Oh boy, please stop with that 16 vs 4 Perks stuff. It is annoying. LIke I said in another thread, with that logic, Survivors are faster than Killers, because they move at 400% Movement Speed.
If you use NOED, you dont have any problems with people using MoM and Adrenaline at this point, because MoM will not trigger. Besides that, it should not trigger by Phantasm Attacks (I did not play Hag yesterday or vs Hag, so I cannot confirm this yet based on my games). It does not trigger with Nurse Blinks, so it should be the same with Hag.
And then you have more than M1.
In the end, MoM will not be used that often. It is, right now, because it is new. But this will stop, because while it is a decent Perk, there are many Perks who are simply better than MoM.
@Aven_Fallen Your logic isn't sound.
Each survivor has 4 perks and in this case they collectively have 14 perks that give them a second chance.
Let's say you need 6 hits in total to down a survivor three times and hook them.
A killer needs to connect with 24 swings in order to sacrifice each survivor.
Adrenaline will heal a survivor causing a killer to need an additional hit on each one which adds up to 28 swings.
There were two insta-heals which brings the hit total up to 31.
MoM x3 in this match brings the total to 34.
Unbreakable brings the total to 36
Deliverance brings it to 37
Borrowed time is tricky so we'll only add 2 for that one for a total of 39
Dead hard will add an additional 3 swings if we work under the assumption that I don't fall for it after they use it the first time.
This brings the total hits to 39 and 3 extra swings in this example. This is enough to down and sacrifice 6 survivors with the 7th escaping through the hatch.
We won't talk about survivors who get healed, missed swings due to loops or pallets.
THIS is why the killer is facing off against 16 perks and your 400% logic fails.

@NoShinyPony Here's a 2k from SpaceCoconut which is benchmark for killers to get. Take note that 3 survivors are using MoM (plus other strong perks) and he still got benchmark on sacrifices, see far from unplayable as demonstrated.
@Nickenzie take note that the issue isn't winning or losing but the frustrating nature of the matches and how it is not fun for some people to deal with this many second chances.
2 sacrifices after fighting through 14 second chance perks and two insta-heals is not fun nor is it balanced.
It's been mentioned by many people how the devs cannot balance around a 2k 2e ratio. But I'm sure you'll just disagree so I'll leave it at that.
The matches are becoming more frustrating and less fun. This isn't about burning out and needing to take a break because I pace myself and don't play enough to burn out.
I'm just glad I'm not the only one who feels this way and hopes that the situation changes.

Complains about second chances.
Uses NOED and Rancor.
sigh
Yes, my two second chances compared to the survivor's collective 14.
Rancor was tied to STBFL to try to deal with MoM since it kind of helped with the hit recovery.
NoED is for Adrenaline which the majority of survivors are currently using as evidenced by the image I provided.
-
This was only one of several matches like this and I honestly believe that this was NOT a SWF group.
@not_Queen These matches aren't fun and they're becoming more and more frustrating to deal with. What can be done about this?
-
I like the strategic playstyle the hag offers.
The spirit is a close second thanks to her mind game potential.

I feel like this is something the whole community is hoping to get fixed sooner rather than later.
This is an idea, but I wonder what's actually being developed to help the situation.

All perks are crutches to solve various problems players have in a match.
Survivor = 62
Killer = 57
Survivors have more.

Reading comprehension ftw.
He literally said that the wild movement of the weapon made it difficult to see survivors in the distance.
But personally I do think that her arm and weapon combined take up too much of the right side of the screen.

People of the Fog, Decisive Strike is one of Laurie Strode’s unique perks, which was released with Chapter II: HALLOWEEN in October of 2016.

If these aren't intentional DC's then I'd like to point out that we're getting dedicated servers in the summer.
If we think it's bad now I think we're in for a pretty rough time when they get switched on...

When we say rank doesn't matter it's because the ranking system doesn't rank skill. So rank doesn't matter in dbd.

Can confirm the new system is questionable.

She's actually fine without a teleport lunge. I used to think that would be nice too, but I just changed my playstyle to suit instant hits or just chased a little bit before trying to lunge.
The only thing that needs adjustment with her are the Waterlogged Shoe and Severed Hand, but I don't even use them because her other addons are great.
Lisa is good as she is :)

I think I'm just going to post this in each thread about NoED from now on.

To stop NoED from activating, survivors need to cleanse all dull totems. Difficulty=Easy
To stop adrenaline, killers need to prevent 4 survivors from completing 5 generators. Difficulty=Not Easy
Adrenaline isn't really a problem though.

Yet you did say that and I quote "A perfectly reasonable post showcasing how little you read (or understood) of the original post."
So you implied that because he didn't agree with the post means he didn't read it and is thus wrong.
Therefore my point still stands and I wasn't being inflammatory at all and you know it since you said exactly what I quoted. You didn't like what they said and thus claimed they didn't read or understand what was written.
I implied that because of his response that was addressed in the original post that he either didn't read or didn't understand what I wrote.
He wrote about the direct price of the items and how some people will buy regardless of the price and if nothing sells the price will be lowered.
The sentence I mention directly addresses this and states that the post about the store is not about money but value compared to the state of the game at the time.
You were being inflammatory by equating me to a fanboy or someone who wants their side to be op which adds nothing of value to this discussion and attempts to assign a negative connotation to me as a person.

A perfectly reasonable post showing that anyone that disagrees with your opinion is wrong and didn't read your post because they disagree with you.
You're like the vocal minority of killer and survivor mains on here who want their side to be op. Anyone who disagrees with them is a fanboy, doesn't understand anything, or is just plain wrong.
The third sentence in the 9 month old OP says "it's not about money, it's about value" I'm sure you know the difference between the two.
He didn't directly disagree with the post and I didn't say he was wrong.
Stop being unnecessarily inflammatory.

Ok ok . I'll get to work on a script for a new updated hag guide...

No one knows for sure, but if you go through the different ones you can tie similarities together, high subscriber and view counts, popularity in the community, different regions, marketability, relations with other streamers, direct relations with the devs and so on.
The primary requirement though looks like is to be a twitch streamer or equivalent.
The YouTube channels of most of those chosen are simply repositories for stream clips and videos. The only exception seems to be LionAntonny and Samination, but I mean c'mon, his dbd animations are great!
This would also explain why Monto wasn't on this list. I can't imagine that he wouldn't apply since DbD is his primary game for now.
It's hard not to be a little salty, but the only thing I can do is to keep making YT vids and try to make them better and start streaming when I get a better connection :)
Hopefully, the program will find away to extend to YouTube video creators as well and not just streamers...

Space coconut is ok. He needs to work on his presentation more and stop schilling his store for the first full quarter of his videos.
You're right on both points and I'm working on being a better creator in general. Thanks 😊 -
Some people take this game so seriously that they'll make posts about how serious people take the game on the official forums.
Tldr: telling people what to do is a waste of time.

Good luck.
Dont open the gate and nobody opens it, or they start to do so when it's too late.
I love the hypocrisy here. "Noed is fine, deal with it" yet when it comes to Decisive or the hatch there's a waterfall of salt.
I guess killers should just get good and learn to kill the survivor before they find the hatch?
Or they should just get good and catch the decisive user after they've escaped?
If nobody (including yourself) opens the gate, hide until they die or open it yourself.
Killers have endurance, slugging or dribbling to deal with DS.
The hatch IS unfair, but this isn't the place for that debate
Your skill will allow you to escape. If you die, then the killer outplayed you. -

I guess the goal was that traps wouldn't be in a useless corner, but near a spot you would normally trap.
Lessening the time it would take to set traps since you'd be patrolling at the same time. -
This post is a pretty good example of why some killers do it.
It puts your salt overload on public display for everyone to enjoy rather than just the end screen chat. -

I don't remember myself but in the end, there's a lot that can be done to the perk. It almost doesn't matter what it is as long as it doesn't encourage tunnelling as much as it currently does.

A situation that happened to me was against a twitch 4-man.LegitAdventurer said:I'm sorry but if you think communicating with your team is cheating thats just incorrect. Thats like saying call of duty with friends is cheating if the other team isnt using mics. Or Overwatch, or Friday the 13th etc.
Throwing at the hook can be countered, honestly, i love when survivors do that to me. Easy damage, yeah i lose a hook but i also just gained a huge advantage. And as a survivor I body block hooks wether I'm solo queuing or SWF. I'm not claiming to be the best killer, or survivor around. Suffice to say I'm just pretty causal player but playing solo queue vs playing with teams I play the game exactly the same as I would with randoms than I do SWF's. I dont need to hear "killers on me" to notice that the killer is chasing someone. Especially with so many potential sensory perks on the survivors.Master said:@LegitAdventurer said:

Yeah, no. If you use chat outside the game, you're basically cheating, and people don't like being cheated.
We don't know if you are until we're in the game, but most SWFs do use outside help.So why on earth should we have to roll the dice on if we're going to get cheated out of a fair game when odds are you are going to cheat us?
What's in it for us? Why should we have to put up with a difficulty spike? It's getting to the point where I have to roll the dice on if a SWF is going to be filled with #########, sweaty tryhards, and/or people using outside chat.
And don't get me started on mixed rank SWFs where you aren't even the same color in rank, and letting the higher rank prey on lower rank killers.
I'm not saying you and your homies pull the bullshit I mentioned, but too many others do to instantly have the trust of the killers that dodge you.
We care about your wait times about as much as SWF cares about the fun of a killer, and that's slim to none.
We can agree to disagree. How is chatting with your team cheating? Lol most everything in this game is discernable with or without outside chat. As someone who plays both killer and survivor, i don't have much of a differenc playing against randoms than I do playing against SWF.
And yeah sweaty tea bagging try hards are annoying to fight but oh so much more satisfying when you down and kill them. Plus, whats the point in pub stomping randoms? Id much rather get better at the game and play against talented, coordinated players. Makes the game much more fun than just, say walking all over easy noobs.
Well technically you are using a third party program (ts/discord) to gain an ingame advantage. Yeah yeah you wont get banned, but you know what we mean.. Fact is that playing against SWF usually is quite unfun, either they genrush you ala depip squad or they throw each other at the hook while clickin at you ala ochido-gang.....
At one point in the match I had the streamer on the ground with knockout. Over chat she communicated directions to a teammate to be able to come heal her.
This game is meant to be a solitary experience. A group of friends were meant to experience this together but alone, unable to communicate. Otherwise comms would be built-in.
If you refuse to acknowledge the advantage communication gives a team against a killer then there's nothing more to say since you're clearly being willfully ignorant. -
@powerbats said:
It really varies as @DarkGGhost said by rank but also time of day, is it during an event, right before or right after rank reset. Then throw in patches since everyone and their aunt and uncle is playing the new characters so it throws data out of whack. That is unless you're going for an overall aggregate and don't care about fluctuations caused by said things especially rank reset/events etc.
I figure the sample size would be so large that the variations wouldn't have much of an impact.

Being OP: Enduring -
Ok, I just saw this, where to start...
You don't have to play defensively, but if you're new to hag it might be the easiest option.
To play her aggressively, trap pallets and loops that you think they will take during a match as you cross the map looking for survivors.
If you find a survivor and you've only put down 1-3 traps, only chase them if they run towards those traps. Otherwise, ignore them and lay about 2-3 more traps then go hunting.
You can use any perks you like, but Nurse's Calling and Monitor & Abuse are probably must haves unless you're going for a different type of build like slugging, all hexes, or a basement build.
You can search YouTube for videos on Hag, I've got quite a few up and I'm sure you'll find some from other creators that'll help you out as well.
While she's among the best killers now, you will still lose to a gen rush pretty hard. There's not much you can do about it other than to get it over with and move on to the next match.
The best skill you can learn with her is to predict or remember where survivors like to go most often. Trapping those areas before you get into a chase is crucial to your success.
I have some things to get to, so that's about it for now. Good luck in your matches!
