If they got they easy 4K that they want they wouldn't be bitching about every survivor perk and strategy. Of course they don't want to say it out loud but that's what they want. This argument can be reversed to point to Survivors, so maybe you should judge each idea on their own merit instead of trying to develop psychic powers?

@Vietfox said:
Ofc not, no one says that out loud, but some ideas proposed in this forum would turn almost every match into a 4K match.Or force Survivors to play better. Depip squad proved that if Survivors play perfectly, Killers lose. This means that there's a lot of room for improvement on the Survivors' side, in terms of how they play.

The crutch perkers and The NOEDS may get their panties in a bunch. I'm currently going back and forth with one of their leaders. They don't want survivors able to look around them when on the hook, breaking totems, fixing generators, searching a chest etc....I honestly think my issue with the Mains on this forum is without an easy 4k game they will never be happy.I play both sides equally and use NOED on exactly one Killer (though I'm thinking about removing it in favor of a different perk). Maybe the problem is you.
PS: I'm flattered you consider me a leader, but I'm nothing of the sort.

No, I just want Hope to have something else besides a speed increase because it feels underwhelming to use. I'm just throwing some ideas around and it was just a thought in my head. However maybe a 10% speed increase for a minute instead of a 7% speed for two minutes? You can buff NOED to 10% if that you wanna balance it out!
10% would make the Hag and Huntress worthless.

I find it easier toget ranks as a killer. Most games as the killer I double pip, whereas a survivor I struggle to get a pip, mainly I am fighting not to depip. And yes all chainsaw welders should get a debuff. They both for starters shouldn't go so far, the distance I can close with them is silly. I don't even need to aim, just rev go and shoot. Plus they should have the equalivant of a pallet stun after using the chainsaw. It should be a tactical use ability designed to punish survivors who corner themselves.
Alright, it's a troll. There's two "chainsaw wielders" (spelling error fixed), and only one can actually travel far with it. This person either does not own the game or has never played Killer.

Maybe increase it to 9 percent and to all teammates within 32 meters of the exit gates? It needs something to make it a little more usefulIt's already plenty useful. The problem is that Survivors either stick to their stale meta or are unaware of how massive a 7% speed increase really is.

Feels very gimmicky. I'd just increase Hope's speed boost really. That tiny bit of extra speed really isn't helpful.
Another option could maybe be to make Hope grant a Vigil effect, or increased action speed for Self Care and the likes. That "tiny bit" is 70% of the speed difference between slow Killers (Hag, Huntress) and Survivors, and about 47% of the speed difference between normal Killers (not Hag, Huntress, or Nurse) and Survivors. It's an enormous boost already.
OP, I think your idea is broken. 1-2 minutes of requiring 3 hits when the Survivors have almost won is absurd.

@xmenfanatic The basement is likely directly adjacent to the Entity in the spirit world. It is my strong belief that the basement is not an actual part of the realm but rather a doorway to the Entity's realm as it is always moving around.@xxaggieboyxx As for lore forget Benedict Baker, he's a simpleton compared to Vigo. Vigo is mentioned throughout the game as a whole and is highly speculated to be the creator of the hatch. Vigo is also the original owner of the first "Engineer's toolbox". On the store page to purchase Auric Cells, there is another Vigo quote where they comment on the purpose of Auric Cells, something that Vigo can definitely be connected with as:
- They most definitely created the hatch.
- Their 1st offering lets you decide where to spawn in the trial/generate your Auric Cells into the husk of a survivor.
- Their other offering affects luck and makes you question if Vigo made the lips with cells, took them from survivors, or took them from killers?
The Entity is everything. She's the ground you step on, the trees and rocks you hide behind, the hooks you get skewered on, the air you breathe, the rain, the snow, the walls, the basement, everything.
-
I don't like the idea that their perks essentially cancel each other out, and Vigo's third perk (Savior) just sounds like a slightly different (arguably better) WGLF.
Entity's Scorn is just terrible, period. 5 tokens, with a 0.2% increase on each, means your lunge would increase by 1%, which is a completely irrelevant difference. The lunge at max speed is 6 meters, meaning it'd be increased by 6 centimeters. -
You could've said you were just trolling, save us both some time.

I'm sorry you can't do two things at once. Can you type and look away at the same time?To be clear: neuroscience found that people just switch between two tasks very quickly, so what might seem as doing two things at once to you actually isn't. Furthermore, a comparable example would be typing with both hands while also using both hands to clean your desk. You can't repair a generator (something that requires you to look at what you're doing) while also turning your back to it.

No we should be able just like in real life look around us.
Humans can't rotate their neck 360º, and certainly not while they're trying to repair a generator.
Next time i'm fixing a generator(in real life) i will try. I do fix hardware on computers daily and can turn around. Most people can do two things at once.
No, most people can stop one task and start/resume another one. Nobody can do two things at once, especially when both require the use of the same organs (eyes, in this case).

That message is to appease people who think nothing's being done unless they get a message saying something's being done; it doesn't actually mean they did anything.

No, I don't mean it should grant a free escape any time, but I'd say a slight buff is in order. Why do you think it needs a buff? Mentioning that you've never escaped with it just makes it look like you think it should guarantee an escape.
No. "Free escape every time", you said, that's a 100%. I wouldn't want that, would be unbalanced obviously. I said I NEVER, not once managed to wiggle out because of Boil Over, not even when killer wasn't running Iron Grasp or Agitation. That's 0%. Maybe others have different opinions, I'm open to that, but from what I've seen, in its current state it's a rather useless perk unfortunately.
Possibly, for very inexperienced killers, the effect that prevents them from seeing nearby hook auras may be a problem, but I don't think that's a real issue over, say, 10 hours of gameplay.I ask you again, why do you think it needs a buff? We already have a "free escape" perk, it's called Decisive Strike. Boil Over can be useful under certain circumstances, but it's not supposed to guarantee a free escape by itself.
I'm sorry, I can't put it in more simple words.
You say you think it needs a buff, but not because it doesn't guarantee a free escape. However, all you can say is that you've never escaped with its effects (something it's not supposed to do in the first place). It's not that you can't put it simply, it's that the way you're putting it contradicts what you claim you're not trying to say.
You really cannot see anything between ALWAYS and NEVER? If it helps you escape, say, 20% of the time, then it's worth a perk slot. I keep repeating, I'm not talking about a "free escape", like a DS that can be used infinite times.
But I can try another approach: how many survivors do you see running it? Maybe 2%? And how many rank 5-1 players? Like, 0,5%?It can help you escape 20% of the time, if you use it properly and get lucky. You need to lead the chase to a place you know is far from hooks (either because they were used or otherwise destroyed), and hope you get lucky with how the Killer sways or that your team blocks the Killer for you. It's a situational perk, which is why it's considered bad.
Most perks that Survivors use (their stale meta, for instance) need to have massive, instantaneous benefits or they're deemed "useless". Boil Over requires preparation, thought, and has a relatively high chance of failure except under ideal circumstances, so it's automatically "trash tier". It doesn't need a buff; Survivors just need to be mindful of how to use it.I do see it from time to time, but mind that I'm playing at low rank. I'd guess something like 5%, but then I'm not very good at estimating from memory, so take that with a grain of salt.
Well ok, I guess I agree with the argument that it's situational. On the rare occasion I run Saboteur I may consider using it. May even be better than one time use perks, DS or Unbreakable. Maybe I'll try it one day.
Anyhow, I think I get yout point: having a precious handful of all-around perks on both sides which you basically HAVE TO run if you want to play effectively is killing diversity. That's why I'm sticking to low ranks as best as I can (no deranking). I can play fun builds instead of having only a handful of perks to choose from.

Vote kick, if it could only be initiated by the Killer, might work to kick out high ping Survivors, since Killers can't communicate with Survivors, but no one player should have the ability to remove another one from the lobby.

Vocal Survivors will often say anything that does not guarantee a free unhook is "camping", and will often attempt to berate the Killer in any way they can to play in the least efficient way possible. If you're not hacking or exploiting, you're in the clear.
