Thanks. I´m a little dummy when it comes to such things though^^
They did get bored eventually. I tried reporting them regardless of my lack of recorded evidence, because they should have tools to detect such absurdities right?
They also were a crossplayer (I´m on steam) so I didn´t know how to submit their ID in a ticket.
What baffled me was the fact that these cheating tools have been scourging the game for literally years and they´re still around lmfao.

I wonder why there hasn´t been an official response to the situation yet; it´s propably the most pressing issue the game has ever faced and yet all they provide is silence. If the trend continues, it definately has the potential to cause massive damage to the game.

I spend 30 minutes writing an essay, thanking them for several things and moving forward my criticism on certain things, for example the crazy disparities between the strong and the weak killers, the stale perk meta and the cheater situation.

Prove Thyeself, bonus bp are also awarded for altruistic coop + WGLF for the juicy stacks + For the people to escape as the obsession (extra BP) + flex perk and a medkit with the bonus bp addons for survival points. EZ BP :)

Cheaters have become so prevalent I´ve put killer aside for the time being, it´s too annoying having around 25% of your matches with blatant cheating - no idea how many subtle cheaters are out there though,but in the face of the massive cheater epidemic we´re currently in it would be pretty naive to assume there were only a few of these.

Anything but some juicy buffs would trigger "gearhead nerfed lol" reactions, he´s literally an m1 killer with 0 chase pressure who suffers tremendously from swf and stretched res and who has 4 addons that are worth the slot.
Also, if you´re a person who struggles with reveal, practice with a friend or sth, the inconsistencies are massively exaggerated.

Idk, they shared what they could, and when the community picks stupid questions they get stupid answers.
Other than giggles (UwU) they aren´t even PR peoperu, but they did quite well imo.
I just wish they had addressed the cheaters that are currently flooding the game, but that´s my only complaint.

The weird math behind the mmr would explain why there is such an abundance of killers in high mmr compared to survivors. If it´s that ez to climb mmr as killer, go figure.

I hope you´re wrong because as it is, it´s unbearable, and I´d like to be able to play killer again at some point without having a 20-25% chance of having a cheater match.

Obviously they do know about the massive rise of cheaters. Imo, we´re faced with two possible conclusions:
A) They just don´t care. Sadge!
B) They are unable to handle the situation from a technical standpoint. RIP!
Either way, it´s propably save to assume that the situation will only worsen from now up to the point where people literally stop playing the game. Maybe then they will implement a working anti cheat or a reasonable, effective report and replay system. I don´t even play killer myself anymore because of the cheater pandemic.

Depends on the killer, really. Like, you can get away with no slowdown on spirit or blight in many cases but there are like 10-15 killers who are extremely underwhelming even with 4 slowdowns.
My go-tos are usually corrupt+pop, but I like to switch it up with surge, ruin and even deadlock sometimes now.

You can see with native res yes, but the difference in how much you can see is a major difference, I'm sure even you can see that.
Also imagine trying to use stealth anywhere outside of a building or macmillan gym against stretched gamers lol

Like many other balance flaws it´s because of Blight, Nurse and Spirit. Any blanket change to killer makes these even more crazy op than they currently are, and because bhvr has proven unable to determine what is actually strong and what is not in the past we have like 16 killers that can´t keep up with competent teams.

Balance wise it´s propably never been better (except for low-rank soloq and low tier killers pepehands) but cheating has become more frequent than ever. This makes the game super unfun (mostly for killer though, for some reason cheaters prefer survivor).

Your concerns are valid, regardless of hours!
In this case very much so I´m afraid. Many maps will be a nightmare for killers to chase on with IW+Boons (and footsteps being broken half the time lol)

The effects are on the same level as killer hexes. The risk sure is not, and this is where the problems stem from.

You´re not alone. Hacking has become so widespread that I´m currently on a break from killer.

The only worrisome aspect of the key/hatch changes are those games where the survivor team got matched with a killer way way way above their skill level and they´ve gotten reduced to 2 players for 3+ remaining gens to do. It opens up the possibility for insanely drawn out matches where those last 2 survivors just hide for half an hour and hope the other person gets found first lol

I want it to get the Balanced Landing nerf. Balanced Landing was probably nerfed because some maps had "a few too many drops". Ruin/Undying and Tinkerer, I want reworked because it is way too OP on fast killers. Both sides should be treated equal.
You know I usually don´t vibe too much with your statements but the ruin/undying/tinkerer combo is actually unbearable for solos or teams of less than 4 if blight/nurse/spirit use it. It well deserved it´s name <3

It´s really gotten out of hand - the massive increase in hacker encounters started around Pinhead release. I´m currently not playing killer (survivor main anyway, bless) because it´s always a couple survivors hacking per session. It´s nuts how frequent it has become.
Glad your most recent encounter had some wholesomness to take off the edge a bit <3

He will still be bottom 3 at least, simply because he´s so off-meta. Depending on how strong the reworked addons are he may be not the worst though, we shall see.

Still a Survivor main at heart but before the Pinhead patch I had become more of a 60/40 player. Not touching killer until the hacker epidemic is resolved though.

TL walls and shack are both balanced because they allow reads for both sides. The problem isn't whether the survivor has control in the chase, it's map size, gen speeds, and spawns that makes it survivor sided.
Nah as soon as you figure out how to position at the shack window to always get the fast vault you can´t get hit by an M1 before entity blocks it and the pallet has been kicked, period. Many killers are forced to instantly leave chase if you reach shack unless they want to throw the game because you clicked at them or sth lol. Obviously there are exceptions like blight, huntress, nurse etc who can deal with shack quite well.

The upcoming changes are very promising indeed. If you can handle playing against hackers a lot then I´d say give it a shot (currently insane influx of hackers).

I agree with you. I mean he´s got around 10x the average hours of the survivors he faced. Imo the point is that Otzdarva is just much better/experienced than the average player and can make even the trash Killers work against opponents that are far less skilled than him.
I think there´s a video where he plays against Hens&Friends on Saloon (good trapper map) and he gets like 3 hooks, which is a good result still considering he was playing trapper lmao

Solo just needs some things to bring them closer to swf. Most importantly imo:
Kindred Base. Totem Counter as part of the HUD. Maybe a 50m Bond base. Portrait icons that display what a player is doing at any given time.
In case that ever happens, most killers would obviously need buffs even more than they currently do. I´d suggest to lower basic attack CD by 0.3-0.4 seconds, speeding up vaulting and pallet breaking by 10% and giving a sizeable buff to base regression (could go with some gen-regression perk nerfs).

You mean Myers, Ghostface, Pig, Plague, yes, Trapper, Freddy, Bubba, Phead and maybe someone I´m forgetting? A significant portion of the roster is utterly helpless against shift+W. It´s kinda bonkers how lame and effective it is.

There's something serious happening rn. I played for 2 years without encountering a single hacker and after Pinhead chapter it's not rare to encounter at least one everyday.
Ikr? My experience is not quite the same as yours though, I have encountered hackers several times over the years but nowhere near as prevalent as currently.

It´s kinda crazy how prevalent hackers have become. For the past 1-2 weeks there is not a day of gaming without at least 1-2 blatantly obvious hackers.
