If you always get a 3k and in 80% of your matches even a 4k with Freddy at rank 1 and not even use your perks, you are better than every streamer I know. You should start streaming yourself, you'll attract a huge viewership with these skills!
-
I don't see a reason why he shouldn't stay at 115%.
@Meme With all the other changes done to him, I think the aura reading will go.
-
-
BBQ used to be stronger. Nowadays, a lot of survivors are hiding from BBQ. I wouldn't run this perk if it wouldn't give bonus bloodpoints.
If you'd like to see some additional bonus to WGLF "in terms of fairness", can you think of a bonus that could be useful but that at the same time can be easily countered by the killer and made useless?
-
Keep in mind that the devs only have one week to buff Ghostface. And he would need a rework, not some slight tweaks. I don't see how this would be doable til release date.
-
Well, a 43% survival rate is pretty good if you take a look at the insane amount of dc's.
Or were matches with any kind of dc's excluded from the statistics?
-
Good ideas, well done!
-
> survivors want to create Super Mist to make the game unplayable for the killer
> "killer's bad sportsmanship"
To be clear: I'm not defending dc's at all. But this lack of self-reflection is remarkable.

Imagine if the survivors could burn Wraith once they'll spotted him in invisibility lmao
@Ihatelife Without a flashlight, just by looking at him angrily? lol I think we just created a new game mechanic here. /s
-
This SWF group seems to think they can create Super Mist by bringing this offering 4 times. If this would work (spoiler: it doesn't), it would be totally ruining the killer's game. What is the reasoning behind wanting to give the opponent no fair chance and to ruin their game experience?
-
The problem lies within his core ability. The survivors can cancel his power by spotting him. His power is pretty much worthless and leaves him as a 115% speed M1 killer without special ability.
His power needs to get changed.

@DoubleTap said:
So many unhappy people. I doubt they'll let Ghostface go live without a considerable re-balance so all good.
@DoubleTap A few quick adjustments won't really help Ghostface, I'm afraid. This guy needs a rework. The devs don't have enough time for that, if he is going to be released June 18th.

@Skittlesthehusky "who's to say that they aren't fixing bugs in the background"
Those who play this game a lot know how long certain issues have been existing. We just keep encoutering them in our matches.
That doesn't mean that the devs aren't fixing bugs at all. Of course they fix a lot of bugs.
The problem here is the priority. If a game is in a good state of health, then you have the time to implement and try something like this visual effect. Ressources are limited and should be used wisely.
-
@Skittlesthehusky Nobody likes this new visual effect. A lot of people even hate it and are getting sick watching it.
Players are angry because the devs spend ressources on creating a very bad effect that nobody asked for, instead of using their ressources for dealing with existing issues.

@weirdkid5 said:
Uhm, you do realize the Broken status effect keeps the Survivor from being healed, right?
This means if they are using No Mither, or get hit one of the various addons that cause the Broken status, then you can't heal them.
This probably isn't a bug fam.
@weirdkid5 This no-heal-bug definitely exists. I've experienced it several times myself. Really, really gamebreaking if the killer decides to slug somebody instead of hooking them.
-
I've already made a thread about this issue. If you like to, you can take a look at it here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/66505/ptb-new-stun-vfx-for-killers-when-hit-by-pallets
Bottom line: Nobody likes the new visual effect.
As @AChaoticKiller said, we know that we got stunned. We don't need an additional effect.

@NoShinyPony well goddamn. Apparently I have become one of those arseholes who don't bother reading more than the first sentence of the OP. Embarrassing.
@George_Soros It happens to the best of us. ^^
-
@weirdkid5 True.
-
@weirdkid5 @poopman Guys, the op clearly made a joke...
-
Correct, there is no new map this time. Two new maps and two map reworks are scheduled for year 4.
-
@Ihatelife You predicted that right. After Freddy gets his rework, Ghostface will be the weakest one. He would need some drastic changes.
-
Why are some maps hated more than others? Because they are unbalanced and cause fps drops. So the solution would be to fix these maps.
Also I see the option to block maps as a problem for matchmaking.
-
@ShyN3ko When I run Enduring + Spirit Fury on my average M1 killer, I get stunned more often in a lot of matches.
-
@George_Soros said:
I'm tunneling as much as possible already, so the answer is no. Tunneling is great.
@George_Soros I wouldn't say it's great, but I see how it's necessary with how fast gens are done. (We need a 2nd objective for survivors!)
-
If you want to avoid MoM, you go for tunneling the unhooked survivor.
Regarding your suggestion: Gaining tokens for pallet stuns is too easy.
-
I don't see why this buff would be necessary. Unbreakable was fine.
-
Against a very good Nurse, the best thing you can do is to be stealthy and try your best to not get found. If she wastes too much time not finding anybody, you have a chance if you get gens done fast enough.

We weren't talking about body blocking. Because that's a whole different story.
If the survivor is locked in a spot by the killer or other survivors, he should be able to pass that obstacle once the crow appears.
@Tsulan It's comparable in the regards of griefing/ruining the match for another player. You don't have to do it several matches, it's bad enough if you do it extensively in one single match.

Reading your post game chat seems like you like to push for D/Cs and rub it in as well. You even got salty when the one guy escaped.
Survivors disconnecting right and left is obnoxious. But Killers need to realize maybe there is a element of enjoyment or actual fun missing for Survivors that is also causing this. Though what is to be expected from a community that thrives on "watch me be a sweaty/toxic Survivor/Killer" videos. :/
@VexTheHex "Survivors disconnecting right and left is obnoxious. But Killers need to realize maybe there is a element of enjoyment or actual fun missing for Survivors that is also causing this."
Of course those survivors who are dc'ing are doing it because they don't have fun in their particular match. Getting downed for the first time? Facing a killer they don't like? "No fun, so dc."
"No fun" is no justification for a dc. In most matches, one side will lose. And losing usually isn't fun for players. Having people dc'ing in the majority of matches is hurting this game immensely.
-
@moonlunn A map shouldn't give one side a big advantage, a map should be balanced.
Also: Which maps do you consider killer sided?
-
@Tsulan It's not necessary for it to be done several matches to be considered griefing. The amount of times in a trial is also relevant.
(Bodyblocking a survivor in a corner for 15 minutes is also bannable when you do it in one single match, it's not required to be done in several matches before it is considered a bannable offense.)
-
@thrawn3054 As long as these areas are only beneficial for lore and remain a dead zone gameplay-wise, sure. Anyway, the map design team probably doesn't have time for something like this. I'd be already happy if the next map would be balanced for a change.
-
110% for Huntress is a problem when she doesn't have hatchets anymore since it basically means she has to abandon the chase to go reload. (Chasing a survivor with 110% speed without special ability is a nightmare.)
For the other cases, 110% speed is okay.

Griefing, yes. Hostage taking, no.
@Carpemortum I mentioned it since you made it sound like it wouldn't be a bannable offense to do something like that.
-
@thrawn3054 So basically a map like Coal Tower, but with additional wasteland/dead zone all around the edge of the map? It would make more sense just to make a map like Coal Tower.
-
@jackkn12 More ban waves would help. Also apparently we need a lower threshold.
From a technical point of view, there is no reason not to take action now.
-
Doc needs to get buffed, just like a lot of other killers. Increasing the range of his shock would be a great start.
-
@thrawn3054 The size is definitly an issue. If you play a killer without good mobility, you have no chance patroling gens on Red Forest, for example.
-
@Carpemortum said:
If there is an end possible, it's not hostage.
You could drop and down them 100 times. It may be frowned on, but its not holding the game hostage as, eventually, they will die.
@Carpemortum If it's such an extreme number, it would be griefing.
-
Currently, there are also cases where exit gates spawn with such a big distance to each other that the killer has no chance patroling.
We need a min/max distance for exit gates, so that both killer and survivor have a fair chance.
-
As @CallMeSpidey said, take Ruin instead of NOED.
Depending on your strategy and whether you need bloodpoints, you could also take Make Your Choice instead of BBQ.
-
I'm addicted to that game, so the possibility to play it while on the toilet...
In all seriousness: Probably not. I play DbD a lot and have to draw the line somewhere.
-
The offering screen should be completely removed. Some players dc for all different "reasons", so nothing should be shown.
-
@Mochan That would be a completely different game with a different target audience from what it is now. My guess is that DbD would be a less successful game then. Personally, I probably wouldn't play that game. I love chases.

@Condorloco_26 What if you downed the 'unhooker' right after they unhooked with an instadown killer like Billy and instantly downed the 'unhooked' from some instacooldown.
Then you hook the 'unhooker' and then the 'unhookeds' DS is gone because of your nerf idea? You tunnelled him and exploited a way to remove his second chance.
Your idea would work and I would have agreed with if it, if it wasn't so abusable.
@Poweas If that happens, the unhooker has yolo saved without Borrowed Time.
And you could say that the condition for deactivating DS (before 60 seconds are over) are downing + hooking another surv before the DS user gets downed.
-
@Andreyu44 Against an optimal SWF group, Nurse is the only option. If the group makes some mistakes or doesn't bring all the strong stuff (MoMs, insta-heals etc.), you have a chance with Billy or Spirit. But you know that.
(Thanks for letting me know about the PSN name change.)
-
@Andreyu44 At least the devs said MoM is getting changed. I hope it happens soon...
And with Clown, you are going to lose against those kind of gen rush groups even when you tunnel. We really need a 2nd objective for survs...
-
Close the post game chat. It's the best for most people.
-
So what kind of accusations are your random teammates making? That you don't do enough unhooks (fast enough)? That you don't do enough gens? If it's just random insults, ignore or report them.
