It shouldn't do. Conspicuous Actions doesn't apply to all endurance, they only apply to two perks specifically, DS and OtR.
Perhaps they had OtR, and the endurance effect from OtR trumped the basekit endurance, so when they performed the unhook, it removed OtR's endurance but did not maintain the BT.
Pretty sure in one of the posts about the update it was mentioned it would cancel on that. Not 100% sure though but I do remember thinking that it was useless cause hwo is gonna touch a gen totem or heal in the first 5 seconds of being unhooked.
-
Yes it does. It is a conspicious action so it voids the BT.
-
Clown for sure. Pallet breaking speeds is great for him and so are weapon recovery speeds and less speedboost when hit for survivors.
-
I found a legacy claudette that couldn't loop for her life yesterday. Like genuinely so bad I assumed they cheated their legacy and checked their profile. They had genuinely been playing for 6 years. Maybe they just came back to the game and was rusty but I was kinda shocked.

Gotta disagree there when Nurse exists. Blight's got his troubles but Nurse has had years to keep her bugs appearing/reappearing/"being fixed but not really".
Nope it has to be blight. Kneecam, the 137 different techs, moonrushes, all of the collosion on every map. Blight has never had a single point where he was working as intented since his launch I don't think.

Make being demanifested feel like its worthwhile. Aside from teleporting being demanifested feels pointless most of the time. Also make condemned something actually threatening by making it build passively.

I had forever dredge today. Match lasted 15min and we did 2 gens and all died.
I got base 30k+ bp and double pip from it somehow too. Not worth it tho
Is matches lasting 15 minutes a bad thing?!? I dislike matches under 10 minute they just arent fun or worth the queues. 15-20 min or sorta the length I like.
-
thats just a spirnt burst with training wheels though.
-
I mean I havent run a single slowdown perk yet since playing the new patch and most killers I go against bring 1 maybe 2. Huge uptake in STBFL, Enduring and Bamboozle though
-
Yeah so far so good for me. I really like it. Pretty much just know when the killers gonna swing or damage you. Ive been running it most games and so far Ive gotten pretty good value outta it.

Keyboard is better. Buttons not registering on point is something also happening on controller, and I would argue it’s worse there.
killer have a big disadvantage on controllers. aiming, flicking and even just controlling your redlight for mind games is way more precise on keyboard/mouse.
survivor it’s not that great of a difference, but i would still argue looping and turning is possibly faster on keyboard/mouse as you will be able to run around assets and change directions faster and M&K.
it would be great if advanced controller settings such as deadzones, response curve and different sensitivities for aiming would be a thing in DbD.
Decent customizable settings? IN MY DEAD BY DAYLIGHT? NEVER

What makes it worse is that the gamebreaking issue that needed it to be killswitched is... drumroll please..... too much BP

It was probably a Bug that it did not multiple the Base-BP, but the BPs you got after all Modifiers (e.g. Offerings).
Also, when playing in an SWF only the person who opened the Lobby (and was inviting other players) would get Bonus-BPs.
Huh I mean still seems weird to me considering how Kill Switching has been used in the past.

Hasn’t changed at all for me playing as and against. She’s the love of my life, my darling love regardless of what state she’s in so I’ll play her no matter what. Playing against, she is still as uncommon as a human with 3 arms to me.
So overall nothings changed.
Rumor has it there was once a time long long ago where GannMan was not as hard of a spirit simp.

Some gay people out (notably older ones) have had straight relationships before. It could take time to discover your true sexuality or perhaps society pressured them into acting straight in front of others.
So like from a writing standpoint it may just be a retconn, but it would still make sense even if it wasnt a retconn.
I don't think it was intended for David to be gay till like 2022 MAAAAYYYBEE 2021. Like he was added so long ago and he also had his tome ages ago. Like I do like him being gay but it kinda does feel like a retcon to make him gay because they didn't want to make a new gay character. Here is to hoping for more LGBTQ folks in the future though (Im too lazy to find a rainbow emoji in the forums ######### emoji yoke)

Sorry but that dredge skin. especially for free.

I would agree except for Haddie. Its a bit weird to complain about a characters lack of cosmetics when they are like literally the newest one and have already gotten a twitch prime and event if i am remembering correctly.

Run an uncloak speed addon
You'll eventually come across a smartass survivor who will repeadetly vault pallets in your face over and over so you can't break it
I do this to wraiths with this kinda build and they get so mad at me
Sadly I got no addons yet but my plan was purple shadowdance and then that one uncloak after breaking ######### one for fun

New players won't be able to learn key mechanics because they nerfed a perk that removes key mechanics?

Did any of you guys faced this weird problem too? Most of my characters, even tho they were P3 before, didn't give the tier 3 versions of their perks to the other characters. For example, you can see that even tho Jane is P9LV50 now, her teachables became tier 1 only, somehow. Do I need to prestige them two more times?
Is this like just visual or do other characters only have the t1s too?

Why did you do this.. these were my equivalent of legacy. I would use these every once in a while but now I can't.

How is everyone's experience with camping and tunnelling after the patch? I've not played much myself but I'm expecting it to be just as bad as before, since there was nothing really done to combat either.
Forgive me if Im wrong but was there not a basekit 7% speedboost and endurance added and was there not also a reworked 80 second endurance perk to defend against tunneling? Maybe I just had some really weird dream.

We can pray 😔🙏

Don't mind me. Just hopping through the goodbye posts to collect tears. Stay hydrated anyone in the heatwave :)

I hate 2 of them having like what I assume is going to be the new scourge hook look and the other 2 are just normal .

Imo its cause how progres bars work. It looks like a simalar time even though its 12.5% slower. If bars were actually split into charges it would be much more noticable imo.

Nancy, Steve, and Demogorgon do not have perks anymore. This can be seen on the "Character Info" page. If you had unlocked their perks as teachable prior to their removal on November 21st then you will have these perks unlocked at tier 1 automatically, but otherwise they are treated as generic perks.
damn this is really making me sad for Demo being removed. Alll I want in life is muh Surge value.

double DC and 13k bp WITH the bonus in my first game so its gonna be a long day haha.

Anything where the number increase is progress: level, perk count, perk level, devotion, ...
It is progression just an awful way of implementing it. If an FPS locked using my pistol until I hit a certain level I would be pretty pissed. Perks are an essential mechanic core to the game. Locking using them behind a level cap is just poor design imo.

It's called progression, usually a good thing to have in games.
The real progression of DBD is unlocking teachables. Putting new players or players playing a new character at a flat disadvantage that cannot be spun in any way other than negative is a really really ######### way of implementing progression.
-
Now every p1 will become a p3 aka the important prestiege for gameplay. I would recommending p1ing as man as you can before the update.
-
Overcharge should be 100-200% or better yet leave it the same and make it not stack with COB I personally dislike it taking 12 seconds of uninterupted regression to reach the already ######### baseline regression is overkill.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
so suggest a chance
a passive 100% perma regression with no counterplay is not a balanced perk
Perma till a survivor die. And its 4x slowers than repair speeds so say you have been away froma gen for 60 seconds it will take 15 to get the progress back. Either stacking on gens o team coordination is the counter to it.

True, but unlike Blight, Nurse and Spirit, holding W works on Artist. Thats the only reason I put her on A tier tbh
Holding W works on her too an extent. She is still 115 and its easy to zone survivors from getting to another loop buy chucking down birds to cut them off. Im not quite sure if she is S but definitely a contender imo. I feel she is the samish level as new spirit.

Artist id say is A tier. Her mobility is lower than Spirit, blight and Nurse
Her mobility is lower but her chase is really good and being able to pressure a gen from anywhere on the map makes up for her mobility a bit.
-
Blight and Artist are probably S tier

it could be a sign since he still needs the money obviously by doing these actor assignments
I seriously doubt he needs the money as his estimated net worth is 16 million. Freddy is one of the best known characters in horror the amount he is probably still making lots of money from it and that cameo was likely not much money to him. He is much more likely to do it for his own enjoyment of horror which I would say is the main reason for his role in ST.

since robert england is playing (a small) role in the stranger things season 4, he might be interested to give his "yes" to license his character
no they can't since they dont own the rights to the original freddy kreuger. Also I dont get why him being in ST would be a sign of him wanting to give his likeness.

After four years in the game and not a single cosmetic in sight I wouldn't say so. The Nightmare on Elm Street people seem to be completely rigid when it comes to the license. They couldn't even get the original Robert Englund Freddy. They had to settle for the 2010 remake.
As a Halloween fan I'd have been very disappointed if we had gotten the awful Rob Zombie remake Myers and Laurie instead of the classic John Carpenter originals.
I like the rob zombie remake.

What is the point of an Iridescent rare offering if it barely ever comes into play and you can't even use it to counter Decisive Strike? Who will ever run Moris if you need to get past a Decisive to use them regardless?
The whole idea of running Mori was that you would be less likely to get BP and pips.
The whole point was that it was a fun offering and punished something that was completely avoidable: getting hooked at all and getting downed. These are not only avoidable but you get penalized for having these happen to you. You need to be quite a bad player at this point to get to third hook and get yourself involved in a chase to begin with.
No. It was stupid that they existed like that in the first place. Moris should have never even been an offering tbh.

The most depressing thing about it to me is seeing how he went from a masterfully balanced Killer with clear strengths that made him feel strong, a unique playstyle, that made him fun and unique, and ample weaknesses that could be exploited to beat him to what he is now: utterly underpowered and lacking in pretty much everything with a clear lack of inspiration and uniqueness and overall nothing redeeming (pun partially intended) about him.
It gets especially depressing when looking at Hillbilly, who has went through a very similar journey a long time ago, who still hasn't been fixed yet - because Hillbillies past is most likely exactly what Slingers future looks like: forgotten and abandoned by the Devs after being absolutely gutted.
Sadly likely the truth. I doubt we will see major changes for him any time soon

Certain killer combos would be good but other than that survivors.

That's the alternative is it?
How did I get all 12 masks on the second day by playing killer, while letting all survivors escape with 30k BP all round, myself included?
You just have to play killer well, I would 2-hook all survivors, and control the pace of the game to the point where everyone was on death hook, I could walk away while they finished the rest of the gens (usually multiples remaining) and have plenty of time to find the pedestal.
I'm still finding pedestals now? I completed all the invitation related challenges AFTER I already had all the masks, and still pick one up nearly every game for the extra 750 BP. I've probably picked up around 30 invitations by this point, and I only play for a couple hours in the evenings.
Not everyone has the time to play that much. I was busy for most weekdays. I only played some 20 matches over the 2 weeks. And got my last mask on the last evening.

He's weak but that doesn't mean he's not fun, provided you don't get matched against really good SWFs. It feels awesome when you can pull off a wicked shot from miles away, especially considering how precise his harpoon hitbox is.
I don't think he needed a nerf at all. Compared to the top tier killers that BHVR have never considered nerfing and have instead buffed, like Nurse and Blight, his power level wasn't even close to theres. Slinger has essentially no map pressure and has to rely on strong chases to keep people off gens. The fact that they nearly gutted his chasing ability (and the niche ability to sneak up on people) just boggles my mind. He was perfectly fine the way he was.
He isn't the worst killer he just isn't fun imo. They just made him feel clunky. I still have fun playing other weak killers he just feels bad to play.
-
@Seraphor said:
And if a killer hooks someone at roughly the same time as a gen is repaired (within 20 seconds or so) all players flock to the pedestal and the killer gets a free lunch.
"Killers are gatekeeping the event!"
"Toxic killers ruining the event for everyone!"
Well the alternatives is slugging and useless teammates. That isn't a common enough issue and really isnt a massive issue at all imo. If you are killer who doesnt want crowns you have to gamble whether survivors want a crown badly enough to go there rather than just going to a gen and if you are a killer who wants the crown after you find whatever survivor it is and injure them you are still trying to get the crown. Its by no means impossible odds of a killer hooking a survivor as a gen pops off and both the killer and a survivor goes and then the killer gets a free down but the killer is after crossing the map applying little to no pressure on the other 3 survivors working on gens. Also if they do find the survivor the crowns generally spawn inside loops and structure so unless all the pallets were thrown the survivor can still loop.

Again I dont mind that personally, I myself never used the Shrine that much anyways, I just dont want the Shrine to become this thing that other people dont use anymore, since they are effectively changing what is and isnt worth doing with the Prestige and Shrine reworks.
Sad this is that is how I see the shrine going. It will be a way for new players to get meta perks for DLCs they dont own but other than that pointless if you want to tier up the perks you have on everyone.
