    You're joking right, you say they're being toxic for wanting to have fun and all but basically giving you free hits and farm?

    Sometimes killers want to make everything toxic, gen rush toxic, pallet slammed toxic, survivor unhooked toxic, totem cleansed toxic etc etc.

    Oh i understood "around the hook" like "hookswarming".
    Yeah nothing wrong with survivors messing around, i find it funny and most likely i'll join them. Seriously, the word "toxic" is overused in this forum.

  • Nope, i do well enough with 4 perks slots.

  • Best thing you can do is to run Kindred and pray for having good teammates.

    @SenzuDuck Yes, looping is not directly related with SwF but when your friends all plays insta-heals, bodyblock the killers to allow him to recover without insta-heals with adrenaline at end-game you know how cancer it is for Low-Mid tier killer. DS to extent chase that's where the issues persist when you have gens that' can't handle the shock without ruin. He shows how much the gens is made with plastics and easily destroyed.

    Like i said if without ruins the gens can't survive the game remains unbalanced against SwF.

    This is a good point. SWF always bring their most broken toys. The syringes, BNP etc.

    As killer you have no way to know or prepare and it can really screw you. Solo players are much less likely to bring these, especially X 4.

    So what, killers can also bring broken addons and/or ebony moris and there's no way to know or prepare either and it can really screw survivors.

    Don't know about thay, burn a black ward or mori and watch as the survivors drop out on the loading screen ๐Ÿคฃ

    Hag main here.

    No, she is in a really good spot and doesn't need a buff at all. She might have just a few good addons, but she doesn't need them to do well tbh.

    The hag is a good killer, but not fun to play against or to play as.

    You constantly have to break chases and is especially good in defending hooks.

    But her potential of downing is fairly low.

    @mcNuggets

    ย Well, it's fun for me to play as her.

    * The only reason why i break chases is because survivors are working on a gen that i don't want to be finished.
    * Well, i always run MYC with her so if they unhook someone i go for the rescuer. It's easy to catch them because usually either they trigger the traps or they crouch and can't go very far. Flashlights are a great counter, but you can always bring FD.
    * Her potential of downing survivors is certainly not low. Loops are inexistent when the area is trapped already and one of my favourite mind games is when you put a trap on one side of the pallet, they trigger it and quickly go to the other side of the pallet and drop it expecting you to teleport, but you won't teleport >:)

    Her potential of downing survivors is especially low, because of her speed.

    I mained her a while back and I disliked the style she had to be played in order to get a 3k-4k on rank 1 against viable survivors.

    You have to place traps and if a map has for example 20-25 loop spots, you can trap 10, but not another.

    So there is a 50% chance when someone goes to a loop, they trigger a trap.

    If you place down all of your traps, atleast 2 gens could pop in that time.

    You need 3 traps for a good survivor to go down. (Because of second chance perks)

    If you manage to catch them off guard, on a loop etc., they ain't decent survivors or they allowed you to hit them, because they made a mistake.

    I played a lot of devastating rounds with her, but I dislike the playstyle of her very much, because a lot of "camping" is involved and you can't let yourself get into long chases, which is the most fun of the game for me.

    viable survivors:

    She has potential, but only if she downs a survivor within the first 2 minutes, otherwise 3 gens will pop and even if she manages to get a down, the other two pop immediatly after that.

    @mcNuggets
    You can say you dislike her playstyle, but not that her potential of downing survivors is low.
    She's slow for a very good reason, and no, the Hag doesn't involve "camping". Whoever needs to camp with the Hag doesn't know how to use her.

    I dont know if you played against a good team in your whole dbd playthrough, but a good team can dominate her well.
    In order for her traps to even function, she needs to PLACE them down, which needs time, allowing 3 generators do be done, because no survivor is chased this time.
    Efficient survivors will just end the round with 1 kill for her, if she camps.

    The hag is a good killer, but shes not top tier.
    I can get my swf right now and we can have a friendly competitive match and I promise you, you won't get a kill at all.

  • If you can't handle SWF go play another game.
  • 1 - i ready up (i'd probably be drunk as well)
    2 - i kill them
  • Does it matter if theres no counter play? Theres none to DS and no dribbling doesn't count because its very situational and survivors will often run to areas with no hooks to trigger it.

    I'm tired of these double standards on the survivor side.
    @The_Crusader
    DS is a game feature, thus DS is not an exploit.
    Moonwalking as legion is an exploit because was never intended and there are no counters for it.
  • For LF use carburettor tuning guide or the grease + the beast's marks.
    Ruin, PGTW, BBQ and PWYF/NOED.
    I kinda find stupid running noed on one shot killers, but that extra speed you get is awesome when using the chainsaw.
    As the others said, loops are a nightmare for leatherface when not using speed addons. Good survivors won't drop the pallet because they will expect you to charge the chainsaw, so just M1 on them instead, works like a charm.

  • I try to avoid NOT staying at rank 1. I know it's stupid and doesn't mean anything but i like to get back to 1 every month and stay there.
    Plus the fact that i like to deal with rank 1 survivors/killers.
  • Take my awesome and let's never talk about it.
  • What about some kind of WGLF for totems?
    This would encourage survivors to get rid of them, counter the genrush and get the extra bps survivors have been asking for.
    The totem perk should give some kind of good incentive if you want survivors to run it. Most of them ignore Small Game already, and i think it's a great perk (although i would love it even more if it gave me different notifications for traps and totems).
    About your ideas the 2nd one could be good if the cleansing speed was twice faster.

      If the killer nevre commits to a chase, you simply tap the gen.

    Sure it takes a lot more time than usual, but its far from unbeatable..... dont forget that its 1vs4 and the killer has to manage 4 survivors at 3 gens

    You're assuming it's a 1 v4 and not a 1v3 or 1v 2 or even a 1v1 if the gens are just far enough apart. Prior to Spirit coming out me and 2 other solos faced a really good 3 gen strat Doc on Backwater Swamp. It took us over half an hour to finally beat him.

    If it's the right killer and the right gen placement it's nigh impossible to beat.

    If survivors actually died before the 3genstrat took place, then the killer commited to the chase/hook and gaev up on the gen strat. If the survivors then do the wrong gens, then its completely their fault

    @Master
    You can commit to the chase and not give up on the 3 gen strat, i've done it lots of times.
    Does it work every time? No, but it's quite possible to do both things. In my experience most of the times 1 or 2 survivors are dead already when there are 3 gens left in the map.

    Well then its the survivors fault for maneuvering themselves in this situation.
    Which gen you do is the ONLY tactical decision you need to make as surivor, but sometimes they dont even think about that.

    What i meant is that i can chase and still kinda control what gens i don't want to be done. You don't necessarily need to give up on the 3 gen strat because of a chase.
  • Maby for you guys. I only get bad frames when playing killers that already had bad frames, doc, nurse, wraith. What's weird is that I rarly get frame drops when getting bloodlust now compared to post patch, good thing btw.
    This
    Sure, it happens as a survivor as well sometimes, but it's not as bad as when playing killer.

    Killers camp totems because they're their only chance at having a good game. Because after Hex Ruin is gone, the gen rush is on.

    @jackmadrox
    You clearly don't know how to play as a killer then. Hexes are not meant to stay during the whole match, they are meant to slow down the game.
    If i can get 1 or 2 hooks before they get rid of the (let's say) ruin i'll be more than happy, if not, i'll just deal with it. And yes, i agree that devs should fix the totems placement.
    You know what will happen if you camp totems? I'll repair gens while you camp them and it will be as useless for you as losing the totem right away.

    Once they fix it it's your choice to camp DH or not.
    You camp it? Probably you won't get a single hook, thus you won't be able to use it

    Right, but the totem is absolutely worthless if it's wiped away in the first 10 seconds of a match.

    Already said that devs should fix the totem placement. And not only that, survivors shouldn't get any kind of notification at the very beginning of the match.
    If you really don't like to rely on hex totems then change your build till they fix them.

    2 things are needed in order to loop a killer for 5 gens:

    A good survivor

    A brainless potato killer

    or lucky map RNG

    Lucky Map RNG doesn't stop you from dropping the chase and looking for someone else/Gens to interrupt.

    vs competent survivors on some haddonfield variations you can't win if they keep running to certain loops

    I disagree. And even if they do all win that means they were way better than me, thus they deserve to escape. Nothing wrong with that.

    I've honestly never seen a community so afraid to lose like the DbD community.

    on certain variations of some maps you cannot win if certain loop tiles spawn, unless the survivors don't know what they're doing

    As far as i know all maps are currently viable for both killers and survivors. Sure, maybe some maps are killer/survivor "sided", but far from being impossible for the other side.
    Luck, like it or not, affects the results, just like in real life, just deal with it.
    For instance: when doors spawn on the same side of the wall or right on each side of the map.

    3 Tier 3 Claudettes spawn.
    2 Murky Reagents.
    Backwater Swamp.

    Huntress + Iridescent head

    Create a build around your main weaknesses and use your skills to deal with the rest. No one is suposed to counter everything with perks.

    Yeah, i was once playing with @lyric and killer DCed for the same reason. He was protecting the totems at all costs and we decided that 2 of us should do the totems and distract the killer while the other 2 kept doing gens. As soon as we removed them killer DCed.
    Honestly, some people need to understand that their main priority as a killer is to kill people and prevent them from doing gens, not camping totems. ๐Ÿ˜•

    Me and @chemical_reject had a match against the Trapper and he spent the entire match protecting Ruin on the Haddonfield map. #GOODTIMES

    @fcc2014
    I can guess how that match went for the killer ๐Ÿ˜‚
  • Even if that has true the killer perk and bloodlust are way to week and the counder of them are too strong make so a single survivor keep a killer for up to 5 gens.

    I think they are too month, maybe even a year.

    @powerbats every kill has a drawback. If the killer camp the last 3 gens you only have to go fix them and when you hear the heartbeat you run away if the killer follows you he\she will lose the game and maybe you will survey. If you don\t know wher the hatch is just follow the heartbeat and you will find it if the killer camp it just fix the gen/s it's so eazy and work if you have QI 90+

    Well M&A works wonders for that, Insidious and M&A is evil and as far as following the heartbeat sneaky killers play mind games with that. The'll go someplace where they can be close to the hatch but to get to it the survivor has to go past them.

    For instance they'll camp a hill and stay on top of it looking around then jump off do a mini patrol and circle right back to it. So the survivor hears the heartbeat and thinks the killer is guarding the hatch and it's not actually there.

    ok so you are rank 13 at best

    You gotta love this kind of people @powerbats ๐Ÿ˜‚

  • Balanced landing creates new loops.
    Lithe is the worst exhaustion perk by far. Why? Because as a survivor u want to loop the killer 3-4 times and then go to another loop. Lithe kinda forces you to go somewhere else after vaulting.
