Gross. There are eighty-two chase-only killers in the game already. Just get rid of the lethal stab and Legion is fine.
My power concept is legit you get a small window to fast vault and catch up. It's mainly to counter holding W. :I

I hate Legion a lot less than other hit-and-run killers, I agree with the Scott Jund take of "he has to dedicate to an M1 killer chase eventually." Honestly the only problem I have with Legion that makes the Normal Pills such an annoying addon is the lethal Frenzy which is useless against coordinated teams and completely invalidates the above Scott Jund argument in solo queue, it's just all around poorly thought out and an unhealthy gimmick.
That's what this concept aims to fix! It's a power meant ONLY for chase!

They've given Legion like two major overhauls at this point, please just do something about Normal Pills and leave him be for the time being.
I just don't want him to be an annoying hit and run like they are and have been.

Sounds like a skill issue. You are failing to split up if you're "constantly having to mend".
Not to mention that holding a button for 10 seconds every... what... minute or so...?... is nothing. You hold it for 10 seconds, then you play for a fair amount. You get less time between mends if you don't know how to deal with a Frenzying Legion. And you typically mend like... 3 to 4 times during a match. Maybe 5 or 6 if you're doing badly.
If you're dealing with more mends than that, then that's not a Legion issue.
Asking for skill checks during mending is a... skill issue?
-
The opposite of what I voted for since anything else couldn't describe the bull this brings up. It's terrible against a swf but painfully oppressive against solo players. Personally think they should rework this into something different or lower the incap effect by a good bit.

no. it's not a horror game, quantic dream games are extremely badly written and designed and david cage is a creep.
I respect everything but the first reason since we have all these collaberations. AOT, PUBG. I am curious to learn more about the last reason since I haven't been paying much attention to the guy.

Some of these changes range from unnecessary to wildly unbalanced. Never Sleep Pills, for one, absolutely don't need a buff, and neither does Mural Sketch. Legion is in a very good place right now, he doesn't need any tweaks whatsoever.
I just don't like that people constantly have to mend. At the very least give them some skillchecks or something.

Well I bet there are many people who would bat an eye. @FilthyLegionMain am I right
I'd lose my ######### if they vaulted them. Just a plain rework to take out the mending simulator's cool with me.

WAIT.
WAIT A MINUTE.
You might be on to something.
If Feral Frenzy only gave a speed boost for the first second or two, just as a little booty scooty at the beginning, and otherwise had you travel at normal speed BUT you can speed vault. Any stab would cause it to turn off, would count as a Special Attack, would apply Deep Wound ONLY on a healthy survivor, could down survivors, and not have the normal fatigue unless you miss your attack...
I need to workshop this, but I think it would be less frustrating to go against while giving Legion lethality. Legion would be slower, but with the right charge up and cooldown, FF could be far more versatile and flexible.
Wanna add me on discord so we can workshop this together?

13 of the month. Rank reset. Some survivors (and killers) with a particular mindset may be coming out of the woodwork for the next few days.
Oh. That. I haven't been playing for a bit since my D key's a little funky. :<

I always wanted Legion reworked while keeping his core identity. Not an easy task.
Deep Wound is always gonna keep Legion weak and unfun to play against, unfortunately.
It is definitely sad. I really do wish this game had a workshop where you can adjust stuff with perks and powers or even the base stuff to make goofy gamemode or genuinely good adjustments concepts for killers.

Outside of hard tunneling and zoning at every loop, I'm kind of past the point of caring what people think of me for playing in a way they don't like. You could play perkless flick only Billy and get a perfect 12-hook game, without slugging or tunneling, or run No Mither only and exclusively focus on fair chases as opposed to W keying and genrushing, and people will still whine at you. There's no point attempting to please a playerbase as entitled as DBD's. You have to work to incite me to play genuinely spitefully but if I pick a strat or killer that's perceived as "unfun" and you complain at me for it I'll just point out that your opinion is invalidated by the fact that you're playing Nancy and move on.
Wait, holding W is considered unfair?

Went through that phase too. You come out of it eventually.
I legit just wanna vault quick and over pallets. Give me the frenzy animation and take out the whole speed and deep wound and we're in business. Maybe even add a window vault cooldown so it can't be used in rapid quick succession, I guess. Would that be a better idea than what we have? Depending on what people think, you could also be able to kick pallets or choose to vault over them.

There's no denying he's very fun to play, I was a Legion main for a long while.
I've stopped playing them though because I know how absolutely miserable I'm making matches. I can't in good conscience continue to do that. Do unto others as you would have them do to you.
Oh I've been done unto in a bad way for a while before and even when I mained Legion. I'm just playing for myself now.

Look at these goobers dcing against a Trickster on Lery's of all places!

How does not healing stop them from using their power?
It stops them from getting a lot of value from it, you still have to mend regardless.
I can almost guarantee Legion's kill rates are inflated because a lot of Legion players just make the match crawl.
I'm a simple legion main, I frenzy because running and stabbing is really fun. Also I find him fun to verse. There's something about needing to know where to go in a loop to break their ankles.

I've player a few matches as Trickster (who I barely plays) to try an old Main Attraction rift.
I've got rage-quits on first down with many matches. Way more than I'm used to with any other killer.
Is it a common experience with him?
What maps were you playing on? Depending on if they're notorious for loops with short walls you can shoot over, I wouldn't blame them but Trickster can still be fun to play against lmao

Why should looping be rewarded more? All you need to do is equip Windows of Opportunity and you can become a serviceable looper that can run a killer for 2 gens. It's not hard at all
It's the fun part of the game. Not rewarding it means people would stay on gens. :I

No you're right. Haddie failed because she doesnt fit the small, petite female survivor like the rest. Her being heavily lore focused and introduced way b4 her debut chapter shows that most ppl in this community dont care for lore that much which is honestly a shame.
Its also why the most popular survivor, feng, only has 3 paragraphs of lore to her name for 5 years is carried only by her cute gamer profile and lots of cosmetics.
I for one personally appreciate the lore and popularity of the character which is why im a david main as he's a well rounded character both in popularity on the male side and lore. I admit that vittorio already has the looks to take him far. But i personally will make him my 2nd main not just because of his looks but by his designs, tattoos, and lore(being the 1st survivor from the ancient past).
I truly hope they dont keep doing this fan servicing but i believe its inevitable based on the community wanting it. A shame because we are missing out on lore possibilities. Im still waiting on learning more about the pariah members which hasnt been touched in so long.
I personally think she's cool. Just didn't wish her best stuff were sets. That still confuses me and keeps me from playing her...

Easy top A. Borderline S in my opinion.

But you would have lowered your MMR a little bit so the next games don't become more of a sweat/tryhard fest for you.
The problem is if you always try to go for kills and don't relax and stop caring about the end screen, then inevitably you will end up using those strategies on a daily basis to keep up.
We all know that the game isn't balanced around going for 12 hooks regularly. The maximum potential success with that "friendly/fair" playtstyle lies way below the maximum MMR and you will reach a wall. (At least that would be the case with a properly working matchmaking that doesn't throw any logic out the window for the sake of fast queues)
Man just doesn't like losing from a cheap shot like that. I don't blame him.
-
I mean... I run it as part of my base build on every survivor. I use it in manhunts as well because it can provide an incentive to camp one of the hunters.

But...why play an online game to play offline? Like...how does that make any sense? That offline mode is just for testing out new killer powers and how they interact with survivors
It's the only game of its kind that has it executed very well. UNFORTUNATELY IT'S ONLINE ONLY FOR NOW. Having more options is nice, you know? It may not make any sense to you but it's the same way people want to play an offline game like Slime Rancher with friends online. We just want to.
-
I legit think the best way to settle this is just by having a ptb for it. We got to try it with those moris and basekit unbreakable. May as well see how this goes in practice, yeah?

@EvieSimpsForCrowLady said:
Behaviour makes a teaser about a singleplayer dbd experience: what's it about? Like, describe your vision, assume everything would be executed perfectly.
Although I know a telltale style game wouldn't work (but would still be appreciated nonetheless), I'll have to go with something involving a story with one of the survivors that are able to survive for a while figuring out a way to break the realm and truly escape. There would have to be scripted events to make it cohesively possible during gameplay but I'm certain it could be done right.

Those animations let survivors know whether or not you're in frenzy. It's not just set dressing, the animations mean something in game.
Until they bother to fix Hunk, I couldn't give less of a damn if it's to let them know. They can hear the change with the heavy breathing.

Wanted to add that you'll also be carrying it so to all the people who wanna run around with knives NOT just on killer (Basically me), you can do that. Become the Legion member you've always wanted to be!

Legit the things that make the guards pretty useless is how long it takes for them to spawn and get into a hunt. You'd have to get lucky by having the survivor panic in order to really get a hit in.

I would not. 2.7k hours and someone who probably never played, they would be railed.

Hey, that isn't an option! At least one I don't see...

I just want all maps to have varying times of day. With exceptions like Silent Hill since... fog.

We need more items in general. I was disappointed with flashbangs since you toss them on the ground like rubbish and not like... a flashbang.

Shmuckles, Tatariu while I was playing Legion so I knew my ass was gonna be grass and TonyTheDuff.

Agreed. The gameplay ones with ghostie and meg are surprisingly funnier. Maybe that's because not much effort's needed with it since gameplay can still be goofy.
