Little iffy on Tinkerer while it is devastating on say Billy or Blight best mobility killers in the game. With perks. It needs other perks for true devastation one of them gone quite quickly. As well, it’s meh on 4.6 killers and garbage on 4.4 killers.
-
Kind of thinking you should only loose a token when you take a survivor health state.
-
As a survivor why I love this map. The ability to creat strong loops on the go.
-
Hopefully if this continues the game will start to loose players on last gen.
-
Not to mention aura wise only a few killers can truly utilize it
-
It’s one of my favorites now

His only saving strength is the stupid strength of tombstone

Is this an optimization issue? Xbox One S skill check visual won’t appear but the audio does so good luck fixing gens and healing.

I think all she needs is anti-camp measures. Most would say give her "in X range of a hooked survivor, traps cannot be placed" or something, which is possible.
Also please for the love of god rework Rusty Shackles into an entirely new add-on. It removes her in-class counterplay, that being triggering the trap and then running away, and her other counterplay where you trigger traps to disarm them.
Yeah, Hag’s Red and Purples are weird. You go from the devastation of Mint Rag and Rusty Shackles to garbage of water logged shoe, Grandma’s Heart, Severed Hand and Ear. The rest are fine but they can do a patch where Red and Purples are reworked with something to counter her hardcore camping
-
It’s quite fun to see how far the game has changed which people don’t realize often. For reference Hag use to be one of the worst killers in the game and look where she’s at now
-
Hag people forget how she went from one of the worst killers in the game. To one of the best while still having counters. Doctor was also good. Bubba was also good. And all three kept their power identity. But, let us remember who we lost RIP Freddy and Billy.

Why do the survivors I face always find and cleanse both ruin and undying in the first minute?
Must have been me I actually know the spawns quite well. Although maps occasionally toss the odd spawn.

The point is to have a killer that actually plays the game. Sorry laying down traps and scrolling your wheel and immediately attacking is not a pro-gamer move while proxying the hooked survivor.
We don’t need her turned into another Freddy

Add the ability to break traps without a flashlight. Seriously, a killer who can only use an item is not right.
Walk to the edge of the traps range and trigger it outside lunge range.

@MadLordJack said:
Hag doesn't really have any counterplay except for holding W or being able to see the future and equip a flashlight with a lot of batteries.
She really isn't "perfectly balanced", she's a camping machine that shuts down every loops she's ever touched and whose counterplay is to be in the right place at the right time when she picks someone up to run through her web, or to just forget about loops and just get some excellent cardio in for your character.
All she needs is a change to the hardcore camping of 6 traps around the hook and a loose loose situation for survivors by them vanishing after an unhook
-
@CashelP14 said:
Crouching won't help you mid-chase. Plus the fact that you might not know where the traps are placed then should I crouch walk around the whole map?
Hag is not balanced at all imo. Her traps shouldn't be only breakable by an item you either need to find or being in to the trial. This makes her too hard to counter or too easy which is a badly designed killer.
You walk to the edge of the trap range and trigger it out of lunge range.

I am confused, if you saw 2 Claudette running by it, why didn't you cleanse it? Were you already dead and just spectating or something?
I saw it and tried but was spotted and being chased. The Claudettes were by it and didn’t prioritize it. As I was moried by a Ghostface

@SkeletalElite said:
The unfun aspect of hag is that she literally does not chase survivors. Assuming she is good at playing the killer.
The only time she is every going to actually chase a survivor is if that survivor is about to run into a trap or she's guranteed to get a hit because of what the survivor has to do to avoid that trap.
If you don't have a flashlight you have to trigger her traps to harass them which can be done safely but she's just going to teleport to it and set a new one.
Once she gets a hook, even if she doesn't put a trap around the hook you can bet every pallet remotely near that hook is unusable, additionally she will then proceed to ccamp the survivor to death in the middle of her 3 gen, which is completely trapped.
Never does she make any interesting plays, she just places traps and waits essentially.
Her entire game is making sure she keeps a healthy web of traps down and she only ever interacts with a survivor if that survivor is doing one of her 3 gens or that survivor is inside her web. If a survivor is not in her web, she will just leave them.
Like there is nothing about hag that is satisfying, you bind your teleport to scroll wheel, place traps in a 3 gen and press the attack button the instant you teleport because you are constantly spamming your scroll wheel, then you place the trap back down and do it again.
There's a reason no one mains hag.
Me a console Hag: Interesting

I think traps only trigger if Survivors run near traps. Walking triggers them is a bit too much, make it impossible to escape from basement.
Plus add some action to remove her trap, 2sec animation would do.
The traps disappear after unhook is a healthy safe change that would resolve much basement issues

@gendoss said:
I just think killers are extremely inconsistent. It's lame that Hag has 10 traps on command but Trapper can only hold 1 and can't teleport. Either nerf Hag to be competitive with Trapper or buff Trapper to be competitive with Hag. At this point Hag is just a 20x better Trapper.
Buff Trapper

Fully justified and completely unbalanced salt. May as well say "Haddonfield offerring with a full party for extra salt".
That’s another reason I like her often the best survivor maps don’t bother Hag like Haddonfield or Badham.

The whole damn game is centered around chasing!
That's the biggest complaint about Nurse, is that she's not playing DBD, she's playing the Nurse game, while you're playing DBD. At least with her, there is a skill cap involved.
Hag's drawback is boring, she's slow and she requires set-up. So make her not slow and able to have strong chase but, she should still have to win a chase. That's where the whole skill of DBD comes into play, in chase. Being notified where someone is, at a trap you put there for a reason and being able to go there immediatley is pretty damn good in my book.
Oh yeah another Freddy were a killer's original unique identity is ruined. And instead we get a generic bland killer. And more emphasis on chasing when we already have enough of those killers. The only change Hag needs to her base is trap around an unhook vanish. We need more unique killers like her.

It's sounding more like an issue with you not being able to win chase...
You dont want to win chase, you just want to teleport and swing at whatever is there.
No dude if Hag can’t deal damage out of her traps it has no lethality and making her 4.6 wouldn’t be good compensation. Survivors would then leave the loop no problem. It’s a horrendous idea that we already saw didn’t work. Why Old Hag made the F tier. Why try the same thing and expect a different result? More easy killers with no uniqueness and also easy to beat?
-
@stikyard said:

I'm not understanding how being able to teleport directly into chase is weak, that is so strong. Bump up her base speed so that she can maintain chase. Not being able to swing right away shouldn't matter, you are teleporting directly into chase.
Because she couldn’t get any damage and we see already that survivors can run a standard 4.6 M1 no problem and gain mad distance by holding W against Trappers or Legions.So this would effectively kill her. Since she’d have no lethality to her power. And survivors can leave the traps no problem. This would kill Hag. And any changes to say give her standard chase would kill her her uniqueness which we’re running out of
-
@stikyard said:
Something needs to give with Hag, there are plenty of good ideas to tone her down without breaking the Killer.
Not being able to swing for a couple seconds after teleport and broken traps around unhook seem like decent ideas.
You could bump up her base speed to counter the nerf a little and, I think she could be quite fun and a little less oppresive.
Hag has the best jump scares btw.
First idea no that’s how Old Hag worked and she was one of the worst killers in the game we already saw that idea doesn’t work. Second one can work
-
Another thing it’s been shadow buffed with new maps it’s harder to find dull totems but easier to find hex totems
-
@DwightFairfield said:
"Functional" does not equal "Fun"
Most players, with a majority of survivor players, dislike hag because of her traps and her camping/tunneling potential.
The idea of a defensive killer implies defending a point, whatever that point may be, so her ability to efficiently shut down areas with little to no effort, mixed with the lack of ways to disarm her traps, added on with the ability to instantly travel to that location when a trap is triggered, plus the ability to take away movement options, makes her a regular in discussions of "this is an unhealthy killer"
Most players don't care what perks you're using when they hate the killer fundamentally.
Third Seal-Undying for the extra salt
-
Meg Heads, Corner Care Claudettes, Locker Dwights, Sabo Jakes. And there’s not enough Tapp mains. I still want it changed more lik No Way Out to be more useful against SWF and not butcher Solo Qs trapped with the people above. And you don’t need to do anything special to earn it
-
Yeah, it sucks I could get over Midwich since it was smaller and you could learn it and begin to navigate it well enough. I even like Midwich sometimes. RPD just played it’s big hard to learn and even if you do still painful to navigate
-
@Mew said:
she needs something, personally i think it’s annoying to go against or even play hag simply because her chase is nonexistent (since, she doesn’t actually chase you. and if she does, you go down fast because she’ll only chase you near traps)
removing her ability to camp would be a good start, but i think she needs other things to make her fun to play & play against (actually being able to chase survivors, and survivors actually being able to counter her web in chase)
Then that would butcher her uniqueness if we made her chase orientated which is already being used too much. All she needs is a change to her hardcore camping possibilities every trap around hooked person after an unhook will be erased that’s all she needs
-

Hag needs a proper rework. Even if we ignore the core problem with hooks. Her power is all about getting nearly guaranteed hits if a trap that can only be interacted with with flashlights goes off.
Make hag 115 percent killer and have it so that after teleporting hag cannot attack for X time (probably just 1 - 2 seconds). Hags then allow her to navigate quickly throughout the map and she turns into a standard killer in chase.
Obviously other changes would be needed, but that's where I'd start.
No, that would make her an awful killer. And ruin her core identity like Freddy
-
All she needs are changes to the place 10 traps around the hook. Where they vanish after an unhook
-
He should have some recovery base since without them he’s a pretty weak killer.
-
Do: Get out of brown and yellow ranks fast as possible
Don't: Get up to Red Ranks
Stay in Purple and Greens

By themselves Inner Strength. With a build Self-Care
-
With the nerfs that he received he became much more punishing for mistakes. And less easy which is likely a reason although mastered he’s a threat. Yes, won’t do it against the best, but that’s a very few. He can do fine at all ranks of Solo Q
-
There are many killers who can counter it.

I agree that it’s survivor sided generally, but with wall hack silent wraith, there’s not much you can do when the gens are all in houses
Then that is really up to the RNG since they’ll be tucked away in a room with no LOS. Or at the top or bottom of the stairs with no sneak up possible.
-
All the people who never ran Iron Will are blessed. Since Stridor would still end them, but with it no longer countering Iron Will. It’ll be dropped
-
Wraith could use an add-on change I wouldn’t care. But definitely change all Seeing Blood. But, not sure this was the best example with Badham one of the best survivor maps in the game. And Moris don’t deny you using DS on second hook so current moris can’t really counter DS too well.
-
While yes they do fine in Solo Q but all killers can. I’m based of the survivors are competent they don’t go down immediately but they don’t loop for 5. Then Legion is the worst survivor basics hurt them worst then any killer with no way to down survivors
-
Dear god it’s atrocious any killer with an M2 suffers from freezing to use their power. Or any M1s with a complex power like Nurse or Hag. I had to abandon my mains until the “fix” next week. At least now Ghostface has became my fourth since he’s simpler but still has bad performance
-
It’s why I dislike Myers his boring playstyle and they all run Fragrant Tuft of Hair and Judith Myers Memorial

People dont want safe though, they honestly want things to be too easy. For example speak about buffing zombies and see how many say they need nerfs and act like they're op lol
Because most mind games people talk about will work since the majority of Spirits seem casual. While yes a God Spirit will destroy you they are very rare I’ve seen more god Nurses. I don’t want Spirit to be butchered however if these changes actually happen majority of the time she’ll be a fair challenge. And maybe she’ll get her own chase music
