This is a no judgemental free zone. I was Curious to what people Main as in what Killer and Survivor they play. So if you want you may place Who you Main and if you want to place a list of Who you play is allowed. Even if you don't Main either Killer or Survivor you may just put just what side you Main. Again this is a Judgement free Zone
Survivor mains: Lisa Garland, Rose Marigold, Zarina, Yui
Killer main: Tutorial Trapper

Although I don’t play killer and I avoid events in general, my usual pattern while waiting for matches is usually YouTube whilst grinding skill seeds in DQ - trying to max all stats on all characters in Dragon Quest XI (if you know you know.. lol)
-
Also if you notice; the killer themselves also had a Chinese name (definitely not Japanese) - so regardless of it being in Canada, seems the whole lobby killer and survivors are from the same region.
Other noticeable points are 3 players all at p100 with what looks like same platform (the one with 0 points is at p12 and has globe icon) so they may have DC’d due to being in a 3 v1 having played a hit - hence the point).
So any number of things is possible - not quite sure what the OP is specifically pointing was the issue.
Who knows though

That’s true. I didn’t even see the bot part. Now I am curious 🧐
one of the bots has 0 points implying they gave up or got DC’d/poor connection from the off - and perhaps the others followed suit?

well done!!

Let me take you on a journey of heartbreak dear reader...
Background
So as some background... I am somewhat of a DBD scientist myself... I look for alternative/weird methods of making perks and items work. As an example a build I'm quite proud of:
- Engineers Toolbox (purple 100% repair speed one)
- Instructions (no skillchecks) and Wire Spool (12 extra charges) add-ons.
- Streetwise
- Stake Out
- Autodidact
- Scavenger
You dump your engineers toolbox ASAP, hopefully while building stacks with Stake Out, and none of them consumed while you're emptying your toolbox. You then use Stake Out to get your toolbox back with Scavenger, with Autodidact also not wasting your Stake Out stacks on Healing. I like this build cause it's genuinely more useful to use an Engineers Toolbox than a Commodius, since you can start getting it back sooner.
In this way I have genuine unironic use for Engineers Toolbox over Commodius Toolbox and the Instructions add-on. Mission accomplished 🤘😁🤘
A New Mission
In a similar vein I set out on a mission to find the best way to use Bardic Inspiration without having to rely on Deadline or Hyperfocus madness... Obviously we want more skillchecks for Bardic to get the most value... and the principle was this...
If you use a toolbox: -
- the chance of getting a skillcheck is 40%
- the time your toolbox lasts = the number of charges you have divided by the repair speed (charges per second)
Now the number of charges is self explanatory, the more the better, but for our purposes on Bardic Inspiration, we want the slowest repair speed possible, as the slower we repair, the longer we keep our charges, thus the more we get of our 40% skillcheck chance... combine our toolbox with Streetwise and Max Charges add-ons, we're cooking on gas for a looooooong use of our toolbox...
Now we know that Commodius Toolbox is better for charges, but what about repair speed? Which toolbox is our SLOWEST toolbox... Alex's toolbox...
At this I got excited... could it be when combined with Bardic Inapiration, Alex's Toolbox is actually better!?
No in short... because the sheer number of dumped in charges from the Commodius is gonna outweigh any value BI is gonna give us... but can we at least get the most time out of Alex's Toolbox to maximise Bardic Inspiration Value specifically?
Let's get mathin'...
Commodius Toolbox:
- Base: 32 charges at 1.5c/s = 21.333s
- Add-ons: 52 charges at 1.5c/s = 34.667s
- Streetwise: 65 charges at 1.5c/s = 43.333s
- 20% Thanataphobia: 65 charges at 1.2c/s = 54.167s
And for the moment of truth!!!!
Alex's Toolbox:
- Base: 18 charges at 1.1c/s = 16.364s 🫤
- Add-ons: 38 charges at 1.1c/s = 34.545s 😒
- Streetwise: 47.5 charges at 1.1c/s = 43.182s 🫣
- 20% Thanataphobia: 47.5 charges at 0.88c/s = 53.997s 😭
........ Sometimes peering behind the veil is truly soul crushing...
Plz BHVR... buff Alex's Toolbox to 24 charges... I need this to be true 🥺🥺🥺🥺
As someone who is incapable of mathing, I applaud your analytical brain and more importantly, thoroughly well written, interesting and educative piece!
You should turn it into a series!

Hi,
I started playing on global release on PS4 and stopped in 2019, but I got back into the game last August. Don't get me wrong—the game is incredible—but the ping issues are a major problem. We're in 2025 now, and having ping starting from 35ms to 80ms (and sometimes even 120ms) seems unreal for an online game. Taking hits from seemingly out of nowhere is frustrating and makes the experience less enjoyable. It's demotivating and makes me question whether I want to keep playing. On top of that, there’s the issue of killers slugging, which wastes 20 minutes of my precious time (im unemployed). , I’m in France, just an hour from Paris, with 2.5Gb/s download and 1Gb/s upload speeds. In every other game, my ping never exceeds 10ms, yet in this game, it feels like the servers are located somewhere near Jupiter. It's making the game borderline unplayable for an online experience but still, i love this game, i just want DBD to be a respectable game and not a alpha draft game who doesn't update
Love yall
to be honest, most games and most situations in DBD (in my personal experience) where ping has been up to 70 m/s has rarely overly impacted (barring huntress refrigerator hatchets which seems to be irrespective of ping to be honest lol).
Most games I have are around 35-50 m/s with odd fluctuations.
however, upwards and consistently over 75/80 is very noticeable; quite bad at 100+ and borderline unplayable at 150+ pings. It seems to be significantly worse when it is the killer who has this bad ping compared to a survivor who tends to get replaced by a bot more often than not when ping is very bad. -

By some Christmas miracle I finished the first page of survivors today. Just wanted to share here, not sure if anyone has committed to this yet. I did also want to share a message to anyone playing DbD today and always, as this is a testament not to time spend but time shared with the many people I've met in the fog.
This is so much more than 12 P100's. This is 6 years of live, laugh, and loop! Thank you to all my friends for all the cake and time you spend with me. It's even more special that I got to finish it today. Merry Christmas everyone! And happy hooking holidays. :)

how about if someone is slugged for 45 seconds and (unless they have UB or have activated Plot Twist) the entity swallows them and puts them in a cage/hook a la pyramid head/2v8?
That way it mitigates some of the concerns of the killer - that they don’t want to pick up in case of a sabo/fl/DS/back ground player range etc.
I don’t know I’m sure every solution will have drawbacks or whatever but this gives the killer a risk-free hook after a period of time and also prevents the killer from bleeding someone out. Might probably need refinements and adjustments with activation/deactivation criteria based on certain circumstances but hey worth testing on a PTB perhaps?

I am beyond myself with gratitude. 💐💐💐
Sincerely, I love horror. I love this game. And I love this community. I’ve always found a home in the horror genre- I’m sure many of us can relate. For one reason or another we are all here enjoying this game together.
@TheSingularity (pre and post 😊)
@C3Tooth We all miss you
@CountOfTheFog 😊😄💐
@Shroompy 😊😄💐
+ Everyone else I didn’t list!!! 💐💐💐
I’m a huge fan of being the change you want to see. The above people have demonstrated a willingness to be that change while remaining their authentic selves. I see Dbd reflected in every single person listed and on this forum. These people will give you the best that they have to offer. Why not match that passion and be the change you want the dbd community to become? Why not? It can happen. They can help you get there.
I wanted to thank @For_The_People for being the first person from the forums that I’ve ever played Dbd with. He is a very sweet person who will give you his time of day in earnest if you need him to. He’s one of the prime examples of politeness in this community. Thank you for being a positive force in the community. 😊😊😊
Lastly I need to thank @solarjin1 . What can I say? When you meet a friend that gets you, you both just know it. Her courage to be funny and humorous is so infectious. She told me that the small pallet in rpd was the most op pallet. I was so naive of game knowledge that I believed her! LMAO! After that I realized that it was anything goes when it came to humor with her. I’m at my best when I can be silly. Solarjin1 is that friend who brings out the best in me. Thank you Solarjin1 for all the laughs and for the laughs to come 😂 I’m going to be collecting🤣🤣🤣
None of this would be possible if we didn’t have a phenomenal community team here to support us discussing this twisted hobby we all have. Thank you again to everyone at Bhvr for putting your hearts and souls (ha!) into everything that is Dbd.
They say you attract more flies with honey than with vinegar…
Let’s just use blood instead 🩸😈🩸
Happy Holidays everyone, I hope everyone stays safe and has a wonderful New Years 😊🎉
Oh wow!! First of all congratulations on a truly deserved recognition - you already know how high an esteem I hold you on so it will be no surprise whatsoever to hear me say how much I am proud for you and think it is one million percent deserved!
As for the shout out, haha I still maintain that it’s unlucky for you that your first forum swf was with a total potato but I think we’ve had some amazingly fun games!
Also very lucky and grateful for having a great friend and also for wider game recommendations (still enjoying FF!!)
What a lovely piece to read today and cheered me up so much!

In this post I will give you tips on how to use Boon perks better.
In general, Boon Totem is considered a medium risk medium reward, in some cases it may be high reward, It's all about how you use it.
In the description of any Boon perks it is stated that the range of the Boon totem is 24 meters, however this is only the distance from the Boon totem to the end of the area of effect.
Because when the Boon totem is activated, it forms a semi-invisible sphere. The sphere can be seen by observing those shiny objects floating in the range of the Boon totem, and they are only visible to survivors.
So the distance from the beginning of the ball to the end of the ball is 48 meters! So exploiting this range is very important and comes in the first tips.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Tip 1: Tottems Location.
The location of the totem is very important because you and your team want to benefit from the Boon totem
and keep in mind that Bless Totem takes 14 seconds without any perks affecting Bless Speed, the killer takes 1 second to sniff boon totem, so you should use it smartly so you don't have to waste too much time and the killer is the winner.
Totems in places your team visits frequently are the best for blessing the totem (If the killer goes there too then it's a bad place).
Totems that are difficult for the killer to reach are also very important. You don't want the killer to sniff Boon totems.
Examples:
-Totems in high places (such as the second floor of the main building - or vehicles with totems inside), Or even the totems are in low places, meaning that the killer needs to spend time getting down to them (indoor maps: like the game).
-A totem close to a completed generator is also a good place because the killer will have no real reason to go to a completed generator and even if the killer goes for sniff boon totem the killer will have lost some time, just make sure that this totem is not in a dead zone or far from the rest of the map.
Avoid these places:
- Dead Zone
- Map corner
- very exposed places
- Very easy places for the killer to sniff boon totem with a very little wasting time
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Tip 2 : Items and perks to help with Boon perks.
These tools are very useful to help with using boon perks!
- Green Map with Stamp+Red Twine or Detective's Hunch.
- Iri Map and Stamp
- Small Game if you have nothing else.
- Overzealous is great to recover some of the spent time back.
Since the game has a large number of maps + RNG, these tools are very good, especially in saving time.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Tip 3 : Uses
When you see a Hex totem, it may be best to bless it for the following reasons:
- Blessing Totem is quieter than cleansing Totem because when cleansing Totem your character will make a humming sound that can be heard clearly which may alert the killer, unlike when blessing Totem your characters do not make any humming sound and many killers do not know the blessing sound and think it is another sound from the map.
- When a Hex totem is blessed, the killer does not receive any audio alert indicating that the Hex perk is gone, which leads to matches where the killer thinks the Hex perk is still active for a long time, which happens a lot.
- Blessing a Hex Totem is the best way to avoid Hex: Pentimento because you save your team from 30% penalty, deny the killer a Hex perk, and revive the Totem.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
|Boon perks|
Here I will write down the tips or common mistakes about each Boon perks.
- Boon: Circle of healing
One of the biggest mistakes is when you see all your team busy and you are just standing within range of this Boon if no one has stopped what they were doing after you have been standing for 5 seconds then it is better to do something else.
- Boon: Shadow step
Best used when you are repairing generators meaning if you find a totem near an incomplete generator then bless it! The killer won't be able to see your aura and even if the killer is coming the scratch marks are also hidden so you can easily run away or hide away without worrying about the killer finding you.
- Boon: exponential
It's about the totem location mentioned above and with the addition that you don't recover if you're not in range of this Boon Instead crawl to the Boon range because you'll recover there 100% faster.
- Boon: Dark Theory
This Boon can mess with the killer's muscle memory and help reduce the speed gap between you and the killer, especially against 110% speed killers, so make sure to place it near Loops or places where you can hold W.
- Boon: illumination
If you are in SoloQ this is very useful as it saves your team time searching for generators and chests and also helps you plan which generator to prioritize to prevent a 3 gens scenario or to prevent generators in a dead zone.
Take advantage of the second effect if you have other plans.
All of these examples of each Boon are assuming that you are using one Boon alone.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Fun facts:
- When comparing Boon totem and Hex totem, Boon totem is considered stronger than Hex totem, There are no Hex perks that can dispel the Boon totem while Boon perks can, meaning if the last remaining totem was the Boon totem and the killer had Hex: Noed then Noed would be unable to dispel the Boon totem , if anything it shows it's shows how powerful the Boon Totem is despite being in the Entity Realm.
- The Boon totem is associated with the survivor who blessed the totem, meaning that once the survivor escapes, dies, or is sacrificed, the Boon totem goes too.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Finally done, took some information and advice from some friends in the forum who helped me create this post.
fussy one of them!
I thank them all
Thanks for reading this, if you want to help me I hope you spread this to everyone maybe even a content creator it would mean a lot to me.

I'll be honest, my friend, I don't even remember the last time I've seen someone use Mirrored Illusion. But Plot Twist can be pretty funny sometimes, I agree.
Good choice of perks.
haha I might be one of the only handful of people that uses it - I actually haven’t seen anybody else use it in my games either 😅

This is a fun little discussion that I'd like to propose here.
It isn't uncommon for us to discuss things we wish had never been changed, like BBQ and WGLF. Or things that we wish would return to the game, with the best example being Old Freddy. Generally speaking there are a lot of things from the Old DBD we wish were still around.
But what about the opposite?
This is a question I think has never been asked. So imagine that I, GeneralV, have my way and suddenly we're reverting this game back to the Old DBD. Everyone has to return, there is no other option, but you're allowed to bring something from the modern DBD back to the old game.
What would you choose? One specific perk? One character? The add-ons would be included if said character is a killer, of course.
A modern event that you enjoyed, perhaps? A new map?
You can choose anything, but no more than one.
I think two of my perks - mirror illusion and plot twist would have been even more fun in the old DBD as it might have made for very funny moments - mirror illusion is almost seen as throwing by some in the current state of the game but it always brings me joy! I suspect in old DBD it would have been taken in good spirits by teammates and killers alike (it still does for some which makes me happy!)
-
I had ggswp censored a few times! Then I tried to follow up with an explanation to say I didn’t say anything bad - which was also censored lol pretty sure everyone else in chat was thinking I was spewing toxic stuff in the chat but I promise I wasn’t lol

@coldflame said:
seen some back and forth about this over the years and i'm curious what everyone's take is on it
is it bad sportsmanship to intentionally deny the tombstone achivement when you will die either way? i don't think many people would argue that using lockers to avoid dying is bad if you will still be able to continue the game, but for example as the last survivor standing is it fair game to sit in a locker indefinitely for the sole purpose of stopping myers getting their achievement?
personally i can see both sides of this one, i think it's kind of a dick move if i'm being honest but also the survivor isn't really doing anything 'wrong'
i’ll usually jump lockers a couple of times but then come out and let them do it as I generally assume it’s for a challenge

it seems to be the most challenging thing to implement but, I honestly think that a more successful implementation of MMR matching is probably the only solution.BHVR has said that their data shows the MMR pretty consistently matches people of the same skill level, though this is not as true during off peak hours. I think this is generally correct and there are a number of perception issues that play into why people don't think it works:
1: The game has a lot of random factors, in terms of what map players get sent to, how things spawn, as well as the builds that are brought. I used to play support builds a lot but if I ran into a Plague, or got paired with another survivor running the same build, we were in trouble.
On the other end of the spectrum, in soloq once without coordination I and the three other survivors all ran old distortion against a full aura read killer.
2: Early game is massively important. The first chase can really determine the course of the game given its snowball nature. This means a game result can look radically unbalanced just because of the first chase.
Example: I was playing survivor against a Pinhead. I was the first chase target and I took the first hit relatively early and was running to main. Pinhead goes to hit me with a chain and in pretty much a 50/50 guess, I dodge it, then make main. I proceed to run him until 2 gens are complete and he drops chase. If he hits that 50/50 chain he has a massive advantage with one survivor on a central hook and likely 4ks with gens remaining.
3: When the game tips in the killers favor, it tips hard. Survivors start strong, but, on most maps, once they deplete their resources the downs should come quickly for the killer.
4: BHVR has really built 'sweat' in the game, with the ability to take strong addons on either side. So MMR can't tell if a killer who normally plays chill with brown addons and meme perks suddenly decides to throw on a meta build and tunnel.
I think those factors are just some of what play into people thinking MMR doesn't work. This doesn't even get into at how at the extreme levels all MMR systems break down.
thanks for your insight - definitely one that gives food for thought :)
-
@LegacySmikey all the best! Hope you have success and good health 🍰✨
-
it seems to be the most challenging thing to implement but, I honestly think that a more successful implementation of MMR matching is probably the only solution.
let’s say for example, the game balances around higher MMR - the argument is that it will make soloQ and casuals even more unbearable in some cases (not all - as @Reinami illustrated with an example of how a nerf/adjustment to shack might make affect higher MMR swf more directly, though may not impact lower MMR survivors (who may not be able to run it efficiently anyway and get downed regardless of the strength of shack).
All of this really leads to the solution truly being making matchmaking more relevant and then whatever changes or balances will affect players proportionately.
Otherwise, what will happen is that the strong swfs will probably find a solution to win no matter what advice or strategies given. The whole slug, camp and tunnel for the win will definitely work.. but on the lower level soloQ and casuals who are the ones that don’t need that strategy done on them to win anyway?
If you want to balance at the top, make it so the top players truly face each other. Otherwise it genuinely makes the game less and less viable for lower level players (like myself).
A killer won’t know who they’ll face so they go in with the intent to face swfs and therefore will want to play with maximum efficiency. Then they’ll realise midway that they are just stomping solos but because some may have lost to swf, pent up anger or frustration leads to them raking it out on lower casuals anyway. These casuals will either stop playing, or in turn, crank up their own sweat builds to counter and thus continues the cycle of misery.
best solution is to improve match making first and then balance in whatever way needed -

This is going to be a sort of long comment and might as well be its own thread, but I've been wanting to explain Skull Merchants power for a while now, so I'll give a shot here. I'll explain it in a bit of detail, so bear with me, I'll try to make it as straightforward as possible. Her power just has a lot of stuff crammed in.
If you're only interested in understanding exactly what the drones do to survivors and don't care what they do for Skull Merchant, you can just read the "How drones work for survivors" part, but I suggest reading it all, maybe you'll learn something that you didn't know. When I say "you" I mean the survivor, this guide is sort of written from the survivors perspective.
Basics:
Skull Merchant has 6 drones when the game starts. Placing a drone grants her 8 seconds of Undetectable, and puts her power on a 10 second cooldown before she can place another drone. About half a second after a drone is placed, it will activate and begin to spin in a circle, scanning survivors that are hit by the scanline. The drones can be Hacked by survivors, which will disable them for 45 seconds, after which they will reactivate and begin scanning again on their own.
How drones work for survivors:
Active drones have a single scanline. When it is yellow, it can scan you, and when it is white, it cannot. The scanline is yellow and can scan you when you are:
- Running
- Walking
The scanline is white and cannot scan you when you are:
- Standing still
- Crouching
- Crouch walking
- Fast vaulting over a pallet or a window
- You were just scanned. Then you are immune to being scanned again for 2.5 seconds, even while running or walking
Getting scanned applies 1 stack of Lock On, with the maximum being 3 stacks. From the survivor perspective, the 1st and 2nd stack don't actually do anything to you, but you cannot remove the stacks. But the 3rd stack applied a Claw Trap. This will do the following:
- You become Broken and cannot be healed
- If you are healthy, you will become Injured and get a small speedboost, same one you get if you get hit normally
- If you are Injured, you will get Deep Wounds
The Claw Trap lasts for 45 seconds by default. If you are currently Claw Trapped, getting scanned again will do the following:
- You will be Hindered by 8% for 6 seconds
- If you are Injured, you will get Deep Wounds
- Skull Merchant can see you with Killer Instinct for 3 seconds
That's quite a bit of info, but the short version is, run or walk into a drone scanline 3 times and you become injured/broken/deep wounded, and the scanline can be dodged by standing still, crouching, crouch walking, or fast vaulting.
How drones work for Skull Merchant:
After placing a drone, if the drone scans a survivor within the next 5 seconds, Skull Merchant gains 5% Haste that lasts for 8 seconds. She will also get this haste if she rotates a drone, and this drone scans a survivor within 5 seconds of being rotated.
Skull Merchant has a Radar. Any survivor that is scanned will be revealed on the radar for 12 seconds if it is their 1st or 2nd stack of Lock On. If a survivor is Claw Trapped (aka 3 scans, broken, etc), they are always visible on her radar.
Skull Merchant can see you on the radar anywhere on the map, but if you are farther than 32m from her you will be at the edge of her radar and she can only see which direction you are. If you are within 32m, she can see your exact location. She can also see if you are above or below her. This is what her radar looks like from her perspective, in this example the survivor is about 15m away, directly in front of her:

Skull Merchant can recall a drone, which will bring it back to her so she can use it again. This can be used to remove drones she no longer wants or that are hacked by survivors. Rotating and recalling drones can be done across the entire map, but she can only place drones right above herself.
So the short answer for what Skull Merchant can do with the power is:
- Get undetectable after placing a drone
- Get 5% haste after scanning you with a newly placed or newly rotated drone
- See you radar if she recently scanned you, or you are claw trapped
- Rotate, place, and recall drones
If you want, I can give some small tips that can really mess a Skull Merchant up, but this post is long enough as it is. Or, since you mention wanting to play as her, I can give some tips, builds etc for playing as her.
great comment - thank you! Genuinely learnt from it and was totally unaware of some of these things even having read notes etc lol
p.s. the pic with her hand looks very predator-esque! -

I'm surprised I don't see more of Rain. I play her alot and find she blends in well with her clothes, she isn't too loud, and she's pretty short so can easily hide behind alot of stuff. I thought she'd be alot more common than she is.
yeah me too! On the rare moments I see one, I keep making mental notes to buy her next time!

i just want to become the greatest survivor using the most unpicked skin so i stand alone. Please let me know what survivor is the least picked
Most likely from the legendary skins.
Surprisingly rare:
From RE - Chris Redfield, Carlos, Sheva
Somewhat rare:
James Sunderland, Lisa Garland (my main), Tubarao (Renato skin), Cybil Bennet, Maria (all from silent hill)
Actually rare:
probably the ones I see the least - Rose Marigold (who I have also started playing a lot of) and Saga Anderson both form Alan Wake: Rain (Ellen Ripley).
Probably most rare: Jonathan Byers (Steve Harrington skin).
Of course these are from my observations at my low MMR level so may be different in other skill levels.
I admire your aim tho! Lmk who you choose in the end :)

The ones I had felt most confident with were the ones I got all wrong lol
4/8 - and 2 of those 4 were guesses lol
I shall hide in my curtain of mediocrity 🫣

Hm… why do i have 9,7? Strange.
maybe some secret content?? (*゚v゚*)✨

About 7.47GB on steam - it did update fairly quick tbf though

I have probably been playing long enough to at least have my main, Lisa Garland to P100 but I promised myself to not get any of my characters beyond P30’s until my skill gets higher at the game and can do justice to the prestige..
..I may never have a P100 lol 😢

But it is he who matters most.
I want to get my Mikaela up there with Freddy. will take a little while, but I'll do it.
that red background looks amazing!! Very epic!

I will never stop playing Mirror Myers.
But I might play more regular Myers, might try out chase builds again with Enduring, Spirit Fury etc, Coup de Grace maybe.
I doubt his perk synergies will change all that much, but it'll be a little more consistent in using his power.
Thank goodness! I hope your Myers builds end up working for you and make him enjoyable too :)

Oh, I had no idea that was her name.
I thought her name was crazy axe lady!

I think there should be a toggle option for certain stuff like voice lines and especially scream and groans. I remember a few people around me raising eyebrows at the screams and groans when I first started playing it on switch… 😅

You’re certainly not alone there.
I’d also be against adding voicelines for the older characters. I feel like the ambiguity that comes with the lack of them shouldn’t be lost.
Not to mention that a lot of characters pre-Resident Evil were voiced by in-house BHVR staff, some of which have even left the studio.if, and it’s a big if, they ever do make the DBD movie, it will be interesting whether those actors end up doing voice lines for the original cast

To be honest, I have made lots of posts and comments on this topic and I tried to catch myself and refrain from repeating myself too much because it can sound like negativity.
As someone who has many killer main friends and I include many people on this forum as such, I would not want to disrespect them by making blanket statements or appearing to be just a bias survivor main. However, my observation is that voices are important. So when there is a large number of people who have an issue or opinion on something, it has to be looked at beyond our personal preference.
Despite all the arguments in favour of retaining slugging and tunnelling as a basekit strategy regardless of any other perk or strategy to ‘minimise’ or ‘delay’ it, I honestly find it the most unhealthy thing in the game. Not only does it allow for removing agency from one side, it is causing an increasing hostility between the two sides (in general) and feeds into the spiralling toxicity.
I absolutely want to caveat this by saying I have heard and in many cases understand the arguments for allowing slugging and tunnelling. In no way do I want to invalidate or discredit the reasons why. So as many changes as it takes to appease the need for this - and I understand it’s not simple but I have seen many many people suggest great ideas on the forums.
The sad thing is that there are many amazing people I know (and I’m talking dozens - for context, I run a DBD server on discord with circa 150+ players, all casual) who have stopped playing. It’s sad that the game has lost some truly wholesome people.
If the game is going to be purely balanced and left for the highest MMR - and it seems the forum has a higher proportion of high MMR people so my voice is possibly representing the minority here - then the game will spiral into the best versus the best only. For some, you might just say “well that’s how it should be” - but that will surely be exhausting for you in the long run and saddening for casuals or less talented players like me if my participation will be reduced to fodder and a liability for other more skilful teammates.
I cannot stress how important it is to look past pure partisanship and consider the good of the game overall. I like the game and I like the community - including all of you here. I care not a jot about ‘winning arguments’, this is not meant to be a confrontational comment, but an urge for seeking a healthy ground for the game and the people that play it.

Any tips in Hamstermaxxing? Any builds or killers you guys think would fit the hamstermaxxing idea? I was thinking Blight was a good hamster-esque killer but Im taking all suggestions

Not many do the sneaky Hamster better than piggy! She’s the only Ham in DBD!
@Nun_So_Vile @JPLongstreet @radiantHero23
She’ll scutter around the map, bite when she wants and will play with traps :)
And she likes a good stroke and boop of course!

I use to dislike the old music, but Ive come to appreciate it more. Its also a lot more fitting than what we have today
P.S bring back Trickster PTB lobby music and Oni's PTB chase POV music (also PTB music)
I’m surprised despite Trickster being a k-pop themed character that he wouldn’t have more specific music (like a warped version/dark mix of something jaunty).
