Of course being on comms they are well organised but they also tend to be amazing loopers, know their positioning, can bait their exhaustion perks well and hit all their skill checks even when they show up at the end of the match as only at rank 15!
I adjust my addons and offering based on how I think I can do. If I am facing an SWF with 4 toolboxes I pick my worst loadouts so that I don't waste them because I am depipping no matter what.
Flashlight SWF teams on the other hand surprised me - I expected to always get destroyed but it tends to be people playing just to have fun performing unsafe unhooks, sandbagging eachother, pointing at lockers etc. I expect to earn some points so I make sure to offer party streamers or similar.

In situation 1, if I were feeling benevolent I would at least pick them up to scare them a little before putting them down again to crawl out. That way they at least know you gave them their escape.

I ignore the hatch. I've already won at that point and the match ends quicker that way. It just isn't worth the time wasted guarding it.
If you are the last survivor and you can avoid me, you've earned it.

I would like this. I find it hard to pick non-meta perks as a survivor. I end up having the same perks whoever I choose. With a built in perk it would give each survivor a bit more personality so they are less of a skin, as the killers are. With so many perks available now, most of them are rarely used because few of them beat the metas.

It is because when more than one person is on a gen, each person's efficiency decreases. You are both personally doing the gen at 90% of full speed when cooperating and it will repair at a total of 180% speed..

I always imagine it's Mathieu Côté lifting the sacrificed survivor into the sky. When I heard him on the dev stream telling people that he knew about an prestige exploit and people would be banned for using it, I could sense the contained entity rage as I I felt myself being pulled into his realm as the next survivor.

You are all judged by the entitiy. If the entity says you pipped then you won, even if you are a survivor and you died. If you had a basement party, killing 3 people and depipped (if that's possible) its a loss.
Some would argue that Killers are technically not even competing with survivors.

I've had survivor games where I have been matched up with all rank 20s including the killer, and been the only one to die. That's when I want my rank to be hidden!

Here 2 moments, jeff was urban evading even when killer was on the other side of the map and claudette always hiding in corners.Good examples. Would it make you cry and tell your mum?

Pointing with your finger is griefing? Pointing? I face SWF teams that do this all the time. They are just having fun. I'd bet most killers would go after the pointer rather than the pointee anyway. (If there is such a word as pointee).

Thanks everyone. You've set my mind at ease. This is why I don't have my own messaging switched on. If survivors are threatening to get their team mates banned, I can only imagine how they are with killers.

The devs said that hiding in a locker after getting a vessel will hide 99% of your vessel aura so:
1. Pick dwight
2. Grab vessel
3. Hide in locker -

I like to walk up to a survivor on the hook as Spirit, look up at their face and just stand there for 10 seconds, then spirit walk away so they think they are being face camped when I've actually wandered off
I hoped someone would DC when doing this but unfortunately nobody has so far.

Ok so I've given up on WSAD and switched to an xbox controller, its fine but it keeps telling me to press stupid things like LB whatever the flip that is. If I get off Rank 20 on PC I've got no chance if I'm against mouse jockeys!

I never even thought about that. It beats watching TrueTalent for my fix (no disrespect meant to him of course). I could move my graphics card to the upstairs PC! Does the game recognise X, O Triangle and Square or does it think it is an Xbox controller?

You have no idea! I've been trying it using WASD, CTRL, ALT and Space for thowing a pallet down. My left hand feels like a claw! A hags claw even.
4 games in against level 20 using WASD, sacrificed on all of them. I managed a pip.

It's free this weekend so I though I would try it. But you are right about the optimisation, I bought a GeForce 770 ages ago for Witcher 3 so naturally I thought I will put it on Ultra and get amazing frame rates on DBD. I do not!

Yes and the PC/console can monitor the pings. If they are mostly red, allow the lobby quit without penalty. Those killers that don't usually lobby dodge would also get a fairer ratio of solo players if everyone has to face SWFs.

When I want to practice chases I use Kate and her Windows of Opportunity perk, wearing the USA shirt. Killers target me when I wear that.

Most of us want a balance. I don't care about getting a specific number of kills, I just want a game were the survivors are at my level. If they are SWF, then I'd like to see them below my level. If they are 4 solos, go ahead and give me players that are all above my skill level to remove MY advantage.

At the end of last month I was easily pipping and felt uncomfortable with the rank the game claimed I was at because I'm not a great killer.
This month, after the rank reset I'm getting my hag bottom handed to me every game because of elite rank 15 survivors.
I agree that It needs to be harder to rank up and harder to rank down.

It is incredibly stressful, but as @BigBadPiggy and @ColonGlock say, focus on fun. Even a black pip is good. As soon as you stop focussing on kills, you realise you can hook survivors and walk away. No camping or tunneling required because its about the points and fun in the end.
However, I always feel I'm going to end on one of Ochido's juking videos.

I think killers are dodging lobbies because 4 survivors keep coming up at once, probably because the devs have sneaked the new matchmaking system in. It is muscle memory - a reflex. A bit like one of your survivor skill checks. Within a fraction of a second of 4 people popping up we hit leave.
Killers have to get used to the fact that it doesn't necessarily mean its a grief squad any more.

I might be talking nonsense here but since many killers dodge swf, there are more likely to be swfs in lobbies at any given time because the solos get snapped up immediately.
Once the new matchmaking system is in place, there will be no swf dodging so swf games will be distributed more evenly. I can cope with occasional grief squads.
Honestly, it made sense in my head.

That's about the tiniest, most insignificant, most minor problem in the game ever. What was seriously wrong got fixed. We can live with a game showing a number 1 above or below our actual rank...
No fixing the clown's belly jiggle was the most minor problem in the game ever. But while they were updating the end game screen, they MAY have fixed this at the same time.

How about if I clean enough pustala, I become immune to this new noed. But someone who doesn't, can be affected by it.
