There's a difference.
As a killer it's your job to check gens and don't let survivors do all of them so you can kill them all.
As a survivor your job is to finish the gens and escape, meaning that it's not their main priority to run towards the killer and get some Bold bps.
If survivors "genrush" it's because killer is giving them the chance to do it.
That's why you got perks like PGTW, it works so damn well on killers with less map pressure.
Pop Goes The Weasel
Sooo, I really think this perk needs a buff.
Something like destroying a freshly repaired gen.
A buff? That perk is really strong already.
I've managed to get 4K without a single gen being done quite a few times. -

If I know you‘re SWF and I chase some off my totem and then immediately after while I’m still chasing, a SWF buddy breaks it, they’re getting hard patrolled.
If you break my totem in front of me, it’s probably a face camp depending on how the match is going. If there are 4-5 gens left and I can spare some time, it’s the face camp.
Ok we get it, you are a salty killer who punishes survivors for doing their objectives and use any excuse to camp. -
Were you respecting pallets?
Depending on the killer i just eat them all and break them asap. This way you get rid of many pallets pretty quickly.
Also if pallets are an issue to you then just run spirit fury, enduring, brutal strenght... -

And what about the ones who simply just leave for any item? You don’t find that cheesy? , I don’t blame them a bit when you’ve been dodged 10 times in a row and that’s the only way to get a game and bring an item if that’s what you want, I’m just pointing out that if a survivor wants to bring an intended item into the game they can’t majority of the time so that’s the only way they can truly get use out of the items they spent bloodpoints for unless you punish the lobby dodgers, the killer shouldn’t be allowed to dictate who they face or what type of game they are about to have by cherry picking noobs with low trophies and no items.powerbats said:I've always said it's should be a 10-15 second lockout timer after which no swapping is allowed so that gives the killer 5-10 seconds depending on which timer is used to choose.
The survivors get locked in and can't last second swap to brighter clothes/ all P3, items etc the killer has time to adjust if they need to. This way lobby dodging by killers because someone on the survivor side want so be cheesy is reduced.
Lobby times go smoother, everyone knows there's no hanky panky going to happen games start=profit.
Pretty much this, yup.
Killer who tends to lobbydodge: "ok, looks like they are solo players now, let's ready up... Wait, 2 flashlights? LEAVE.
When i'm playing with friends and we are lucky enough to not get dodged killer usually equips an ebony mori instead, i find it hilarious 😂 -
Yeah, i was once playing with @lyric and killer DCed for the same reason. He was protecting the totems at all costs and we decided that 2 of us should do the totems and distract the killer while the other 2 kept doing gens. As soon as we removed them killer DCed.
Honestly, some people need to understand that their main priority as a killer is to kill people and prevent them from doing gens, not camping totems. 😕 -

Slugging is boring and most of the time it doesn't work against good survivors that don't care about saving the other guy they will just hide forever.

As i said: Whispers
There was a time when i used to slug to get the 4K but now i don't care at all. I hook the 3rd survivor right away and go look for the last one.
Gets the hatch? gg
I get the 4K? ggNo one is going to use a tracking just for the hatch. Everytime I play as survivor either my team is ok and I escape or I do all the generators and some idiot that doesn't do anything gets the hatch which is stupid. And for the killer too no survivor shouldn't fell perfectly safe 1 meter away from the killer because they get a free escape no matter what. Close the hatch gg or survivor finds it gg no more bs standoffs.
Breaking news, whispers can be used during the whole match, not only for the hatch.
I never have standoffs because i just hit them, problem solved. -

Just give him 115% movement along with a slightly longer frenzy duration. That’s it.115% speed is never going to happen for a good reason. If they move at 115, there's basically no downside to just using a basic M1 to down a survivor after they're wounded.
The devs WANT you to use the power, not treat it like a joke because of how poorly it downs people and how frustrating it is to use. They don't want it to be an efficient choice to treat the entire killer's design as a situational effect.
I agree that they need severe reworking, but 115% isn't a solution. It's like saying "Oh Nurse's blinks are hard to land so make her 115 so I don't have to do that."
The nurse moves at 96.25%. -
Nice instaheals on survivors, some nice addons like Amanda's letter or iridescent king and 12 speed limiters on Leatherface because ######### Leatherface...

I used to play on PC but had to switch to PS4.
My personal opinion on PS4 is:
1 - killers use pretty much the same perks they run on PC
2 - Survivors are as good as the ones on PC and they use flashlights as often, it just takes more skill to aim with the flashlight. (or at least to get used to it)
Skillchecks are worse on console, yeah.
3 - i see all kind of killers equally (more or less) except the nurse.
4 - i think it takes more skill to play as a killer on console mainly because of the camera. -

Well given that there's more survivors than killers it's stand to reason logically that more survivors than killer would use it. But perhaps killers need a taste of the issue they faced before when MLGA was at it's peak so they'd stop lobby dodging.
I've been in countless full solo q lobbies where the moment anyone loads in with or equips a single item the killer dodges. Oh they've got all the achievements dodge, bright clothing dodge, key dodge, map dodge etc.

In the dev stream that i watched they said they are making killers that are fun not necessarily powerful. Fine, if that's the case remove the one thing ( DS ) or change it so that us killer mains get to have fun too. Since this last killer/DLC getting BMed at constantly, tea bagged, and squaded DS teams has increased for some reason. If the devs really want to live up to the "fun" mentality REMOVE/CHANGE NOED & DS. I would happily give up noed if DS wasn't around. Things need to change or its going to push us 1k Plus hour people away.
Please.
Decisive Strike is balanced.
A free off with the counter play wasting your own time (which works 10% of the time) or to waste two perk slots to make it less powerful but still effective is definteley balanced.Just get on my decisive level.
But tbh. 3 gen strat or nurse is equal to decisive strike, if we talk about the fun factor.
Please.
even the devs admitted that it is broken in its current state.
Oh and btw the survivors maneuvering themselves into a 3 gen strat is equal to DS? K bro
As far as i know they never said it was broken.
If i had to guess i would say they said they want to change it because all the pressure coming from people complaining about it. -
@PeanitsPeanits said:Many games have tried that. It universally gets abused to block good players and cheat the matchmaking. You get easier matches, the good player sits in queue for an hour because everyone blocked them.

System would be heavily abused.
Yes you did.
Killers already have that system so when they get outplayed, they can block good survivors.
So adding this system would benefit survivors not killers since killers already have it.
Since it is something that is in favor of survivors but not killers, it shouldn't be in the game. Only killers can abuse something like this, survivors shouldn't have this kind of advantage.
Clear
Missed the MLGA part? Devs had to act and remove it from the white list. Because survivors black listed every killer for the most ridiculous reasons. Like for example playing Freddy.
Now that hurt the matchmaking badly, because they then dodged to many killer lobbies and no one could really play.
Survivors abused MLGA. It happened once, it would happen again.
No I didn't. MLGA is not an ingame feature, it is a program and survivors don't have access to that program all the time like killers can dodge. We are talking about an ingame feature, if survivors use MLGA all the time, might as well introduce the ingame block.
Yes as if killers don't dodge lobbies when they see p3 claudettes, flashlights, toolboxes, too many jakes, bright colored cosmetics. I have heard all of these excuses from forum killers. Again we are not saying that survivors or killers wouldn't abuse it. Everytime you try to vilify survivors, I will say the same thing for killers because players are the faulty ones, not a certain group. If a survivor dodge a killer for a ridicoulus reason, then you can be damn sure that something just as stupid is coming from the killer side.
This is the core discussion. I don't believe that @Vietfox or anybody who argues with you in this discussion want an ingame block. You try to make it look like survivors are satanic creatures that would mess up everything and abuse it, whereas killers are angels so you don't even need to mention them.
This is the reason why again @Vietfox said 'players instead of survivors'. I have no doubt that survivors would abuse it, just like killers.
