I know I am in the minority, but I like it. It's unique. Plus, hearing the constant whooshing and ghostly moans while she's chasing you is a nice touch, though it can get annoying when you are playing her and waiting for a lobby.I think they sound a bit "cartoon-y", if that makes sense, but I like them as well.

Yeah not_queen did the voice for her. They also probably manipulated the audio recordings of it, cause it doesn't sound like her. They need to re-manipulate them.Pretty sure all Killer voice "lines" are manipulated.

As far as I know, this CM had never voiced anyone before. According to your own logic in this comment, she was therefore the best choice.

On PC they do so I assume it's just a thing on all platforms? You need to leave 80% of games to trigger a ban. It should be like 2 or 3%, with immunity to a ban when you first start out. (as a single dc would make you go under.
2-3% is absurdly small. Assuming 100 trials per month, that's 2-3 trials you can DC from, for any reason, before you get the ban hammer. Real life does not work like that. I've had to DC three times in a different game in two weeks because of unforeseen circumstances. The percentage should probably vary with the number of trials you've played.
Unforseen curcumstances you say>? Stop making excuses you disconnecting fktard
Yes, I'll just ask the mail to deliver packages when I'm not playing, my family members to hold off on their health problems (after all, what's 80-something years of age - nobody at that age has any health problems whatsoever; they were probably faking the high blood pressure and heartrate issues), and my digestive system to shut down so I don't have to take a #########, all so your games are not bothered by my real life.

"Gen camping", like "face camping", doesn't exist. Unlike "face camping", though, "gen camping" has never existed. You're meant to patrol the Survivors' objectives, it's where you're most likely to find them.

Stealth is my favorite way to play this game. But i seldom encounter a killer who doesn´t have at least 2 aura-reading perks. My last game was against a nurse with calling, b&c, Whispers and Murmur...Yeah, stealth brings you really forward in this game. The thing is: i can´t do chases very well, one of the reasons is i don´t loop. And juking only works 50% of the time, because juking is no secret unknown to killers.
So, should i just stop playing the game? Stealth is no real option against all those aura-reading perks, looping is an exploit, so what is a survivor supposed to do?
Stealth is not just hiding, juking and mindgames are part of stealth as well.

There should be a surrender option for killers and survivors.Wouldn't work for Survivors because no matter how it worked, trolling would be very possible. Requiring a majority vote means the majority can troll the minority. Requiring a unanimous vote means the minority can troll the majority. It can work for the Killer because he's the only one on his "team".

Yes, I have an idea - stop trying to dictate that Killers should not be allowed to kill Survivors and should instead play to farm points. Playing your role is not toxic and is not a problem. Killers are there to kill, period.maybe i look for some more examples, but its enough at this time. As I said, cant take you serious anymore.

You? THE hardcore Killer of all Times? the one who always say 4kill is the one and only way to be a killer? Looped for 5 gens? cant believe it. you've lost the right to be taken seriously with that! what the hell? I hope you got your 4 kill after that adrenaline kick with NOED and Bloodwarden, dont you? No? Maybe, but just....maybe you should stop a five gen loop before it would be a five gen loop and get another, weaker target, to kill even 2 or 3 survivors to get some pips and some bloodpoints and dont answer my posts with "a kilelr is there to kill (4 of course)" and sh*** like that. Really.... 5 genloop.... cant believe it.

I agree with OP, but I'll need to do further testing to be completely sure. However, I will say that if her power can't help her during a chase (I mean a chase with a heavy looper who drops a pallet and then leaves; not a chase with a Survivor who just hangs around every pallet waiting for your next move), she needs to move at 115% speed, period.

but what if killers wants to hang you? This effectively removes him points. Another survivor buff =\That's why I suggested some way to verify that the Killer has no intention of hooking anyone. Besides, Survivors already hide when they want to deny the Killer points, because they're just that vindictive. Ironically, most Killers just care about kills, so the fact that they're not going for the hatch is a godsend to people like that.

I assume you are playing low ranks. On high ranks, I see the killer chasing someone, I do peacefully gens. No pressure, no alert, just holding m1 and pressing occasionally space.This. I've had Survivors repair a generator right next to me while I was carrying one of them to the hook, because they know I can't do anything about it. Dropping the one I'm carrying takes too long, I can't hit them or they'll wiggle out, and with so many LOS blockers (Pale Rose map), they'd be gone by the time I actually hooked the one I had. It's yet another feature that puts the power in the Survivors' hands.
Ironically the game is more fun on low ranks. When survivors don´t really know what to do. I die way more often on low ranks than on high ranks. But it´s more fun. Since the game isn´t over in 4 minutes.
That was rank 15.
We just had a rank reset. The first week after rank reset is still mixed up with high ranks.
Or they deranked. Anyway, the Spirit's "counter" is quite simple: jungle gyms and always sprinting. She can't catch what she can't see, and she can't mind game people who know exactly when she's using her power.

The pallet looping is mind boggling. I'm fairly new to the game and wanted to know how long the looping has been like this. It provides for the most boring gameplay and I couldn't see any developer thinking that it was acceptable. Could you imagine watching a horror movie where the survivor ran in a circle over and over? The higher the rank, the worse its gotten. In addition, what kind of chase is expected to last almost a minute?
I am not really sure what it is your are asking/telling us? The game does not have many mechanics to it. Survivors complete generators and try to escape from the killer when needed. There is nothing else to really do. So pallets and looping are part of the way really the only way that survivors can escape.
So in theory yes, I guess the devs programmed it that way. It has been that way since Day 1. It has gotten quite a bit better with new placements of pallets and closing off certain windows.
What OP is talking about is the difference of survivor and killer hit boxes. Killers are supposed to be faster than survivor, but because survivors can hug an obstacle closer than the killer, they force the killer to be slower during the loop.
This has been introduced in 1.4 IIRC.
A skilled survivor can loop the killer for 5 gens. Which wasn´t exactly what the devs had in mind, but since the devs play on yellow ranks, they don´t really see the problem. They should play against the last team I had yesterday. One Meg looped me for five generators on rank 15. I managed to down her once, misjudged the orientation of the hill, got body blocked until she wiggled free. The voice is actually one of the Community Managers and has worked directly with the dev team. It's not "nepotism" so much as it is "she's an employee of sorts". They're not gonna hire voice actors from outside the team.

Well lobbies are worse than normal due to all the killers dodging even more than normal even with no items or p3 Claudettes.
Share with me those lobbies where you don't have claudettes.
I had one full of Megs and got looped until 5 generators were completed by one of them. The Spirit is so slow that if you just keep running and walk when she uses her power, she'll never catch you.

If you find a generator that's been partially repaired, do you try to fix that one or do you try to find one that's at 0%? If you couldn't find one at 0%, would you then go for the generator that will take the longest amount of time to repair? "Tunneling" is just plain common sense - you go for the weakest link.
DS, while annoying, is still a perk. It rewards Survivors for failure, making it a crutch perk like their entire stale meta, but it's a perk, it's there to be used. Don't chastise bad Survivors for needing crutch perks; we all need crutches when we're bad at the game.
-
Don't wait next to the pallet or unequip Self Care until this changes. That's my advice.
-
@S0ckenSchuss said:
The problem is not the survivor looping around an obstacle over and over again, the problem is that the killer always is running behind him/her to get him and hang him.with some more experience (you said you are new in the game) you will see that stopping a chase and go to next gen/weaker survivor will be more succesful. the palletlooper will ran into your weapon later. and even if not, you have two or three others sacrificed. just thinkl about this words. its not your "goal" to kill all 4. two or three are acceptable and bring you pips and bloodpoints as well.
And then there are people like this, who defend the idea that a Survivor should be able to put the Killer in a situation where the Survivor has all the power, that the Killer is not there to Kill, and so on.
-
Do you have any idea how much longer that would make lobbies? Keep in mind that offerings have already been destroyed by that point, and given how often Survivors DC because they don't like the Killer they're facing, it would essentially make it so players who wanted to use strong Killers would never get a lobby.

I still want to have an invisible attack for him. Pure add on changes are not going to fix a killer.I've said before and I'll say it again - the Wraith just needs to be able to attack out of stealth, with a relatively long stun. That one change alone would make him top-tier.
