Here is my guide to save as many bloodpoints as possible while also completing the archives.
Red Line = Collect
Yellow Circle = Save
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/LAV4IMVE8ND4/sketch-1624461445420.png
I'm not confident on this path tbh. I wouldn't be shocked if there is a better path. If someone finds it let me know. This saves about 480,000 bloodpoints.
I'm going to be honest I'm not going to be following my path this week. I've already reached tier 70 so instead I'm not going to do any challenges till the start of the event next Thursday. If you don't complete the challenges like me till the event there is 1,035,000 bloodpoints here.
I still did this week's path because some people may not have completed the rift yet or they maybe just prefer to save bloodpoints for new chapters.
sorry!!! I don't understand what you mean by "save blood points!"

the last game tonight was very good! I state that I play only as a survivor! a killer, the clown, very strong! it was a close match, all the survivors helped each other and the killer was very good at avoiding the loops! in the end, I was the last one! after a couple of pallets ... he hooked me! I congratulated the killer! he thanked me and wrote me that they usually insult him, and that having received compliments made him happy and brought him back to playing! it was very nice!

30 minutes without being able to find a match as a survivor

Why all what I need as Killer is just commune with pedestal and then I can leave to the bathroom or take a snack, just wait when Survivors leave the match.
But as Survivor, I need to find pedestal, under pressure do all gens, help others, co-op and then pray for escape to receive my Crown.
This is little bit unfair in my opinion.

It's referring to PC controls first of all because w is forward on there, so me being on console I just call it "holding forward" sometimes. But holding W basically means as survivor you don't attempt to loop or misdirect the killer or anything. You just run forward, killer catches up, get a sprint burst from getting hit, hold forward some more, and by the time the killer downs you and hooks you, you've wasted like 40-50 seconds of their time, which could be like 2 or 3 gens if your teammates are doing them. That's holding w hardcore though. What I would do for example is hold forward until the killer catches up to me, and then start looping at a the jungle gym or whatever is there. Or if the killer thinks I'm gonna stop at the loop and loop there, I can keep running and he might think I'm still there.
Sometimes it's on the killer though. If you know the survivor is holding forward and you're gonna take a while to catch up to them, maybe don't even chase them. If all 4 survivors are doing this though, there's nothing really you can do.
the thing that amuses me the most are the loops ... I run forward until I find a pallet! Thank you for the explanation!

I still can't believe the OG killer of DBD with a not so original design (Jason Voorhees) but a cool power is still potentially the worst killer in the game.
We all know license killers bring most of the players but most of them have been tweaked and buffed except Myers who's still trash, it just makes me wonder how Trapper has not gotten any real buff to make his more efficient, I mean it's not like his power is overpowered when we have Hag or Nurse who can literally teleport and get survivors.
A lot of his add-ons should have been part of his base kit, why can't he get traps from lockers like Huntress? I don't really know how to balance him but he desperately needs a rework or a buff of some sort because BEhaviour is really doing Trapper dirty and it's telling a lot about how they treat the OG killers
By the way, they need to nerf Nurse again. Her lunge's hitbox is still too damn big!
the killers op, can be used by everyone. if you are a strong player, I assure you that the trapper is very strong .... if you are a poor player, use the nurse and the Spirit!

The grind is better than it used to be, looping isnt even what this game is supposed to be about, 'hold W' is just an argument spat about from a content creator and everyone just regurgitates because they arent good enough at the game.
I don't understand what it means: "hold w"
-
@danielmaster87 said:
There's like 2 killers that are unloopable. It does feel like the same game, just evolved. Holding W is something survivors could have done all along, but now it's just coming to light how much time it wastes even though it's a simple tactic. The way you say it though, you're only holding W instead of beginning to loop when the killer gets close to you.
I'm sorry, I don't understand what it means: "hold w"

I have learned. Even though I can 3-4k almost every match some days, it doesn't come without sweat, blood, and tears. Whereas survivors are cruising down easy street having a chill time for most of the match.
you sweat to win as a killer! I sweat to win as a survivor! so we are honest players! survivor or killer, if you play toxic you are #########! this is the meaning of our friend's dramatic post!

I'm a killer main who can recognize how absolutely broken he is. He's only ever gotten buffs since his launch & they finally give him a reasonable nerf by removing the slowdown. Now it actually takes skill to win.
but the nerf has already been activated?

I've still been playing him. Every other bottle has the bug. I don't understand how something like this can happen and why not one game of Clown was played to make sure he works. Even 20 seconds of a clown match would have shown this.

I hope for the best but knowing bhvr and how much they care about the state of clown only the entity knows if this will ever be fixed
I have played against it now, everything worked normally!

Not every killer is a tunneling pos, but the ones that are ruin a significant time investment for other players. It's what 5mins min to get a game, 1min to load in, and then 2mins to watch your guy die on first hook because Bubba here slugs all rescue. This is mainly a low rank problem, as green and beyond gets the other issue.
Bully squads. I do enjoy having my max brightness screen boosted to 100 whith a massive white light every 30secs. It's vry fun to have my eyes ache from a swf group coordinating to just make my day terrible. It's the same time investment issue as the campers.
I'm don't have solutions to these problems, but can we stop pretending they don't exist. Every single thread devolves into "that's not real," or "you're just entitled" posts.
For reference I'm a killer main, and not good. I have to sweat hard to break into green ranks, let alone red.
I repeat again what I have written many times: styles of play are not the problem! the problem is toxic players! DS got nerfed because certain survivors abused it! camping is wrong when it's toxic: you can't complain if a killer is on the last hook when the gates are open! he defends the one killing of him! now i want to joke: 1) swf shouldn't communicate while playing. 2) 1 shot killers should never camp hooks. 3) we have no reason to complain if we lose! we must learn to understand when a behavior is toxic or when we are scarce! 4) we can't complain about camping if we unhook our companion after a second it has been hung up! what should the killer do? it is obvious that he is close to the hook, he should give a shot because you are in a hurry? 5) permanently ban those balls that hit the hanging survivor! or we make a collection to send them to a good psychiatrist!
for clarity: I only survived game!

@MarcoPoloYolo said:
Not even a close comparison. Slugging for the 4K is just being sweaty. The equivalent to tbagging at the exit gate is smacking a survivor on the hook.

I am against the gen rush! however, up and down, we say the same thing! the only difference is that, even though camping and tunneling are legal, I find them toxic!

Iosono pienamente d'accordo

So I know there are many issues with the game, i think most people know this. but how does it affect your time playing?
Do you still want to play the game and have fun? is it mixed? Are you just playing because you dont have anything better at the moment? Or maybe because you hope it will get better because you once really liked it?
Just share your views :)
I would consider myself the last cathegory, i really liked the game and I want it to be good again. But im a ps4 user, and every time the game freezes when i lounge at somebody a little bit of my love for the game breaks apart.
But thats just my view, so go ahead!
Yes! my problem is not the bugs .... my problem is the toxic players! for the rest live dbd!

Not when they open the gates and save the hooked survivor just so they can all teabag :/
in conclusion I only understood one thing: strong killers don't need camping or tunneling to win, they only need this noobs and trolls. And if there are people who feel joy in not letting others play, they better vent their frustration in this game, otherwise they could do it in real life!

BT for teammates so they don’t get slugged immediately off hook. Happened every game. DS for this exact scenario. Iron Will for strider spirits, I went against a crap ton of them. Dead hard for the nurses I kept going against. Add to that constantly staying on gens, even when someone is hooked, only going for the unhook just right before the next stage.
idk that play style is boring ass hell for me even if I know it’s effective. Granted it’s why I usually only play survivor for pebble plays, deception, MoM, breakout ... etc stuff you don’t see commonly. I rarely even use exhaustion perks on normal play these days. I don’t “win” half the time but I have fun and I play for my team to win.
this SBMM, I felt restricted in order to be a good teammate.
then let's become friends !!! also oer me the beauty of this game is collaboration! 1) if my partner is on the hook, the priority is to save him! 2) if the killer uses NOED, I don't escape the test! I'm going to find him to save the team! 3) I hate the gen rush! irritates the killer who, in my opinion, is entitled to camping and tunneling! 4) my build can never miss BT! if my teammates die, I don't win either! 5) the dark trap door is the last resort! it's a fact of luck! who uses it as a strategy is noob! 6) IMPORTANT: if you have never been hooked, while your partner is on the second hook, sacrifice yourself! ######### !!! this is a collaborative game!

I don't take issue with the notion about Comms, but that isn't indicative that having a proper skill-based matchmaking is a problem, so much as SWF w/Comms is near impossible to account for in the current setup. I think that is mixing apples and oranges. Comms will have to be addressed separately because it is a separate problem. My view is the Killer should get a 5th Perk slot unlocked when facing a SWF of 3+ to help roughly balance the advantage of SWF's 5th Perk (Comms). In this way, the Killer doesn't get a boost when fighting Solos, but does when fighting SWF. If the boost turns out to be equitable with testing, it will work fine with any skill-based matchmaking.
I agree!!! but when the survivors are unknown, then there must be 3 perk slots!
-
@Bwsted said:
Survivors are not obliged to rescue each other. We've all been in your shoes. Brush it off and just move on to the next match. Your score was almost double theirs even without the 7500 bp from the hatch escape. You won big time in my book.

Then why do people keep stating that the game is not balanced around that fact?
Then why do people oppose telling us what we are facing, so we can use proper add ons and builds that help handle the groups?
Provide the information so that one can be properly prepared, killers are shown items to consider. Even if a team is not sweaty, they will have usually more information about the game as they are talking to each other. If you are a decent survivor group and somewhat stick to gens and play well with good perks which most do, it requires a killer to use good stuff all the time. Each time I try a less gen based build, boom game over in no time, end situation impossible to recover or hold.
Go play killer, because to state they are just having fun doesn't mean that they are throwing the match.
because there are also people like me who like to play alone!
-
in my opinion, those who are afraid are because they feel defective
