If you're not, and are just guessing someone's here (because obviously someone is gonna come to try to save his mate), you're insecure and just rely on the logic of the game by punishing altruistic action, that result in acquiring the status of a camper.
To each his own vision of playing. It's normal having messages when you have a frustrating experience while playing a game. Usually when someone gets unsafe unhook and I know they didnt even touch a gen, I just gonna down them and chase another guy, cause I know the feeling and he can have a chance to do something and have fun. We're human after all.
I'm not in the run of 4k like those lowkey toxic streamers do these days like Tru3tunnel... Playing "competitive", let me lel at you. That's not a competitive game. It's a frustration maker wannabe. But once you've understand that, you just gonna enjoy basic things like having a good chase, outmindgame, hitting a pretty dope hatchet with huntress... that is rewarding. The feeling you actually get good at a game.
Iridescent hatchet with noed and red mori ? Yes. That's inferiority complex in my opinion.
I'm on PS4 btw, and I recommend you not block your messages, there are tons of good people, survivors and killers, that help, give tips, or just become virtual friends to party with...

Yes, new emblem system forces you to do different objectives. Unlucky you get tunnel vision chased, next time you'll have to escape the chase and do a gen at least ;p

Try to go in a game with a friend (add me if you want I'm also on ps4) with the purple addons (blanket) that allows you to see the destination of the blink.
Train long blinks, short blinks, through obstacles, or not. Move your camera while the blink animation, learn the speed, the distance.
Then it's about patience, guessing. Once you got the knowledge of "theory" you ll train facing survivors, guess their mind games, where they gonna go, when the dead hard gonna pop, etc.
Watch carefully since no one play the same, and learn the player pattern so you gonna expect the jukes, etc ...
Ruin / Shadowborn / Nurses Calling as a basis at first. Last perk is up to you... Stridor could be a nice choice since the sound is completely ######### up with this patch...
Don't be frustrated by not doing kills or getting t bagged, thats what you ll get while training. Don't camp. You want to improve, so, work on your blinks. For the same reason i'd recommend you not to use Noed.
You don't play nurse to do kills, you play nurse to master her. Then little by little you gonna see that you're actually a killing machine.

Immobilizing is maybe a bit too much.
As an answer to camping I'd see an increase time duration on hook if the killers stays more or less far from the hook.
I think this would be a great solution to force killers to do things, and give more life time to the unlucky survivor and also to the team to think about what they're doing.
Also, I think a sort of passive kindred should be nice with this. For not being broken, it should allow to see the killer aura only, not survivors ones, if he's staying near a hook for too long.

Same on PS4, each time I want to play surv its 80% dodge. (I dont even run Claud' !)
But killer queue are quick, even at R1. Mainly 4 man swf, its maybe 30sec for a lobby get ready... pretty good.

When I first started killer i was struggling a bit also with scratchmarks ^^
So I started using Bloodhound. But games after games, I was seeing that I was only relying on blood marks, and that is not good. You want to develop your vision, and your ears.
If you use bloodhound, don't do it on every games, try to alternate so you gonna feel the difference with / without, you gonna learn a lot more like this, instead of being static and using the same build everytime.
Then, if you're a survivor main, try to think about what your opponents are going to do. If you got map knowledge, you know where are the buildings, loops and pallets... Use this knowledge as a strenght and guess where they are going to catch them.
An other alternative is : play Freddy.
Yes. Lot of people saying he is bad, but trust me, you can still do things with that guy
Especially that he is a tracking god, once you've got someone in dreamworld, you can't miss it.

Are you implying that Killers who succeed at killing are noobs? So you're saying the pros are the ones who don't kill? Did I enter a wormhole into a reverse world without realizing it?

I am talking about campers / patrollers / Tunnellers / noeders / mori'ers whatever it need to do the 4 k at all cost using cheap "strategy". You know, those insecure killers that are just scared taking a "loss" as his definition of winning has been dictated by toxic "competitive" killers...
to each his own vision of fun but whatever, that's not the main thing here.
The point on this is not talking about WHAT I THINK about my definition of cheap killer, but the comment I was reacting on, talking about increasing gen time, that, with those "strategies", just gonna be even worse for a survivor experience.

Tunnelling is the best way to do it fast and efficiently. Adding time to generators just gonna be even worse for the remaining survivors.

@master @doowie There is no lobby chat on Ps4. It's all coming directly in your message box. Since you can report people for being rude / insulting, you can't report harassment based on the Dd report cause Sony don't care about this.

Yes should be great. But they need to correct the fact when a trap is triggered, it slightly moves around.

It's cool doing this when there is almost no timer left for the mend bar. Just wait a bit, up you go. Deck move.
But yeah, it's not an exploit. You can also do that strat with PIG to let the trap trigger.

I don't know mate. I don't enjoy doing 4k anymore. I don't care about this since it has been the graal thing suggested by toxic aka "competitive" killers like Truetalent. I just enjoy playing funny killers like Huntress, spirit and succeeding without doing low "strat" like tunneling, hard patrolling or noed.
If I know everyone has fun on the game including me, focusing on improving my efficiency, then it's all good.
4 BBQ stacks is my win.

It's not that much of a problem seriously ... just face wall as usual.
I like this item since some survivors use it smart to break a chase, not only making a save. It's cool.

@zarathos Tracking is ok, you got eyes, brain, and if that isn't enough you just can use Stridor / Bloodhound.
Legion is easy to play in my opinion, too easy.

If there are multiple target and I got to chose one, I'll take the weak link first, looking how they run, if they're looking behind them, etc, so I can get a hook fast and make this surv waste pallets.
If there are a lot of item then I'll focus toolboxes user.

Legion is easy to play. Even at red ranks and it doesn't need a buff.
It doesn't suffer from gen rush. People are just BORED facing legion so they want the game getting fast, not healing cause it's pointless and rushing toolboxes.
It needs a complete rework cause there's actually no counter play to him, especially when you're a team of solo survivors. It's not fun to play against, it's just a "lose your time" killer. Chase mecanics disappears, mind game disappears... Braindead killer.
Yes you gonna be bullied if you play bad at killer in general, if you camp and hope for Noed to save you.
But if you get a bit of logic, you don't even need to tunnel / patrol to get a 4K.
And whatever after all, even if 3 survivors escape you gonna make 30K score anyway, so that's a win.
Legion is broken.
