    Hag is one of the many killers that does exceptionally well without perks, even without addons she's still really good.

    Her addons are meh. Her most decent addons (according to my playstyle) are green addons . Range and teleport distance addons. But i kinda get it because she's good enough without perks nor addons.

    Range distance addons are my favorite on her. I used to always run those necklace addons but ever since her trap setting speed got buffed I haven't seen myself using them much. Hag is a top tier killer in my eyes though, right up there with Nurse and Billy, maybe Spirit to an extent too

    I know this forum is filled with people who claim that the only viable killers at rank 1 are billy and nurse, but imo hag is as good as them. Believe me, i main her for a reason.

    Yeah, Hag is great. I don't play her often tho, I'm always playing either Freddy, Spirit and now Legion. Sometimes I'll play the others though. I haven't played Amanda in a while though. Ever since I p3'd her I stopped feeding her bloodpoints and playing her a lot. I was a Pig main for a while too before returning to Freddy

    Yeah i'll start to main the pig next month after getting bamboozle tier 3

    I'll do something better than running in a straight line! I just won't move at all! :)

    So if someone 1000x stronger than you was chasing you in real life you'd run at them? A swing/stab should hit when you run into a killer's hitbox. It's abuse of mechanics. @purebalance
    Do i really need to tell u the difference between games and real life?
    If you wanna be that realistic then tell me why survivors can't jump over traps.
    U get rekt by 360s and instead of getting better at this game you rather complain about them and call them trash tactics.

    Replace "360s" with "camping," and we can ride this irony train straight to Emerald Ranch!

    Hence the only time I camp is when people 360. I expect killers to camp when someone uses it.

    In case anyone is having trouble understanding the irony:

    The advice being given to @purebalance by @Vietfox regarding 360s can apply, verbatim, to any "heated" mechanic, including the one that they themselves are complaining about in this very topic.

    I don't condone either. You want to abuse mechanics, then so will I. There is no irony there. The irony would be if Vietfox was also complaining about camping which I didn't see. If it was complaining about camping, then yes irony in that git gud can apply from its mouth, but not when it got downed and camped.

    @purebalance
    Wrong, i never complained about camping, i said it's not comparable to 360s

    Yes they are literally an abuse of broken mechanics. There is no "get better" on console without getting a mouse. So fine I'll keep camping them and tell them to get better. It's the only time I camp. Get better.

    Also I guess since we're talking about video games and not real life, killers should get to fly no matter what killer you have. Oh wait a lot of the things in this game are based on plausible real life things like STABBING SOMEONE. Now if we were talking about the Nurse's ability you'd have a point. However, running and stabbing work very much like real life in this game. So your little stab back was worthless because you seem to not be able to see how the game functions.

    I've played both on console and pc. On console you just need to strife instead of using the camera, not a big deal. You should know that already.

    Exactly my sentiment. No one needs an excuse to play the way they want.

    When the "way they want" is detrimental to everyone involved, even themselves, yes you need an excuse. Camping hurts both sides. Nobody wants 10k point games where you barely single pip.

    I've seen enough gen rushers leave with barely 10k points.

    So this counts for both sides.
    @Tsulan
    There's a difference.
    As a killer it's your job to check gens and don't let survivors do all of them so you can kill them all.
    As a survivor your job is to finish the gens and escape, meaning that it's not their main priority to run towards the killer and get some Bold bps.
    If survivors "genrush" it's because killer is giving them the chance to do it.
    Not every killer the map pressure of Billy and nurse.
    @Tsulan
    That's why you got perks like PGTW, it works so damn well on killers with less map pressure.

    Why bloodpoints?

    It's your choice to prestige or not. I did it with my main because i like Feng Min. But the others are level 50 without prestiging because i don't care about bragging, plus the extra rewards are hardly noticeable.

    I prestige, because you get more good addons with killers.
    You will get more very rare/ultra rare addons with prestige 3.

    As i said, it's hardly noticeable.

  • No, i use PGTW on my LF (among other killers with less map pressure) and it's strong enough already.
  • Just the average salt from survivors who only care about bps and farm their teammates.

  • Few times i've had to deal with BT since i never camp.
    If they hookswarm then i kill the prick rescuer and let go the one who was at the hook, simple.
  • Me killer, me kill survivor. Me no think, me swing.
    That made me laugh so hard lol.
  • Because if they changed it killer would just wait and stare at you waiting for the unhook. This way the match takes less time, which is good for everyone.
  • The most important question is: can u remove speed limiter from mystey boxes?
    I got like 12 with LF ffs
  • Leave it the way it is. I dont get why people get so frustrated just because the couldn't kill the 4th survivor.
    Neither understand why it's so difficult for people who complain about the hatch to slug.
  • @douggie123 said:
    If I see the new survivor I generally assume they have breakdown so I camp so I get some benefit out of it other than them getting unhooked and me just losing a hook

    Camping because of a Jeff? lmfao.

    Yea dude, there isn't like 20 other hooks you could put him on or anything, better make sure he dies so that hook is gone forever instead of 3 minutes, the excuses you guys come out with are honestly ridiciulous.

    Or he could just run hangman's trick. But it's way easier for them to make up new excuses.

    They're both heavily disputed ways of achieving success, so yes, they can be compared.

    Does getting camped suck? Yes.
    Will this prevent people from finding success in doing so? No.

    Does wrecking a team and having someone jump in the hatch or try to force a standoff suck? Yes.
    Will this prevent people from finding success in doing so? No.

    You can think or feel whatever you want about these mechanics, but all signs point to them NEVER going anywhere, at least for the foreseeable future.
    - Hatch situation: killer got 3K (totally a win)
    If killer wants to get 4K just needs to slug.
    - Camp situation: survivor dies (not a win)
    Any decent killer can catch a good survivor (sooner or later), hook them and camp them. That survivor has little/zero chances of surviving.

    No, they are not comparable.

    Haha, you're not entitled to that 4th kill. Work for it and get good.

    "I'm camping"
    Omg, it's ruining my game and I deserve to be saved.

    In both scenarios, the only thing you're actually entitled to is spawning into the map at the start of the trial.
    @Raccoon
    Does the hatch ruin the game as much as being camped?
    I mean, i don't think you can compare them.

    Like how Monitor & Abuse is terrible on Doctor if you're going for the standard Static Field build.

    @Boss
    That's right.
    Also, Doctor is one of the few killers i run without Ruin. I just wish survivors didnt get any notification from my Huntress Lullaby. At least not since the very beginning.

    Nothing worth my shards I guess. Welp, time to just spend them either way for some bps for Legion. Also wasnt Sole Survivor JUST in the shrine a while ago and calm spirit is literally on there every few weeks
    @PhantomMask20763
    Yes, i got it from the shrine recently. :(
  • As everyone said i would love to see my own stats.
    PS: and also to know who is the one with most unsafe unhooks >:)
  • Killers
    1- Hag
    2- Leatherface
    3- Pig

    Survivors
    1- Feng

    Aw, so this is the new excuse.

    You are aware that the mechanics of BBQ, right?

    If you don't see an aura, there is supposed to be a survivor near.
    With distortion, and lockers blocking BBQ, killers will likely get false results.

    Kinda unfair to blame the killer for that.
    Especially if someone other than Jeff is running Distortion.

    Oh yeah, my bad, I forgot    camping is a legit strategy

    If running around in circles is a legit strategy then yall have no room to criticize camping.

    I abhor 360, but if you are talking about looping that's on you. 360=garbage strat abusing mechanics looping is using mind games and perks to escape.

    @purebalance
    Lmao 360 = garbage? Learn to aim/counter it
  • I'm currently playing solo and i find a lobby in less than 20 seconds.
    With friends might take a bit more maybe.
    Edit: ps4 as well (EU)
  • I personally don't like it. I wouldn't use it even if lockers couldn't hide the aura. There are perks that suit my playstyle way better.
  • Worked fine for me today but when i switched to killer my fps dropped like hell while in the match.
  • I just faced a Legion like an hour ago who said the same after the match. I stunned him with a pallet and went afk right after that for a minute or so. I guess he was recording it.
  • 3rd option: uninstall the game and go play something else if you don't like it.
  • Nope, 4 perks are enough for both sides

    Maybe once i get a new pc. Editing videos with sharefactory is a pain and so limited. I miss my Vegas Pro.

    IF you are so good that you never face those missmatching odds, that we "lesser player" feel against us, I seriously wanna see how you do that.

    @Wolf74
    Gens being done in less than 4 minutes? Never, maybe when i started to play as a killer in 2016, but not that i remember.
    There are many ways to do well in this game, but my rules are simple:

    • Get rid of the DS asap (if they use it at the beginning they will run with 3 perks for the rest of the match)
    • Break the pallets asap (unless it's a short loop where i can mindgame easily)
    • To know who i gotta chase and who to avoid.
      There are more, but i like to point these ones especially because it seems that many killers panic against DS users or refuse to break the pallets, meaning that they end up getting looped for X gens or worse, those pallets are still there at the end of the match.
      Do i win all the time? Of course not, but i get really nice results thanks to the way i play.

    Get rid of DS? You mean you eat the free escape and simply waste time? Sounds like a solid plan
    Break pallets? Yeah just a shame that there are so many
    Who to chase? You mean focusing the pleb survivor that doesnt know how to loop? Yeah well and what if all survivors have a brain and have played before? :smile:

    @Master
    Yeah i totally eat it if i have to. Most killers lose more time by trying to avoid it instead of just dealing with it.
    The number of pallets is fine. They have reduced the number and now they are more spreaded (remember the old preschool?)
    They all might be good but there's always someone who is worse than the others. And if there's the case where all of them are god tier survivors then just deal with it!
    Seriously, accept the defeat. Do you really expect to win all the time?

    All spread out. 3 work while 1 is chased. 3 gens can get done in 80 secs max.

    So there are 2 gens left and even if the killer manages to keep 2 survivor busy, the other gens can get done in another 80 seconds.

    That's just 160 seconds for ALL gens to get done.

    so we are well under 3 minute games and maybe 2 or 3 hooks for the killer while the survivor only have the gates left to do.

    So good survivor can finish the match in 4 minutes.

    That's insane.

    @Wolf74 @Master

    Don't forget that killer has to be blind and deaf to allow survivors to finish all gens in so little time.

    Maybe you ain't as good as you think. :p

    If the killer switches targets to "pressure the map" and chase survivor away from their gen.

    The other survivor, the one that just escaped the chase, can resume that gen immediately (maybe he has to spend some time healing before, so you gained 32 seconds).

    Kicking gens isn't doing much, since they can get tapped to stop regressing mid chase.

    Remember the killer just got 1 hook for 3 gens done and now 2 can gang up on one.

    Even if the killer can force them away from an almost done gen, they have options to switch gens and it will only add another 80 seconds, because he can't leave the gen.

    Survivor can play pig-in-the-,middle with the killer. since they have unlimited time, they will win.

    So they make a 4 min match into a 6 min match…. yay.

    @Wolf74
    Well, i never let them do gens that fast, so i guess i'm not that bad :p

    Maybe you don't meet good survivor. :p

    We are talking only about the objective times and you cant deny that there is a big gap between the killers/survivors objective time. It takes 2 minutes until a single survivor dies on hook, but it doesnt even take 2 minutes to complete all gens. Sure, the killer will patrol and force one survivor out of the gen game, but dont forget that the killer has to go through endless looping until he actually gets a hooked (+second chances)

    @Master
    If it took less than 2 minutes to die on the hook would make camping way more rewarding, so it's fine.

    Out of curiosity.
    That's a poor excuse. You would have a point if killers weren't aware of the changes, but since that's not the case everyone knows that not seeig auras doesnt mean the other survivors are close to the hook. If a killer decides to camp for that reason it's because:
    A ) ignores the new game mechanics
    B ) doesn't give a damn about bps

    When i play as a killer i couldn't care less about survivors being close to the hook. The more time i spend looking for them the more time i'm giving them to finish the gens.

    PS: true campers were camping even with the old bbq anyway.
    Not a poor excuse. If I can't see any auras, I have to assume that the survivors are close by.
    @Tsulan
    Or maybe they are inside lockers or running distorsion, and you know it.
    You wanna use it as an excuse to camp? Fine, but you know that not seeing auras with bbq doesn't necessarily mean they are close by anymore.
