  • Yup, if we are talking about perks Meg is the best choice.
The coolest one is Feng Min though. (but her perks are kinda bad)

I agree with that of swf. I say before: we need the option of choise if we want play in lobbys with swf, or not. Its not fair for the killer play with that disadvantage.

If they can choise play in group, why we cannot choise play in "solo lobbies". Thats the point.

no one would ever play against swf.  i certainly wouldn't.

I would, and i know some people that would as well.
That being said, letting people choose who to face is indeed a bad idea.

Someone has been stunned many times i see...

No, I rarely get stunned by pallets or flashlights.

I don't take pallet routes when carrying a Survivor on my shoulder unless I'm 100% sure its safe, I usually look at walls when Picking Up a survivor to negate flashlights,  and I usually slug D-strike users.

I see lots of people saying D-strike needs changed, and I agree, It rewards survivors for playing poorly, and punishes killers for playing well.

I thought hypothetically adding this element to Iron grasp could Help alleviate the problem, because it fits with the perk; making escape from killer grasp NEARLY impossible.

But affecting every other kind of stun is just too much, they have to time them, especially the pallet one.
About DS, once they use it they are stuck with 3 perks for the rest of the match (one of the reasons why i don't usually run DS), so i don't think it's a big deal.

    I like it.

However I'd offer one change to it.

During blinds, stuns, or DS while the Killer doesn't drop the survivor he should be halted for 1-2 seconds, basically the duration of whatever effect would have made him drop the survivor. Maybe have an animation of the killer tightening his grip during that moment.

Still allows the survivor to wiggle.

That would make pallet stun or flashlight saves almost/completely useless, so it's fine the way it is right now. Survivors have to time correctly those saves, and killer can either face a wall or make sure survivors aren't close by.
Edit: Also they could pair it with Enduring to make it even worse.

Problem with Borrowed Time is that you're depending upon the Killer to camp and tunnel in order for it to be effective whereas if a killer is really camping and tunneling you should do gens, not unhooking in his face.

When the gates are open you gotta unhook in his face most of the times. Also sometimes you are unhooking someone and killer decides to come back, BT becomes useful in that situation.

Now people are complaining that I called Adred and Balanced Landing OP lol.

I don't know why, survivors DC a lot when it's active.

For real? I've never seen a survivor DCing because of TotH.
I think TotH is a blessing when playing as a survivor, it summons the killer in a matter of seconds while the other ones can repair gens peacefully.

Agreed. Some times it works out in my favor as a Killer, as I can jump them as the Spirit since I KNOW someone is going to be cleansing my Ruin totem that was placed in the stupidest place, but most often the Survivors spawn next to it across the map so RIP Ruin.

Hell, this would make Small Game a more worthwhile perk, for some playstyles, if totems weren't so easy to find/didn't spawn next to Survivors and Gens.

People would still know spawn places, if they play long enough. So Small Game would still be pretty useless

Yes, it's easy to guess where the totems are, but i still run Small Game because saves me a lot of time. The more time i spend in a match the more chances i got to get killed.

It's also useful against the Trapper and Hag.

But how many Hags and Trappers do you face? Because I don't run into them very much ;p

Well, on ps4 there aren't many nurses, so it's not that hard to see them. I just said that because it's nice that Small Game works for something else than totems.

    @The_Crusader
DS is a game feature, thus DS is not an exploit.
Moonwalking as legion is an exploit because was never intended and there are no counters for it.

so since you claiming moonwalking is an exploit because it was unintended then you also admit pallet looping, gentapping and dribbling are exploits since they also are not intended?

I mean the literal counter to moonwalking is simply not running in a straight line...the killer is not even looking at you so how can you not lose them?

I wouldn't call pallet looping an exploit, neither dibbling since gives more chances to survivors to perform flashlights saves.
Yeah, i think gentapping is an exploit.

Killer just needs to follow the bloodtrail while moonwalking, doesn't even need scratchmarks.

Then explain how do the devs will fix a killer stopping chase?

If they put it on his TR then survivors can abuse his TR or legion can just use insidious, the worst part about this issue is there really is no fixing it unless the devs do exactly what they already said they would, which is make it legion won't have to moonwalk for downs, which simply means, more buffs to legion.

I'm not here to tell anyone how to fix it, we are here talking about exploits. If you want to know how they will fix it go ask the devs, not me.
Devs have said already that it wasn't intended and if it becomes something common they'll be forced to fix it, meaning that moonwalking as Legion IS an exploit that devs don't want around.

they never said they would be forced to fix it, they said they would have to make changes so he does'nt have to do that, once again how are the devs going to somehow fix a killer stopping chase? They ca'nt, should be simple knowledge at this point that they ca'nt fix this kind of issue and also gonna state again, if your stating moonwalking is an exploit cuz it is unintended then you must also admit pallet looping, gentapping and dribbling are exploits as well cuz they too are unintended.

"they never said they would be forced to fix it, they said they would have to make changes" Dude, both things are the same with different words.
"once again how are the devs going to somehow fix a killer stopping chase?" I already answered to this.
"if your stating moonwalking is an exploit cuz it is unintended" I said "unintended and with no counters", moonwalking has no counters, dribbling does because survivors can be saved by flashlights or simply not get downed close to a hook, that's why i said i wouldn't call dribbling an exploit. But i already said that, didn't I?

Now please, stop looping yourself. I wouldn't like to repeat myself, again. Thanks.

Moonwalking as legion is an exploit because was never intended and there are no counters for it.

I'm pretty sure the whole game wasn't intended to be based around loops, but it is, survivors do it a lot, and for some killers there's very little counterplay other than to get looped.

Oh well .Maybe moonwalking can become the design norm for killers going forward.

Plus there are things like bodyblocking etc I like when survivors create something irs fine but when killers do it there are non-stop tears about it.

That doesn't justify the use of an exploit.
Bodyblocking survivors at the stairs to secure the kill is fine no mather how many survivors cry about it, that's why devs didn't change it and it's still possible.
Infinite loops weren't intended and that's why they fixed them.
    Can you see it now?

if its okay for pig, i dont think it should be considered an "exploid" for legion.

like, legion is weak enough, plus it takes him ages to get someone that way, so id think its fine...

Doesn't matter how weak or strong is a killer, exploits are exploits, and they shouldn't be allowed depending on their needs. If something needs to be buffed it will be done in a proper way, not by allowing the use of exploits.
And yes, i think something should be done with the pig as well.

    Balanced landing creates new loops.
Lithe is the worst exhaustion perk by far. Why? Because as a survivor u want to loop the killer 3-4 times and then go to another loop. Lithe kinda forces you to go somewhere else after vaulting.

That's what makes it decent. It's not the worst though, it's JOINT worst with Dead hard. The only reason people think Dead hard is good is because it saves you from messing up but tbh against a competent killer it's worthless, Sprint Burst and Balanced Landing have no counterplay though. It goes like this:
    1. Balanced landing
    2. Sprint Burst
    3. Dead hard/Lithe.

Yeah i don't like Dead Hard either, i think i've used it only once or twice. Doesn't suit my playstyle at all.

Just tried out the new locker perk of Legion for my huntress to speedup the reload. Honestly tho, this speed should be baseline of huntress.

Huntress has already slow movement speed and lacks of keeping pressure high on large maps. Speeding up the reload would save so many seconds if u think about how often u reload. Also, imagine getting out of hatches during a chase. Not only u have to walk sometimes really far away to reload, but also it takes long. By that time any survivor with a few braincells is long time gone.

Don't get me wrong, huntress is a strong killer, high tier Imo. But we all know how easy it is to genrush a huntress, especially on huge maps. The speedup reload should be a baseline to compensate her slow movement speed

Honestly, a perk shouldn't see use by a single killer because it boosts their power. I'd remove the effect that Iron Maiden has on the Huntress and then increase the Huntress' base reload speed if it's deemed too slow. The developers plan, (at least I think they do) to remove the NC effect on the doctor's power so they can add the part that makes NC good on the doctor as baseline (seeing survivors snapping out of it). This frees a perk for the doctor while getting the benefit of good part of the perk. Here's a quote from @Janick that explains things better than I can.

Janick said: This will allow us to tweak the base power of a killer much better, without fear of breaking his build when a players use a certain perk. The feeling of necessity to have specific perks on a character to make him viable is not something that we think is good for the overall balance, which is the reason why we are doing those changes.

    Thank you!

Yeah, because the huntress is not viable enouh lol.

Were they talking especifically about the huntress or killers in general?

They were talking about killer's in general. For example, they can buff the trapper's trap's base repair time and rework Hangman's Trick for something else. This can free a perk for the trapper when you see a sabo Jake squad.
My Huntress example above with Iron Maiden
    Janick's Doctor example with NC

Ok, that's what i thought. It was hard to believe they were talking about the huntress.

Same way you claimed i know nothing about the huntress.

"doubt" seems like not be in ur vocabulary

It was a way of speaking and you know it, you didn't actually doubted it.

Then keep using Iron Maiden, she's good enough already.

Iron maiden using instead for what? Huntress is a super slow killer, she needs perks to locate survivors asap. Otherwise it's gg unless the survivors are dumb af. Nurses calling, BBQ, ruin and whispers is absolutely necessary for huntress if u want to win against good survivors.

You can change Whispers for Iron Maiden, but if that build is "absolutely necessary" for you then keep using that build. We are not suposed to have everything we want.
