If the killer DCs they said you still gain your points from the Gens.Giving out the extra 25 from the vessels for free on a DC'd killer would be easily exploited.

How? Right now just seems like it's cucking players. If anyone DCs, it [BAD WORD] the other side for the event.

My best guess is that 2 friends will search for the other and the one who is killer will DC so the survivor gets points

What's the point? Wasting hours trying to find eachother, and the result can still be obtained by letting the survivors escape...
The only possible abuse would be from the killer's side to negate the +25 points to survivors.

    I suppose your Right.
but they'd have to add a +6 Point to Killer for every survivor DC too.

Yeah survivors who dc to deny the killer's point will be a thing too. Honestly they should do something more concrete about DCs (like a deserter penalty as in other games) because the ban threat is appearently not enough and events get particularly penalized by this problem.

  • I think BBQ is the perk with the highest amount of counters, does it really need one more?

This. If they want to farm they still could, but for some miserable 2k points it's really not worth it.

Might be wrong bzt wouldnt this allow survivors to get more pallets/ windows more easily in a chase?

In a certain way yes, but killers would close the distance faster (with a speed of 126.5) and would have more map pressure, so it would compensate. Pallet and windows would probably be more necessary than ever in chases and loops wouldn't be as strong as now. It would be an interesting change to test in a PTB

If the base speed gets increased, and killers gets proportionally increased ( 110/ 126.5), then the time X to "catch up" to the survivor theoretically stays the same, while both sides cover more distance. The problem thus is that survivors get easier chances to utilise pallets ( more distance covered after window or pallet)
This would be worse if it'd be increased additionally (110/125).

While map pressure might increase for everyone except nurse I still think both cases are survivor favored.

Actually no, because you must look at relative speed. Currently killers move at 0.6 m/s relative to survivors (in a straight line) while with the changed speeds they would move at 0.66 m/s (10% faster). Not much, but it would make catching up faster.

  • So you want to make impossible to place traps on the Meyers' House roofs because they can't be disarmed?

Just learn to avoid those places when playing against the Trapper, those are the spots where traps really shine a Trapper that uses them is smart and should not be punished for that.

Oh ok, thanks. It never happened to me before so I was a little confused

Lol that's normal. It's that kind of bug that makes me go "#########?!?" everytime.

Not really. When the killer immediately leaves after they lose a match (before anyone can even say GG) people just think they're mad. It's not really toxic.

If I had to guess, I'd say that Killers that leave the endgame chat quickly had experienced different chat conversations than just a fair "Good game".

Maybe a "gg as in, git gud", "Ez" or "baby killer" are more accurate in case of a 0k match but that's just my wild guess to explain such Killer behaviour.

You make it seems as all survivors are toxic. In my experience a good portion just leave a gg. That said when a killer leaves asap after playing bad I interpet it as them being mad, because otherwise there is no reason to not drop a gg before leaving.

DBD would have more action, more frenetic, more intensity

    agree?

Do you mean 110 vs 125 or 110 vs 126.5, the first would would be a killer nerf.
Also latency would become an even bigger problem

+10% extra base speed for both

Its a mathematical difference, are we talking about percentage points or about actual percentages of the percentage values? Either its 125 or 126.5 then

If the aim is just to speed up the game and affect balance it should be 126.5

  • And killlers that can't kill anyone usually leave asap or complain in chat about gen rush or swf. People hate loosing, it's no news.

  • I like your ideas but not much the Insidious one, since I feel it encourages the bland gameplay of hooking, going out of range and that come back to tunnel the injured survivor. Imo it would a better perk if after moving you get the normal TR after a while (maybe gradually?), so it would be usable outside of camping.

  • Yep grabs are bugged and half the time they result in a hit even in Treatment mode.

  • I'd say it should buff survival points too, since surviving is harder with the perk

  • You just wait... might not be what you want to do in that situation but it's for a greater good.

  • I like the idea but as others said it should not affect repair speed (like the new Leader) otherwise it would become meta in no time and "abused" to gen rush even more.

  • Wonder why lockers are full of hatchets and nobody seems to notice. But probably most of the time I would play dead.

  • I wonder if people that say rank means nothing ever ever witnessed the absolute mess that is rank reset, where low ranks get mixed with high ranks.

This, plus you get to enjoy the event.

  • That is true for every killer.

  • Why all this fuss? I doesn't seem an unreasonable request, to move crows away from gens in maps such as Lery's. SftS is a tracking perk, it shouldn't have anything to do with survivors repairing gens.

I now have to look through 91835689358 people on Steam with "Bugs Bunny" as their username.

From the Steam Overlay you can click on "view players" (under the Friends tab) and it shows the last people you played with and links to their profiles.

  • From the patch notes:

Permanent heavy bleeding when the Wraith performs a Surprised attach with Sloppy Butcher AND the "Blind Warrior" - White add-on. Perk and add-on were fixed individually.

Unless someone uses the perk+addon for some reason (they don't stack, so there is none) the bug is fixed in the next patch.
It wasn't hard to do a bit of research you know?

  • In most matches there's that guy that doesn't use cover and allows Myers to stalk him for free. If there was no limit to that it would be a #########-fest for all the others, who would be punished hard only for being in the same team with that guy.

That is true, but at the same time that map has very few windows (I can think not more than 4), the second floor has little to no cover and overall the paths are very predictable: this, together with the fact that the floor is smooth and clean makes loosing a killer is very hard. I don't like all those pallets, but currently if it wasn't for them the map would be a death trap for survivors.
In conclusion, The Game needs a complete rework if we want a decrease in pallet numbers.

That is what I proposed, yet people seem to not read that part.

Yeah I just wanted to mention windows and pathing ^_^

It's a fun and balanced killer, but I wish hitboxes were better since too many times hitting a survivor or a wall seems rng (maybe with dedicated servers it could be possible? Who knows) and the Iridescent Head reworked (it's the most unfun and unbalanced addon imo)

You probably weren't around back when the Iridescent Heads only removed two instead of four. Seriously in terms of balance it is much better then before. I still shudder thinking about the many times I would have died if the hatchets touched me back then. Other then that, I agree with everything else you said.

I am not a Huntress player myself but I can hit the occasional hatchet toss.

I was there. My thoughts on the addon still remain

"OMG Billy is like the 2nd best killer in the game!!!!"
"LOL Bubba is so bad he's like the worst killer in the game, maybe Freddy is a bit worse than him XDDDDDDDD"

Bubba and Billy are literally the same except Bubba is missing Billy's map pressure and Billy can't camp as effectively, otherwise they're the exact same. Both can be looped and in that regard are "bad". If you don't want to get looped play Nurse.
If you want to play Bubba he's no worse than 80% of killers. If you think he's bad, it's just you being trash at the game.

Now that you called me trash for no reason I'm very interested in listening to your opinion.

  • So you purposefully play scummy (your words) and complain that people don't want to play with you?
Besides the fact that imo Iridescent Heads is a badly designed addon, hatchet hitboxes are so broken that the only counter (dodging) doesn't work most of the times. Playing against that is definetly not fun, and fun (surprise surprise) I what people want when playing videogames.
When I see things such as the op post I wonder if you guys even know the meaning of empathy.

Thats what I have been saying ever since the rework. Calm Spirit is utterly useless against Clown, its only strong against Doctor. Extremely situational perk, since its only current use is against a less popular Killer. Considering Spies from the Shadows is getting buffed (still a meh perk, but whatever), it makes sense to keep that counter.

Actually, the Doctor giggles when shocking a survivor even if he has Calm Spirit. Can't remember if you get the points pop up, but still you can know when you shock them.

  • I like the idea, but applying it to medkits in general is a bad idea since it would create some predictable and one-way situations.
I think it would be nice as a rework for the Anti-Hemorrhagic Syringe for a couple reasons: first it's ultra rare, so Unbreakable wouldn't loose much value; second, the current AHS benefits exclusively SWF since it needs good coordination to not get wasted, this way instead it could be a valuable tool for solo survivors.

  • Imo people freak out so much about DS because it happens when you normally would feel satisfied and relaxed for winning the chase, but instead your flow gets broken by that perk.
Personally I feel as Sprint Burst is stronger and more annoying. I had matches where 3-4 survivors had SB and I wasted way more time catching up. Particularly frustrating when I managed to catch them off guard but still they could slip away.

tf the pig just got buffed, and don't you even dare say that an extra 4 metres terror radius is a nerf it isn't gonna effect anything.

They killed whispers on her.Now you can't use it on pig

"Can't use it" is a bit exaggerated. Those 4 meters where nice sure, but with how slow the tr faded away survivors could still hear it. Now the fade off is faster, so I doubt it would change much.

  • The only counter against Legion is rush the gens as fast as you can, because if the killer knows what he's doing he will end every chase in 30 seconds or less with no chances for survivors to counter him.

I agree, he doesn't need much skill to be used and he's basically Leatherface on steroids, but he's balanced by the fact that he is loopable just as any other killer.
Funnily enough, I find his chainsaw way more menacing at close range than LF's because it has a big hitbox, it's fast and while revving it he doesn't loose ground, not counting that bumping into objects is not so punishing. Against Bubba you just need to hug a tree or a rock and he's done for, with HB if he's right behind you you're dead unless he [BAD WORD] up.

I would say you have those killers mixed up. I would rather 360 a HB than a LF because LF doesn't go charge of. It depends on the killer, survivor and where the two are at close range. Could be opinion I suppose.

With LF you just need to hug an obstacle and run in a circle, he will inevitably get the stun or if he's smart he'll give up and use m1. If the Hillbilly is exierienced that and 360s won't work.

  • The over-altruistic boi. The toxic one is probably prepared and is gonna make me waste tons of time, the other one is just greedy for points and chances are he's gonna waste pallets and go down easily.

  • Depends on the situation, but if the match is going to end with only one kill I have no problem sacrificing myself if I think the survivor deserves it.

  • Personally I would say screw the meta... Alert is a fun perk and it's very useful if used with a certain playstyle

  • @Vietfox said:
I would say his chainsaw is heavier than the hammer, so no, not balanced at all.

I see what you did you here...

I have not seen Dagon or played any Lovecraft based games. But I'm very suspicious of any of these. I watched Hybridpanda's videos about a recent Cthulhu themed game ("Call of Cthulhu, the Offifcial Video Game" I believe), and it's just unnecessarily gory. Not a mark of true horror in my opinion.

I played Call of Cthulhu: Dark corners of the Earth, and it's actually very nice in the first half/ 2/3rd of the game, it reflects a lot the books it's based off. Towards the end it becomes a bit too much action though.

  • @Ray_Penber said:
However, since the devs cater to survivors, they get to keep their very rare and ultra rare equipment and add ons so as to counter these already OP killers.

Oh you mean flashlight addons that mostly do nothing to the killer (except a longer blind) and Brand New Part which was nerfed twice to the point of not being worth of being an ultra rare? Yeah devs cater so much to survivors in reguard to items and addons...

    @George_Soros said:
Sarcasm is more effective when it's actually funny. This is just meh.

  • Prayer Beads imo is not that big of a deal. I faced it some times but if you have some awareness you can guess when she is coming for you.
Multi blinks should go though. They are busted and counter the only counter to a Nurse in a chase (mindgames).

  • Even if it's just a chance, being able to avoid the power of a killer is too strong, and from the killer perspective it would be terrible.
Imo Small Game is fine, it's a good perk to learn totem spawns and avoid traps, I only wish it didn't work for stuff several meters up unless you look up because currently in The Game and Haddonfield it's very confusing.
Slippery Meat is outdated for sure though. I think it would be nice if it made the survivor un-grabbable during actions (so not when standing inside a locker, but while vaulting, repairing or entering/leaving the locker)

    @Aari_Piggy66 said:
Small games in it's current state is not a bad perk it's something that you could very easily just buff the benefits for example increasing the range and showing an aura.

Before the Hag DLC it used to show the aura of traps, but they changed it so it unlikely the aura reading will return.

  • Yes. It might be more annoying having so many notifications but rank 1 gives more info.

  • @DarkWo1f997 said:
remove scratch marks for survivors suffering from deep wounds, this way, the survivor only has to worry about the noise they emit, and line of sight, also meaning the legion can’t follow them backwards.

There would still be the bloodtrail, doubt it would change much.

  • Have you ever hit a survivor just for him to run into a trap while you're still there stuck in the cooldown animation? STBFL allows, with a good amount of tokens, to teleport asap and end the chase in the blink of an eye. Situational, sure, but it works.
