Can we stop flaming people who wanted a different chapter?
I see more people making fun of those who wanted a certain character than people who do want him. Its extremely childish, just let people want who they want.
Edit: I should clarify, the people that spam are annoying and should be put on blast. But I'm talking about the people that vilify those that say they would like a *insert character* chapter.
Comments
Please stop making these topics.
I'm pretty sure the PTB is just a bait.
It's gonna be FNAF on official release.
Just move on. Please. No more fnaf drama.
RIP for Candyman and FNAF fans
I just want the hate to stop. I don't like logging on Twitter and seeing anyone's dream chapter get trashed. Why can't we all be supportive?
Please stop avoiding the topic. Its stupid to flame others that simply want a ficfional character in a videogame.
Ignore the people who are shitting on others for wanting a different chapter all you want, but don't try and stop others from voicing it.
Sorry no FNAF, guys. Maybe next chapter!
This isn't just about fnaf. Its about all wanted chapters.
Why can't we all be supportive?
Because it gets annoying seeing "I want (x) character as killer/survivor in dbd" spammed on certain platforms (forums, twitter, etc.)
I like how you literally came with a reply that was unrelated to the comments i made.
Unfortunately FNAF will not be in DBD at this time. Perhaps a future chapter?
That doesn't give you a pass to make fun of them. Tell them its annoying to spam and move on.
It's not just about FNAF but thank you for assuming so.
Exactly.
Yes. That's true, but it's done. The thing that annoyed us all, was some fnaf forum members were in denial and refused to listen logically. That's what made more of the calm and collected people irate.
Just because they wouldn't LISTEN. They shot down every logical piece of evidence you can muster, we had a fnaf member try to bait people to start drama after it was confirmed to be Hellraiser.
It's done. We can move on. They have a shot just like all of us. But we can never move on when we keep getting posts like this.
Nothing against you.
Been on here for over a year but ok.
I'll make a deal. I'll stop, if they stop making threads every 6 minutes about how we need their children's game to be in DBD. Deal?
Its not even worth arguing anymore.
It's not fnaf drama. It's a problem with this community.
So you think it's mature to flame people for wanting something that you didn't. Right.
I could but making fun of people is funny
I've never been flamed for wanting Candyman. In fact, the vast majority of people haven't been flamed for wanting this or that character. It's only a specific fandom that spammed the forum with threads, purposefully denied the evidence in their faces "out of spite", and generally made a nuisance of themselves, which made any normal dialogue impossible. That's why people were upset.
Sure that's fair but responding in the way people have is not how you deal with it. It just makes the issue worse and creates more problems.
I still don't think its ok to hate a game franchise and all of its fans just because of a vocal minority, a lot of which were trolls.
How do you feel when people make fun of things that you like? or are associated with.
In this context yes,
but for no reason, no.
That's beside the point. People got angry because of the spam and that fandom's conduct. Right now, constantly bringing it up, even if just to say "let's treat each other nicer when this happens", is just rubbing salt on the wounds, especially when you just try to deflect blame away from the fandom ("vocal minority", "trolls").
Give people a break from the subject, get that fandom to conduct itself like everyone else, and I assure you far fewer people are going to have a problem with it.
I don't particularly care until they make it personal :)
Tell them its annoying to spam and move on
You can tell them to stop, but them and 5+ other people are going to continue to spam it.
Kinda hard to "move on" when it appears almost every time you refresh a page or click on a DBD twitter (or any other kind of social media) post.
Could be worse, your cries for your Dream chapter of Tony the Pimp from Demons could get completely ignored by both the Dev team and the entire community...
Oh yeah I should've specified making fun of people for no reason, or for a horrible reason, isn't funny. Like making fun of someone for losing a job, not it.
I agree, I'm glad you specified that because I was worried you were someone else.
I haven't seen anyone 'flaming' anyone on here... are you sure this isn't exclusively concerning Twitter? Because you've said you're sick of logging onto that in light of recent -- petty -- arguments surrounding chapter releases on that platform.
This was just a slight scroll down, I didn't look that hard. This was also not accounting the forums. Or the guy who got banned for trying to bait people into a dramatic fight over the forums after it was confirmed to be Hellraiser.
I like letting everyone have a chance to enter the game as well. But, I will not let someone say it isn't about fnaf, I personally had fnaf fans ######### on my hopes of Candyman and use the excuse that it's the internet to avoid blame.
One or two were genuinely just a bit upset with a negative response from us. The rest you can figure out
These kind of people are annoying, but I'm talking about the people that vilify anyone who wants Springtrap.
I promise you this.
For one fnaf hater. You get two fnaf toxic supporters.
There's nothing wrong with a genuine fnaf fan and if you are. Don't worry, this does not apply to you. People are more tired of fnaf supporters who refused to listen or acknowledge anyone's factual statements. I'm against pushing a fanbase away as well. But. That's what irks a good chunk of us.
