If she is remotely as tall as vommy mommy, people will see her big dumb head over obstacles and she'll have no mindgame potential.

I have never come across a Pig that was up for it. Most every Pig I have been up against was pretty sweaty. Not toxic, just clearly out to win. Good players and all that, but not there for memes.
Bubba, on the other hand, oh man. The memes.

My thoughts are that the weakest item model shou have a big gap in difference to the strongest item but have similarities to weaker item.
for example: broken key looks broken while both dull and skeleton key have many similarities that only people that notices the difference can tell which is which.
another would be: Brown would look dirty and used while the mechanic toolbox look cleanse and unused. The Alex toolbox will look different then the other toolbox, having tool coming out of it.
That would be a perfectly valid way of approaching the scenario. Similar models, but with notable differences in order to cut down on development time but give each item a distinct visual.
Also, my guess is your vote (if this was up to a vote) would be for different models? Yes, even simply using different skins would count.

As long as it's intentional, cool.
If it's not, it needs to be fixed.

Yup but as I said, I was recording through Discord, So I highly doubt that it saves.
It does not. Sorry.
Also, not to the OP but rather in general, the Killer might "help" a Survivor if they see something they don't like. I know that if I see a Survivor get sandbagged or suffer some kind of bug, I make a point to help them out because their teammates are turds or the game is making things hard on them. If it's early game, I'll still go after them later. If it's late game, I might give them the hatch for putting up with BS. Except Blendies. Blendies get the hook. Always.

@CluelessWanderer said:
Every single Trickster I've ever faced has done nothing but camp and tunnel.
Hook someone, go a bit away from the hook, and then a shower of knives at the hook. Rinse, repeat.
His power basically requires him to tunnel. Laceration decay means breaking a chase is a huge waste of time and resources for him.

Maybe it wasn't console. Maybe it was Windows Store. It shows up as if it's console, or at least it did last I checked.

In a month or so, I'll respond to this post.
Also, some people just leave the forums for days/weeks/months at a time, come back, and see that their last post had responses. So they respond to them, completely ignoring the amount of time that has passed.

and GF's addons, he has a lot of questionable ones
He's also a bit reliant on chewed pen to make his power available enough to get good use.
-
6+ is fine. I don't want to tunnel people out of the game, but I'm also not going to sweat it if I don't give every Survivor every hook phase. I just try to be reasonable about picking my targets when the option is there.

I can't even remember the last time they genuinely shadow nerfed a killer.
I don't even know if they ever did that.
Not to play devils advocate, but I seem to recall a dev mentioning the change as being intentional during the PTB. I could be entirely wrong, and I have no proof nor source, but some kind of memory is bouncing around in my head about a dev stating it being explicitly intended during the PTB.

There are soft counters, such as trying to trick them at windows and pallets, but nothing concrete. You're flipping a coin.

Wot

PC gets better frames. It can also pick the input method. So yes. If a controller is better, it can use a controller. If mkb is better, it can do that. It can also combine the two. All of this on top of generally better performance and the ability to change settings.

Might wanna look at the thread title and correct it...

Never knew that. Seems like a weird interaction
It's actually very helpful to Legion. Some people use flash happy survivors as a tool for faster downs. As alluded to in this thread, there is also a Legion tech that requires a flashlight at a pallet.
-
Rng is rng. Nobody expects it to be perfect. However, balance outside of the rng should be pretty tight. Again, not perfect, that's almost impossible, but very tight. Currently, it's not.

@Sonzaishinai said:
Intentional and actually a benifit for Legion.
Let's just say to never try to blind a Legion at a pallet if you think they have their power
I thought they fixed that tech.

Did it not take you to the correct time? I posted the link and it is supposed to take you to the correct time when it happened, and I also didn't clip it so yeah I posted the whole thing lol.
It started me out at the very beginning of the session, so no :C

Did you mean to post the entire 3 hour session?

I like to use Thanatophobia, M&A, Enduring, Dying Light, especially with the new mangled add-on.
Thana and Dying Light go well together in a way most people don't think - it makes people heal. M&A gives you bursts of info and then shrinks your TR so you know where people are but also who you can chain your Frenzy with. And Enduring is just a nice chase perk that sometimes gets you out of your power nice and quick.
I have been called "evil" for swapping out M&A and Enduring for Ruin and either Undying or Discordance. Can't fathom why...
Thana and Dying Light go well together in a way most people don't think - it makes people heal.
As a previous Legion main, I think MOST Legion mains ran Thana for that reason entirely. Sure, it helps when Survivors decide not to heal, but it's primary goal was to try and force a heal. Dying Light is doubling down on that intent, and while not a bad thing, is normally swapped out for something like Disco or BBQ in order to give passive Intel. It's the same reason Plague players run Thana: To try and force cleanse.
-
Scoops.
I could build entire cities with the bricks I squeeze out when I see that sailor outfit.
-
At this point, I'd be happy if Laceration decay was removed, but Lacerations were removed when injured or healed.
One ricochet as basekit would be a cool unique mechanic, though it wouldn't really buff him that much. With Laceration decay out the window, he could make set ups and pay offs, which would negate needing to buff his knife damage.
Other than that, the standard bit about making Main Event like Onis power in that it can be stored, and remove the mindless automatic throwing it does. Let him move at full speed while not throwing AND while aiming in Main Event, and have his movement penalty while throwing only slight so the ability feels appropriately threatening.
Even if Main Event never gets touched and is permanently relegated to the dust bin, the Laceration change would drastically improve his capability to make plays, snowball, use strategy, and give him flexibility to break off and go after different targets rather than feel forced to pick a target and tunnel them down.
-
The Killer will be Chris Redfield. He will just get bigger and bigger as the trial progressing, until he is a literal mountain that towers over the map. He then leans in and eats all the Survivors before working on his gains.
-
That's just cancelling an action. There's nothing wrong with that. It's not an exploit.
Killers look down at pallets all the time in order to fake they are going to animation lock into breaking the pallet, then break off and get an easy chase instead. Sure, they never cancelled an action, but they faked it in order to gain the same benefit. That's not unfair either.
-
Guess you should have done better.
I dunno.
-
Ya, I really don't want him to be faster. I'd rather his mechanics be improved. Adding speed over power is just a bandaid.
-
I would say to make Laceration not decay at all, but healing from injure to healthy removes it. Also, losing a health state removes it. This would let him build Laceration over time to make snowball plays, and would remove the need to buff knife damage otherwise.
Ricochet basekit would be fun as well. Not really needed, but would separate him more from the other ranged killers.
-
Personally, I'd just remove Laceration Decay, let healing remove Laceration (so it only benefits Injured Survivors as a result), make single ricochets base kit, get rid of Laceration being removed from target he doesn't attack, and keep him slow. At least then he can build up snowball plays and hitting people a few times when they're out in the open has some kind of gravity to it. Making Survivors heal Laceration away while injured would also provide some much needed slowdown. On top of all of that, he's be a ranged strategy Killer, which when combined with basekit ricochet, would make him extremely unique compared to all other ranged Killers in playstyle and snowball potential.

Would you please leave Bubba alone? He is the most handsome and nicest killer in existence.
That's a weird way to spell Blight.
-
I'd prefer to keep him 110% and buff his power and mechanics to make his slower speed warranted, but at the current rate, I wouldn't be surprised if he got a speed boost instead of a mechanics buff.

Well I'm happy other ppl play the Twins. I get people don't like them but there's more to them than camping and 4k slugging. There's more versatile, fun ways to play them
Ya, I just wouldn't be surprised if you can count the number of Twins mains on one hand. AFAIK, they have an insanely low pickrate, and are getting nerfed to boot, so they're in a pretty bad spot. Tack onto that their horrible reputation, and you get a Killer that has a long way up hill to go.

Am I missing something or how on earth does Trickster, a character who can down people with their power and main event, have a shorter stun then legion who cannot down with his power, it doesn't make sense to me.
Legion tends to be much closer and injures more quickly. Much more quickly. That said, Legions fatigue is still a bit too long, and both him and Trickster should not be punished for standard attacks. I'm speaking to Feral Frenzy and Main Event, not Laceration, though losing Laceration on a target you didn't hit is also dumb.
-
Weird. All of my trials have been forever Freddy. It's become completely obnoxious.

@MadLordJack said:
No, I don't think this is an okay change. Completely removing a killers ability to track you? You basically become undownable for the first two minutes of a trial.
And imagine in an indoor map. What the #########. Who thinks that's an okay idea? Who looks at the killers ability to track survivors and goes "well, that's too strong!"
I could name one person, and they happen to complain that BBQ is OP...

This explanation is quite reasonable, thank you :D
If you ever want to check out movies with characters similar to Trickster, I recommend Visitor Q and Ichi the Killer. Visitor Q is a bit of a stretch, but has a touch of it, and Ichi the Killer has a yakuza that is absurdly sadistic. Also, the Japanese film Suicide Club has a cult primarily composed of females that congregate around a rock star figure, though I won't go into the details. It's a good movie, though odd.
I honestly hope they add the Kakiharas scars from Ichi to Trickster as a cosmetic later. It would absolutely fit.

Sure, it's something, but they said in December 2018 they'd work to bridge the gap in the basekit and this just feels like yet another slap to the face.
Ya, I feel you there.
-
Honestly, I completely agree with you, but I'm also just happy to be getting one in the first place now. I hope it DOES make its way into basekit and Small Game can maybe do something to buff the totem counter. That said, this game seems to completely operate under the idea that the core game is flawed, and perks are there to function as patches/band-aids to fix it. I've become somewhat numb to it.

Liking that Small Game change.
