    Enjoy the game and not take it so serious. Playing with friends should be fun, and they may not play the game as much as you. If you want to play serious just go solo or find a swf group who has been playing for a while.

    Killer is something you might be interested in, since there’s no one else to blame but yourself.

    Otherwise, if you only want to play Survivor you have two options.

    1. Find a more competitive group to play with 

    Or

    2. Relax and don’t be as competitive, enjoy the time with you friends.

    - is this a close friend, or simply a "game friend"....that would equate to an aquantaince in real life?

    If it's the latter, then I suggest you be courteous and respectful....but honest.

    Let them know that playing with them on that game isn't that fun, and that you believe that both of you would be happier playing something else....or separately.

    If it's the former, you owe each other a serious heartfelt talk.

    (Keep in mind, you are not required to defend your feelings. Although, the same can not be said for your actions)
