The new sound effects would be fitting for a 12 year old zombie boy with a sore throat.
I really liked the effects during the PTB. It sounded like she´s suffering. Now the only one who´s suffering is the player
I haven't heard them yet. I'm waiting for my stream to make it a surprise.

That's the point of her whole design - mindgaming.

LOL.Did you not see the rubble surrounding the hook? That person refuses to even explain the layout of the map any further. Like you, they resort to mocking and insults instead of coming back with an actual argument. I'm saying what it looks like to me because I wasn't on that map. That person was, yet they refuse to give me a better picture of it.

I can verify one map that's true auto haven near the boulders and shack theres three hooks in a row not in direct site and theres pallet drops but having to walk to each and everyone of them can be a pain you have to down them fast and have nc so they don't get off and heal going fir a unhook (I got like 2 kills hooking unhooked and new hooks in a row) before they stopped swarming me for the hook saves but another issue the insane asylum's church map you have 3gens spawn in a direct row caravan next to the horse out in the open near it and last one is behind the small corner wall next to the one out in the open if survivors are a good team 1 2 3 gens done very fast but if they neglect them like a team I killed last night boom people will die incredibly fast from killer patrolling in a line I know because I got 2 kills doing that last night and some salty survivor went and said I was camping the gen ot was 3 in a line constantly checking each gen and caught them at the same one 3 times heck even the other two player's was on my side saying I wasn't camping because I left 2-3 mins between each check if the caravan and corner gen one on the open to was to be seen at (though I want to state even if I know somebody no easy games for them in fact I would target my friend and make a party chat to mind game them its hilarious for a good game like two of them kept going how do you not see me behind you complete mind game on my side I set up my hex totem that was right out in the open as a trap most of the game they avoided that area including 2 gens so I wouldn't kill them it was the most fun I've had realize two friends on alt accounts was in my match or mind gaming the other by calling out there alt name character get up and item in the map and them realising there up against the same guy that in a friendly kyf game took out iridescent heads and ebony Mori I dont play nice with my friends for fun imaging how bad I go at them in ranked gamesPunctuation and paragraphs, please.

Yep, you're right. Because you can never be wrong. You win.Literally all you had to do was explain that area's layout a little more to prove me wrong, since the picture is obscured by fog. I'm not saying I'm right, I'm saying that's what it looks like to me. You could very easily disprove it, but instead you went for insults. Right now all I can conclude is that you know you're wrong, but you're trying to save face by pretending I'm the one at fault.

I'd make it so the only way a generator can regress beyond a certain stage would be through a Killer interaction. If anything, I'm giving the Survivors a good way to secure generator repairs.
I get what you are saying, i'm just not sure if it doesn't change the entire game flow. I have zero problem adapting and as killer it will feel like a vacation. I really believe this would hurt the fun factor/replay value. I keep saying it but feel generators are not the way to go. Stations around the map similar to what the pig has with a 60s interaction for the bonus might. The other trigger would be once all generators are powered the boxes become null and void. I think that was the idea behind the pig and the RBT but people popped generators anyway. If you have people trying to bang out these stations first you are adding several minutes to the game by default.
Bonuses are not good enough. You get BP by sabotaging hooks and breaking totems too, but few people do either for the BP. It's either to prevent NOED from triggering, or they 99% hooks to break them in the Killer's face.
If a new mechanic is to be created to help with gen rush, it needs to be tied into the escape mechanic. No two ways about it.

You're dismissing mine though...? Please don't be hypocritical. Wiggling free was not an option, you must not play Survivor very much to think that wiggling free that close to a hooked person is possible LOL. Even with Boil Over that's not even probable. Its like you're not even examining the screenshot at all.I'm looking at it, seems like the hook is surrounded by rubble, thus increasing the required travel time. Maybe you know different because you were actually in the trial, but then you haven't said anything to indicate the rubble isn't all surrounding the hook.
EDIT: For the record, all I'm dismissing is your dismissal of my criticism. Don't call me a hypocrite when you try to mock and ridicule me for not knowing a randomized map that only one of us played on.

I think they need to make the generator repair more dynamic. Something to start the repairs, something else to repair past a certain percentage, and so on. Basically divide the repairs into stages and have Survivors search for stuff to continue the repairs.
I have seen people suggest that before, my problem is perks like hex ruin, thantaphobia and dying light on top of a potential hatch end game scenario. You are giving killers lots of outs and chances to camp and be rewarded by that. I wonder how the replay value would suffer from something like that.
I'd make it so the only way a generator can regress beyond a certain stage would be through a Killer interaction. If anything, I'm giving the Survivors a good way to secure generator repairs.
-
5, with the Killer being unable to regress them beyond the current stage unless it was at the beginning of the stage (0% progression) and the Killer interacted with the generator at that point. Some Killer perks should be changed to match this change in mechanics (namely, Tinkerer, Pop Goes The Weasel, and the other one that shows regressing generators' auras whose name I can't recall). Also, they wouldn't be "minigames", but literally going out to find items for generator repair. I'm thinking something akin to the golden toolboxes on Lampkin Lane.

Lol its literally meters away from me. Of course from my TV it would look way better but it was very close. I got tunneled right after being saved. Please stop playing naive. My point wasn't HOW MANY meters in distance, but that hooks are too close period. Don't take your frustration out on me just because the OP gave you a number you don't agree with.Don't dismiss my criticism just because you don't agree with my PoV. As far as I can tell from that screenshot, that hook is far enough away that if the Killer tried to put you on it, you'd have a decent chance at wiggling free.

Nerfing gen speed won't do any good. Doing generators is boring to begin with. The devs need to add additional objectives, but I shudder to think what introducing new interactions could do to the spaghetti code.
Please add another objective not for blood points maybe to increase XP gained for the match.
Hey, don't ask me. I'm not a dev.
No, it wasn't for you to implement but rather agreeing with you a side objective, not emblem or survival based would and should be welcomed by the community. Since the shard grind is always a topic, something to reward 5/10/15/20 5 more xp in the match. Maybe lighting some totem or something in the match. something that takes a 60s uninterrupted. Just spit balling.
I think they need to make the generator repair more dynamic. Something to start the repairs, something else to repair past a certain percentage, and so on. Basically divide the repairs into stages and have Survivors search for stuff to continue the repairs.

I'm assuming you mean the hook on the far right, several meters away behind some rubble? Don't make me do math to show why hook spawns are fine (bugs notwithstanding).

Survivors doing the objective is just OP..... Maybe suggest 2 survivors start the trial injured 1 stuck in place(unable to move during the trial) and 2 on the hook in struggle and no generators can be completed for several minutes would that help?Oh see, we found the survivor main.^^
No, you are right of course… everything is well balanced at the moment and any nerf to gen speed is totally biased killer crybaby mains.
3 gens done on the first hook is completely fine, right?
All these killer player that want to actually KILL someone are out of their mind.
They must be real life psychos that need to be put into their place.
Weirdos… this game should be about all players having fun, right?
And by "all" I mean of course "all survivor"... because "fun" is only for player that do not enjoy playing monster.

Try to get used to her first. While I do agree that her power hurts her more than it helps her, I'm holding off on saying so until I've had a long time to play her, to see if I'm right or not.

Well like I said, I can try to get screenshots for you later. I'm not saying its 5 meters, but they're close enough to defeat the purpose of wiggling. It literally gives the wiggle bar a sense of being absolutely useless.Yes, please get screenshots of hooks, but if they're not 5 meters apart (give or take another meter, because eyeballing it is not a reliable way to measure), OP's story crumbles into dust.
Wiggling is there to put pressure on the Killer to hook you ASAP instead of going for the most favorable location each time (i.e.: the basement). It's not there to prevent hooking altogether.
-
@Michiko said:
Hate to disagree with you, but this is a problem. I play huntress and have no problem getting to a hook fairly close to someone else I've just hooked (on certain maps.) Why do you think tunneling is so common? Literally all a killer has to do is hook the second person, turn back around and chase the unhooked survivor back down which happens everytime I play survivor (whether its to me or the person I saved.) I can try to catch some screenshots for you.Yes, hooks have been distributed in a fairly homogeneous manner throughout the maps to prevent so-called "dead zones", places where it's mathematically impossible for the Killer to hook someone. However, I've yet to see hooks spawn 5 meters from each other even once. As I mentioned, the closest two I saw were still far enough away that I almost wiggled free.
@PinkEricka @Usui, are either of you gonna take me up on my KYF offer, or are you playing on console?

Said the killer....I play 50/50, but anyone with common sense knows that new mechanics take more than a few hours to get used to. What's your next excuse? My name doesn't contain any of the same letters as yours?
-
@Gemasuda said:
It’s easy to say it’s the players fault. I’m only speaking of my experience. This is only random ques, not grouping etc etc. The hook is not a buff, it’s to fix blatant tunnelling. Geez thanks! It is the player's fault because you're not used to playing against the Spirit. Learn what works and what doesn't before you claim Survivors have been nerfed with the introduction of a new Killer.
It's a buff. There's no such thing as tunneling; one Survivor is injured and closer to death, the other is not. It's basic common sense to go after the injured one.

That was no meme. I've seen 3 hooks setup with people all on 3 hooks so the killer legit can just stand in the middle and camp for a win. There are FAR to many hooks right now, and it's been a huge issue for a long time, there's practically no reason to even wiggle, and don't get me started on perks like boil over.If the Killer managed to hook three different people on three different hooks, he deserves the win.
EDIT: Oh, and if you think wiggling is useless, please stop doing it. Killers everywhere will thank you for it.
Nice job avoiding what I actually said. It's not about 3 people being hooked it's about HOOK PLACEMENTS AND RANGE APART, ALSO FAR TO MANY HOOKS. Wouldn't matter to someone rocking a nurse portrait anyways, be gone.
He does that a lot. Just get use to it.
Sure, just ignore every other comment that I have addressing the subject. I guess I'd better get used to that from you two.

So basically, about half the maps. It's amazing I've never run into this problem before, you two must be really unlucky. Hell, on Mother's Dwelling I've had Survivors wiggle free because the hooks were just too far apart. Still, I'll keep an eye out. If either of you are on PC, we can always check it in KYF.

I don’t screenshot things unless they are interesting nor do I record my gameplay. Play as survivor a few times and take a look around, I’m sure you’ll spot it. It’s also map specific.Which maps? I've found hooks relatively close together, but never 5 meters apart, no matter the map or the role. The two that I found that were closest to each other had enough distance between them for me to almost completely wiggle free (I sabotaged one).

Yeah, because you're not used to playing against the new Killer. Looping wouldn't have helped there either. As for healing, I see no changes in the patch. Are you sure you're not just missing skill checks?

I think that I read from the software info itself that it doesn't really touch the anticheats and neither it probably interferes with the game process itself; I remember that I also read that the blocking feature had been removed, but I also heard a famous streamer, Morf_UK, saying that it's actually still a thing.
It's probably just stuff about your network, but of course actually the blocking feature should have something to do with Steam/DBD.The game has a built-in ping indicator, and you really shouldn't be blocking people anyway, for obvious reasons. Why, exactly, do you need MLGA so bad that you'd be willing to risk a permanent ban?

It's not often I find Survivors who were left injuried and not on a hook. Also WMI lasts for ages after an unhook. I'll still try Autodidact out, but they think they went a little too far on the nerf.Lasts for 90 seconds. However, since both perks are situational, you do well to pick whichever you feel is best given your average trials.
-
Well, it's made by a third party, and it is software. I'd say it qualifies. It's "use at your own risk", meaning that if it triggers EAC, you're perma-banned, and there's nothing the devs can do about it.
