  • I've been having instances where a survivor is further away than they should be and I swipe at air. It might not be just your trap placements.

In my case it is either good survivors or bad mechanics after the patch.
  • Remember to give them props at the end of the match. The devs do keep track of those numbers.

Also, my post was very relevant to "ranked doesn't matter"

    So it fits kiddo.

In my experience, children have short attention spans and don't pay attention to topics of conversation very well so....

but the topic was actually mentioned 10 seconds into the video.

Ranks don't matter when talking about killer viability.

Hopefully you learn how to pay attention to a topic and come up with a thoughtful response that doesn't make you look foolish in the future.

Map control and pressure we're the answers I got.

And that is why Killers like Freddy, Wraith are trash cuz they gives nothing in chase nor map wide control. It's the same with leatherface

At Rank 1 you need to tunnel to win at high ranked. You MUST tunnel and Camp at high ranked if you want to win

sure you can still win without camping, only vs non-competent survivors

This is a good example of Rank 1 game, only 1 uncommon toolbox, 3 minutes in 4 gens done, Ruin active

if you don't tunnel you'll lose, cuz survivors have 3 lives, meaning you can chase the other person, he will loop you for a good minute or 2, then all gens will be done and you will get no kills

And how does all this measure killer viability? I even talked about this situation in my video, You're going into more detail by talking about what you do to win, but you're basically agreeing with me lol

  • Accidentally double posted.

I still don't understand what you are driving at when you say killer viability. What are you trying to convey?

My understanding of "viability" in dbd is whether a killer can be threatening in a match.

I asked the same question: https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/8t5p1b/what_makes_a_killer_viable/

Map control and pressure we're the answers I got.
  • Can you tell people didn't watch your video?

    It's expected lol

All and all, a poorly constructed argument.

I guess I could have explained it better since I don't think you got what I was talking about.

I meant that it doesn't matter when specifically talking about killer viability.

If I put a video up I often hear that it doesn't count as evidence to the viability of Lisa because I wasn't at high ranks, wasn't going against high rank survivors, or they made too many mistakes.

I thought that was explained at the beginning but I guess not.

I watched like 5 minutes, what point are you trying to make? I guess you are trying to say that when someone says ''hai guise Freddy isn't crap check it out I 4k'ed'' then he shows he did it and it was Rank 20 everyone says well that's why? Is that the case you are trying to make?

Your argument is all over the place. Is what I mentioned the point you were trying to make?

  • Killer: 3k =win until the hatch situation is taken care of.
  • I made a hag guide on YouTube with the help of other hag mains. She's quite fun to play and what people are forgetting is that every killer will lose against a group of survivors intending to do objectives and get out. Even the nurse.

I play Hag because of the strategy involved, I p3'd her before her teleport stun was removed and since then she's gotten better.

Every killer is viable and every killer is dangerous if you put the time into one to learn how to play them most efficiently.

Play the killers you want to play and master them. Then ranks won't be a problem ;)

  • I guess we'll see how many of those teams have Twitch or YouTube channels...
  • Try not to spend too much time defending her totems. They're too easy to break.
Focus on catching survivors with your traps and getting them on hooks.
Leave the 3rd survivor on the ground and look for the 4th. The hatch is a free escape and you won't get the trophy when they find it.
Practice with her traps so survivors fall into them more often.

Keep trying. It took me quite awhile to finally get it...

  • Hag.

I like planning ahead and trying to outsmart other players with her traps.

  • This tier list doesn't take the varied killer playstyle into account.

BBQ and chili isn't S tier on Hag due to her limited mobility.

Hexes can be removed becoming a wasted perk slot at the beginning of the majority of matches.

There are other examples, but meh.
  • I really wanted to participate in this tournament. But since it starts at 5pm in America i have no chance to do so because it's too late in Europe :/
Doesn't matter either since all the slots got filled :/
  • The Hag can carve shapes in solid concrete... With her finger.

    That's some strength :)

This was implemented to remove the pickup vacuum. It was intended to dick over killers and they're not changing it now.

I can understand why, but it doesn't need to be as small as it is. They can find a compromise somewhere between where it is now and where it was before.

Up to perhaps 50% bonus xp if its 4 SWF.

This doesnt hurt the survivors, gives the killer an incentive to not dodge the lobby, and solves the entire problem. Why hasnt this simple solution been applied?
Extra bp does NOT make a match fun, fair, or balanced.

You obviously don't play Hag enough to understand her nuances, and even if we provided proof (which you haven't said what kind of proof you wanted) I doubt you'd even entertain it since you're just an uninformed individual talking about something he doesn't know well enough about.

    Your ignorance is forgiven.

Show me hag winning a dead by daylight tournament or hell even video a few rounds going against a team like marths depip squad. Oh right, she hasn't even appeared in any of the DBD tournaments that have been hosted. And if she were she would be stomped right out of them.

    Keep being delusional guys.

DbD tournaments are a joke. They're only for entertainment purposes since they're not actually hosted by BHVR. Let alone the fact that DbD at its core isn't designed for that kind of competition.

  • @Flimflam said:

Oh, I consider the Nurse to be stronger than Hag for sure.
I just say she's strong, and top tier too. You wanted reasons, I give you reasons. Tho feel free to keep being offensive for no reasons whatsoever I guess
    Shrugs

    Your reasons are laughable. shrugs

Try playing a hag against any remotely decent teams and see how top tier she is. Her teleport speed is too slow to counter pallet loops. she barely counters vaults, and on multiple occasions playing her I've had survs be out of sight by the time I've teleported. She's trash tier. Not to mention that if the survs have any idea of where you put your traps you can lose minutes of setup while they trigger them if you pick someone up.

As I recall, the best Nurse in the game got thrashed by "Decent Teams" during Marth's experiment. So this point is moot.

You obviously don't play Hag enough to understand her nuances, and even if we provided proof (which you haven't said what kind of proof you wanted) I doubt you'd even entertain it since you're just an uninformed individual talking about something he doesn't know well enough about.

    Your ignorance is forgiven.

The cosmetics are supposed to be a way to support the game. They are more donations than anything. And for donating you cool little cosmetics for it.

As for it being too expensive, thats just your opinion, some people wont find it too expensive. Its like any market, if people buy it then its not too expensive. If no one buys it then the price will lower.

Also, there will probably be sales once in a while where you can get skins or cells for less. If you dont want to pay as much you will have to wait for those. If you want them earlier you will have to pay the full price.
A perfectly reasonable post showcasing how little you read (or understood) of the original post.
  • I think that a rage quit and not an unintentional dc should be punished by a full drop of 5 ranks.

People who derank would only need to do so 4 times and competitive people trying to keep their rank would refrain from quitting and high rank play would be filled with people who will actually finish a match.

If a leaderboard is implemented, it can also be leveraged to curb rage quitting by giving those losses more weight than regular losses.
  • I'm almost finished with the "How to Hag" video. We're currently working on the trap strategies section, but that's Croquedead and Michi's contribution to the video. I hope it will clear some things up for you when it's finished.
