This is Operation "Emergency ICU" for survivors.

This update if stays as is it can potentially kill the game for good.

i doubt that…. if it is so bad why are you all still playing? try playing skyrim without the day 1 patch for 6 months and see if you keep playing every day, you would quit as its unplayable but here you all cry its bad but are not smart enouph to walk away,

  • @Jacknalls_Paw said:

This is simply yet another example of something being amiss within the team responsible for gathering feedback, as if they only listen to one side of the story without considering any counterarguments.

It is inconceivable that they did not reflect on their decision to implement these changes before going live; there is clearly a lack of good faith on the part of those directly responsible.

After 10 years, it is not possible to still be at such a low level of design and believe that everything is ok, this killer is completely illogical.

the devs arnt the problem its you if its so bad why are you playing i mean come on why should they fix it your still playingl lol

BHVR doesn't deserve this success considering how bad they are treating playerbase.

Would you believe BHVR employees are more than 1200?

Please feel free to tell what they have done to wrong this community that is a fact and not a opinion. Also if anything the devs mistake was listening to the community. Players don't know what they want and for every complaint 1 way you can find another going another way. And no just cause you feel something should be a way doesn't mean it's right.

I see threads on here all the time about how much people hate it when killers tunnel, but nobody ever talks about it when survivors do it. Why? Survivors can hard tunnel gens just as much as killers can tunnel survivors. For example.

    • Rushing a nearby gen right as the killer picks up a survivor
    • Refusing to heal each other or themselves in order to gens
    • Completely ignoring totems (and ironically then complaining about NOED at the end)
    • Completely ignoring chests
    • Not body blocking
    • Leaving teammates on the hook to work on gens

These are just a few examples, but in general survivors can "tunnel" their objective just as much as killers can, yet nobody says anything about it.

Hey hope today finds you well. but let me try to explain it to you how I see it. Not everyone will agree and that's fine. Just how I see it.

So I love this game. You tunneling me isn't a big deal I'm used to it and am a very decent looper and time waster.

That said my friend asked me if dead by daylight was any good.I told him no I don't recommend him playing it at all. Cause he would just be frustrated after a few matchs.

While I don't know where my mmr is. (as none of us do) I'm sure we would not be with a new killer. He would be seen as weakest link.( cause he is cause he's new) and be stuck in a gameplay loop were no matter what anyone does he loses and if we all commit to trying to save him we all lose. I don't expect 2 randoms to care. So after 2 to 3 games he's gonna quit and that's a waste of time. I get tunneling is a part of this game and is a smart strategy . But there is a difference in people doing gens and your job to stop them.

im not ignoring anything. the premise of nerfing a strong perk from survivors but not from killers is not okay. there should always be a balance to things. they way things are now with DBD killers are just getting stronger and stronger and survivors are just getting slower and slower.

im not a pro player and im not even godly survivor i can say i at least play decently but even i can feel the gap just widening between killers and survivors.

hiya random person idk. i would like to point out hook grabs were removed without any balance buff for killer or nerf for survivors.

and ya i know bla bla camping. but if they removed windows from the game and didn't replace them would that not be a nerf?

  • @MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:

Xeno will get nerf only if data shows him he is problematic.

People are yelling for Blight and Nurse for years? Both killers are still strongest 2 after years.

Same goes for Wesker and Knight. They did not nerf either even survivors asking?

So your post is just wrong.

BHVR is just nerfing weak killers to make them even weaker. They never touch strong killers.

It is funny that they nerfed circle of healing (so not heals), they nerfed prove thyself (so no gen pressure), they nerfed decisive strike (so tunneling down is less punishing), they nerfed Med kits (so no self heal if your teammates are busy or dying), but they allow this killer to have so much power that even the treat of using his power is enough to make survivors stuck in a loop waiting for their imminent death.

great job devs! Keep going with this terrible work!

does it need nerfs idk maybe it does maybe it doesnt its not up to me.

id love to hear how you support kicking gens to be seen as holding the game hostage =P

ill be waitting with baitted breath.

I mainly play on ps4, and as a killer main, though sometimes, when planets allign, I do play survivor. Now, every time I encounter another fellow ps4 player in the game I see the option to create a chat with them is disabled. At first I thought these were isolated cases, but they have multiplied as time went on. When I want to say "gg wp" to someone I find I cannot congratulate them, which is frustrating. I understand the dbd community can be...quite intense sometimes though. I even did this sometimes, until I realised it was doing more harm than helping. So now I just congratulate those who deserve so while just passing on the ones who earned a bit of criticism, as I understand they will evolve with time.

So, to all ps4 players around there that I have met or I have yet to meet, this message is for you: "gg, wp".

Question why do you feel entitled to say anything to anyone? I mean they are their to do w/e they are doing. Why should they have to talk to you? While I understand trying to be nice I for one don't know you nor do I care to know you. This isn't a mmo this is a 5 person party game were I may never see you again.

I feel like it'd be good to have a limited block list. Like up to 6 people that you can avoid getting matched with.

Like 6 makes sense that way you have to think long and hard do I ban xyz cause there nurse or do I save them for actual cheaters make it to were you can only ban after the March but before the next and can only remove someone before said match so they have higher value

  • Sorry I didn't know this wasTrials of Osiris I thought this was dbd my bad

I’ve been playing dbd for 6 years now and had my eyes on it since release.

    Tonight was my last match.

I have pumped so many hours of my time that have been so much fun but also so frustrating as sometimes this is how games go. But I don’t know if anyone agrees with me before someone puts in saying “skill issue” but I find this game genuinely unplayable now.

Im not going to go into massive detail about the issues or be a Cry baby about it. I just think this game has been on a rapid spiral in the worst kind of way. So many changes need to be made to have it as the game it once was that excited people.

agree don’t agree that’s fine just needed a place to have a final say before I close the game down for good.

Thanks all, have some good games out in the fog x

You say goodbye and if it is then best of wishes to you in w/e you play after

If you want a game or 2 I'd recommend

7 days to die is a blast and alpha 21 is coming out this month! In the words of madmole it will be out when it's done

If you want a game that makes you earn everything I recommend final fantasy 11 the mmo king

  • The game the way it is is the players fault like 100%

I forget his name my Japanese friend said on the final fantasy 11 forums around 2009 and it's true here. People were complaining about samurai vs ranger cause ranger Is also burst damage. Well the guy on the forum said

I payed to play the game the developers invisioned not a game influenced by the players who can't agree on anything. But the person who poured their heart into it. Players lean toward the side they love. They don't mean too but they do we need someone who doesn't care if either side feels fair and make the game that is as Invisioned

  • So umm after the 1st time it happened why didn't you account for it In subsequent matchs?

  • @OrangeBear said:

Cause it's way easier to keep playing the same game and hope it gets better, or at least that you eventually start to feel like it's worth playing.

You can invest a lot of time and money into dbd, so it's designed to be played a lot and spent on a lot. This makes it harder to stop playing completely, especially if all the money you spent on DBD takes away from the money you would have spent on other games.

Also new games means you start learning something new which takes time and attention.

There is also nothing really like DBD. So if you are going to switch it's most likely gonna be a completely different game.

So yeah it's pretty hard to just uninstall this game and forget about it after becoming unsatisfied with it. It's okay to like the game but be unsatisfied with how it currently is. I do admit though there is a lot needless negativity alongside the criticism that is shared here. I am pretty negative about this game atm but that's because after the past two chapters i am starting to give up on it. But yeah it would be better for me to just take a break or play other games atm which i am trying to do.

ty for sharing i hope it get better too that said have a awsome night and remember always boop the snoot

I have made many friends playing dbd, and as bad as the game is right now, sometimes it's nice to just sit on discord and play with my friends. 9 times out of 10 we aren't even talking about the game, we're talking about something in our lives or hobbies or whatever.

As bad as the game is, it is a great tool to meet people

thats just online games in general. i just wish people would be nicer in general. you have a awsome night

Hey so I'm just a filthy casual player with only 600-ish hours in the game but I wanted to post my two cents and ask other people. I mostly play survivor and this year has been really rough for solos.

I'm not great, but I used to be able to at least escape half of my games on a good day,but nowadays I barely see my team make it to the endgame. After playing on the new patch yesterday literally every match but one ended at 5-4 generators. This feels rough...

Is this a universal experience or am i just doing something wrong/getting really unlucky? My build is We'll Make It,Lithe,Lightweight,Bond + a medkit or a toolbox for reference.

Sorry we only deal in brics currencies so we reject you cents.

Almost everyone, including me hates The Dull Merchant. So I ask, if you could choose what to do with her, what would you do? Would you delete her? Rework her? Allow her to remain the same?

Personally, I would just delete her. Too much work to fix what she has become.

Also are there any other killers you'd want to rework?

Me when I play as or against her:

Why not have them fly around the map randomly so like you can't just plop them on gens but they fly all over with a red stain were the cameras looking so if you watching you avoid the drone till it flys by but if you arnt paying attention and it catches you give it something to reward avoiding/destroying

  • I like to play wraith and ghostie boy while I like all the killers I care for doctor the least

    Hello,

I got home from another day at the office tonight, and I powered up my gaming console entertainment system to play some Dead by Daylight. I find out that I have an Oni daily to down four survivors while I'm in my power. Okay, no problem, I can do that. Now, I'm very not good mechanically at using Oni. I only play him for dailies or challenges. I'm also only an average killer player. For the very first game of the night, I get to enjoy this extremely fun game of Dead by Daylight.

I implore you to watch the video of this match below. I would love to hear one compelling reason why this perk should continue to exist in its current form. Its absurd. It needs to be changed to do something completely different. Thanks for watching. I apologize for the jerky camera movement, I can't do anything about it. It's a combination of console camera movement and some stick drift on my joystick. I don't really notice it when I play, but I understand it's very noticeable in the video. And once again, I'd like to reiterate, yes I know I'm not good with Oni at all.

    https://youtu.be/WZ_6BDqD-OI

i feel ya however at least you arn't ruining peoples games..... because i had to start over i've started doing six feet below lol

camping bubba cause you cant do it any other way.

DBD please add this option, i'd rather wait 30 mins then deal with SWF on unbalanced survivor game.

    https://youtu.be/Q1Ze7xV3s-U

Check this video out and then tell me in comments how game is Killer sided or balanced

For every game you link like that I can link 100s of games were a team falls apart over 1 persons bad/selfish mistake.

I play mostly killer but I do dabble in survivor and let me tell you that pendulum swings both ways. Why do you think base bt was added? Hint it wasn't for swf. Also the basekit unbreakable won't be for swf. It breaks down to relying on people to care and sadly most don't. Its like ruin after the 1st change honestly it was weak. But people choose to walk away from their gen to save. So it got work done but if you parked you happy rear end on the gen they got 0 value from it. Idk why they don't just add base coms for survivor and balance around it. If you don't want to talk you mute its that easy.

  • @FellowKillerMain said:

Depositing the energy seems like the bigger challenge. But, as for collecting the energy... everyone is complaining about tunneling and camping, so when you're downed the killer gets energy, which you can take back with decisive strike. If you didn't have to deposit it, it would be a lot easier I guess.

I don't think you have to deposit it thou I think you just have to get it from the killer.. could be wrong thou

  • @BearMerchant said:

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/NCAC06NBQT4U/deadbydaylight-win64-shipping-l025fkzi2h.png

Not only do you have to stun the killer, you have to get away and deposit the energy in the rift. If you get downed, you lose the energy. If you're at cap in that match and stun the killer after, it doesn't contribute to the challenge either.

This means that you actually want to avoid doing gens, because doing gens will bring you to cap, which means you can't deposit any energy you get from stunning the killer. Also, as far as I can tell, you get no void energy from perks like Head On or Decisive Strike, yet the challenge doesn't indicate that at all. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about this one.

EDIT: I've been informed it's not the perks, it's that the killer has to have energy to steal. I was stunning killers that had no energy to give, which is just another convoluted layer to an already difficult challenge.

The only way to reliably keep your energy after stunning the killer is to stun them an additional 2 times in the same chase, so that even if you lose 3 void energy you'll be able to deposit the rest you earned. This means you have to camp pallets and drop them instantly instead of looping.

So to recap, to get this challenge done, you are incentivized to:

    1) Avoid doing your main objective

    2) Avoid interacting with event objects (the pumpkins)

    3) Camp and waste pallets in the early game when it's most important to conserve resources, because the longer you go on in the match the closer you get to energy cap.

The challenge failed to indicate any of this — and yeah, you can figure this stuff out after a few matches, but the lack of instruction on it felt incredibly confusing and frustrating. I would stun the killer twice and think I was done only to realize that it didn't count, and this happened multiple times. It's especially frustrating in solo queue where communication is next to impossible. Please never do anything like this again, it took way too long to finish.

Blast mine gave me mine was not a issue got it in one game honestly.

  • @Lobos said:

Skill issue. If killers can't win a game after 6.1 then that is on you. The killers I see in games have no trouble winning and it shows in the stats too. I do enjoy seeing killers crying about SWFs on the forums though.

Use the broken over powered S and A tier killers since they can go on 50+ win streaks so often. You all have it easy enough already! Guess survivors should just start out on hooks, stay injured permanently, and also have their auras revealed the whole game too right?

i agree with you sir however you forgot one thing... add starts off with beartraps on head no matter who said killer is.

i don't care how good you think they look, do not encourage this. FOMO, or fear of missing out, is a highly manipulative and predatory business tactic that is pretty much exactly what it sounds like. encouraging you to buy a skin by dangling its exclusivity (the thing bhvr said they'd stop doing and then immediately started doing again) over your head. please don't feed into this.

I will say I respect your feelings on it so no Ill will... with that out of the way I have no issue with my boy Dwight.

I'd even like it better if they added them all into the game to be unlocked like per prestige. So like Dwight lv 50 = tp Dwight.

That said they are still a business so people need to be fed so a 15$ sub a month seems fair right. I mean you do belive they deserve to make money off their work right? Just like you at work....

    They provide a service

  • I'll hook who I want when I want. I don't owe you a person I don't know and honestly don't care about. Anything i'll always tunnel a jill out I don't care if I lose or win. As long as jill dies that said same with you. You don't get to tell me what to do or when to do it.

  • Miss the good old days of 99% healing cause if you 100% your aura was shown. Only to drop pallet xyz heal 1% and have 3 health states the killer doesn't know you have till hit 2 wooo

It's endurance effect only deactivated when you were put into a dying state.

Also you have deadhead on top of that lol

  • @Yippiekiyah said:

The most op perk to ever exist in this game, nothing has ever come close to rivalling it.

Mom on release might be the only exception 3 hits for a unlimited endurance lol

  • Also in that example.. to you it looks like the killer stomped us maybe even op...

In reality I don't care about your fun. Don't care if you get one hooked. And so on over a shirt your wearing lol

It fell apart over my actions not yours not the other 2 or even my buddy Bubba. But you don't know that. Same thing if I decide I don't want to work on gens and I wanna play hide and go seek with Bubba lol my goofing around could cause a early hook causing someone to go for a save and have a possible 2nd down. (Honestly it's a no win for you...) and I'll heal do some totems and mess with said killer.

It's a 3v1 only thing is saving me might buy you a few mins.

I think that most of the issues on this game come from this . Not all but most

  • @Tsulan said:

But she complained that she couldn´t anymore, because the game was to hard now. That its not casual anymore for survivors.

Tbh, if killers have to sweat, then so do survivors. If survivors can relax, than so should killers. All in the appropiate mmr region. So that sweaty people are matched with sweaty people and relaxed ones with relaxed ones.

The real issue with this game is the players 90% of them think they are mvps and in reality they are scrubs. I'll admit there are toxic killers. That said survivors are the biggest issue. For example maybe if you play Leon and im in your match well you are just sol no saves for you...now people say play how you want but my actions cause the match to go off the rails. You don't know why I'm not saving you. You just know you might get one hooked. And that just one example. And yes it could be anything from a actions you make, to a character you picked or i don't like xyz shirt.

When did I say I don't want to play the game? All I said was that most people don't go into it to bully the killer, and that I've heard that argument too many times.

Nice to know you went door to door and got the info to prove that cause otherwise you only speak for yourself and no one else.

  • @LittleBigSunset said:

I personally think survivor needs some QoL basekit updates to improve the survivor experience much as killer got some much welcomed changes to improve theirs. For example, a basekit Kindred and an ability to view each other's loadouts before the match begins to improve coordination and strategy amongst survivors that cannot communicate.

I also think that the Thana change should be reverted to pre-update percentages (the increase in gen time is already a strong buff for this perk). I think the DS stun time should be reverted to five seconds (an anti-tunnel perk should adequately punish the killer for tunnelling. I think the endgame change was justified. But for a perk that only activates providing the killer decides to single you out and is otherwise a wasted perk slot it should be a little stronger. Maybe four seconds as a compromise?)

I think Pop can remain as is for now but Ruin should be reverted to at least the old percentage gen regression if it is now going to deactivate after a kill. As of the moment it is worse than all other gen regression available. I was a fan of Ruin because it encouraged killers to keep up gen pressure rather than camping/tunnelling. Now I fear it will never be seen again.

That's my thoughts. You're welcome to say that no changes are needed if that's how you feel. Please don't lynch me in the comments.

(Laurie skins are also a much needed addition to the game. I will reinstall immediately if she gets outfits :D)

I do agree with it needing something...

I think most the changes are ok for now seeing a load out would be nice thou. I feel like it needs something else but I'm not sure what. It could just be me. Actually needing others to do the right thing instead of hiding in bush xyz idk. I'm gonna give it more time

  • @The_BiggCheeze said:

Seriously how are you gonna complain about a change when you’ve barely tested it. So many people complained about the pallet vacuum being removed and yet here we are, 2022, everyone got used to it and stopped talking about it.

Ffs just be quiet and play the game and adjust instead of crying about change. We aren’t cavemen anymore, change isn’t gonna scare you.

Idk about them but.... I enjoy the game same as always I'll admit I don't care to do many gens.(if any) don't care if I die (and even less if anyone else does) what I like to do is stalk the killer,=p I went into the basement last game vs a basement chest protector Bubba. and pointed at the chest he said no so I went next to him tea bagged a few times another person came down I pointed at the chest and said no. Then shined a flashlight at them. The Bubba was awsome to talk to in endgame chat. Thou my team mates said I was working with the killer... and indeed I was protecting his chest!

  • Errm what's not fair... not fair; not conforming to approved standards, as of justice, honesty, or ethics: I don't think camping or tunneling break any of those as approved standards are set by bvdr. The issue is your entitled believing oneself to be inherently deserving of privileges or special treatment. Is more of the case of what's going on.

Not gonna lie, I am not a hoarder. I actually despise inventory management in games, coming from Ultima Online where we had a bank system where you had to put items in chest storage that maxed out and you had to buy a second account to hold more junk.

I love DBD becuse items are disposable, and not gonna lie, when I p3ed some survs this year I had all that old Halloween toolboxes/Halloween flashlights and it felt great to click "Prestige" and delete all of it.

hate game clutter, burn the cakes

Idk how Ultima online was but final fantasy 11 was and still is inventory nightmare a example would be for a pld you would need a 50 dt set a 50 mdt set 2 to 3 weapons skill sets a enmity set then possible cure potency set o.o yay macros.

  • @RisingTron said:

This is my second post to the DBD forums, hello! As the title suggests, I really think it's about time BHVR implement some solo queue buffs. It's becoming so incredibly painful. I mean, it's always been painful, but I feel like I'm reaching the tipping point 😭

I'm not saying make solo queue OP or anything, but at least bring it up to SWF level. Give solo queue players the information a swf would have so there could be some level of coordination. Or at least an understanding.

-Show us the perks each survivor has in the lobby screen. So I can say "Okay these people have BT, I'll let them go for saves. This person has a boon, I won't cleanse every totem I see." etc. Just have it be a diamond formation above survivor's heads in the lobby. Obviously, swfs can just say what perks they'll be using and communicate with each other.

-I feel like I heard somewhere that the devs were thinking on implementing a system in-game that shows what each survivor is doing. Whether it's totems, a gen, in a locker, etc. I also think a call-out system would be GREAT. "I'll go for the save!" "Commit to the gen!" "The killer is nearby!" "I'm under a pallet!" Of course the good old fashion teabag and point works for a lot of things, but that kind of communication would be SO helpful. The more specific, the better.

-This ties in with the above point, but add an indicator for when every survivor is actively being chased by the killer. When the Obsession is being chased, the entity symbol moves. Add something similar or just have an "In chase" logo of some kind to indicate that. A swf will obviously let their team know whether or not the killer is still chasing them. Or if they broke chase to go to a gen."

I think if solo queue is brought more in line with swf teams, then the devs could balance the gameplay around ALL survivors having the same level of communication. So, we would never have to worry about killers who stomp solos, and the killers who are weaker with swf teams can be buffed without the worry of being pushed too far for solo players who can't communicate as well. Of course there could be other killer buffs to make up for this as well if people think so.

But, I wanna know what other people think about solo queue getting buffed, and what changes y'all would like to see be made. Sorry if this is a long read, but I've been playing DBD since 2020 and this is my first leap into the forums lol.

hey i don't really post much anymore but no one seems to get the real issue.

i don't say this to be rude to anyone and feel free to disagree .

it doesnt matter what they do when i play with my friends i take it serious my boy kenny g on the hook you bet ill get him off safe.

me kenny brad 3 man and your in our lobby all you are at that point is a means to a end we wont be worrying about you.

and i am not saying that to be rude but in the end who are you? o no one important to me o well gg.

remember while its a 1v4 they treat it like a 1v1v1v1v1. so i could know the killer is there and unhook you to force you to be tunneled as a distracion. we dont care if you dont have fun once again your not someone i know nor care about .

im not saying its ok but im being real about it all it takes is one person to do this to people its the nature of pugs.

i wont lie i was in a 2 man one time and a random booned and shortly unhooked brad stealing my save so i made a point to break every totem in spite. they cant force me to help you and there is nothing they can do that would make someone see you as anything more then a means to a end. what solo lacks is the willingness to work together and that cant be forced.

no disrespect intended but its the truth while not all games id say most

    I love distortion.

Other survivors sometimes say it's a bad perk because it keeps attention off you even when your teammates need assistance. And my response would be... you're damn right. I don't WANT the killers attention, and I sure af don't wanna be tunneled & camped by a lethal pursuer Blight.

    Godspeed non-distortion users xD

Agree 100% not just that but the info it gives can be awsome to have. Token used at start lethal pursuer, on a hook bbq and so on very useful.

I've even had it to were I end up with obsession at the end and it blocks rancor feels bad

    Title.

For me, it'd have to be Hex: Pentimento. I recently decided to use it together with Hex: Ruin and Hex: Undying and holy.

It puts Survivors in a big lose/lose scenario. Either deal with Hex: Ruin, which is a pain on Artist, or go out of your way to cleanse 2 Totems, only for them to become Rekindled Totems and now you repairing and healing 30% slower.

It doesn't last the whole Trial, as they're Hex Perks, but for the time they're active, the game's on halt

So I like to run Deliverance Distortion head on and deception lots of fun

You being a selfish player doesn't mean solo Q players are bad. You being bad at the game =/= solo players being bad at the game.

Obviously my point was missed time to be direct. It doesn't matter if I'm good or bad and it doesn't matter if you are good or bad. Me choosing to not play the best could cause people to get hooked and die. say I decide to walk the map hunting totems. Sure that's a thing people do. However at that point it's a 3v1 and a 3v1 at 5 gens would not be ideal would it? Point is I heal people open chest and do totems. But refuse to save or do gens I am causing you to have a f up game and you would not know it. Well let's use pinhead as a example. What's to keep me from picking it up and just walking all over with it? I know how to play and what to do. However your poor luck put you into a match were you are handicapped.

Most people with friends play harder then ones with random people. I care if my friend has fun. I don't care if you do or don't. Just the way it is.

So I'm gonna guess at thousands of hours I am bad if I play solo Q, but if I suddenly find people to SWF with I become very skillful.

    Big brain take indeed.

I get what he's saying. It's kinda how I play survivor when I'm solo. Say you get hooked and the killer leaves. I probably won't save you cause 1 I don't care enouph to save you and 2 I don't owe you a save. I'll admit it's a ######### way to play but with that said my willingness to not save you could most likely kill 3 of the other players. It's like gens sometimes I do them sometimes not. I like stalking the killer thou. That said it would not make you bad but it would turn a 1 kill to a possible 3k

  • Lol dbd p2w omg if only you had any idea. I'd say killers are more like expansions then p2w also they do have a random 4 perk buying system so you can get perks they have sooner or later.

In the simplest terms, "pay-to-win" describes a game where paying real money gives players a significant advantage over those who don't spend any money. Simply having microtransactions does not make a game pay-to-win.

Kinda like how wow is p2w via their token.

Dbd may not be perfect but it's far from p2w say Mikey was the strongest so what you won't run into him every match in a real p2w environment they would force you into a match as much as possible with him to get you to buy him I don't think bvdr does that .

That's a fluke, I'd say. Ruin is nowhere near as viable as people make it seem. Those scenarios you said do happen, but it's not that drastic, and destroying the Ruin can just take all that pressure away. Hexes can be the most useless or most game-carrying perks based on the rng of the totem spawn, and the survivors' motivation to look for totems.

Hmm I'll be honest if a bit mean. Cause honesty sucks sometimes. Ruin is weak af.. what makes it seem strong isn't the perk but how others play if the killer chases someone and you get on a Gen and glue yourself to it only leaving if said killer comes to you they get 0 value. It has the same weakness legion had/has spread out and its power is decreased. It's good for 3 Gen setups but that's more on the survivors.

If survivors want to win THAT badly, I could care less. I never expect integrity from them to begin with, so I am rarely if ever disappointed.

I just AFK in the corner if there is a blatant cheater so as to not give them the attention they desperately crave. If they are subtle, I guess we get to test their limits as I personally double down on sus players just because I prefer chasing the good ones.

+1 to this. This is how I handle it too

  • Just wanna add I didn't even get a hook lol

  • Glad I can help miss nurse. Sure he got 4k but it's all good cause I got 0k o.o so it's = to 2kill 2 escape.
