I don't see anything "joke-y" about it, but then again, with how little that word means nowadays with all those crappy "prank" content creators out there, I'm not surprised.

VS the op faction, how is hooking and run away 5 times is more op than hooking once and then Mori a survivor?

Because DH also provides a 1-hit bonus at 3 Tokens, reducing all chases by 1 Health state, excluding Deep Wound chases.
Which is especially powerful on ambush Killers like Wraith & Spirit.

So lit the totem at 2 tokens. Thank you for your input!

Lit the totem one token away from the instadown? Sure mate. /sarcasm

Edited to clarify i was being sarcastic*

  • Not really, just because someone is playing as a specific character doesn't mean anything.

  • I was like "hold my vodka!!" but then i saw it was a joke.
  • I'm pretty sure there would still be lots of campers and tunnelers even if devs gave incentives to avoid camping and tunneling.
Let's say they buff the chase for the killer, killers would get less punished for camping since they would be able to catch other survivors once the camped one is dead.
Maybe there are good ideas around there, but same way survivors abused the hook timer change when killer was camping it would happen the same with killers.

Adrenaline is fine because, as many others said, survivor has to play with 3 perks during the whole match and stay alive.

And gen rushing with second chance perks counters killing

  • I have been getting so many Iridescent Kings thanks to the current bloodweb and I'm loving it. My only problem with it is that it's harder to get puddings and BPS. The chances to get those two offerings should've also been increased.

Yeah i got way more addons or moris than bps offerings too. But it's fine, double bps event is starting today and i'm gonna totally miss it because i won't be at home till January the 3rd.

Killers cant pull out moris or add ons mid game.

Every map has a base of 3 chests, so less than 1 per survivor. Firecrackers can be used only once and keys when there are more gens repaired than survivors alive.

Killer addons and ebony moris can be used during the whole match at any time, and they are getting lots of them

Lol at this, what a lie.

    Why a lie?
This is/was a meta build for survivors, because all perks are pretty strong.

Are you really saying that 60% of survivors run that build? That's a lie. Doesn't matter if it's considered "meta", i rarely see that build when i'm playing.

If you play on console don't even try it. I've played on both PC and console and when i switched to PS4 it took me a bit to get used to it because the skill check from PC is smoother. Now that i got used to the PS4 i noticed in this test that i was pressing the great skill check a bit earlier.

Few problems with your statement here.

Offering a really blunt "solution" to the problem is humiliating. Don't like getting camped? Don't get hooked. Don't like getting tunnelled? Don't get spotted.

I'm curious to know why you think ebony mori is broken. If I am lucky I see like one ebony memento every 20 games, but it's my fault for getting hooked in the first place. Besides, moris are a one time use unless the killer has more. Perks are permanent.

Actually i took that sentence from killer mains telling me to not get caught lol.
At rank 1 i see quite often killers using moris, especially when i'm playing with friends. It's either ebony mori or black wards.

even 15 seconds can lose a game

    @yeet
And i can lose a game even if it's 0 seconds, what's your point? I'm not gonna win every match and that's fine.

losing merely because person picked X perk isn't good game design

Many perks make the difference between losing and winning depending on the situation. DS is not different, can be useful sometimes and other times survivors die without having the chance to use it.

Why is Devour Hope a Hex Perk, when you could take an Ebony Mori instead?

Or a hybrid? Like NOED Devour Hope would only light up a dull totem after the 3th hook. Because now you can instadown someone.

Cleansing all dull Totems still prevents DH and NOED.

    Non hex? U mental lad?

But the second idea is good, a random totem should lit up if 3 tokens are gained, and not since beginning

The 2nd idea is still bad, would be like a noed without the exit gates being powered.

No its not. Otherwise it gets cleansed before even having any benefit from that.

High risk high reward, devs just need to fix the totem placement, not make DH an hybrid perk. Would be quite op otherwise.

I was counting on BT already. Someone who knows what to do wouldn't rescue a camped survivor when there are gens yet to be done. One of them will get hooked, so it's way better to keep working on gens till killer decides to leave or gens are done, period.

    Can't mind read.
    Only what you write.
I'm prepared to risk getting hooked, just to save my teammates. Most don't feel the same. But I'm not entitled to survive. I take my WGLF stacks and am happy with it.

Welp, you said you use BT right before my reply, thought that was assumed.
You are free to risk getting hooked to save another one, but doing it while killer is camping means that only 2 survivors will be working on gens for some time instead of 3 (assuming you are lucky and killer doesn't catch both of you).
I do love to be helpful to my teammates too, i rather die and save the other survivors even if that means i'll die, but not giving 4K to the killer is my main priority. It's always about playing smart.
