There are no inherently useless perks in this game there are just perks that do a lot or too much even. The 'weaker' perks usually need to be used in a combo with other stuff. Boil over can be used with flip flop so that you can edge out that last 25% if they slug you a bit etc.

Shows the devs need to include more changes on the Mid-Chapter without somehow ruining the game with poor performance
-
Spirit has the best 1v1 in the game. With some mobility to compliment and great add-ons
-
I kind of like them more they seem more roughly made
-
Bills and Tapps try to be good teammates
-
Since the layout is original they can make it into an original map fix the many issues of Old Hawkins. Make it possibly into a second map for Lerys since each map should at least have two variations

Truly depends on what I’m feeling sometimes I enjoy certain killers other times I don’t.

ok, but why would you specifically ask for indian folklore without having an idea of what to adapt from it?
also, I watch anime, I knew the inspirations for the oni.
I’m aware of some Indian folklore. And likely there’s more I’m unaware of since India has a long ancient history. With Oni prior to his release no one really knew what the Oni was.

I did say "slightly" XD
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2466710#Comment_2466710
cool. what are some possible killer from their folklore? because I'm 99% sure I never heard about any of them (unless it's one of those "every country has ghosts/spirits stories" type of thing)
Well we didn’t know the Oni either and now nearly the entire community has their support behind him. India is very ancient and likely has lots of options to work with and with India’s development DBD can be big there

@Alice_pbg said:
by "indian", you mean from india?
or just not the correct word to refer to natives? (unless you are brazillian, in which case it is the correct word, but only in portuguese)
hag is slightly based on the wendigo, which as far as I know, is a folklore from native-americans. so there's that
Yes the Sub-Continent Indian

Spirit when not bugged has the best 1v1 in the game. But, Nurse being barely behind in that and with the best Snowball potential in the game triumphs her.

By themselves they’re balanced although once they’re chained with another loop right next to them like Suffocation pit they’re nutty good
-
There are a few of the top killers who don’t need gen regression perk, but the majority will loose without them

I do not. In fact, I loved playing against old Billy as long as he was not running double charge speed. The differences between Old Billy and Blight are 1) Blight takes far less skill to land hits 2) Is less punished for missing 3)Has even better mobility 4)Billy has reasonable counterplay and juke options, which Blight does not, especially if they run speed or recharge. I reckon many spirit mains have currently switched to Blight because they´re comparably easy to win with and steamroll soloq players.

Weather has nice potential but can go seriously wrong
-
Trapper, Myers, Legion the three killers I considered F tier. They all suffer the moment survivors get good. And first two are outdated. Trapper is the worst killer without add-ons. Legion has no chase potential. And all need add-ons to make it.
-
He’s not really the worst he has good anti-loop and if you learn the yellow bottles well it helps in dealing with his weakness pre drop and hold w.
-
The devs need people to buy Bubba. It wouldn’t be an issue if there weren’t so many perks that were bad or worthless offerings like the mist ones
-
How does Ghostface and Myers lag they literally just stare at people for their power. How does you make that lag?
-
For every perk cool down should at most be 60 seconds. 80 seconds is way too long and they should reduce it to 60 along with Oppression. Since Dragons already can be quite conditional like MYC.
-
Nemesis needs a Rocket Launcher or Flamethrower perhaps
-
Like someone said once if all survivor perks were super powerful a killer would possibly need to put up with 16 perks. While survivors only need to face four.
-
Spirit a Nurse I can handle but not Spirit. Myers is god awful they usually run rabbit or monitor so they’re on you before you have time to think. Or they do scratched mirror to an indoor map or perma tier 3 with Myers memorial

Fortnite is much bigger game then DBD.
DBD needs licenses to survive.
Then they’ll go grab another license literally today and likely more iconic then Stranger Things so they still have plenty to work with. There was always a chance a license would vanish. But behavior has enough horror icons to grab from. While Stranger Things is popular they’ll still have the most famous slashers in history

Hawkins is the best indoor map, and one of my favourite maps in general.
Why would anyone celebrate content being removed?
Because that content gave me an unenjoyable experience.

I’m quite sure it’s like mobile when they didn’t have a nightmare on elm street yet the perks become perks you already have access to

It's clear you've made that choice.
And I’m case you missed when DS was nerfed and these forums were lit with celebration was that super cringe since it ruined the fun for some?

Again. If things were reversed and it was something YOU liked, I'm sure celebrating about it wouldn't necessarily make you jump for joy. It doesn't have to be Hillbilly, just used him as an example because it seems like you like him.
There are many things in this game that are not balanced, doesn't mean the flat out removal of those things is the better option. The game already suffers from not having enough maps, so it was nice to have something different to spawn in while in map rotation.
And guess what that’s fine if you wanna celebrate it. Everyone can choose to celebrate or hate something that happens in this game. I like Midwich guess what if it’s removed you can celebrate that map being removed that’s fine. Forums are here to talk about things. People celebrated DS being nerfed so was that cringe when literally 99 percent of the community celebrated?

I think it was a pretty good map. Having a higher chance of getting Haddonfield and such will just be a lose lose situation.
But, I also see a higher chance for MacMillan.

Don't play a killer that only works in outdoor maps lol
So I should just play low tier killers like Pig? Brilliant idea

Always been a chance just hadn’t happened yet so people were surprised. But it seems like many believed this was never a possibility

I really disliked this map it was poorly designed with no real good pallets and too few good windows and the classical eliminates the usefulness of certain killer powers. Would’ve been better to change, but since it was licensed any meaningful good changes were unlikely and I disliked it enough
-
@DetailedDetriment said:
What's so great about losing game content? You'll eventually miss the map, especially since it's removal makes RCPD even more common.
Well guess what it also increases the chance for maps I enjoy like MacMillan and Coldwind. Which is 10-1 and removes a map that would be a certain L by eliminating the usefulness of certain killer powers

This is a ######### thing to make a whole thread about, dude. You don't have to be disappointed like some of us but you really don't have to be a douche about it.
Well guess what dude I’m not saying it’s a problem that others like this map. Me and others really disliked this map in my opinion it was poorly designed. And simply we’re celebrating it’s gone. So way to be a douche by not saying we shouldn’t be happy about something.
-
@Johnny_XMan said:
Just because you don't like it doesn't mean others feel the same way.
So I think it's kind of weird how it's a moment to "celebrate". Imagine if they further nerfed Hillbilly, I'm sure you would think those people celebrating seem cringe too, no?
Except Hillbilly is balanced and suffers little balance issues. Hawkins has a plethora of balance issues

OG version of The Game was well designed, at least in my opinion.
Right next to Haddonfield and Badham super survivor maps. Hawkins with unsafe pallets galore and neutered killer powers.(Same with current game). Midwich with it’s hard navigation and camping potential. And RPD with it’s everything

Right. I think that players who are happy about this are not looking at the objective, longterm ramifications of what this could mean for the game.
I’m aware it means further licenses are in question but tell me have you ever seen a good designed licensed map? This opens up the chance for the devs to add a map that’s original and actually well designed.
-
Unlikely they’re gonna add another horror icon next chapter(PTB tomorrow) chance to be more iconic then Demo in killer terms and much more to make up for the loss of Stranger Things. Though still brutal
