single player story games

he's right trapper needs a full rework, not just a few add-ons added to basekit.
So the easiest solution is adding some bags and other stuff to basekit.
or completely overhaul this killer he's super dated.
Then they give Clown, Demo, and Wraith add-ons base kit
-
Just eliminate All-Seeing blood and we’re good

Fair enough, if that is your opinion, my friend.
However, I don't mind that much Legion's current power. It certainly is more manageable than his first one.
It’s too boring and weak in my opinion. I mean you run around and stab people a little quicker.
-
@GeneralV said:
Hopefully, never. The word "rework" makes me sick, it makes me wanna puke.
The only killer who needs a rework is Freddy, so we can get rid of his boring new power. The others could use numerical buffs or maybe a few QoL changes.
Cough Legion Cough

I like it both sides

I’m a Meghead though :(
How long have you been walking for Sprint Burst?
-
@MegMain98 said:
Only reason you think that is because Meg is a free character so a majority of new players are going to either gravitate toward Meg or Claudette since they have very beginner friendly perks and they are free to play.
Thinking that “all Megs are bad” is like saying “all characters with unnatural color hair and bright outfits are only looking to bully the killer”. You can’t base someone’s skill on the survivor they are playing because survivors are just skins. Nothing special. My IQ isn’t going to increase if I play Nea instead of Meg. It makes no sense.
When I stop getting them basement rushing without BT in purple and red ranks

Agreed, although if we are both being honest this is likely a troll.
No, majority of them are terrible and with Sprint Burst they’re a slowdown
-
@ciara1999 said:
Ah, yes makes perfect sense.
Blame the skill of the player, on the fictional character they use.
Well when none of them recover or basement rush without BT. I’m gonna believe that Megs just don’t produce good players
-
Killer don’t stress I’ve lost track of the times I loose 3 gems early and still score a 4K.
Survivor be aware this goes for loops and gems and knowledge of what the killer can do and their perks
-
It keeps all the current affects, but you regain tokens by a safe unhook or healing a health state. To encourage the blendette to help
-
If survivors know what they’re doing Legion. May it be a 1 in 3 billion good solo team. Or some competitive SWF. But in reality any killer is viable in Solo Q
-
Never loop a Bubba for too long unless you want to risk getting Insidious camped
-
@MigrantTheGreat said:
Can someone explain what Second Wind is? I've read the perk description but it still makes no sense to me.
You heal a full health state then after you’re unhooked in 20 seconds you have the broken status affect but after that you reach full health of injured

I feel it's an underrated perk that I need to try.
It is one teammate bodyblock and you’re safe

Try Second Wind personally I’ve found it to work very well
-
Still stuttering a fair amount less but still a lot worst for killer

Is there interaction between Open-Handed and either Leader or Alert? I started using Leader recently.
Alert and Leader are good on their own. But for Open-Handed pair it with Kindred or Bond for great informational

Ehhh, I'd give legion the exception since his power actually revolves around it, but high mobility killers are still locked to 1 person at a time, and pretty much all of them can't just magically see all other survivors while they're using their powers. A nurse going after 1 guy isn't gonna make me stop pushing a gen, same with Oni, same with Billy and ....A legion on the other hand...yeah I'm probably gonna move even if I'm not 100% sure he's on my ass next since thats how his power operates.
I would say doctor is great at 1v4....except his power doesn't actually do much except provide tracking. The skillchecks and random sound effects don't really change the game. Like, if I tier up from a doctor who's in the area chasing somebody else...I'm not gonna stop what I'm doing, he can't just boost to exactly where I'm at and then boost back to some other team mate in 2 seconds like legion.
Pig is fine in the 4v1 with her slowdown. Hag with her ability to apply multiple hits quickly. Doctor’s kit gives him the option to focus on the 1v1 or 4v1. So, there’s lot of killers with 4v1 abilities it none with it as their core feature.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/270475/trickster-1v1-complete-bs
Where did all you new survivors come from thinking that you can 1v1 killers? Fun fact....all killers are 1v1. Theres no such thing as a 1v4 killer. You can only chase and down 1 person at a time, the one exception being leatherface and all of you have to be standing on top of each other.
Current Legion is a 4v1 killer along with doctor. And any killers who can snowball quickly or have good mobility means they’re good for the 4v1. Since they can spread damage quickly.
-
From what I heard it’s more like Freddy 2.0 where the hate stems from add-on and perk synergy.
-
Huntress is a popular killer with a strong power that’s simple to understand. Who is easy to learn but hard to master. Allowing for more casual players to perform well with her. Also fun to play and doesn’t have to deal with managing a cool down or recharge
-

Providing it's not a team where someone is following the killer and disabling all the traps. So other than nurse there is usually no other way than to wait until the entity blocks the window and you can't keep abandoning chases against an efficient team
Yeah, but most games are Solo Q with Meg heads
-
Because too many devs got reverse chainsawed while hiding in a corner.
-
Under the basis the survivors know what they’re doing in this F tier order Trapper,Myers, Legion although Solo Q is a path to many weird things so any killer can compete there.

I'm talking about killers in general.
Trapper and Hag can use them to their advantage. Nurse doesn’t care. Ranged killers can deal with them a little. Everyone else nothing
-
Because he is currently balanced out by having no mobility and god awful snowball potential
-
No, only buff it could use is it procs twice to deal with the hardcore tunnelers
-
Survivor: Jake, Ace, and David
Killer: Hillbilly, Hag, Ghostface, and Nemesis
-
Hag likes god windows
-
He’s definitely no where near the worst killer I. The game anymore. And from what I heard from Clown Mains the yellow bottles can allow for hits that otherwise couldn’t be achieved before with just purple bottles. Still not high tier but Amy killer can do fine in Solo Q. S,A,B,C,F tier Clown is High C tier
