After giving it some thought, I'd say Coal Tower would be the best, at least in my opinion. Good for normal killers, stealth ones, high-mobility ones...
If I was a stealthy Killer, I'd prefer either The Game or Lery's. However, since you're asking which map would be best for *all* killers, then yeah, Coal Tower all the way. Can't see a Huntress, Deathslinger or Billy having a good time with indoor maps.
Dead Dawg Saloon is alright too, my main problem is that some survivors use stealth on that map and sometimes they get away with it. I know this because I play both sides. Don't underestimate those bushes!
-
I don't see why not.
-
My opinion is a mix of all the options, so here are my thoughts:
Yellow mori: Fine as it is.
Green mori: Agree with Otzdarva's idea.
Red mori: Agree with the current change.
Keys are next?

The Game. I think it's annoying that when there's a gen directly above or below you, you have to travel 2+ rooms from the room you're in, to find a staircase, to get to the gen. Also the bottom floor is very prone to darkness.
The Game. This person here summed up why.
It's also really annoying to hear the killer's TR for 80% of the match and not being sure if they're on a different floor or not... if it's not a stealthy one, of course.

I usually buy non-licensed characters with shards. It gives me a reason to keep on grinding those Iridescent bastards, cause I don't care too much about cosmetics.

A daily "one for each" sounds fair for everyone, including Survivor mains, Killer mains, or people who alternate between gamemodes.
I believe how some rituals works should change too, specially on Killer side.
On one hand, you have really easy ones. Like the Doctor: Hit survivors 4 times with your Shock Therapy attack. You can easily do this in the first minute of the match no problem
Then you have, well... Ghostface's: *While leaning* with your power, expose 3 (or was it 4?) survivors, and then down them before the exposed timer ends...
I mean, it's not impossible, but compare it with the Doctor's ritual. It's unnecessarily tedious! They should change it to just exposing a required number of times, and that's it. Or same ritual but only having to do it with one survivor, cause as it is right now, it's kind of a drag, and it may require several attempts depending on the survivors you're facing.

I play both sides. MoM went from broken to completely useless. What's needed here is a middle ground, in my opinion.
Currently, MoM is pretty hard to activate, also risky, and it may never activate against certain killers. There's a reason why nearly no one uses it nowadays. It's like Second Wind: Too many conditions and drawbacks to maybe activate a perk which is only useful at certain moments of a match.

Yes.

Matchmaking should take into account playtime, instead of ranks or other stuff that may not be reliable. Let's say that, if you have 150 hours, you should only be paired up with people who have between 100 and 200 hours worth of playtime. Should it happen that there's absolutely no one within that range while you search (unlikely, but still) then it should move on to the next levels (less than 100, and between 200 and 300... and so on, you get the idea).
The devs themselves said the ranks are not an actual reflect of skill level, which is partially true. You may meet a rank 2 Hillbilly who completely sucks at doing his job... or you can meet a rank 16 Huntress who demolishes the entire team before even 1 gen pops. There's no middle ground and there's no sure way of knowing. Same thing with survivors.
I'm sure there could be some ways to make matchmaking and SWF somewhat fair for both sides using this mechanic. But as of right now, matchmaking is a mess.

BT helps you win what would otherwise be lose-lose situations, if used correctly.
-
Too soon to tell. Interesting concept though.

I believe there was a similar poll to this one, talking about the "tint" of each map. And I agree that, for example, MacMillan being blue-ish kinda gave the realm its own personality.
Imo, it was *too* blue for my liking, but completely removing it wasn't what I wanted either.
Aside from tints, and maybe some performance issues, I do like the graphics overhaul in each realm so far. I just hope they all don't end up looking the same in terms of colours or ambience.

Nemesis, Mr. X, one of the Tyrants... any of those could work, specially Nemesis.
I really don't care much about FNaF. It can happen, but personally I'd prefer if it didn't.
I like Slenderman. That being said, he'll most likely never be in DbD for a number of reasons. Not just copyright reasons, or the fact that we was born from a creepypasta... I believe Slenderman's main "thing" is that you don't see him when he kills. Or when he moves. It's an entity that always has the upper hand on his victims. Seeing him walking around, hooking people, and being pallet-looped would, in my opinion, ruin Slenderman's charm. It just wouldn't work.
Of course Jason would be awesome, imo he's the only iconic killer missing from the rooster... but we all know why he's not here.
Finally, I have a soft spot for Predator, but I'm honestly not sure what I'd think about seeing him in DbD.

Because the longer the survivors take to do gens, the more chances the Killer has to sacrifice them all? Are you expecting them to avoid their main objective and purposefuly provide good opportunities for the Killer to kill the entire team?
You're questioning why survivors are doing their main objective in a game where every seconds counts. Blame/hate the game, not the player.
So in the actual state of the game, I'll quote what musefan said above: "It's the killer's job to prevent survivors doing gens. If you fail to do that in a game then you got outplayed. Simple as that."
-
As said above, it gives that realm a personality. Just like Autohaven Wreckers is kinda green, and the Coldwind Farm is kinda yellow/orange.
However, at times, I thought it was a bit TOO blue for my taste, not just "kinda". Maybe tone it down a bit, and then I'd be happy to see it back.
-
Either both of them stay, or both of them go away.
-
Never got to play that event :(

Where the hell is the Quick Draw option? The only survivor I know who would risk their life for a totem is me.
You don't actually need to grab the survivor off a totem for this one, you just need to be near them when they decide to cancel a totem interaction. I'm close to getting it and I wasn't even trying to go for it. It can be really easy if you have Undying.

Who and who?
-
Ash. Buckle up is useless. Flip Flop only works when you get slugged, and it may still be useless if there's a hook nearby. Mettle of Man... don't even get me started on that one.
A close second is Ace. Ace in the Hole is my guilty pleasure, and it has saved me a couple of times, but it's true that it's pure RNG. Also, if someone else loots chests before you, then it's useless. Up the Ante is absolute garbage. And Open Handed is just weak... not as terrible as Up the Anthony, but still, pretty bad.
Bronze goes to Steve. I really wish Second Wind was better cause I like the idea. But there are too many conditions for something that can completely backfire.
-
Visually it looks amazing. I can only fear it'll affect performance for some of us who have "decent", not "pro gaming" computers.
Also, dude... quitting the game just for that? You and me know that won't happen.
-
Pharmacy is his only decent perk. Vigil could use a tweak. And Wake Up is a very specific perk to help you *a bit* in a very specific situation, and even then, it doesn't do much of a difference.
-
If you play regularly... and specially if you play Killer, you'll still get lots of BP. With BBQ and WGLF, you just get them at a faster rate. And I'm in no hurry.
Also, I stopped using WGLF a long time ago cause it's a waste of a perk slot, even more than BBQ, cause if you have a bad match, you won't get squat... with Killers though, you always get a decent amount per match, even if it was terrible for you. Should I desperately need BP for some reason: I'll do dailies, archives missions, use offerings, play during events if possible... There are many options nowadays.
So yeah, I use BBQ for the info it gives you, so if it was solely a farming perk, I probably wouldn't equip it ever again, just like WGLF.
-
Yeah, I used it on a Pig early today and she was right behind me in no time. It's like the old Enduring all over again.
-
Funny voice.
-
Kate first option, then Feng probably.
-
Could be better. I feel like whatever he does, other Killers can do better. He's still not bad, but he's not great either.
Tho in my personal experience, he's proven to be extremely efficient at protecting Hex Totems. Playing around a Devour Hope with him can be crazy.
-
It will be back, just not anytime soon cause they need to fix the security issue with hackers and stuff. More people are now aware that the penalty is disabled so I'm seeing more DCs as of lately, and it sucks. Hopefully it won't take much time.
-
Yes and no. I think some killers look cooler with all the blood on, same as some survivors, but with others I prefer to go for a different outfit or, even the vanilla one. I also like to use prestige outfits on Killers I somewhat main, so you'll probably never see me with a bloody Nurse, Billy or Pig, among others.
-
He's really fun at loops. And he may be low tier but he's not the worst, so I keep playing as him even in high ranks. I get a 4k every now and then. His latest small buff actually helps a lot, so yeah, I personally have fun with the Gassy Boi.
-
I have only faced 3 Executioners so far. Like a million Cheryls, but no Pyramid Head.
2nd would be Pig.
-
They were reworked already. You just had to wait for the live update, remember that everything is subject to change in the PTB.
Now it decreases your chainsaw charge time for 30 seconds after being pallet-stunned.
-
If it ain't broken, don't "fix" it.
-
I like the idea. I play both Survivor and Killer and I think it's a pretty fair thing to implement.
-
Kindred for the win.
HOWEVER, if I'm at Hawkins, then I'd prefer Deja Vu. I always get lost in that damn map, and sometimes finding the last gens is a royal pain.
-
Why not... The Legion aren't exactly the most viable Killer choice, so this and maybe some other things could help a bit.
-
Cause they're in nearly every high rank game. Also because I suck and, no matter what I do, Spirits always win mind games against me when they phase.
-
Pop is the best one for slowing down gens. It rewards you for doing your job and the overall impact is pretty good.
Overcharge isn't nearly as good as Pop, but it's usually a very underestimated perk. People say that high rank survivors aaaalways hit the Overcharge skill check... well, in my personal experience, they still fail it most of the time. Mostly because they are not expecting said perk, or maybe because they're in a hurry to finish a gen, and they forget that you were running it. So yeah, I've seen red ranks blow gens like there's no tomorrow with Overcharge. Of course not as frequent as lower ranks, but hey, it works most of the time. Again, Pop is better, but combining these two could actually help you a lot with slowing down the game. Give it a try.
Ruin is a completely different perk now. The effect doesn't mean squat if Survivors commit to a gen, and if you're far away, you can kiss that one goodbye. Also, it's still a Hex, so it can be deactivated completely. It's not terrible, but Pop and Overcharge give better results imo.
-
How can I not have fun with the Doctor laughing like a madman every 10 seconds?
Survivors even scream for him so he can laugh even more. Everyone's happy! Except perhaps the ones who get sacrificed.
-
The stronger killers, or at least the ones who WERE pretty strong and/or fun were always non-licensed imo. Nurse, Billy, Spirit, Huntress, etc.
Also, to me the only classic horror icon missing is Jason, and we all know why he is not here. Any other Killer not in the game is either forgettable or comes from a very specific movie/series/game that isn't nearly as popular or well known as the rest of the Licensed Killers. Most people know Michael Myers or Freddy Krueger, and like them. Then we have Pinhead, Candyman... even that Springtrap thing? Yeah, not nearly as popular or beloved. But hey, it's all about money, so I'm not saying it wouldn't happen, just that the outcome won't have a bigger impact than having "The Shape" or "The Nightmare" in this game.
So please, I'd like to see even more non-licensed characters. I'm not saying Licensed characters should completely be scratched off the list, mind you. Just more of this, less of that.
-
What?
No. Just no. Leave BBQ alone!
-
A slugger's best friend, and also prevents flashlight/pallet saves. I believe it's pretty decent.
It can also backfire though. If a Killer becomes greedy, wanting to slug everyone, then maybe by the time he downs the 2nd survivor, the first one may have been already healed and working on a gen.
So it's pretty fair for both sides imo.
-
Yep, they're still bugged. I'm saving all of them so they don't get wasted. For now it's best to farm them in your bloodwebs and use them later on.
However, most players are not aware of this, they just keep trying to stack multiple cakes in a single match, thus wasting them all. I even had a 4-man party insulting me, the Killer, because I didn't farm with them (killed them all, btw they didn't even show signs of wanting to farm, they rushed gens like there was no tomorrow), then I told them the cakes were bugged, but they didn't believe me and kept on throwing insults. Oh well.
-
Happened to me too a few nights ago. It screwed up a potential save.
Hope this gets fixed along with the cakes and the visual bugs at the results screen.
-
I actually really like this one. I hope it does get some sort of rework.
Up the Ante could use some tweaking too.
-
I'm not sure how I feel about Medusa or any mythological creatures being in DbD.
But I would really like to see a female killer next.
-
Nah. I believe there are other perks needing more attention than Insidious. While it is mostly used by Basement Bubba and shameless campers, the perk can be used in other situations; it's just that Killers always go with the same meta perks so there's no variety or room for new strategies.
I don't think it's a great perk. But not terrible enough to need a rework, in my opinion.
-
Definitely Bond. It's always useful, just like Empathy.
-
Halloween chase music is also really good.
-
What the above person said.
Also, not a poll.
